Quite frequently here at Vlad, we point out how Euro-News appears to be a Soros type propaganda outlet, outright faking and misrepresenting events to a clearly leftist and pro-Islamic agenda.
One of my favourite examples, but by no means the only one, is this example of how they totally misrepresented the Pope’s visit to CAR.

This post is on how Euronews misrepresented the Hungarian referendum.
Now some interesting news on how their own staff journalists are explaining Euronews.
Euronews, a rolling news channel partly funded by the European Union, has been accused of broadcasting “sponsored” propaganda for oppressive regimes.
Journalists at the channel, which receives a third of its funding from the EU, have backed a no-confidence motion against their management, accusing the station of “flagrant violation of journalistic ethics”.
The Sunday Telegraphreports that states such as Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have paid the news channel to send teams to produce short profiles of their countries that are notably free from any criticism of the governments.
Some journalists have even accused the channel of failing to criticise the Turkish government after the failed coup there this year.
Workers staged a one-day strike after passing the no-confidence motion, in the same week it emerged U.S. broadcaster NBC was in negotiation to buy a stake of up to 30 per cent in the channel.
Partly funded by the EU. That explains a great deal.

The Guardian, a great example of “fake news”
Check out the headline on Fake news purveyor, The Guardian concerning the Geert Wilders verdict:
Did a court find Geert guilty on a criminal charge? Yes.
But the whole thing adds up to a Soviet style approach to reality.
The real headline should read, “Dutch Courts criminalize non-Marxist opposition views on immigration”.
Geert did not say anything that the leader of an opposition party is not obligated to say by his job description. If the vast majority of your antisocial behaviour problems are coming from Muslim illegals from Morocco, or even legal ones, the smart thing to do is bring in less of them. And that is exactly verbatim what he said.
And calling Geert Wilders far right to equate him the with National Socialist Workers Party of 1930s Germany, is a cheap rhetorical trick at best.
But really its outright dishonest. Even if you were to call him “far right wing” because like we at this site, believe in small government, maximum individual rights and responsibilities, and ending many of the institutions which are now state sponsored, like schools, it would still be wrong.
And they didn’t mean it that way anyway.
Geert Wilders believes homosexuals and Jewish people ought to be able to walk Dutch streets free of the current real danger of being attacked by Muslims, determined to turn Holland into a sharia compliant state.
That is the definition of a classical liberal. And in terms of state run institutions, he is pretty much far left, believing that the government should pay for most services from cradle to grave. Only he feels that this should apply to honest hard working people who have actually paid into the Dutch system via taxes or the truly disabled.
Not every thug that manages to trick their way into the country.
The Guardian uses a process that many who escaped from behind the Iron Curtain in then bad old days of the Soviet Union will remember from their fake news. Guilty of thought crimes. Telling truths that are not allowed.
And so now we have another data point for what is fake news.

10. CBC on Al Sisi, the current Egyptian leader who was put in place after the largest popular revolution in world history, both in raw numbers and percent of the population, and who rolled back the psychotic Islamic laws put in place by Morsi:

And American, British and European officials can barely mention Egypt without including the phrase “democratic transition,” something that is not much in evidence.
Left diplomatically unsaid is the massacre of up to 1,000 protesters by el-Sissi’s shock troops in Cairo’s Raba’a Square 18 months ago.

A leader who represents more or less Western interests but is a harsh dictator is called a “dictator” or “despised ruler” and described in the sophomoric or sometimes erudite language of the CBC, but always to create the impression of a villain.
A brutal murderous horrific dictator but for communism or far left wing extremism, is at worst a kind of lovable clown and usually referred to as President even if there was no vote, or the vote was utterly crooked.
The death of Castro who kept his people down for decades and decades, preventing anyone from making even a meagre living by serving tourists food, is made into a legend.
I hope to get a chance to do, and publish an interview later with someone who visited Cuba properly. Who went off the ‘eyes-right and ahead’ only tour like you get in North Korea for a better example.

As I may have mentioned before, I am moving into a new computer.
At the end of the day this will mean more and better work. But for the moment this means days like today where it was spent nearly entirely on the phone with about 20 different people in Pakistan at Microsoft support call centres where I was passed around, hung up on, given bad numbers, and most amazingly, in the middle of a call, when I was already listening to hold music as I was connected to one person who was passing me on to another department, heard a recorded voice saying: “This number cannot be completed as dialled”. And this was when I was already connected to them!
At this point the best thing to do is get drunk for my own safety. The amount of adrenalin pumping through my veins is more than is healthy for a middle aged male.
The good news is, the computer overall is fantastic. It produces titled videos faster than ever and has minor to moderate improvements where it counts even if it is a little gimmicky at the user interface.
Thank you again to all who helped me acquire this new machine (you know who you are) and once its configured, which I hope is within a few days, the output should not just return to normal but go up. After all, typing on a keyboard where there are actual letters and number you can see is a big plus.
Not to mention I only need to hit each key once to get a response!
The comments however continue to be exceptionally content rich. Please make sure you check them under the Reader’s links post. There is a sea change. And it happened because media like this allowed at least some people to reconcile what they see out their own windows with other people’s view from theirs.

The deputy head of MS blocking nationalists on Facebook: In Poland there is no consensus on censorship
In Poland, we don’t accept censorship; we will analyze in legal terms, what we can do about Facebook blocking profiles associated with the national movements – announced on Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Justice Patryk Jaki. It’s outrageous – he believes.
National-movement-activists reported on Twitter that in recent days some profiles disappeared from Facebook, among others, the March of Independence, the National Movement, the National Radical Camp and All-Polish Youth. Administrators also blocked profiles of activists.
Nationalists, who are blaming, primarily employees of the Polish branch of Facebook for the removal , planned for a November 5th protest against the Warsaw seat of the social networking site.
Patryk Jaki, Deputy Minister stressed on Wednesday in “Signals day” in the radio Jedynka that Poland is “the cradle of democracy and freedom.” “We don’t accept censorship” – he said.
Asked whether the prosecution should look into blocking of the patriotic pages and and pages with a related content among others” the Independence March, the deputy head of the Ministry of Justice replied: “We will analyze in legal terms, what we can do, because actually what happens on Facebook, but also on Twitter, is outrageous.”
Asked whether the prosecution can do anything against a company, that is outside the Polish jurisdiction, he said: “Today we’re wondering if we can do something. Probably, the possibilities we have, are limited, but even the ones that we have, I think we should use them “.
“There are allowed (on Facebook) pages, that offend the Catholic Church, vulgar ones, others- referring to the communist ideology, but not allowed are Polish patriotic slogans? Something here is not right and it absolutely can not be accepted,” – he said.
According to him, “evidently patriotic Polish pages are often being harassed.” “Only one type of [FB] page in the political dispute is being harassed (…), and the others, even the most vulgar ones, act freely. Here, clearly something is wrong with freedom and democracy,” – said the deputy minister. In his view, blocking patriots “is a question of those people, who are responsible for these sites in Poland.”
Also digitization minister Anna Stre?y?ska, expressed her opinion and wrote Tuesday on Twitter: “Concerning FB problem, I act as I see fit and reasonable, within the law, and my competence; in order to solve the problem rather than inflame it.”
Polish League Against Defamation [non-government civil rights organization] on its website published a statement in which he states that “censorship used by Facebook,” is a violation of, among others, Art. 54 of the Constitution, which says that “everyone shall have the freedom to express opinions and to acquire and disseminate information, and preventive censorship means of social communication and the licensing of the press shall be prohibited.” “Because FB operates on Polish territory is obliged to adhere to the Polish legal order” – emphasized Polish League Against Defamation.
The organization also announced that it filed two notices of a possible crime by the administration of Facebook regarding the violation of article. 196 CC, which reads: “Whoever disrespects the religious feelings of others, by desecrating publicly an object of religious worship or a place for the public performance of religious rites, is subject to a fine, imprisonment or imprisonment for up to 2 years.”

A suggestion for President (elect) Trump
The salvation of liberal democracy and classical civilization has moved a step closer to becoming a reality, thanks to the election of Donald Trump.
His victory has also encouraged our European fellow travelers, while pushing the current crop of international socialists and Islamic, manifest destiny operators into a vitriol-filled panic.
However, upon sifting through the carnage left in the wake of the campaign and election, it seems that there remains something we absolutely must consider very carefully. Consider, and even (perhaps) develop and implement a policy to govern how to deal with the legacy media.
This is more than a “dance with the one that brung ya” appeal and it is much more important than a question of loyalty or revenge.This is about the polarized media roles; the one they were supposed to have played versus the one that they did play.
The fourth estate has an obligation to objectively inform the public so as to enable them to make their own decisions. Instead, the legacy media actively manipulated and concealed singularly important information, any and/or all of which might have led people to a choice that they (the government media complex itself) would not have liked.
An excellent example of this is the distinct lack of media mention of the Clintons robbing the White House as they were moving out of 1600 Penn. One doesn’t have to think hard about what the broadcast media would have done had Melania Trump been president and the Trump’s had robbed the White House on the way out.
In fact, there would be a raging debate nearly constantly on CNN whether or not having the spouse of a former 2 term president, running for the same job was a violation of the two term limit if Trump’s wife had been president in the past.
Never raised once with the Clintons.
Be clear, this is not about revenge. This is about saving democracy.
But there is something else that needs to be carefully considered and a policy of some kind put in place.
If anyone did an honest comparison of the coverage that Obama got when he ran for office, both times, Vs. the coverage that Trump got, people would be calling for guillotines in Times Square for the media collusion with leftist, DNC and Soros allied forces. And well they should. It would be richly deserved.
This shows a long-term deep policy level agenda. not a bias, not personal vendetta, but a deep deep policy level conspiracy intended to subvert the democratic process at its core.
And its no small measure of irony that it is by far leftists extremists as well as Wall Street, the DNC and mass media.
While it would behove Donald Trump to deal mostly with the alternative media who spread the information that got him elected and mostly ignore the massive corporations who conspired against him on the mere basis of dancing with who brung ya, the issue is so much bigger than that.
To save democracy we must destroy senile systems and focus on more organic ones that actually do the job.
In this case, a senile system is one where it puts more effort into protecting itself, than doing what the system was designed to do.
Think of a tank that has so much anti tank equipment on it that it cant move more than one mile an hour and has no room for ammunition or guns. What’s the point? The tank is safe but it has no value. We don’t need that exaggerated an example for a system to be considered senile. The tank would simply not be able to project enough force to be worth the cost of the armour. It is why the Iranians are building thousands of small speed boats to counter US carrier groups. Same thinking at work.
But the media case is actually worse. We have the media which has colluded with illiberal actors to destroy democracy itself in order to guarantee its own place in the hierarchy of established power brokers.
It is the definition of corruption.
And now you can smell the fear of the most disgusting of the legacy media.
The CBC, who takes money from Canadian federal taxes at a rate of approximately one point one BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR (most media could operate off of the interest of one year’s CBC tax dollars) are starting to backpedal already as you can see with that linked interview with Ann Coulter.
The New York Times has already issued an apology for their horrific and agenda driven coverage. They are apparently losing a massive number of subscribers. And once again we see the Free Market picking up the reality-deficit which the government-media complex in no small part, creates.
It is critically important that these systems be dumped. They cannot be repaired.
The very structure of these systems, the fact that they cost so much to run that stable sources of money have to be found if they want to plan ahead to the end of the week.
This means that people with an interest will step up to supply that money.
This website by contrast, is paid for by a few part time jobs I hold, and contributors to this site, and the occasional sale of a Cross of Matamoros. No one who writes for this site is going to misrepresent their opinions for those kind of stakes.
The fact is, that government regulates the broadcast media, and with the wave of a bureaucrat’s pen, hundreds of millions can be lost because a license to broadcast is not renewed.
This is especially true in Canada with the CRTC who would not grant non-leftist, SUN TV a license to broadcast on any channel someone might actually find. They subsequently closed.
Trump got elected because of mostly volunteer and somewhat oddball media people who seem to be beholden to no one, or at least if they are, to those who have the same vested interests in putting the truth out there.
Im pretty sure that Julian Assange of Wikileaks would never in a million years have wanted to actively work to elect Donald Trump. He did not conspire with Trump or anyone connected with him, nor did former NSA whistle blower, Ed Snowdon. But they did want the truth about the Clintons out there because its important to democracy.
They are being accused of helping trump and defeating Clinton. But they did no such thing. The Clintons defeated the Clintons. It was the whistle blowers, YouTubers, social media memers, LiveLeakers, bloggers, and non-beholden, non multi-million dollar media people who’s real stake was in America and the free world, who helped the Clintons defeat the Clintons by exposing who they were.
And that got Trump elected by default.
As it happens, it looks like that may have been a really good move for everyone who wants the best for the West, and for freedom and the principles of liberal democracy.
But I would hope that President Elect Trump does not just accept the crocodile tears of a frightened and senile industry, who deserve the guillotine at worst and obscurity at least, and continue business as usual.
Trump was elected on several clarion calls, one of the main ones being the corruption and bias of the media.
Now lets see Donald help them put themselves to oblivion like we all helped the Clintons do to themselves.
