“If you do not return to Islam, we kill you,”

Please click over to Jihad Watch for this heartbreaking and increasingly common story.
It would be a worthy project I think for a cartographer/geographer to create a map showing the past say, 20 years, frequency and location of violence done to converts away from Islam (apostates) by Muslims as well as violence done to Muslims who do not obey one or another tenant of Islam. The fact that this happened in Norway should be of extra concern. Meanwhile, genuine human rights activists who only work for individual liberty and a safe and free society remain in hiding from mostly leftists, who claim to want the same things.
Two Iranian women risk death for apostasy from Islam
From ASIA NEWS:
Arrested in March, their conversion goes back at least a decade. So far, no one has been executed on such grounds in Iran, but the authorities are afraid of the expansion of Christianity. And, in a recent raid, they seized 6,500 Bibles.
Tehran (AsiaNews/Agencies) – Two Iranian women jailed in Iran’s notorious Evin prison for converting from Islam to Christianity may be executed for apostasy, Radio Farda reported. Amir Javadzadeh, a broadcaster for a London-based Christian radio station, said that the two women could be put to death even though “they were not politically active at all.” They “just wanted to serve people according to the Bible,” he said.
Marzieh Amirizadeh, 30, and Maryam Rustampoor, 27, were arrested in March, although they had “converted to Christianity about 10 years ago,” Javadzadeh said. They became Christians after “spending a lot of time studying the religion and helping others,” he added.

Family of albino Muslims terrorised after one of them marries a Christian man
The Daily Mail
Last updated at 12:20 PM on 4th August 2011
A family of albino Muslims are being terrorised by bigots because their daughter married a man from another religion.
The so-called ‘honour’ retribution has included smashed windows at their Coventry home, vandalised cars and death threats.
Now, head of the family Aslam Parvez has made a plea to the culprits to end the hatred.
Terrifying: The family have faced hatred after it was revealed a member had married a Christian man. Pictured from left to right (back) Ghulam Ali, Haider Ali and Mohammed Rafi and front Shameem and Aslam Pavez
‘We’re a good family and have done nothing wrong yet we’re being punished in the name of honour,’ he said.
Aslam Parvez, 53, blames members of the Muslim community who believe the family have been dishonoured by his daughter’s marriage.
The hate campaign started five months ago when a national magazine published an article on albinos which featured Naseem, who no longer lives in Coventry and has little contact with her family.
It revealed how she has married a Christian, goes to church and is expecting her second child with her husband.
Moved away: Daughter Naseem Akhtar married a Christian and spoke about her life in a magazine
Mr Parvez says copies of the article were quickly spread maliciously, and were posted on walls near their house and through the doors of Muslim homes in the community.
Mr Parvez says he has received numerous death threats and has spent hundreds of pounds installing security cameras around his house.
He has now stopped going to mosque and says he may be forced to flee the city with his wife Shameem Akhtar, 55, three sons Mohammed, 17, Haider, 28, Gulam, 30, and daughters Muqadas, 26 and Musarat, 19. Continue Reading →
Moderate Malaysia arrests apostates and people who may tempt Muslims to think something else.
I have had this tab open for a few days waiting for a chance to read the article and watch the video in it. The video, which I redid because it had about 40 seconds of test pattern and whistle before it, shows how even the nation touted as an example of how miscible Islam can be with the rest of the world, in fact jails people for “long periods of time” for converting people away from Islam. The article on this cult is here.
Iranian man to die for ‘apostasy’
Apostasy, the very definition of a victimless crime from an individualists point of view, in Iran, a capitol offense.

Follow-up Report: Yosef Nadarkhani’s Death Penalty for Apostasy
Translated by Laleh Gillani
HRANA News Agency – According to the latest unconfirmed reports, Iranian Supreme Court has found deficiencies and flaws in the case related to Yosef Nadarkhani’s death penalty on charges of apostasy. Family members close to Yosef Nadarkhani have reported that Iranian Supreme Court’s opinion includes three options:
- The case may be returned to the lower court for re-examination.
- Previous charges may be withdrawn while new charges are filed.
- The case may be closed, and charges dropped.
Since the ruling by Iranian Supreme Court hasn’t officially been delivered to Yosef Nadarkhani’s attorneys, they were unable to confirm the details reported by his family. Verbal information given to the defendant and family members indicates that citing article 167 of Iranian Constitution, Gilan Province Court, Branch 11, intends to question the defendant again in order to determine whether he believes in Islam or not. If he is a Muslim, Yosef Nadarkhani must be released. If it is determined that he is a Christian, he may repent from his faith. Otherwise, if he insists on his beliefs, the death penalty must be carried out, and Yosef Nadarkhani will be executed. Continue Reading →

Another Afghan sentenced to death for converting to Christianity.
Exactly why are good Canadian men and women fighting, being horribly injured and being killed for this government in Afghanistan please?
The story below is wrong in oh so many ways. But I am sniffing up the trail of one, as I understand it, much much worse than this even and of much more immediate concern to Canadians. Meanwhile, this from the Daily Mail:
One-legged Afghan Red Cross worker set to be hanged after converting to Christianity
By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 12:03 AM on 7th February 2011An Afghan physiotherapist will be executed within three days for converting to Christianity.
Said Musa, 45, has been held for eight months in a Kabul prison were he claims he has been tortured and sexually abused by inmates and guards.
Mr Musa, who lost his left leg in a landmine explosion in the 1990s, has worked for the Red Cross for 15 years and helps to treat fellow amputees.

He was arrested in May last year as he attempted to seek asylum at the German embassy following a crackdown on Christians within Afghanistan.
He claims he was visited by a judge who told him he would be hanged within days unless he converted back to Islam.
But he remains defiant and said he would be willing to die for his faith.
He told the Sunday Times: ‘My body is theirs to do what they want with.
‘Only God can decide if my spirit goes to hell.’
Defence lawyers have refused to represent him, while others have dropped the case after receiving death threats.
Mr Musa was arrested after a TV station showed western men baptising Afghans during secret ceremonies.

The red cross, abandoning its own employee because he is Christian in Afghanistan. Where is the moral high ground now Red Cross? The time for Canada to stop wasting one more penny or drop of blood in that Taliban Vs. Kharazai, Tweedle Dee Vs. Tweedle Dumb nightmare may be here. I suggest it might be more prudent to defend ourselves from this ideology from infecting us rather than fight to preserve it half way around the world. The barbarians are no longer at the gates. They are building prayer rooms in our schools. And we are paying for them.

Two Afghan converts to Christianity risk the death penalty
ASIANEWS.IT
The two men have been in jail since June waiting for trial. A local TV station showed Afghans reciting Christian prayers and being baptised. Afghan law bans conversion from Islam to any other religion. Fr Moretti, in charge of the country’s onlyCatholic church, is interviewed about the matter.
Kabul (AsiaNews) – Two Afghans accused of converting to Christianity could face the death penalty, a prosecuting lawyer said on Sunday. Musa Sayed, 45, and Ahmad Shah, 50, are being detained in the Afghan capital awaiting trial, the prosecutor in charge of western Kabul, Din Mohammad Quraishi, said.
“They are accused of conversion to another religion, which is considered a crime under Islamic law. If proved, they face the death penalty or life imprisonment,” Quraishi said. Sayed, a Red Cross (ICRC) employee, has already confessed. There is also “proof” against Shah, Quraishi explained.
Sayed and Shah were arrested in late May and early June, days after local television broadcast footage of men reciting Christian prayers in Farsi and being baptised, apparently in a house in Kabul. The TV station also showed some people engaged in proselytising, which is banned in the Muslim country.
The ICRC’s spokesman in Kabul, Bijan Frederic Farnoudi, confirmed that Sayed worked for the organisation since 1995. He also said that he was able to visit him in prison.
The government launched its own investigation into the matter and suspended two aid groups, Norwegian Church Aid (a Protestant organisation) and Church World Service of the US (which includes Protestants, Orthodox and Anglicans), after the TV station reported two of their members were proselytising.
The Afghan constitution, adopted after the fall of the Islamic Taliban in late 2001, forbids conversion to another religion from Islam and in theory can sentence those found guilty to death. However, no one has been executed in recent years for converting.
Fr Giuseppe Moretti, parish priest at the only Catholic church in Afghanistan, a chapel inside the Italian Embassy in Kabul, told AsiaNews that he knew nothing about the affair. He was certain that they did not convert to Catholicism.
“No one in the country was baptised by a Catholic priest because proselytising is banned by law,” he said.
“The Catholic Church has been present in the country since 1923 with a mandate to take care of members of the international Catholic community living here. It has always respected that [principle] to the letter.”
As for the anti-conversion law, Fr Moretti has nothing to add, except to reiterate that the Catholic community has always respected it.
“The Little Sisters of Jesus of Charles de Foucault, the Sisters of Mother Teresa and the Sisters of the Interreligious Community are present here, and they too respect the ban. We bear witness to our faith through our commitment and our lives,” he said.

From Liberties Alliance:
The man from the MCB, who chimes in around 08:30 in the video, seems to be indulging in the the Islamic practice of taqqiya when he talks about ‘no compulsion in religion’ – he was quoting sura 2:256, but look at sura 3:85, and sura 8:39 – see Winds of Jihad for coverage of this issue. Furthermore, how does he explain the ‘Ridda Wars’ that were conducted, against people who did not want to continue to be Muslims, by Mohammed’s immediate successor Abu Bakr? Did Abu Bakr, the first of the ‘al-Khulaf?’u r-R?shid?n’ (Rightly Guided Caliphs) somehow misunderstand the religion that he was propagating? Pull the other one, it has bells on it! Perhaps these ‘rightly guided’ caliphs were not so rightly guided after all if they managed to get such basic things wrong, if so then the whole Islamic religion is built on very wobbly foundations indeed. It appears that the spokesmen for the Muslim Council of Britain take us for fools and idiots.
