Venezuela: Opposition leaders dragged from homes in early morning raids.
Venezuelan opposition leaders Leopoldo Lopez and Antonio Ledezma were taken from their homes by intelligence agents in the early hours of Tuesday morning, in the wake of the controversial assembly vote that Nicolas Maduro said would open “a new phase of combat” in the country’s revolution.
Videos distributed by the leaders’ families showed them being dragged out of their houses and bundled into cars belonging to the notorious intelligence unit Sebin. The opposition denounced the detentions as “kidnappings”, and said the whereabouts of the two men was currently unknown.
Here is that interview I did a couple of years ago with a Venezuelan expat. Many of you have seen it already and of course, its dated. But ill put the link here because the course of events he describes leading to where things where from when he describes the process up to that point, inevitably leads to where it is now. The next stage of course is mass slaughter of the people, gulags, if they don’t already exist, reeducation camps beyond the courses that are already mandatory in Canada for PC etc.

By non-coincidence whatsoever, yesterday I happened to notice that when I went to buy Tommy Robinson and Peter McGloughlin, I noticed that Amazon is not selling the physical book in my country. Which is Canada.
One of our German translators, Egri Nok, discovered that a book she was interested in, which is in fact the #1 selling book in Germany today, is not for sale in Germany. At least not by Amazon.
Notice the lack of a BUY button.
She also said:
“It has been erased as if it didn’t exist from the bestseller list of Der Spiegel. Even though it is the most-sold book in Germany currently.”
Interestingly, Peter McGloughlin’s other book, Easy Meat, about the giant scale Muslim child-sex-slave gangs in the UK, is also not available to buy in Canada.
Are these isolated events? or policy as the title of the post implies.
Is this a function of economics, its not worth carrying the physical book, or does this much truth violate Canada’s sharia laws disguised as ‘hate speech’?
Please send in examples of what is, and is not available. Chances are that far left wing, anti-white or anti-Western or anti-Christian material is still widely available and probably subsidized.
I know I posted this video at the end of the previous post. But the importance of this event, and Ezra’s analysis of it, cannot be overstated. Please watch it, and please think about it.

The EU attempts to make it look like Poland is moving away from democratic processes, when its the exact opposite that is the case. Having a judiciary under EU authority means no rule of law or accountability to an electorate at all.
Here, the EU threatens to remove Poland’s voting rights in the EU. Rights which Im certain have yet to make a difference at all in favour of Poland’s national interests. Like the various carefully stage managed referenda that the EU does from time to time for plausible deniability, any vote taken must end up advancing the cause of global governance and the replacement of liberalism with post modern world views. This is how it is everywhere under the spell of the ascendant left. The EU is chief among those.

The journalist Janne Josefsson accuses Botkyrka municipality’s library of burning Astrid Lindgren’s earlier books for leftist ideological reasons. Now the municipality acknowledges that the books are being recycled because they contain “racism”, as written in a press release.
In “Summer in P1”, the journalist Janne Josefsson claimed that the municipality of Botkyrka is burning older editions of Pippi in the South Seas.
“When you burn books for ideological reasons, there’s something in me that says, ‘Wait a bit, do we really want these to disappear. Shouldn’t a few remain so that I can tell my child that what the views were at the time?’” says Josefsson to Expressen.
Now the municipality’s library admits that they have thrown the books away for recycling. This is because the books contain “racist” expressions.
“The libraries in the municipality of Botkyrka have culled editions of Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi in the South Seas where there are obsolete expressions that can be perceived as racist, but Botkyrka Library have also bought the publisher’s new edition of the book from 2015 where the obsolete expressions have been replaced by more contemporary expressions,” the municipality writes in its press release.
“The culled specimens of Pippi in the South Seas have been discarded and handled according to the same routines as all other obsolete books,” they continue, and point out that discarded books are handled according to “regular recycling and waste management procedures”.
But Janne Josefsson does not buy that excuse. He tells Expressen that the difference is that Botkyrka discards the books for ideological reasons and because of an “intercultural policy”. According to Josefsson, the municipality is only trying to camouflage its behavior. He believes that the books should have remained and that the library could have discussed the books if they find the content so terrible.
[Editor: “Recycling” doesn’t seem nearly so awful as burning books like in Ray Bradbury’s dystopian novel. But recycling the books is really a small step from what is clearly coming. Recycling the authors, and then recycling the readers. After all, they do it in China. A country of who’s basic dictatorship, Justin Trudeau is in awe.]
The woman in this video makes many important points but does miss one that I am aware of.
In Canada, if a woman takes herself out to a bar for the purpose of getting drunk and meeting a man for sex, and has a few drinks she buys herself, and meets a man and takes him home, undresses him and initiates reproductive behaviours with him, and then in the morning she wishes she had not, he is defacto guilty of raping her simply because she regrets her choice of man post hoc or has a drunk’s remorse, and because the law puts the onus of responsibility on the man to make sure the woman is in a state of legal consent even if she put herself there.
By the way…
That means all men are guilty of rape in Canada, even if you are married and you got drunk together.
The articles I have found so far on the subject of course are all written to make it look like the laws should be even tougher. But even in the examples given where prosecution perhaps should have taken place, the law is clear that the man has all the responsibility for determining the mental state of the woman. The best he can hope for is not to be prosecuted if she, even on a whim or out of spite, decides to make the accusation.
However she makes several other important points very well on why many men have opted out of the 300,000 year old system of pair bonding with women.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s father once famously said:
“The government has no business in the bedrooms of the nation.”
Since then, that is the primary place that he, and successive governments have been in Canada.
While looking for the Carleton Place presentation, I found this, and as it was one of the subjects Dr. Peterson elaborated on, this seems like a nice aperitif.

I don’t remember where I ‘found’ this clip. Possibly Perfect Child, but possibly through other searches. The reason I think its important is because it smacks of being part of a larger plan to take Ontario’s fully Soviet style law 89,which allows the state to remove your children if you object to any choices of lifestyle they may make, which are with the postmodern agenda, and make the law, federal or at least extend it to Quebec.

As we point out here at VTB as often as we can, selective enforcement is the key instrument of the communist/muslim alliance. In this case it is used such that, should your male child be convinced that pretending to be a female is the way he wants to live his life, as the sales clip above is designed to do, you must allow it or have your children taken from you. But if he were to see a John Wayne movie and decide a life of rugged masculine individualism is for him, and maybe draw a gun in class, the state will also raid your home and take your children.
So once again, using the language of rights and freedoms is really is about imposing a narrative such that any choice but the postmodern one, the extreme left, or Islamic choice, will land you with a ruined life. And a severe case of cognitive dissonance if you don’t read sites like this one.

As an afterthought, I was searching for Thursday night’s Jordan Peterson lecture in Carleton Place near Ottawa; which is supposed to be up by now but so far no luck, and found this gem:

If you are so insecure you can’t be around the opposite sex, seek counseling. We’re in a secular society, with a chance for true equality, stop trying to regress it by imposing beliefs on others. Using the language of human rights, a tactic which we have seen in the last few decades is in fact a con to remove real human rights like the right to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, and many other genuine rights based on the liberal idea of the individual, the Canadian Senate passed the ludicrous freedom-crushing and full out post modernist (read communist) bill C16 as law in Canada on June 15, 2017.
The only peaceful option left, to borrow from the Bard, is that it be honoured in the breech more than in the observance.
Lets have a look at two arguments against the bill made by PhD.s in actual science, rather than in cultural Marxist thought, being the contemporary state of the Humanities in universities today.
Now that ‘human rights’ can compel you, not only be silent on things that are true like, “Islam is a political religious system of conquest and pillage which demands abuse and torture and dismemberment of unbelievers who fail to accept the absolute superiority of Muslims” but now can force you to say things which are not true in C16; who can possibly imagine it will stop there.
What will they compel us to say next?
A public high school has been accused of radical Islamic indoctrination by forcing children to profess the Muslim statement of faith, ordering them to memorize the Five Pillars of Islam and teaching that the faith of a Muslim is stronger than the average Christian, according to a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday.
Thomas More Law Center filed the lawsuit on behalf of John and Melissa Wood. They accuse La Plata High School in Maryland of subjecting their teenage daughter to Islamic indoctrination and propaganda. And when Mr. Wood complained – the school banned him from campus.
