US President Barack Obama pardoned 64 people and commuted sentences for an additional 209 on Wednesday, among them retired Marine Corps four star general James Cartwright, the alleged source of leaked information to the press detailing a cyber attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities in 2010.
President Barack Obama has commuted a 35-year prison sentence of Chelsea Manning, the soldier who leaked thousands of secret documents to Wikileaks in 2010, setting her on track for release in May.
Wikileaks said last week that Julian Assange, site’s publisher, would agree to extradition to the US if Ms Manning were freed. It is unclear if Mr Assange, the subject of an espionage investigation, will follow through, though a member of his legal team said he stands by his statements.

And now a mayor of Weert, a Dutch city, may face criminal charges for trying to implement a curfew for illegal migrants on New Years Eve in the Netherlands.
He may face criminal charges, for suggesting on one night, where it is well known that muslim illegal migrants commit organized mass crimes against European women in many countries and many cities, people who should not be in Europe in the first place, who are criminal merely for being where they are, should not have free run of the streets on one night, and the night where massive amounts of crimes by illegal migrants are known to be taking place.
Jos Heijmans, the Mayor of Weert, a city in the South of the Netherlands, issued the emergency decree forcing all asylum seekers to stay inside the compound of the local asylum centre as he feared a group of 26 North Africans would run amok during New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Now a union that represents people convicted of crimes has filed a criminal complaint against the mayor.
The Union of Lawbreakers’ secretary Christiaan Bekema said: “We are talking about an illegal restraint order.”
He said that if the judge agreed with the measure being disproportionate, the asylum-seekers could seek compensation.
The Centre for Public Order and Safety, a research institute of the University of Groningen in north-eastern Holland, deemed the restraining order illegal and stated that only a judge could issue it, not city authorities.
In fact the lesson here is twofold. Clearly Marxism is being used to bring down the temple of classical civilization. And it is using its favourite tool, selective enforcement.
The way it works is, rule of law is used selectively to advantage Muslims and Marxists, and where rule of law goes against those interests, they use Marxist base logic to allow and enforce that.
But the other lesson, while related, is at least as important.
And that is the idea that using a law and order solution to what is a military problem is a formula for the loss of everything we have.

Canadian Organization Asks City’s Residents To Register As Non-Racist

The Sault Ste. Marie and Area Local Immigration Partnership (LIP), a Canadian immigration and “anti-racist” organization, is asking residents of the city to sign a pledge to prove they aren’t racist.
Local news syndicate SooToday, first announced the pledge yesterday in an article titled “Here’s your chance to register as a certified non-racist.”
“By taking this online pledge, supporters are making a personal commitment to understand, stand against, and act to eliminate racism and discrimination.
“It only takes a few seconds to go online and fill out the form. When you click submit, your pledge is added to a running count of those who’ve also taken the pledge. There are so many different cultures in Canada; we face the challenges of acceptance and inclusion every day,” states Danny Krmpotich, Program Coordinator – Local Immigration Partnership.”
2. Toxic gas pumped into German public school
A mass evacuation is underway after a terrifying gas attack at a German school
Emergency services and specialist environmental experts raced to the scene after what is believed to be pepper spray was pumped into the gymnasium at the Reinbeker Weg School in Hamburg.
More than 30 students reported having trouble breathing as the debilitating gas also left them unable to see properly.
The fire brigade arrived with several rescue vehicles and emergency doctors, some wearing bio-hazard suits, and rushed students away from the scene.

Frankfurt am Main – The journalist Volker Siefert (Frankfurt am Main) practiced a sharp criticism of a planned event, organized by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, together with Islamic associations for chief editors.
As he writes in a commentary under the heading “Heile-Islam-World-Workshop in the Ministry of the Interior” in the magazine of the German journalist association “Journalist” (Remagen), the member associations of the German Islam Conference demanded of Thomas de Maizière (CDU) a course “in which chief editors of all relevant media in Germany should learn how to correctly report on Islam”.
He said it was going to be on the ministry’s premises in early 2017 and had been developed by the Ministry of the Interior and Islamic associations: “This is what the associations have created what lobbyists otherwise dream of: namely, that the state intervenes in the process of opinion formation, about something that is directly discussed with the media’s responsible leaders. “
Siefert: A minister cannot give tuition lessons to journalists [how they should write]
The action is downplayed by the Ministry of the Interior as “perfectly normal”.
