Sharia or, well, you know, ‘law’?

The US seems to be slipping into using the machinery of state to enforce the sharia more and more these days.

This is one trial I would like to watch. Try and wrap your heads around the wording of the charge as they list it. Last time I looked, “desecration of a Koran” is not a crime in the U.S of A.

$10,000 Reward In Koran Burning Case

The East Lansing Police Department is seeking the publics help to find who is responsible for burning and desecrating a Koran. The incident happened on September 11. It was found at the front door of the Islamic Center of East Lansing.

The department is offering $10,000 for any information that would lead to the identification and prosecution of those responsible for this act.

Those with information are asked to call Det. Sherief Fadly at 517-319-6814.

City plans to bill pastor for security around planned Quran burning

A deeply disturbing development. Now, governments can bill citizens for costs incurred defending their constitutional rights as a way of disposing of those same rights. I do not see them billing any of the people making threats to break the law.

As I see it, there is only one answer to this. All of us need to burn Korans as publicly as possible, where you are not breaking any fire laws or litter etc. The more of us that do it, the less the Muslims and leftists and Obama can do about it. Freedom is something we all have to fight for continually. I need to know, are people still willing to do it? Or have people been tricked into thinking that somehow, its a Nazi thing to burn a Koran. One you bought or are otherwise in legal possession of, and wish to make a political or moral statement with. This story frightens me more than anything I have read in a while. Orlando, Florida (CNN) — The city of Gainesville, Florida, plans to send a bill estimated at more than $180,000 to Pastor Terry Jones for security costs surrounding his controversial threat to burn Qurans on the anniversary of the September, 11, 2001, attacks, a police spokeswoman said Friday.

Police agencies spent more than a month working on security plans to ensure the community surrounding Jones’ Dove World Outreach Center — the planned site of the burning — was safe, according to Gainesville police spokeswoman Cpl. Tscharna Senn.

Jones also told authorities he received numerous death threats because of the planned protest, which he called off amid increasing pressure from world leaders.

The Gainesville Police Department said it spent more than $100,000 while the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office spent an estimated $80,000 during the weekend of the planned demonstration.

“We have 286 sworn officers and almost everyone was working either at the Dove Center or at other soft targets,” Senn said. “Unless you were sick or injured you were working” the day the burning was to take place.

Officers secured malls in the region, the University of Florida’s football stadium and areas around the church in the days leading up to the planned event.

Jones said Friday that the church was “not aware that we would be billed for security.”

“If we had known this in advance, then we would have refused to have security,” he said. Continue Reading →

Islam’s hypocricy is stunning.

After you read this ISESCO report, please stop and think for a moment about what Islam and Muslims do to and about every other religion on earth. Hell by their own rules the Koran should be destroyed for what it says about Judaism, Christianity etc. not to mention the fact that every other religion is actually illegal in Saudi Arabia.

In a communiqué released today, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) called on the United Nations to issue an international law criminalizing all forms of offence against religions under any circumstances.

ISESCO insisted, “The Florida Dove World Outreach Centre Church’s plan to burn copies of the Holy Koran on September 11 was condemned by church authorities, Christian and Jewish clergy, the European Commission, the US government and the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue, and sparked international protest by Muslims from all over the world. This requires immediate action to outlaw all acts of defamation of religions and religious sanctities.”

The communiqué goes on, “It is a blot on humanity that such discriminatory attack against Islam and Islamic holy sites is continuing in the absence of deterrent legal measures, local and international.”

ISESCO denounced roundly the Dove World Outreach Centre Church’s criminal plan, and called on the Muslim community to abide by the noble values of Islam in responding to such provocative, hostile stance. The best response thereto, ISESCO explained, would be to help spread the core Islamic principles, and redress the distorted image and misconceptions about Islam.

Rome, 17 Sept. (AKI) – Italy’s anti-immigrant North League party on Friday introduced a bill to the lower house of parliament that would ban the burqa. Wearing the burqa will be punishable by a year in prison, fines of 150 to 300 euros for the wearer and 30,000 euros for anyone forcing a woman to don the face-concealing Islamic garment.

Anyone coercing a minor or a disabled woman into wearing a burqa will be eligible for a 60,000 euro fine.

If a woman is wearing the burqa of her own volition, the 150-300 euro fine can be reduced, if she agrees to do community service aimed at better integrating Muslim immigrants.

“This bill represents a step forward because we are not just facing a problem of public order, but – we believe – an offence to women’s dignity,” said Northern League member of parliament Carolina Lussana, presenting the bill to journalists.

“It is also a violation of the principle of equality between men and women enshrined in our Constitution,” she said.

The bill is likely to draw criticism from many Muslim immigrants, but 73 percent of Italians believe the burqa should not be allowed to be worn in public places, according to a recent poll by Panel Data.

The right-leaning Northern League’s bill came just days after France’s upper house of parliament, the Senate, voted by 246 to one to ban the burqa.

Under the new French law, women will be fined or jailed for covering their faces in public.

LONDON—The head of Britain’s domestic spy agency warned Friday that the U.K. faces potent new threats from terrorism incubated in Northern Ireland, the Middle East and North Africa.

Jonathan Evans, director-general of MI5, the country’s domestic intelligence service, said in a rare public speech that attacks on the U.K. are increasingly likely to emanate from Somalia, Yemen or Belfast, as Al Qaeda-linked groups flee strongholds in Pakistan.

The spy chief said the 2012 London Olympic Games will likely be a major target for terrorist attacks, and warned that dissidents who reject Northern Ireland’s peace process could strike mainland British cities for the first time since 2001.

Evans said Irish republican splinter groups have access to weapons, including Semtex explosives, and funds from smuggling and drug trafficking.

“We cannot exclude the possibility that they might seek to extend their attacks to Great Britain, as violent republican groups have traditionally done,” Evans said, making a speech late Thursday to security industry professionals in central London. Details of the speech were made public Friday.

While security officials have improved defences against the threat from Islamic extremism, Evans said Al Qaeda plots against Britain are “uncovered on a fairly regular basis,” with officers dealing with a handful of different cases at any one time. Continue Reading →

The SD party appears to be about to make it into the Swedish Government for the first time in this coming election. Protester who burned pages of Koran at Ground Zero mosque site is sacked from his job

A protester who burned pages of the Koran outside the site of the planned mosque near Ground Zero has been sacked from his job as a train conductor.

Derek Fenton, 39, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, was photographed ripping up pages from the Muslim holy book and setting them alight on September 11.

He was removed from outside Park51, the site where the controversial mosque could be built, by police but was later released without charge.

But it now appears his former employer NJ Transit has taken more drastic action after confirming he had been dismissed.

A statement from the company said: ‘Mr Fenton’s public actions violated New Jersey Transit’s code of ethics.

‘NJ Transit concluded that Mr Fenton violated his trust as a state employee and there he was dismissed.’

Mr Fenton was allegedly inspired to carry out the act by Reverend Terry Jones, the Florida clergyman who sparked international protests when he threatened to stage a Koran burning day on the ninth anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

A police source told the New York Daily News: ‘He said “this is America” and he wanted to stand up for it, in a Tea Party kind of way.’

Another police source said he described himself as exercising his ‘right to protest’.

Mr Fenton was an assistant train-consist coordinator – which entails ensuring there are enough train cars positioned to be put into service.

New Jersey Transit did not give specifics behind why he was dismissed.

But if he was sacked because of his actions, he could be protected by his First Amendment rights, according to the New York Civil Liberties Union.

Chris Dunn, from the union, said: ‘The Supreme Court has recognised a constitutional right to burn the flag.

‘As reprehensible as it may be, burning the Koran would be protected as well.’

French Senate passes ban of full Muslim veils

PARIS – The French Senate has voted overwhelmingly for a bill banning the burqa-style Islamic veil everywhere from post offices to streets, in a final step toward a making it law.

The Senate voted 246 to 1 Tuesday in favor of the bill, which has already passed in the lower chamber, the National Assembly.

Any dissenters have 10 days to challenge the measure in the Constitutional Council watchdog, but that is considered unlikely.

As we see in the STRATFOR report I posted earlier tonight, thousands of angry Muslims are demonstrating in Afghanistan and elsewhere, burning down buildings and causing death and injury over a planned and cancelled KORAN-B-Q. The man who planned this non-event was a nobody pastor of a congregation which as I read it, consists of about 50 people.

So my plan is, every day someone announces a new action that gets the Muslims rioting till they learn the lesson of the Catholic Church.

‘Do nothing, and they soon stop bothering you’

Or, they don’t stop and eventually ruin all their own stuff. Either way we win. They become civilized and learn to make their religion personal, and not shove it in everyones face and take an insult to it in stride like everyone else or, they trash all their buildings and burn themselves out with rage.

As usual it is our own political correctness and appeasement which is causing our own defeat and not any real action on the part of Muslims. This pastor really did make a great point and he didnt even have to waste a match doing it. His mere threat to burn a few hate filled books got more media attention and attention from world leaders than the real burning of actual Christian human-beings in Muslim nations that takes place nearly every day. Or the slaves taken by Muslims. Or the near constant terror and killing spree.

Perhaps in this one instance Nancy Reagan was correct.

Nearly a fifth of Germans would vote for a political protest party headed by Thilo Sarrazin, a poll revealed on Sunday, as mainstream politicians argue about how best to react to his statements on Muslims, immigration and Jews.

The survey, conducted by Emnid pollsters for the Bild am Sonntag newspaper, showed that 18 percent of Germans would vote for a political party headed by the Bundesbank board member.

He has created a furore in Germany with assertions about Muslim immigrants to Germany failing to integrate, and what he insists is a genetic element to intelligence – and the astounding proposal that people of a common religion are genetically related.

His theory is that genetically stupid immigrants are making Germany increasingly stupid as they are multiplying faster than Germans – and refusing to integrate into German society. Continue Reading →
