Nigel Farage: Vlad’s European favorite.

Keep an eye open for another European Parliament video coming your way this evening. We are waiting for the Dutch and the German translation, but we have the French now. Meanwhile, enjoy this excellent analysis by Nigel of the state of the European Politburo.

Thanks to KitmanTV for finding one in English and apologies to all who have been working on helping translate the one I had

Here is an interesting link on freedom of speech.

Link is here. Please click through and read. Thank you KS for sending it to me. This really is a good and important article. I hope that those of you who read it here, consider sending it to everyone you know.

As an aside, Poland during the Soviet occupation used to have an interesting expression. Poles would say to each other, “2+2=4” and that had tremendous significance. It was in fact, a radical statement at the time. I just mention that as an interesting fact of history and for no particular purpose.

Short video detailing a tiny bit of the Korean situation.

I find what is taking place in Korea to be extremely distressing. And of course, one cannot determine the thoughts and motives of a madman. So how can you build a response or model the future based on a leader like Kim, who has contempt for the welfare of his own people.

STRATFOR, to whom I have subscribed for a few years now, explains (paraphrasing and taking liberties) that Kim’s son, who is the next ’emperor’ of NORK is consolidating his power by staging an artillery attack on South Korea, hoping for a military response presumably, that will force the military to look to him for leadership, once again showing his profound contempt for the lives of his citizens.

There are lots of possible other explanations ranging from a desire to actually use one of their nuclear weapons, a cover for Iranian activities hoping to divert US attention and military assets away from the Gulf, and hoping for a south Korean military response to use as background for one of Kim’s Musical theatre extravaganzas Kim is so fond of. Nothing like the 1812 overture with real artillery especially if it is raining down on your own starved peasants.

In any case, here is a video showing some of what happened.

Britain ‘EDL not far-right,’ says police extremism chief

So glad somebody noticed.

From The Morningstar Online:

Tuesday 23 November 2010
by John Millington

The new head of police domestic extremist units was condemned today after denying that the English Defence League was a right-wing extremist group.

Detective Chief Superintendent Adrian Tudway, who took over the role of national co-ordinator for domestic extremism last week, claimed police had to walk a “tightrope” when targeting small groups which they believe are bent on violence.

Senior officers have gone on the offensive following the student protests and the resulting occupation of 30 Millbank two weeks ago, saying that more resources are being invested in identifying potential “flashpoints of disorder.”

Mr Tudway said his officers were focusing on the “fringe” where protest “spills over” into violence and disorder.

His comments came on the eve of tomorrow’s wave of protests against rising university fees.

The National Public Order Intelligence Unit, National Domestic Extremism team and National Extremism Tactical Co-ordination Unit employ about 100 people with a budget of £8.1 million.

The police units, which are set to be integrated into the Met Police under a rebranding exercise, have come under fire for using intrusive surveillance tactics to identify hundreds of people who have attended protests and then sharing the information with other forces.

However Mr Tudway insisted that intelligence officials do not examine the work of trade or student unions and went on to say that the EDL was not an extreme right-wing group. Continue Reading →

Toronto man sentanced to 4 years for attempting to kill many family members.

If memory serves, I know of Canadians who have received more time for doing less with their cars but by accident. Meanwhile this man attempted to wipe out several people.

On Arizona, and enforcing US laws.

Has the US gone mad? How is it that enforcing rational laws developed over millennium have become a rebellious act? And it is not just the US. Europe is activly attempting to destroy all borders and dumb itself down to the most savage and barbaric who can walk, swim, crawl or stow away onto that land mass.

NYT: NATO tricked out of loads of cash

KABUL, Afghanistan — For months, the secret talks unfolding between Taliban and Afghan leaders to end the war appeared to be showing promise, if only because of the appearance of a certain insurgent leader at one end of the table: Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour, one of the most senior commanders in the Taliban movement.

But now, it turns out, Mr. Mansour was apparently not Mr. Mansour at all. In an episode that could have been lifted from a spy novel, United States and Afghan officials now say the Afghan man was an impostor, and high-level discussions conducted with the assistance of NATO appear to have achieved little.

“It’s not him,” said a Western diplomat in Kabul intimately involved in the discussions. “And we gave him a lot of money.”

FOOMF, who sends me many of the best videos I post here, sent me this great one of someone who recently started to realize who and what the UN actually is:

UN General Assembly Votes To Allow Gays To Be Executed Without Cause

Post image for UN General Assembly Votes To Allow Gays To Be Executed Without Cause

Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people were once again subject to the whims of homophobia and religious and cultural extremism this week, thanks to a United Nations vote that removed “sexual orientation” from a resolution that protects people from arbitrary executions. In other words, the UN General Assembly this week voted to allow LGBT people to be executed without cause.

According to the International Gay and Lesbians Human Rights Commission, the UN General Assembly’s Third Committee on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian issues removed “sexual orientation” from a resolution addressing extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions this past week in a vote that was overwhelming represented by a majority of African, Middle East and Carribean nations.  For a UN committee that addresses human rights questions that affect people all over the world, by removing protections for LGBT persons from a category of arbitrary executions,  belies the objective and purpose of a committee whose  focus this year is “on the examination of human rights questions,” according to its website.

A number of LGBT human rights advocates were surprised by the decidedly lop-sided vote, including Mark Bromley, the chair of the Council on Global Equality, a Washington, D.C. based organization that brings together human rights organizations, LGBT groups, philanthropists and corporate leaders to ”encourage a clearer and stronger American voice on human rights concerns impacting LGBT communities around the world.”

“I was very surprised by the vote,” said Bromley, who had been in contact with the United States Mission to the United Nations delegation all day Tuesday, who were trying to beat back efforts to strip sexual orientation from the resolution.  But because the U.S. supports capital punishment, they usually abstain from voting on this resolution, thus they are in a weakened position with one arm tied behind their backs, according to Bromley. “But that said, the State Department did everything possible to beat back the efforts to repeal protections for LGBT persons,” he added.

I would like to offer the following to all who were surprised by the vote.

Stop studying Marxism to the exclusion of all else. Have a look at the largest voting block at the UN, specifically the OIC and its agenda. Ask yourself why the UN and UN HRC is so lopsidedly against Israel in every way. Then ask yourself what gay rights are like within Israel and in the 50 odd Islamic nations that surround it and then ask yourselves why you are surprised. I know gay people, like Jews, are not a hive mind but I can’t help but notice that most gay organizations are stridently leftist, and pro Islamic. It may be time for gay people to follow less blindly the leftist-Islamic narrative and determine what really is in your own interests.

All  the windows in the Restaurant were broken. Several other people in the vicinity of the fire had heard in the morning a strong bang. The center of Tampere in the morning was full of smoke.

One Man Detained in Connection with Fatal Fire

YLE: Police in Tampere have detained one man thought to be involved in Monday morning’s fatal fire in the city centre. Forensic evidence indicates that the fire, which took three lives, was intentionally set.

They announced on Tuesday morning they had taken one man into custody, but declined to say whether he was one of two seen leaving the scene.

Police are investigating the fire as a case of aggravated arson, three cases of first degree manslaughter and four cases of battery.

The blaze, which started in the foreign-owned Juliet kebab-pizzeria on the ground floor, caused the deaths of three and the hospitalization of another four people. Police say there is no evidence indicating that it was a crime specifically aimed against immigrants, but said that the theory could not be ruled out.

Three of the four who were hospitalized were released on Monday afternoon. One elderly woman was still in intensive care on Tuesday morning, but her condition had stabilised.

The dead were two men and one woman, all in their late 20s. They were found in stairwells on the first floor and between the 4th and 5th floors.

Police are asking the public for any eyewitness reports of people or vehicles seen near the site of the blaze just before or after the fire broke out aruond 5.26 a.m.. They have an eyewitness report of two figures dressed in dark clothing seen running from the area toward the Kyttälä neighbourhood just after the fire began.

THE TUNDRA TABLOIDS LIVE BLOGS THE TRIAL OF ELISABETH SABADTISCH-WOLFF IN AUSTRIA

This is coming straight from the courtroom in Vienna, Austria, where the Tundra Tabloids is being handed a live feed from Henrik Raeder Clausen of EuropeNews. You’ll be the first to know about the events taking place inside the Austrian courtroom, where the first hearing of the case against Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff, who’s accused of violating Europe’s onerous hate speech statutes, will be heard.

NOTE: There is a one hour time difference between Finnish and Austrian time zones. KGS

HEARING BEGINS AT 10:00 AUSTRIAN TIME:

9:20 Henrik Clausen states that “we’re outside the court room, waiting for Elisabeth to appear at 9:00.”

Credit for the pictures : http://sosheimat.wordpress.com/

9:41: H.C. Austrian TV is here with camera crew.

10:34: Opening remarks

The room has seats for 15, 25 spectators there. ATV and other press asks for comments, but on advice of the lawyer ESW says ”No comments now, after the hearings”.

The judge informs ESW about her rights, that all she says can be used against her.

The public prosecutor makes a short summary of various conclusions from ESW, taken out of the context from 8 hours of teachings. Without the context, they sound omnious, like speaking of a ”Burqa ghost”, comparing her statements to those of Susanne Winter, mentioning that Muhammad married a child of 6, as well as the risk that we will eventually have a civil war.

Defence lawyer talks of the principles of gender equality, freedom of religion and the lack of reciprocity that exists in Islam, for example that other religions cannot be freely excercised in several Islamic countries. That ESW grew up in Islamic countries and has experienced the situation of women there directly.

He continues to explain that the statements mentioned were taken seriously out of context, and that some were not public, thus not relevant to the case. And that we should play the 8 hours of recordings to understand the context.

He proceeds to invoke three expert witmesses who will testify that ESW speaks the truth:
Wafa Sultan,
Hans Jansen
Robert Spencer

10:53: The judge inquires if we are talking Islamic extremism or of Islam as such?

Elisabeth explains that we are talking Islam as such, as defined by its scripture, and quotes Erdogan that there is no moderate Islam anyway.

The judge accepts that we can play the tapes.

Then proceeds to ask about us being lied to 24 hours a day. Elisabeth explains the concept of Taqiyya. The judge says: ”That is your interpretation”, to which Elisabeth responds: ”No, this is the canonical interpretation”.

Next question is:Is Islam in a never-ending war with the West?”

Elisabeth refers to history and newspapers to document that, and that Jihad has at times been considered a pillar of Islam.

11:15: The ”burqa ghost” story is related.

Elisabeth took a photo of a woman in burqa in Meitlinger Hauptstrasse, Vienna, and told about this in her seminars. It is difficult to figure out why the public prosecutor finds this offensive, not to mention illegal. The defence asks about this. Elisabeth explains a few things about freedom for women – all women – to decide for themselves.

A reference is then made to debates at OSCE, where she discussed child molestation, and says: Christian cardinals molest children in conflict with their religion, Muslims in line with theirs. As background the marriage between Muhammad and Aisha is related, as documented by several Hadith authors.

Paedophilia is discussed, in light of Muhammad being the perfect example for Muslims, as stated in Quran 33:21. That means everything Muhammad ever did or said, which is in the hadith.

Elisabeth explains what the hadith collections are, how they constitute an indispensable part of Islam, due to 33:21 and similar suras. And emphasises that she is not making up statements, merely quoting canonical Islamic scripture.

Henrik Clausen: [Now apostacy – more later]

11:34: The Judge opens a discussion if we’re talking of ”All Muslims” here.

Elisabeth says no, for most Muslims do not know what is in the Quran, which is in a language (Arabic) they do not understand, and thus place their confidence in the imams for interpretations.

Judge: ”Is every Muslim a Jihadist?”

Elisabeth: ”No, not at all. But Jihad is an obligation for Muslims.”

Elisabeth: ”Converts, not cultural Muslims, are problematic.”

Elisabeth: ”This is about the teachings of Islam, not about Muslims.”

Judge: ”You said Mulisms in the seminars?”

Elisabeth: ”Yes, in context that is needed to understand the relevance of this.”

Judge: ”What percentage of Muslims are Jihadis?”

Elisabeth: ”I do not know. Not the majority. One promille is enough to be a problem, though”.

Then the quote about ”Islam is shit” is debated. Elisabeth points out that she was debating, using visual quotes, if it is legal or punishable to say ”Islam is shit”. Thus, what we are discussing here is the meta-question:

Is it illegal, or punishable, to debate the legality of saying: ”Islam is shit”?

Stoning 101; the anatomy of barbarism.

From The National Post

November 20, 2010 – 10:11 am

Graphic: Anatomy of a stoning

In Saturday’s National Post we look at the brutal practice of stoning. This method of execution is still practiced in certain countries, notably Iran, where it is used to punish adulterers and other criminals. The graphic below looks at how a stoning occurs (click on graphic for a full-size version):
