Documentary on Al Queda in Yemen

Listen carefully to some of the more subtle things said in this documentary. For example, Al Queda follows what the film maker calls, ‘their interpretations of sharia’. I would bet that they do not. I would bet they use interpretations of sharia as prescribed by muslim ‘scholars’ which are more accurately described as jurists. Most likely from the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and from Al Azaar, the people who sponsored Obama’s Cairo speech in 2009.

The very same people who have managed to trick their way into power in Egypt. The ones morons in the white house claim are, ‘secular and liberal and democratic’.

Doctor Who Helped Find Bin Laden Given Jail Term, Official Says

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — A Pakistani doctor who helped the Central Intelligence Agency pin down Osama bin Laden‘s location under cover of a vaccination drive was convicted on Wednesday of treason and sentenced to 33 years in prison, a senior official in Pakistan said.

A tribal court here in northwestern Pakistan found the doctor, Shakil Afridi, guilty of acting against the state, said Mutahir Zeb Khan, the administrator for the Khyber tribal region. Along with the jail term, the court imposed a fine of $3,500. Dr. Afridi, who may appeal the verdict, was then sent to Central Prison in Peshawar.

He had been charged under a British-era regulation for frontier crimes that unlike the national criminal code does not carry the death penalty for treason. Under Pakistani penal law, he almost certainly would have received the death penalty, a Pakistani lawyer said.

Dr. Afridi’s fate has been an added source of tension between Pakistan and United States, at a time when the two countries remain at loggerheads over reopening supply lines through Pakistan to Afghanistan.

In January, Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta confirmed that the United States had been working with Dr. Afridi while trying to confirm the location of Bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad in the months before the raid. American officials had previously said that the doctor been running a hepatitis B vaccination program as a ruse to obtain DNA evidence from members of Bin Laden’s family, who were thought to be hiding in the city. American officials say Dr. Afridi did not know the identity of his target.

Terrorists Plant Explosive Device On UN Monitors Vehicle And Film It For Propanganda As A Government Missile Attack-

LIVELEAK: Members of the ‘Free Syrian Army’ crowd around the bonnet UN monitor vehicle, and an explosive device is planted on the bonnet and explodes. The event is captured on camera by an operative placed a safe distance away in the area of Khan Sheikhun, Idlib province. No one was hurt by the explosion.

The terrorists claim that this was a missile attack by the Syrian army on the UN convoy. The videos clearly contradict the blatant lie. The second video is damning and shows damage which is not due to a missile landing on the car. The bonnet has been blown open and is uncharred, while the explosion came from lower down. Had this been a missile from the Syrian army, there would also have been scores of dead from the explosion as many people were around the car. Rather, the crowd was used as cover for the emplacement of the device.

West Africa jihadists threaten to kill Spanish hostage

A west African Al-Qaeda splinter group on Wednesday threatened to kill a Spanish hostage kidnapped in western Algeria last year if their demands are not met, a spokesman said.

“Spain is postponing every round of negotiations to answer our demands, and this is going to put the life of hostage Enrico Gonyalons to an end,” said Adnan Abu Walid Sahraoui, spokesman for the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa, or MUJAO.

BAMAKO May 5 (Reuters) – Malian fighters from the Ansar Dine Islamist group attacked and burned the tomb of one of the town’s saints, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, residents and a regional official said on Saturday.

The militants broke off doors, windows and wooden gates from the grave and burned them, they said, in the first reported attack on a shrine in Mali.

El Hadj Baba Haidara, an elected member of parliament from Timbuktu told Reuters some young people were discussing how to react despite being unarmed.

“There is a risk the people may revolt because this is something that affects their dignity. This tomb is sacred, it is too difficult to bear,” Haidara said.

Ansar Dine, along with Tuareg rebels and other armed groups, swept through northern Mali in March and April, seizing the northern half of the country and its ancient towns of Timbuktu, Gao and Kidal after the government collapsed in a March 22 coup.

While the rebel MNLA has declared an independent state in the north, al Qaeda-linked Ansar Dine – led by veteran Tuareg leader Iyad Ag Ghaly – has rejected that idea and said the group’s objective was to impose Islamic law in Mali.

5 killed in Nigeria church attack

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria—Witnesses say gunmen shot dead at least five people attending a church worship service in northeast Nigeria, including the pastor. That comes as gunmen killed at least 16 in a separate attack.

Witnesses say the gunmen attacked a Church of Christ in Nigeria church Sunday in Maiduguri, the spiritual home of the radical Islamist sect known as Boko Haram. The witnesses declined to be named for fear of reprisals.

Police spokesman Samuel Tizhe confirmed the attack took place.

Meanwhile Sunday, the Nigerian Red Cross said at least 16 people were killed in an attack on church services at the campus of Bayero University in the northern city of Kano.

No group has claimed the attacks, though they mirror others carried out by Boko Haram.

KANO, Nigeria (AP)—Gunmen attacked church services on a university campus Sunday in northern Nigeria, using small explosives to draw out and gun down panicking worshippers in an assault that killed at least 16 people, officials said.

The attackers targeted an old section of Bayero University’s campus where religious groups use a theater and other areas to hold worship services, Kano state police spokesman Ibrahim Idris said. The assault left many others seriously wounded, Idris said.

“By the time we responded, they entered (their) motorcycles and disappeared into the neighborhood,” the commissioner said.

Team Obama Wants Children Banned from Doing Farm Chores

Rural kids, parents angry about Labor Dept. rule banning farm chores

A proposal from the Obama administration to prevent children from doing farm chores has drawn plenty of criticism from rural-district members of Congress. But now it’s attracting barbs from farm kids themselves.

The Department of Labor is poised to put the finishing touches on a rule that would apply child-labor laws to children working on family farms, prohibiting them from performing a list of jobs on their own families’ land.

Under the rules, children under 18 could no longer work “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials.”

“Prohibited places of employment,” a Department press release read, “would include country grain elevators, grain bins, silos, feed lots, stockyards, livestock exchanges and livestock auctions.”

Nigerian car bombs kill many in Kaduna

Two car bombs have exploded in the northern Nigerian city of Kaduna, killing at least 16 people, officials say.

Several others were seriously injured in the attack and have been taken to hospital.

The death toll could be higher, with one official, Abubakar Zakari Adamu, telling the AP news agency 38 had died.

The blasts, which caused extensive damage, happened near restaurants, a hotel and two churches.

The area has been the scene of a religious conflict in recent years that has claimed hundreds of lives.

There had been warnings of attacks in the region over Easter.

Many of the dead are thought to be motorcycle taxi drivers and beggars.

Witnesses say debris was thrown dozens of metres from the centre of the blast.

Kaduna can be found on the dividing line between Nigeria’s largely Christian south and Muslim north.
