Slavery and Islam
There has been some discussion recently in the comments, largely objecting to the fact that I pointed out the Islamic observance of the Vancouver Muslim woman who was busted keeping a slave in her multi-million dollar West-Van home. It was pointed out that there are many East Asians who are not Muslim that also think nothing of keeping another human being as a beast of burden in the home, torturing at will and denying basic liberties while enjoying all the best Canada has to offer.
Some of the people who pointed this out are good friends of this site. However I must point out that there is a difference between policy and the exception. Between what is celebrated, and what is a crime. For example, pedophiles certainly exist in the Catholic church and in the greater Western community no matter what their affiliation. But we call them criminals and do everything we can to make sure they are brought to justice while in Islam, one looks at the founder, ‘Mohamed’ as the “perfect human being” and follow his examples as divinely inspired and so marrying a 6 year old and having any sort of sex you want except penetrative of the vagina till she is 9, then anything goes is considered good policy. So again, exception, rule.
I thought this might be a good time to post a few of my older videos that went offline and need to be made available again on the subject of slavery, doubly so as I was also asked to do so in email.
Here is the first one. More will appear in this post as I manage to get them ready. Come back and check from time to time if this is a subject that interests you.

WEST VANCOUVER — A West Vancouver woman has been charged with human trafficking in connection with a case in which a young woman was allegedly brought over from Africa and forced to work in demeaning and slave-like conditions in a lavish West Vancouver home.
Mumtaz Ladha, 55, is wanted on a warrant for hiring the 21-year-old African woman, police said Monday afternoon.

A West Vancouver woman accused of keeping a 21-year-old African woman in slave-like conditions in her mansion will appear in court Aug. 10 after her arrest last month.
RCMP said Thursday they arrested Mumtaz Ladha, 55, on July 19 when she arrived at Vancouver International Airport from an African country.
Ladha faces one charge of human trafficking and one charge of human smuggling after the 21-year-old alleged she had been confined to Ladha’s British Properties home and was forced to work 18 hours a day, seven days a week with no pay.
After Ladha was arrested, she was released the same day on a promise to appear in Vancouver Provincial Court this month.
RCMP spokeswoman Cpl. Annie Linteau said Ladha came back of her own accord “knowing full well that she would be arrested when she arrived here.”
Ladha allegedly hired her accuser to work in a Vancouver-area hair salon in the summer of 2008, but when the woman arrived in Canada, her passport was taken away and she was forced into demeaning servitude, RCMP said.
This reportedly included hand-washing the underwear of everyone in the house, hand-washing the cars of guests, and eating table scraps to survive.
RCMP said she was only allowed to sleep once everyone else in the house had gone to bed.
The woman escaped to a woman’s shelter in June 2009, where she received immediate assistance and the RCMP were notified.
The home where she was kept is a three-storey mansion with an indoor pool and outdoor basketball court valued at $3.1 million, according to a 2011 BC Assessment report.
On Thursday, Elizabeth Empetin, 51, answered the phone and identified herself as Ladha’s Filipino live-in caregiver.
Empetin said she has worked for the family since November of last year, but the Ladhas have not lived in the house during that time and she had not heard from either Mumtaz Ladha or her husband for several months.
Empetin said she had no knowledge of the 21-year-old and her alleged mistreatment.
Empetin said she has been treated well and receives her salary on time.
She said she has had no physical contact with the Ladhas, but was hired through an agency and has her salary deposited directly into her bank account every month.
Both charges faced by Ladha carry severe penalties.
Human smuggling alone carries a maximum fine of $500,000 and a 10-year prison sentence for a first offence.
This is only the second time a B.C. resident has faced a human trafficking charge.
Linteau could not say which African nation the 21-year-old hailed from or Ladha fled to.

Dutch department of Al Qaeda rent Brabanthallen for a big Islamic demonstration

Dutch chapter of Al Qaeda rented Brabanthallen for a big Islamic convention.On Sunday the 6th of June a Salafist congress took place in the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. The main guest at this happening was “the noble great scholar Sheikh Abu Ishaq al-Hoeweyni”.
This sheikh is a prominent member of “Jama’a al-Islamiya’ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Gama%27a_al-Islamiyya), one of al Qaeda’s affiliated organizations.
Three weeks ago (June 11th), there was an item in the news (and video) about an Egyptian Sheikh Hoeweyni, who made de following statements:
We are in the era of jihad. The era of Jihad Has Come to us and jihad in the path of Allah is a pleasure. It’s a real pleasure. The companions (of the Prophet) used to compete to (perform jihad). That we are in poverty — is it not due to our Abandonment or jihad? But if we could conduct one, two, or three jihadist operations every year, many people would become Muslims Throughout the earth. And whoever rejected this da’wa, or stood in our way, we would fight against him and take him prisoner, and confiscate his wealth, his children, and his women — all of this MEANS money. Every mujahid who returned from jihad, his pockets would be full. He would return with three or four slaves, three or four women, and 3 or 4 children. Each head Multiply by 300 dirhams, or 300 dinars, and you have a good amount of profit. If he were to go to the West and work on a commercial deal, he would not make that much money. Whenever things became difficult (financially), he could take the head (i.e. the prisoner) and sell it, and ease his (financial) crisis.
Huwaini actually made these scandalous assertions some eighteen years ago. But because they were only recently exposed, and he was invited to “clarify” his position on Hikma TV last week. Amazingly, though he began by saying his words were “taken out of context,” he nonetheless reasserted, in even more blunt language, that Islam justifies plundering, enslaving, and raping the infidel. (Al Youm 7 has the entire interview, excerpts of which I translate below.)
According to Huwaini, after Muslims invade and conquer a non-Muslim nation—in the course of waging an offensive jihad—the properties and persons of those infidels who refuse to convert or pay jizya and live as subjugated dhimmis are to be seized as ghanima or “spoils of war.”
Huwaini cited the Koran as his authority — boasting that it has an entire chapter named “spoils” — and the sunna of Muhammad, specifically as recorded in the famous Sahih Muslim hadith wherein the prophet ordered the Muslim armies to offer non-Muslims three choices: conversion, subjugation, or death/enslavement. If there is one thing Baroness Caroline Cox is not afraid of it is whipping up controversy. For almost three decades the Christian peer has sat in the House of Lords campaigning on one obscure issue to another, desperately trying to alert Britain’s political elite to some of the world’s forgotten conflicts. Nagorno-Karabakh, southern Sudan, Burma, Nigeria: If there is an ignored conflict – particularly one in which Christians are facing persecution – you can bet the 73-year-old will have been there.
“I seem to spend half my life in a jungle, a desert or half way up a mountain,” she says, explaining her return from Burma, which she entered illegally to report on rights abuses against minority tribes. She will soon travel back to Sudan, which is lurching back towards civil war.
She often enters war zones under fire – no one could deny that Baroness Cox is brave. But the tactics she uses often raise eyebrows. In the 1990s, she infuriated anti-slavery groups when she began travelling into Sudan to buy slaves from Arab traders with money raised by evangelical churches.
By her own reckoning she spent somewhere in the region of £100,000 freeing more than 2,000 slaves during 55 trips to Sudan – one of the few countries at the time where slavery was still openly practised, often with deliberate government backing. Continue Reading →
Egyptian Shaykh: ‘When I Want A Sex Slave, I Just Go To The Market And Choose The Woman Like And Purchase Her’
A few days ago, I read a story about some Muslim who wanted to bring back the old Islamic sex-slave markets of old. I decided not to blog it then, as you know, it isn’t reasonable to blog every stupid thing that every Muslim says as ‘representing’. What I deemed as genuine statements of belief, culture and intentions were certainly bad enough to warrant any action needed in defense of civilization and liberalism. Then I saw this story at Big Peace and it left me with basically, just one word.

Meanwhile, a woman Muslim thinks that institutionalized sex slavery should be brought back into Islam. Just when you think it can’t get any more counter intuitive or disgusting, you get something like this. No matter so many people, Walid Shoebat among them, think Islam is from Satan and Mohamed wrote the book under demonic influence. If one accepts the supernatural, then it follows. If one does not, then Islam is a classic example of game theory and extreme competition. Either way the results are the same.

Most Islamists prefer to avoid the subject of slavery, which is explicitly permitted in the Koran, but Salafis endorse this practice. Ali Al-Ahmed of the dissident Saudi Information Agency reports today that a prominent Saudi religious authority recently called for slavery to be re-legalized in the kingdom. Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, the author of a religious textbook (At-Tawhid, “Monotheism”) widely used to teach Saudi high school students as well as their counterparts abroad studying in Saudi schools (including those in the West), announced in a recent lecture that “Slavery is a part of Islam. Slavery is part of jihad, and jihad will remain as long there is Islam.” He argued against the idea that slavery had ever been abolished, insulting those who espouse this view as “ignorant, not scholars. They are merely writers. Whoever says such things is an infidel.”
Al-Fawzan is no maverick. He is:
- A member of the Senior Council of Clerics, Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body;
- A member of the Council of Religious Edicts and Research;
- Imam of the Prince Mitaeb Mosque in Riyadh; and
- Professor at Imam Mohamed Bin Saud Islamic University, the main Wahhabi center of learning.
That such a viewpoint can be asserted by a card-carrying member of the Saudi religious establishment offers a tragic commentary on the state of Islamic discourse today. (November 7, 2003)

May 31, 2011 update: An Egyptian sheikh, Abu Ishaq al-Huwaini (also spelled Abo Ishaq Alheweny) wants to apply the Shar’i code of spoils of war, including the taking of slaves. Raymond Ibrahim explains in “Raped and Ransacked in the Muslim World”:
According to Huwaini, after Muslims invade and conquer a non-Muslim nation—in the course of waging an offensive jihad—the properties and persons of those infidels who refuse to convert or pay jizya and live as subjugated dhimmis, are to be seized as ghanima or “spoils of war.” … Huwaini said that infidel captives, the “spoils of war,” are to be distributed among the Muslim combatants (i.e., jihadists) and taken to “the slave market, where slave-girls and concubines are sold.”

Now where have we heard about these sort of cases before? What country has the woman fled to? Who is the woman being charged and where is she from?
Why Would I Care About The Ivory Coast?
What does the Ivory Coast have to do with the EDL: what does mass Muslim immigration and subversion of democracy have to do with a civil war?
Here’s another example of the mainstream media completely hiding the real reasons for a conflict from the masses. I could be kind and say they’re just stupid, or I could be correct and say they’re terrified of what will happen when people know the truth. If you knew that the Ivory Coast in 1957 had about a 20% Muslim population and that today it is over 50%. If you then knew that the supposedly democratically elected new leader is Muslim while the old one is Christian, do you think those facts might be important? Have you heard that on the BBC?
And if anyone can find any mention of the Islam vs Christianity element of this civil war on the BBC, do let us know.

Madagascar flies home maids abused in Lebanon
ANTANANARIVO (AFP) – Madagascar’s government early Thursday flew home 86 women domestic workers from Lebanon who had been subjected to abuse, amid concerns over the deaths of 17 Madagascan maids in the past year.
Most of the women “had run away from their employers,” said Population Minister Nadine Ramaroson as she welcomed them at Antananarivo airport.
“Their return home was negotiated by the Madagascan consul in Lebanon after either the women themselves or their families asked for them to be repatriated,” Ramaroson said.
The government decided to charter a plane after numerous cases of abuse were reported. The Population Ministry received more than 600 repatriation requests from maids or their families.
The Union of Qualified Domestic Workers (SPDTS), an non-governmental organisation that helps the victims and their families, says that in the past year alone 17 Madagascan maids in Lebanon died from abuse suffered at the hands of their employers.
“There have been a lot of deaths,” Prime Minister Camille Vital said. “That’s why the government has decided to repatriate those who wanted to come home. The government is paying for this rapatriation.”
On their arrival at the airport the young women were met by social workers from SPDTS and by staff from different ministries tasked with providing medical care and counselling.
“My boss used to hit me and didn’t give me my salary. I’m very, very happy to be back home,” said 25-year-old Leonie.
Another woman who gave her name as Augustine said: “The friend with whom I ran away from my boss wasn’t able to get on the plane at the last minute. I’m really worried about her. She’s not in good shape.”
More than 7,000 Madagascans work in Lebanon, according to SPDTS. In 2010 around 500 of them came home before the end of their contract.
