Würzburg  – A suspected mentally ill man raced through Würzburg with a stolen small truck, injuring four. The 35-year-old hijacked the delivery truck of a bakery on Wednesday before noon, and took off with an employee of the bakery in the rear, police announce. At high speed, the German sped away, rammed an oncoming car, and several parked cars, before the truck got wedged. After the 35-year-old had exited the driver’s compartment, he pushed a motorcycle rider from his bike, and finally wounded himself. Four passers-by overpowered the man until police arrested him.

Property Damage and Injuries
The employee of the bakery, the driver of the oncoming car, the motorcyclist, and one of the passers-by were injured, according to police. At least eleven cars were damaged by the man on his run. He was taken to hospital.

German Finance Minister: “We Can’t Change The Course Of History. Accept That Islam Is A Part Of Germany Now.”

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble (CDU) told Germans:

“We can’t stop the course of history. Everyone will have to deal with the fact that Islam has become a part of our country.”

While Schäuble said that Muslims in Germany needed to realize that they live in a country that was not shaped by Islamic traditions, he concluded:

“And the rest of the population has to accept that there is a growing proportion of Muslims in Germany.”

Update: Police Think Syrian Set Leipzig House On Fire Intentionally, Wounding 16, Killing 1

As we reported, a Syrian refugee set fire to an apartment house in Leipzig in the early morning hours of Good Friday, wounding 16, and killing one woman.

The Federal Prosecutor confirms to Bild newspaper that the man was arrested and charged with particularly grave arson, murder, and attempted murder. Police think that the arson was intentional. The man had set fire to a rubbish bin at the rear exit, so that the entire stairs and hallway caught fire within minutes, from the ground floor to the roof. The house’s entrance appears to have been blocked with a sofa.

According to neighbours, the Syrian regularly fought with his wife so bad that police came to intervene several times.

The woman who died in the flames is not yet identified, but is believed to be tenant Sandy B., 40 years old; while a yet unidentified man, who is in critical condition with utmost severe burns, is believed to be her partner.
The two who had to jump from the roof into the firefighters’ cushion, a man and a woman, suffered broken bones, but are otherwise fine.

Germany: Syrian Sets House On Fire, 17 Wounded, 1 Dead

A Syrian set fire to an apartment house in Leipzig in the early morning hours of Good Friday, killing one person and wounding 17. A local fire engine enthusiast, Einsatzfahrten Leipzig, filmed the following footage:

This next video by Bild shows the two who are locked on the roof jump down into the firefighters’ cushion:

Bild report 16 wounded, two of them critically, and one dead. 34 people lost their home.

When police searched the house on Friday afternoon with a thermographic camera, they found what they initially thought was a male body. But the autopsy later revealed that it was a female body. Police also found several dead pets in the house.

Police confirm that the arsonist is a 32-year-old Syrian, a resident of that very house, and that he will be charged with arson and murder.

“We want everyone to see what was done to our daughter”

Germany – Vivien, 24, was stabbed down and critically wounded by a 17-year-old Syrian refugee last Saturday, when she and her boyfriend were shopping for groceries in the small German town of Burgwedel (see report Bloody Weekend – Knife Attacks All Over Germany). She had to undergo emergency surgery and remained in critical condition.

Prosecution has opened an investigation against the boy for battery. His family, who came to Germany as refugees in 2013, issued a statement that they are sorry about the incident, however, “they want it investigated how it could come to him stabbing out”.

Vivien’s parents approached the newspaper Bild Zeitung. An original translation:

Hannover – sensors watch over her somatic functions, tubes sustain Vivien K. (24). The young woman is in intensive care – she was the victim of a knife-stabber after an argument in the supermarket.

“We want nothing more than our daughter to get well again. But we also want everyone to see what happened to her”, say Vivien’s parents.

The doctors had to remove her spleen, and part of her pancreas. Her ribs are broken. Four days after the knife attack, on Wednesday, she woke from the artificial coma.

Flashback: On Saturday, she and her boyfriend Domenic K. (25) were shopping a supermarket in Burgwedel (Lower Saxony), and happened upon two cousins (13, 14), who were allegedly wrestling. Vivien, who is a shop assistant, asked the two to stop it.

Outside, the couple met the two again, with a brother (17). He stabbed Vivien into the belly with a jackknife. Domenic: “I thank God that Vivien is still alive. The doctors said, two centimeters that made the difference between life and death.”

The alleged perpetrator is in custody and remains silent. He came to Germany as a Syrian refugee in 2013. He is charged with dangerous battery.

According to a relative, Domenic pulled one of the children by the ear, before the attack.

The victim’s attorney Björn Nordmann: “In my preliminary assessment of the issue it is an attempted murder. The alleged perpetrator approved of my client’s possible death when he stabbed her brutally.”

A spokesman of the public Prosecutor: “Our investigations are at the beginning, we still have to interview witnesses. It is possible that we will then assess the issue differently.”

The old lady was in his control for about an hour, and had to endure the humiliating torment. Now Dzengis D. was sentenced.

The crime took place in Wilhelmsburg [Hamburg, translator]: In the morning of July 8., 2017, the 29-year-old broke into the apartment of the old lady through her open balcony door. This was the beginning of the 82-year-old’s torment: for about an hour, Dzengis D. repeatedly raped her, five times in total. Before he fled, he stole 100 Euros from the 82-year-old.

There is evidence beyond doubt that the defendant was the perpetrator, announces the judge on Tuesday. The investigators found, among other, the defendant’s mobile phone in the apartment of the 82-year-old, which slipped from his trousers during the crime.

The old lady suffered several injuries. As the 29-year-old is HIV positive, she had to undergo HIV prophylaxis with severe side effects, and until this day, she suffers from the long-term effects of the deed. According to Georg Haller, chairman of the criminal chamber, the old lady barely dares leaving the house anymore, or even opening the windows for fresh air. She suffers from sleep disorder.

On Tuesday, the court found the defendant guilty of grave rape and intentional battery and theft. He will have to go to jail for six years. The Federal Prosecutor had demanded six years and ten months jail time, the defense lawyer had pleaded for four or five years.

The deed evoked disbelief and shock among everyone involved in the trial, said judge Haller. „To rape an 82-year-old woman for one hour can only be met with absolute lack of understanding.“ He added, unusually emotional for an experienced judge: „The whole crime is just reprehensible.“

The 29-year-old was planning and careful during his deed. Before he raped the woman for the first time, he handed her her asthma spray that she asked for. „To say it bluntly: The defendant isn’t ill, he is simply evil“, said Haller. The 29-year-old, measly and bold, held his hands in front of his face and accepted the verdict with lowered head.

Crime Scene: Burgwedel in Lower Saxony, an idyllic small town of 20,000 people near Hannover. Early Saturday evening, a woman (24) and her partner go shopping in an Edeka supermarket.

Around 19.30 they meet two brothers, both of them Syrian refugees, according to police, 13 and 14. An argument ensues – it is still unclear why. But everything seems over after a short while, the couple leave the supermarket with their groceries.

But on their way home, after 100 meters, they suddenly find themselves facing the youths again. They fetched their big brother (17) – and a knife.

The argument flares up again. Then, one of the brothers stabs – the 17-year-old, according to the Federal Prosecution. The young woman is wounded, collapses on the open street, critically injured by a stab into her abdomen.

The attackers flee. The victim is taken to a hospital. The doctors manage to save the life of the woman in a dramatic emergency surgery, but her condition is still critical.
A manhunt is started, after a short time, police arrest the youths. An arrest warrant for the oldest brother is issued, the two younger ones walk free.
An investigation against the 14-year-old for dangerous battery is started. The exact motive of the bloody deed is still unclear.

Breaking: Terror in France, Three Killed, Moroccan Jihadi Finally Shot By Police

An alleged Islamist killed three people in Southern France.

  • First, he fired at police officers who were just working out. Then he took several hostages in a supermarket

Alarm at Southern France police: on Friday, an alleged member of the Jihadi Militia Islamic State (IS) killed a total of three people in the Département Aude. After several hours, police forces managed to kill him in Trèbes.

The situation is still unclear. However, the perpetrator appears to be a notorious Islamist. As reported by the radio station France Info, the man was already known to the intelligence services, and in a data base to fight terrorism and radicalization. He reportedly was under surveillance. According to the newspaper „La Dépêche du Midi“, the man was a Moroccan aged between 30 and 40.

The first incident took place in the city of Carcassonne. As „Le Monde“ report, between 9:30 and 10 AM, an unknown person opened fire  at four officers who were just returning from running. One of them was injured in the shoulder, but his condition is not critical.

Then, the man stole a car, killing the passenger and wounding the driver. Upon that, he drove to the nearby town of Trèbes. An eye-witness said that the perpetrator shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) [translator’s note: this common translation is not quite correct, it means “Allah is greater” or “is greatest”) when he assaulted the local supermarket “Super U“ market at 11:15 AM. He was armed with knives, a shotgun and hand grenades.

According to police, the supermarket’s butcher was lethally shot. The identity of the third victim yet remains to be clarified. According to the Interior Ministry, three more people are wounded. Among them is one police officer, who was held as the sole hostage in the end.

In the afternoon, around 3 PM, a special Gendarmerie force stormed the supermarket and shot dead the hostage taker.

Macron calls it an act of terror

The anti terror unit of the Paris Prosecution took over investigations. The authority annoucnes that they opened an investigation for murder and attempted murder in connection with terrorism.

President Emmanuel Macron, who was participating in the EU summit in Brussels, said during the hostage situation that everything indicated it was an act of terrorism. Prime Minister Edouard Philippe made an according statement and spoke of a “serious situation“.

France has repeatedly been the target of Islamist attacks. Especially the attacks of Paris in 2015, and Nice in 2016, shook the country to the core. In Paris alone, 130 people were killed. Lately, two women were killed in an attack in Marseille on October 1.

Authorities speak of a continued high terror risk. Interior Minister Collomb reported in late February that since New Year, two attacks on a sports venue, and on military, had been foiled.

German Press on Attack on Merkel: When someone runs towards you, yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’, don’t be bigoted!

Berlin – on Wednesday, a loudly yelling Afghan ran towards Angela Merkel, as she was leaving the Reichstag, and was wrestled down by two security guards. It was caught on camera, and aired live, more or less accidentally.

Die Welt reassure us that the “disturber was merely running towards Merkel”, no harm intended, and that there is no reason for a “knee jerk reaction”, just because someone runs toward you, yelling “something in a foreign language” that “sounds similar to Allahu akbar”.

We are translating it for the humor:

Germany: Court orders Volkswagen to keep Islamist employee

Hannover — It is 11:42 AM when Samir B. (30) strolls into the Hannover State Labor Court in sweat pants and moccasins. The Islamist is suing Volkswagen.

The car manufacturer dismissed him in November 2016 because he threatened coworkers, and because he appeared to be leaving for ISIS territory. The German-Algerian had acted provocatively in the court’s hallway, filming the journalists present. A court clerk makes him delete the video, as he doesn’t have a permit to film.

The allegations against the assembly line worker (monthly net wage €3,500) are serious: Volkswagen were concerned that their employee might carry out an attack on the manufacturing plant in Wolfsburg. For example, at one of their workers’ caucus, where up to 10,000 workers attend.

BILD is documenting the case

It was late August 2014, when Samir B. was in a restaurant in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Next to him sat the Wolfsburgers Bilel H. and Houssem H. Both of them went to Syria shortly thereafter, and joined the Islamic State. Both of them are dead now!

They were part of the Wolfsburg terror cell. And it seems that Samir B. was involved in their activities more deeply than he wants to admit.

On December 28, 2014, Federal Police stopped him at Hannover airport — he had €9,350 in cash and a drone with him, Wolfsburger Nachrichten report.

The investigators are certain: B. wanted to travel to the Syrian war zone. His passport was confiscated.

According to VW’s lawyers and the Braunschweig District Court, it is an established fact that Samir B. “was involved in recruiting and supporting fighters from Wolfsburg”.

According to one investigator, Samir even drove the ISIS-recruiter Yassine O. and the two sentenced returnees Ayoub B. and Ebrahim H.B. to the airport.

The Islamist played it cool, just smiled arrogantly, when the judge read out the case. He had the stamps of Saudi Arabia, Egypt ad Turkey in his passport. From Turkey, he travelled three times over land and back by plane.

In the Wolfsburg shopping street, he and other future ISIS fighters handed out Korans and literature by the hate preacher Pierre Vogel. And that is not all: according to investigators, Samir threatened his colleagues in the tyre factory: “You are all going to die.”

According to VW, the workers feared their radical colleague more and more. Therefore the car manufacturer had no alternative but to dismiss him. On January 11, Samir B. got his passport back.

In Hannover, he puts it on the table in front of him defiantly. VW want to get rid of the man by any means; upon the judge’s advice, they even offer him a €65,000 settlement and a clean employment reference letter — the Islamist seems interested, asks repeatedly what net sum that would get for him. But his attorneys refuse the deal!

Then at 6:39pm the court hands down the verdict: They deem the dismissal invalid! VW had not been able to show that the company’s peace was manifestly disturbed.

This means: in four weeks, when the Islamist receives the written verdict, VW will have to let him work again. The car manufacturer still consider the dismissal valid, and will probably take it to the Federal Labor Court.

Berlin International Tourism Fair: Police Move In To Protect Israel Booth – from Fair’s Own Guards

An incident occurred at the Israel booth at International Tourism Fair (ITB) at Berlin fair halls on Thursday. Three men of a security company employed by the fair loudly marched towards the booth by the Israel Tourism agency, chanting “Free Palestine”.

Police dragged the men away in the end and banned the troublemakers. A fair spokesman confirms the incident.

Visitors report that the three men were of Arabic ethnicity. It is yet unclear if they had caused trouble before or if police are investigating for causing a disturbance.

Police officers have warned repeatedly that security companies in Berlin employ young men who have connections to notorious clans and radical mosques. There was no harassment at the ITB booths of Turkey, whose military is just moving into the Kurdish-Syrian city of Afrin, or Egypt, which currently sees massive anti government protests.

Lichtenberg — She was just beginning to conquer the world. The first love, the first heartbreak. But then Keira G. (14) fell in with the wrong person. Apparently, she trusted her future killer and took him home. In the nursery, the meeting ended in a deadly bloodbath.

The mother of the 14-year-old made the terrible discovery on Wednesday evening in the flat on the Plauener Street. At about 5.30 pm she found her daughter in the child’s room with several knife-wounds.

“The autopsy confirmed the suspicion”

For nearly 90 minutes, the rescuers tried to revive the girl. However the as yet unknown perpetrator had acted like a madman when he stabbed the young victim. Keira G. died before her mother’s eyes. The woman collapsed and has been cared for by a pastor ever since. A murder commission took over the investigation.

“The autopsy confirmed the suspicion that the adolescent has been the victim of a homicide,” said Martin Steltner, a spokesman for the prosecutor. “Further details can’t be released because of the ongoing investigation.” For the investigators, the case is a mystery. A squad of a hundred police officers searched the area on Thursday morning looking for the murder weapon. They checked out every bin, under every car, in every shrubbery. To no avail.

Murder investigators were knocking on doors everywhere in the neighborhood, showing a photo of the deceased. The officials hope to get information about their contacts and their last place she was seen. Through an evaluation of her cell phone, the police already have a suspect in mind. Investigators assume that the perpetrator and the victim knew each other.

The police therefore assume it was a relationship crime. A neighbor reported that he heard a fight in the evening and loud door-banging. “It might be able to proceed to an arrest soon,” said one investigator.

No witnesses

According to information from neighbors, the 14-year-old lived in an apartment alone with her mother and a small dog, a Jack Russel mix. Keira G. was a passionate skater at the Berlin TSC [sports club]. She regularly trained in the nearby indoor sports stadium.

Because there are no witnesses so far, it is quite possible that the police will go public with a call for witnesses.

An unknown person attacked passers-by randomly in Vienna-Leopoldstradt. Three were critically injured.

An unknown person seemingly randomly stabbed passers-by on Wednesday evening on Praterstraße near subway station Nestroyplatz, and subsequently fled in the direction of Praterstern. According to first information, there are at least three critically wounded – they are in critical condition.

The exact details of the deed are still unknown. The perpetrator is currently on the loose. Police and special unit WEGA are carrying out operations. Officers in heavy equipment with assault rifles search the area. Police cars are patrolling the streets with flashlights.

Victims between 40 and 50 years old

According to police, the victims are one man and two women – a couple and their adult daughter. The two women have been stabilized by now, but the man is still in critical condition. Rescuers are in action with eight emergency vehicles and an emergency subway train.

After the deed, there was another person critically injured by knife stabbing at Praterstern. Police announce that they are investigating whether there is a connection between the two deeds. Praterstern is just a few walking minutes away from Praterstraße.

Current information on the operation in the #Praterstraße area: at 7:45PM, a perpetrator wounded three people with a knife. Shortly afterwards, a second assault occurred at Praterstern. The connection is subject of current investigation.

Police securing house entrances

The search for the perpetrator is still ongoing. Heavily armed police officers secure house entrances. Around 9:20 PM, an ambulance with flashlights raced downtown.

Subways turned around
The subways around Nestroyplatz were rerouted as a precaution. One of the U2 trains waited for 10 minutes at Praterstern before it turned around and returned to Taborstraße.

Police are combing the immediate neighbourhood, the Kärntner Street and the Donau channel.

Witness Silvia Franke said she was about 100 meters (330 feet) away when the incident happened.

“I saw how someone in the middle of the street was screaming and shouting — I thought he was beating his dog judging from his hand movements,” she said. “And in reality he was stabbing this man.”

“He could have stabbed me as well had I been there by chance,” Franke said. “He had lost all control.”

A 17-year-old Libyan refugee girl in Germany named Alaa was stabbed down and critically injured by her ”husband” and her brothers, who filmed the deed.

The brother who did the stabbing is currently standing trial for preparing an Islamic act of terror, and had just been released from custody on February 26.

Alaa’s family then sent the video to her alleged lover. In this version below, that was published by Bild newspaper, the scenes that actually show the critically wounded girl have been blackened out. She can only be heard begging for an ambulance, as she is pregnant – again. She had the first child from her twice-her-age “husband” when she was 16.

“I Delight in Watching Her Die”

A 17-year-old is stabbed down by her husband and her brother in an Islamic rite. Was it an attempted honor killing? It appears the family sent a disturbing mobile video to the victim’s boyfriend after the crime.

This act of violence is blood-curdling: Tuesday evening, a young woman is brutally stabbed down by her husband and her brother. She is critically injured. The two flee. Shortly thereafter, they are arrested on a train in Schweinfurt, 250 kilometers away.

Investigators assume a “relationship incident”, but for tactical reasons they initially did not disclose more. The 17-year-old girl from Libya is married to a 34-year-old Syrian by Islamic law, but not by German law. Both of them came to Germany as refugees.

Disturbing new details have now been disclosed. On Friday afternoon, police announced that it appears that before the deed the 17-year-old wanted to separate from her husband. Was it an attempted honor killing? The cultural and religious background is an important part of the investigations.

According to “Bild” newspaper, the young woman fell in love with an asylum seeker from neighboring Biberach. On the evening of the crime, the family was assembled in the parental home in Laupheim. After an argument escalated, the 20-year-old brother drove a knife into his sister’s chest and critically injured her.

Alleged phone video to the lover

In its Saturday edition the paper printed stills from a mobile video. In it, threatening male voices, and a whimpering woman can be heard.

Another brother — not the stabber — allegedly said “Can you see where I’m standing? I delight in watching her die, and smoke a cigarette whilst doing so.” The video was allegedly recorded in the nursery of the 17-year-old, and sent to the man from Biberach.

The victim was not fit for questioning on Friday. But she isn’t in critical condition any longer, the police spokesman replies to our inquiry. She is in stable condition. The criminal police are still investigating friends and family of those involved. The 34-year-old man and the 20-year-old brother of the badly injured woman are still in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.

The 20-year-old brother is an Islamist, apparently. He is currently standing trial for assisting in the preparation of a grave and subversive act of terror, and for perjury. According to the investigators, he was released from custody only on February 26 — shortly before the deed. The “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” report that the Libyan [husband — translator] had been “on the radar” of the special task force of Interior Minister Thomas Strobl (CDU), who is responsible for the deportation of particularly criminal foreigners and terror risks.

Honor killings in Germany

Crimes with a background of alleged violations of honor make the headlines times and again. In February 2005, the German-Turk Hatun Sürücü was shot dead at a bus stop in Berlin. The murder — allegedly committed in the name of honor — created ripples across Germany. Her youngest brother was sentenced to nine and a half years in youth detention.

In the case of the murder of the mother-of-six Hanaa S. from Solingen in 2015, the court established this January that it was a deed “to restore the family honor”.

This last paragraph by Die Welt, mentioning only two cases, is quite an underestimation. Ehrenmord.de, who track known cases of Sharia killings in Germany, list 12 attempted honor killings, two of them lethal, just for January 2018, and 77 cases in 2017, 45 of them deadly, others “only” leaving the survivor disfigured.

Germany: Top Islamic Lobbyist Makes Revealing Tweet

A top Islamic lobbyist in Germany is boasting about his excellent connections to the German establishment in a series of tweets.
He isn’t just an ordinary guest on the party convention of Merkel’s CDU that is taking place today:

“We are guests of honor on all conventions of our democratic parties in Germany, and on the #cdupt18 [CDU party convention 2018]”

The clause “all conventions of democratic parties” appears to be a dig at the Islam-critical party AfD (Alternative für Deutschland), who do not invite Islamic lobbyists to their conventions. Mr. Mazyek seems to imply here that only a non-democratic party would not have him as a guest of honor.

The AfD now come second strongest in opinion polls in Germany, while the two established, and traditionally largest parties, Merkel’s CDU and the SPD, have seen their historic lows in the recent elections.
Nevertheless, they have been in negotations for weeks now to form another ‘Grand Coalition’ government for the next 4 years, while the AfD is the strongest oppositional party in the Bundestag.

SPD and CDU’s mutual government declaration of last week included the statement of intent to fight “anti-Islamic sentiments”, a first-time in a German government declaration.

Aiman Mazyek is chair of the ZMD, Council of Muslims in Germany, a frequent talk show guest, and not just the German mainstream media’s darling:

Aiman Mazyek, Angela Merkel and Social Democrat chief Sigmar Gabriel at a 2015 “vigil” in Berlin in response another Islamic terror attack.

His organization ZMD was founded as recent as 1994, their name mimicking the long-established ZJD, Council of Jews in Germany.

Organizationally, Mr. Mazyek’s ZMD is an umbrella organization for Islamic groups in Germany, including a thinly veiled German branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Some researchers deem the ZMD as a whole a covert Muslim Brotherhood organization. The Muslim Brotherhood is banned as a terrorist organization in Germany.

Another tweet by Mr. Mazyek earlier indicates what to expect from the new German government:
