From the time the perpetrator of the Toulouse massacre turned out to be a jihadist, there’s been a concerted effort by the Lamestream media to shove the entire incident under the carpet – noticed it?
Whereas before, when they happily concluded a “right-winger” must be responsible, every effort was made to tar Marine Le Pen with responsibility so that the media’s Left wing chums in French politics could benefit from these deaths; now it’s an irrelevant aberation by a diseffected and alienated “French citizen” – and of course, “nothing to do with Islam.”
Where are the press flow charts, the impressive graphics, the fine-tooth-comb examinations of the killer’s “manifesto”, the weeks of lengthy essays by “extremism specialists” pointing to malevolent “worldwide networks” that followed the Breivik slaughter?
There’s been none of it! Just a silent attempt to shoosh everything away and return the populace back to more important matters like reality television and celebrity bra sizes. We’ve been doing our best over here at Vlad Tepes to counter this, and the good folk over at JihadWatch have been putting up a valiant fight too.

Muhammad Merah’s murders had everything to do with Islam: he claimed affiliation with al-Qaeda and may have trained with the Taliban, both of which are explicitly and ostentatiously Muslim groups that justify all their actions by reference to the Qur’an and Sunnah. He claimed to be a mujahid, which is a warrior of jihad, which is an Islamic theological and legal concept.
He killed Muslim soldiers who fought in the infidel military — something that only someone who considered one’s loyalty to the umma to trump all other loyalties would have done. So grounded is Merah’s massacre in Islam that it is virtually inconceivable that he would have carried it out had he not been a Muslim.
And so Sarkozy is, like every other leader in the West, whistling in the dark, trying to pretend that there is no problem when there is a huge problem, and basing the future of his nation on the fantasy that the overwhelming majority of Muslims in France do not believe the same things Muhammad Merah believed…

Al-Qaeda linked group claims Toulouse shootings
Now Lebanon:
Al-Qaeda linked group Jund al-Khilafah has claimed responsibility for shootings this week in France, according to a statement posted on jihadist websites on Thursday.
“On… March 19th, our brother Yousef the Frenchman carried out an operation that shook the foundations of the Zionist Crusaders… and filled their hearts with terror,” said the statement apparently referring to the shooting of an Israeli-French teacher and three children at a Jewish school in France.
“We claim responsibility for these operations,” said the statement, adding that Israel’s “crimes… will not go unpunished.”
The jihadist group also called on France to change “its policies towards Muslims… and to abandon its aggressive tendencies towards Islam,” warning that such policies will bring “nothing but destruction.”
And it added: “Jews we say to you… our date with you is near and you will be dazzled by what we are capable of.”
The statement was pulled from some websites shortly after it was posted but remained on several other websites.
According to US monitoring group SITE, Jund al-Khilafah has previously claimed attacks in Afghanistan and Kazakhstan.

NIGERIA: TWO HOSTAGES HELD BY AL-QAIDA TERRORISTS SHOT DEAD DURING RESCUE ATTEMPT
Sad news, and after having to endure 10 months with these savages, only to be murdered by them during an attempted rescue. Heartfelt sympathies go out to the families of these men.
- British Chris McManus and Italian Franco Lamolinara were captured by kidnappers in May while working in northern Nigeria
- Two videos showing the hostages pleading for their lives while under armed guard were released by their captors
- PM David Cameron authorised the rescue mission as the pair’s lives were in ‘imminent and growing danger’
- But the kidnappers killed the two men as members of the Special Boat Service and Royal Marine commandos moved in on their hideout

A British hostage was killed by his captors in Nigeria yesterday when a UK Special Forces rescue operation ended in tragedy.
Chris McManus was executed by gunmen as members of the Special Boat Service and Nigerian soldiers moved in on the Al Qaeda-inspired terrorists’ hideaway.
Fellow hostage, Italian Franco Lamolinara, was also killed. The pair had been held for ten months.

Nigeria under attack
A suicide car bomber has killed at least three people at a church in the troubled central Nigerian city of Jos, sparking reprisals by Christian youths.
Witnesses said the suicide bomber drove his car into the prominent Church of Christ during morning prayers.
No group has claimed responsibility, but suspicion will fall on the radical Islamist sect Boko Haram.
The attack sparked a riot by Christian youths, with reports that at least two Muslims were killed in the violence.
The two men were dragged off their bikes after being stopped at a roadblock set up by the rioters, police said.
A row of Muslim-owned shops was also burned, an AFP reporter at the scene said.
‘Very angry’
Earlier, the suicide bomber smashed his car through unmanned gates towards the packed church, killing a woman in the process, witnesses said.

Suicide car bomb detonates outside Nigeria church

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — A suicide car bomber detonated his explosives Sunday morning outside of the major church in the heart of a restive central Nigerian city that has seen hundreds die in religious and ethnic violence, an official said, killing three people and injuring others.
The explosion struck the main headquarters of the Church of Christ in Nigeria during its early morning service, Plateau state spokesman Pam Ayuba said. The blast killed the bomber and a father and child near the explosion, while wounding others, Ayuba said.
Police officials in the city could not be immediately reached for comment. A military spokesman for the area also did not answer calls for comment.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, though a radical Islamist sect known as Boko Haram has launched increasingly bloody attacks across Nigeria, including attacks on churches. A Christmas Day bombing of a Catholic church claimed by the sect in Madalla, a town just outside the country’s capital Abuja, killed at least 44 people.
The group also claimed responsibility for bomb attacks on Christmas Eve that struck Jos, killing as many as 80 people.

Nigeria under attack
At least four people have been killed in the northern Nigerian city of Gombe in a gun and bomb attack on a prison and police station, officials say.
Police say they repulsed the attack which they blamed on the radical Islamist sect Boko Haram.
The groups has carried out deadly attacks and assassinations across northern Nigeria in recent months.
Earlier on Friday, gunmen killed five people at a mosque in Kano, the main city in northern Nigeria, police said.
A police spokesman said the attackers arrived on motorcycles and opened fire at worshippers.
Nigeria is experiencing a surge in ethnic and sectarian violence.
Gombe has previously been targeted by Boko Haram. In January, an attack on a church in the city left six worshippers dead.
In the latest attack, police said they successfully defended a federal prison and police station following multiple explosions and a two-hour gun battle.
Officials said four civilians were killed and police and army officers were injured.

Authorities have arrested a man allegedly on his way to the U.S. Capitol for what he thought would be a suicide attack on one of the nation’s most symbolic landmarks, Fox News has learned exclusively.
The man, in his 30s and of Moroccan descent, was nabbed following a lengthy investigation by the FBI, initiated after he expressed interest in conducting an attack. It’s unclear how the FBI learned of his aspirations.
The man thought undercover FBI agents assisting him in his plot were associates of Al Qaeda.

When he was arrested Friday in Washington, he was carrying with him a vest supposedly packed with explosives, but the material inside was not actually dangerous, Fox News was told.
A short time earlier, he had been praying at a mosque in the Washington area. His destination was Capitol Hill.
The public was never in danger, as he had been under constant surveillance for some time, officials said.

One of those is for the Council of American-Islamic Relations, which would probably be better named as the Council of American/Islamic Re-education.
I don’t read them every day, as there are simply not enough hours in the day for that while still working, sleeping, pretending to do housework and most importantly indoctrinating bringing up the next generation of nilknarfs.

Pakistan helping Afghan Taliban – Nato “I can’t xxxx on a tree without them watching” Senior Al-Queda operative

The Taliban in Afghanistan are being directly assisted by Pakistani security services, according to a secret Nato report seen by the BBC.
The leaked report, derived from thousands of interrogations, claims the Taliban remain defiant and have wide support among the Afghan people.
A BBC correspondent says the report is painful reading for international forces and the Afghan government.
A Pakistani foreign ministry spokesman called the accusations “ridiculous”.
“We are committed to non-interference in Afghanistan and expect all other states to strictly adhere to this principle,” Abdul Basit told the BBC.
“A stable and peaceful Afghanistan is in our own interests. We cannot indulge in any activity which takes us away from achieving that objective,” he added.
The report alleges that Pakistan knows the locations of senior Taliban leaders.
“We have long been concerned about ties between elements of the ISI [Pakistan’s intelligence service] and some extremist networks,” said US Pentagon spokesman Captain John Kirby, adding that the US Defence Department had not yet seen the report.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar is currently in Kabul for talks with Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

Norwegian Muslim jailed for bomb plot

A NORWEGIAN of Chinese Muslim origin with alleged links to al-Qaeda has been convicted of plotting to blow up a Danish newspaper that had printed cartoons of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison despite prosecutors calling for an 11-year term. It was Norway’s first terrorism case with alleged international links.

Convinced: US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta is adamant that the Pakistani government knew about Bin Laden’s remote hiding place
Pakistan officials must have known that terror chief Bin Laden was holed up in a remote compound in Abbottabad, claims Pentagon chief Leon Panettta.
The Defence Secretary has publicly hit out at the Pakistani government who he says ‘must have had some sense’ of Osama Bin Laden’s whereabouts.
He said he remains convinced they must have known someone of interest was hiding out in the safe-house in an interview for CBS’s ’60 Minutes’, but added he has no proof.
The explosive interview, to be broadcast tomorrow, also saw Panetta acknowledge for the first time that Pakistani doctor Shakil Afridi had provided key information about the former Al Qaeda frontman’s whereabouts.
Afridi ran a vaccination program for the CIA to collect DNA and verify Bin Laden’s presence in the hideout and Panetta confessed he is ‘very concerned’ for the doctor who has been charged by Pakistan with treason.
Since the May 2 attack on Bin Laden’s compound, last year, Pakistani leaders have continued to deny they had any idea Bin Laden was staying in the city.
This is despite revelations that he had been hiding at the site for as long as five years.
For months the CIA knew of his presence there and spied on him from its own top-secret safe-house next door to the terror leader’s fortified compound, before Navy Seals were sent in.

A Manchester man hunted by police over links with al-Qaida has died in a US drone attack in Pakistan.
Aslam Awan was one of four men killed in a missile strike near the Afghanistan border. American intelligence officials say Awan, formerly of Cheetham Hill, was an influential al-Qaida operative involved in planning attacks in the West.
