Israeli Doctors Help Sick in Maldives, Muslims Protest saying it is against Islam to have relations with Jews

The Islamic Foundation of the Maldives has called on the government to break off all diplomatic ties with Israel, a day after Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) announced that a team of seven Israeli doctors is due to arrive in the country to treat patients at the government hospital for a week.

The Foundation requested the government terminate all ties with Israel saying ”we do not want any sort of assistance from Jews.”

President of the Islamic Foundation Ibrahim Fauzy said that the organisation did not support accepting “any sort of assistance from Israel as long as they are in the lands of Palestine. We should fear that we might have to face the wrath of God.”

Fauzy explained that the Islamic Foundation does not recognise Israel as a state as “they have stolen the lands of Palestine by power and force,” adding that “it also against our religion to have relationships with Jews.” (bold added)

An interesting take on vandalism. (from Sept 19 2009)

A mosque in Montreal’s West Island has been hit by vandals five times, each time spray painting a number that refers to a Koranic verse that shows what Muslims actually preach and believe. I find this an interesting twist on vandalism. More typically, ‘hate literature is fiction and threatening. Usually it refers to books or quotes books about a group that actually had nothing to do with that group whatsoever, such as the oft used slurs from ‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’, a Russian forgery imitating a meeting where Jews conspire to take over the world.

It is interesting that in this case, people are spray painting a mosque with nothing except the chapter and verse of what their books actually do say, and what they actually do believe putting them in the position of doing damage control. I think this is still damage to private property however and should be treated with the same harshness that vandals typically get when they spray paint on public or private buildings.

Of course if these guys are caught, they will be charged with a hate crime when in fact, they are exposing a hate crime, not committing one. They are guilty of vandalism though. They should instead hold a bake sale and pay for a billboard next to the mosque putting all the relevant passages of Koran on it.

Vandals hit mosque for fourth time

A small mosque in the West Island has been covered in spray paint for the fourth time in a year.

This time the doors of Dorval Mosque were sprayed with graffiti that read “Koran 551,” a reference to a controversial passage in the Koran.

Mazar Khan, who attends the mosque, says the repeated targeting by vandals is difficult.

“It’s hurtful. It’s damaging to the sentiments of the people who attend the mosque, and also damaging to normal human beings,” said Khan.

In may, Federal Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney had strong words for the vandals when he visited the mosque.

“To come and violate their mosque, their place of worship is totally unacceptable and it’s un-Canadian. Whoever did this should be ashamed of themselves,” said Kenney on May 29.

Spraypainting Koran verses

Each time the vandals have hit the mosque, they refer to a different verse in the Koran.

The verse mentioned in this attack suggests that Muslims should not have relations with Jews or Christians, but Mosque president Mehmet Deger says the verse is being taken out of its historical context.

“They are trying to take us back 1500 years ago, these people. We do not agree with them. We have very peaceful relations with Jews and Christians,” said Deger.

Imam Ahmad Shafaat says mosque has spent $4,000 on the frequent graffiti removal.

“It’s bothering us a lot, and it’s costing us a lot,” said Shafaat.

To add further insult, this latest act of vandalism comes toward then end of the holy month of Ramadan.

On Sunday, muslim families will gather at the mosque to celebrate Eid, the festival that ends the month-long period of fasting.

“Just before our holiday they attacked, so they are trying their best to hurt us,” said Deger.

Willing to talk

But despite the graffiti, the mosque’s religious leader is still willing to sit down with the vandal.

Imam Shafaat says he would welcome the chance to discuss Islam.

“It is an act of violence that you’re doing. If there is some issue that you have, why not come forward and discuss it?

March in England Dec 15th against legal double standards.

I am so glad, the EDL is doing this. It is an abomination and an outrage that two standards and legal systems apply to the people of England and the fact is, when you add those systems together, you get Sharia for all.

This march, perhaps of all the marches the EDL have organized, is at least in my opinion the most important and moral one. In any given jurisdiction, there only ever can be one standard and set of laws. Anything else is slavery. If you can at all make it to join this march on Dec. 15th please do so. This is a crucial issue.

Herman Van Rompuy, the President of Europe, wants a new mechanism to enforce sanctions against member states which borrow too much. Fair enough, you might say: of the 27 member states, only three currently meet the EU’s debt and deficit rules (see here). What’s alarming is the mechanism Mr Van Rompuy intends to use:

Whenever possible, decision-making rules on sanctions should be more automatic and based on a reverse majority rule, implying a Commission proposal is adopted unless rejected by the Council.

French Defense League suggests community action

In this new video by the French Defence League, they suggest direct community action. I don’t know who these guys are but it’s always good to see people in Europe actually doing something to remind the political elites that their plans for an utter and complete transformation of their culture, people and lifestyles cannot be accomplished without at least some token opposition.

Perhaps doubly so given the contents of this story.

Of the top 100 most wanted by French Law enforcement, only 7 have French names.

It is obvious by now that the Christians in the Middle East are an “endangered species.”

Christians in Arab countries are no longer being persecuted; they are now being slaughtered and driven out of their homes and lands.

Those who for many years turned a blind eye to complaints about the persecution of Christians in the Middle East now owe the victims an apology. Now it is clear to all that these complaints were not “Jewish propaganda.”

The war of genocide against Christians in the Middle East can no longer be treated as an “internal affair” of Iraq or Egypt or the Palestinians. What the West needs to understand is that radical Islam has declared jihad not only against Jews, but also against Christians. Continue Reading →

Not before time...Not before time…

Since 2001, opinion polls have registered a majority against EU membership. Yet, until yesterday, not a single national newspaper, nor any of the parties represented in the House of Commons, took this view: ultimate proof of this blog’s obsessive contention that people are wiser than their leaders.

It depends on precisely how you ask the question but, excluding the don’t knows, some 55 per cent of Britons would vote to leave the EU tomorrow . But their opinion is shared by just 2 per cent of their MPs – less than one per cent if we exclude the Ulster parties.

Today, the first national newspaper added its voice to the chorus. And what a melodic voice. In a front-page editorial, The Daily Express makes the case in largely economic terms, and in internationalist language:

Taking Britain out of the EU should not be seen as a move to “Little Englandism”. On the contrary, ours is a great trading nation with markets all over the world. The time has come to develop our neglected trading links with the new global powerhouses such as China and India.

Quite. We Eurosceptics love Europe: we know its cultures, speak its languages, admire its nations, cheer their patriotisms. We simply recognise that there is a wider world out there: a world that is growing while the EU is shrinking.

I contributed a short article to the Express, pointing out the economic disadvantages of membership. For me, the clinching statistics are those produced by the European Commission itself. Benefits of the single market: €120 billion a year. Cost of EU regulation: €600 billion a year. Go figure.

What polygamy looks like from the inside

When lawyers talk about the harms of polygamy, there’s scarcely one that Kathleen and Rena Mackert haven’t personally endured. The sisters have had front-row seats in B.C. Supreme Court for the opening week of the constitutional reference case to determine whether Canada’s anti-polygamy law is valid.

“It’s a redemption to feel that we can make a difference,” Kathleen said during the Tuesday afternoon break. “To go through all the abuse we endured for most of our lives and turn it around for future generations is very redemptive.”

Rena agrees and says it’s also part of her long healing process.

Both are witnesses for the B.C. attorney-general, who has filed their video affidavits as evidence.

Both support Stop Polygamy in Canada and run a non-profit in Anacortes, Wash., that helps victims of domestic violence and polygamy.

The sisters are seventh-generation polygamists. Their ancestors have practised polygamy since soon after Joseph Smith had his revelation.

Their father had four wives, 27 children and four step-children. Their mother was his third wife and she had seven children. Rena is one of her older children and she was born in a chicken coop near the Utah-Arizona border.

That’s where their mother lived and was grateful for a place of her own, even if it was unheated and had no running water or electricity.

Rena says her father began molesting her when she was three.

People of England, burn a koran for freedom.

British people are being arrested for legally disposing of their own personal property because it is offensive to 7th century barbarians. Barbarians it is to be remembered, who routinely preach hatred and destruction not only of Western and specifically British symbols, but also frequently attempt to murder random people and occasionally succeed at it, in the cause of furthering the total destruction of England, it’s culture and even its history. Now a teenage girl is arrested for protesting these actions (presumably but it hardly matters why) by burning the source of inspiration to these invaders. This is no different than burning a copy of Meine Kampf during the bombing of London to show contempt for Hitler’s hate mongering, the inspiration for WW2.

I ask you good people of England. Show support for this young girl and for freedom from the leftist-Islamic axis of tyranny you now know you are under, and burn a Koran for freedom soon. Here is one way you can do it. Make a candle out of it. Then you can give candles to all your friends with Koran inside.

    The 15-year-old was questioned and bailed by detectives last Friday after the alleged incident at a school in the Sandwell area of the West Midlands.

    She is alleged to have posted footage of the act on Facebook.

    A 14-year-old boy was also arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of making threats on the social networking site in connection with the alleged incident. He was released on bail, a spokeswoman for West Midlands police said.

    “The local neighbourhood team have strong links with the school and have been working closely with key partners from the community and the local authority to resolve the matter locally,” she said.

    “West Midlands police will investigate and monitor any crime reported by individuals who may have been targeted because of their disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation or transgender.”

A noise from a door in the stairwell caused them to run out and down the stairs, while one shouted ‘Yahood’ (Arabic: Jew).

UK Students riot, destroy property to force other people to pay for what they want.

Calm is being restored in central London after a day of violent protests. Thousands of students took to the streets to demonstrate against government plans to increase university tuition fees and slash teaching budgets. The widespread unrest saw missiles being hurled at police, windows smashed at Whitehall and several people injured. Authorities say over 30 arrests were made for criminal damage and public disorder. School and university students engaged in local rallies across the UK.

Back in the day, a way of calling someone stupid, was to say they ‘could not tell sh*t from shinola’, which was a popular brand of brown shoe polish. The expression clearly referred to a persons inability to discriminate things that are in their own interest, in this case, likely to rub feces on their shoes.

Our entire culture now has made the act of discrimination a bad thing making the following, and hugely avoidable story commonplace.

‘Burkha’ man in shop raid gang

A GANG led by a man dressed in traditional Islamic clothing stole thousands of pounds worth of jewellery in a raid.

The robbers struck at the Jadee Jewellers store in Rochdale Road, Bury, at about 4.30pm on Monday.

The man approached the shop dressed in a burkha and hijab and, believing he was a legitimate customer, the owner opened the shop door.

At this point, four other members of the gang burst through the open door brandishing a silver metal hammer and a baseball bat, while the man in the Islamic clothing wielded a machete. Continue Reading →
