This is really good. Special thanks to Michael Laudahn for his work on this, as it was quite difficult to translate properly and took a great deal of time and effort.

My concern is that she and those magnificent people like her, will manage to be used by the Muslim Brotherhood and the ‘Arab Spring’ will install a Salafist government in Morocco as it has been in Iran, Egypt, Tunisia, and soon Syria and Yemen.

I am afraid due to an error on my part, there is a missing section of the translation for the interesting and very popular documentary on sexual harassment of women in Belgium, seemingly from entirely Islamic immigrants to that country.

The error was a process one on my part and I am fixing it now. The video will be offline for about 25 minutes while the new file uploads and processes with the complete (I hope to Zeus) translation intact.

The trailer that was translated and posted last week of this show has hit well over fifty thousands views, and that is on my post of it alone. I know it has been moved to various youtube channels where it enjoys robust view counts as well.

Michael Laudahn, Baron Bodissey and others have worked very hard on translating and subtitling this entire show for everyone. It is interesting to see, how did one commenter put it, a confirmed lefty hit substantially in the head with a reality stick? Something like that.

One thing about this documentary really does offend me however.

While they talk about how all the offending actions and remarks are from foreigners, they seem oblivious to the fact that:

None of the foreigners were Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai Buddhists, Russian or Polish people, in fact, all of them seemed to be from countries that almost certainly makes them Muslims.

Feminists line up against football veil ruling

A number of feminist organisations have criticised a ruling by international football body FIFA that would allow female players to wear veils.

 

FIFA banned the wearing of veils in a 2007 ruling, citing safety concerns.

A decision in early March permitted the testing of specially designed head covering for four months. The new headscarves will be fastened with velcro rather than pins. A final decision will be taken on July 2nd.

Such a move would be a “backward step”, according to feminist group “Ni Putes Ni Soumises” (“Neither whores nor submissive”).

“We hope FIFA doesn’t take this decision,” said the group’s president, Asma Guefini, reported in French daily Le Monde. “It would be a backward step for women.”

Some suspect influence is being wielded on the matter by Qatar, which will host the football World Cup in 2022.

“We can see the influence of prince Ali Bin al Hussein, who is one of the vice presidents of FIFA and, of course, of Qatar,” said an anonymous source reported by the newspaper.

In December a number of women’s organisations wrote an open letter to FIFA president Sepp Blatter to demand the ban on the veil be kept in place.

These included the international women’s rights groups Ligue Internationale des Femmes, Femix’sports and Coordination Française pour le Lobby Européen des Femmes (CLEF).

UK medics ‘filmed offering to perform female genital mutilation’

Medics in the UK have been uncovered allegedly offering to perform female genital mutilation (FGM) on girls as young as ten, it has been claimed.

The Sunday Times claims to have filmed a dentist, GP and alternative medicine practitioner who were all willing to perform circumcisions or arrange for the operation to be carried out.

Somali model and activist Waris Dirie, who was mutilated as a child, said: ‘If a white girl is abused, the police come break down the door. If a black girl is mutilated, nobody takes care of her. This is what I call racism.’

Carrying out FGM or arranging it is illegal and carries a maximum prison sentence of 14 years.

The Sunday Times filmed a GP referring an undercover reporter to a dentist who said he would be willing to perform FGM upon girls aged ten and 13.

Journalists also spoke to an alternative medicine practitioner who was willing to circumcise a ten-year-old girl for £750.

All three deny any wrongdoing.

According to the Sunday Times there could be 100,000 women in the UK who have undergone FGM while 22,000 girls in Britain could be at risk of the procedure, including 6,000 in London.

The Metropolitan Police said it had received 166 reports of people who fear they are at the risk of FGM since 2008, but no convictions have ever taken place.

As many as 100,000 women in Britain have undergone female genital mutilations with medics in the UK offering to carry out the illegal procedure on girls as young as 10, it has been reported.

Investigators from The Sunday Times said they secretly filmed a doctor, dentist and alternative medicine practitioner who were allegedly willing to perform circumcisions or arrange for the operation to be carried out.

The doctor and dentist deny any wrongdoing.

The practice, which involves the surgical removal of external genitalia and in some cases the stitching of the vaginal opening, is illegal in Britain and carries up to a 14 year prison sentence.

It is also against the law to arrange FGM.

I’m not clear on how women can use their own nakedness to garner attention while simultaneously showing anger at being objectified. I mean, they would be a lot less objectified if they wore clothes I would think, and as they knew it would be their bare bodies that would bring attention to their cause, (whatever that is. To be honest I am not exactly sure) isn’t that actually self-objectifying?

I always find it amusing when women exploit the desires of men and then claim it is they who are being exploited. Like a Venus Flytrap claiming they are exploited by flies.

A Pakistani former dancing girl left fighting for life by a ‘horrific’ acid attack has committed suicide a decade after being heavily facially disfigured.

Fakhra Younus, 33, leapt to her death from a sixth floor building in Rome 12 years after the acid attack which she said left her looking ‘not human’.

Cleared: Younus's ex-husband Bilal Khar, the son of a wealthy Pakistani governor, was cleared in 2003 of charges relating to the attack

At the time of her attack in May 2000, her ex-husband Bilal Khar was the man accused of entering her mother’s house and pouring acid over Younus’s face as she slept.

The attack, which took place in front of Younus’s then five-year-old son, left her unable to breathe and fighting for life.

Her nose was almost completely melted and she has since undergone 39 separate surgical procedures to repair her disfigured face over the past decade.

The horrific attack also burned off her hair, fused her lips, blinded her in one eye, destroyed her left ear and melted her breasts.

Filip Dewinter (and his stunning daughter An-Sofie) sure know how to campaign!

The leader of the Beligian Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest) party already has a well-deserved reputation for being a brave man.

He has been been prosecuted on preposterous trumped up charges, for doing nothing more than pointing out the extent of Islamisation in his country, and manhandled and thrown to the floor by police for just holding legitimate democratic protests.

But now it seems that Dewinter’s courage runs in the family, as does an eye for campaigning strategies that cut right to the heart of modern European political issues.

(Though the Mail really should be thoroughly ashamed of itself for repeating the utterly spurious ‘Far-Right’ slur. Their readers agree, as evidenced by this comment: “That poster is not extremist. Extremist is covering women from head to foot and claiming that you own them.”)

A Belgian politician has risked causing uproar among Muslims after starting a ‘Women Against Islamization’ campaign featuring his 19-year-old daughter wearing a burka and a bikini.

Filip Dewinter, leader of the far-right Vlaams Belang party, uses a shot of his daughter An-Sofie Dewinter in the dark blue bikini for the political campaign. The glamorous teenager dons a burka that covers her head and face, while the rest of the Muslim garment is draped over her back.

The provocative image is likely to inflame tensions among Islamic groups and nationalists in the racially-divided country.

The extremist [b*llshit! Ed] Vlaams Belang party claims that it wants to convince women to take a stand against Islam. Ms Dewinter told the Belgian press she does not feel used by the party. She said: ‘I’ve suggested (the poster) myself, I have learned to live with it but I have had everything up to death threats made at me.’ She said that she ‘wanted to make this statement.’

She added: ‘What is the greatest contrast with a niqab? Nude. ‘The campaign fits in perfectly with how I feel about the whole issue . As women, we must choose: freedom or Islam.’ The teenager claimed that she had been threatened by Muslim groups She added: ‘Death threats and criticism no longer scare me off.’

Her father, the party’s leader, said: ‘Women are always the first victims of Islam. We want to make clear that they have a choice.’

Egyptian women lashing out at morality police, quite literally.

Vigilante gangs of ultra-conservative Salafi men have been harassing shop owners and female customers in rural towns around Egypt for “indecent behavior,” according to reports in the Egyptian news media. But when they burst into a beauty salon in the Nile delta town of Benha this week and ordered the women inside to stop what they were doing or face physical punishment, the women struck back, whipping them with their own canes before kicking them out to the street in front of an astonished crowd of onlookers.

Modeling themselves after Saudi Arabia’s morality police as a “Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice,” the young men raided clothing and other retail shops around the Qalubiya province over New Year’s weekend declaring they were there to enforce Islamic law, according to the Tahrir News.

Shop owners were told they could no longer sell “indecent” clothing, barbers could no longer shave men’s beards, and that all retail businesses should expect regular and surprise inspections to check for compliance. Frightened customers were ordered to cover up and threatened with severe punishment if they did not abide by “God’s law on earth.”

But when the women in a Benha beauty salon stood up to the young Salafi enforcers, they found support on the streets as well as online, with one amused reader suggesting that women should be deputized to protect the revolution’s democratic values.

The Western media has been reporting that Iranian-born actress Golshifteh Farahani has been told not to return to Iran because of her recent nude photo shoot published in Madame Le Figaro magazine.

It’s actually much worse, and a little more complicated than that.

When Egyptian blogger Aliaa Mahdy, 20, published nude photos of herself on her blog in December Egypt exploded.

Although Egypt’s liberals supported her right to self-expression, and while many women hailed her bravery, the country’s religious conservatives in particular were enraged. Mahdy was subsequently threatened with death and rape.

Egyptian blogger gets death threats for nude protest

Porn and religious fundamentalism just don’t mix. Or do they? Well, it appears so.

Take the case of Aliaa Magda al-Mahdy, 20. In protest against Egypt’s illiberalism and religious fundamentalism, in December, she and a male friend posted nude photos of themselves on their blogs. The Muslim-majority state exploded with shock, furor, debate, and assertions of medieval values.

Aliaa continued her protest against the oppression that she, and millions of women in the state experience on a daily basis. The twenty-year old blogger called for women to remove the hijab for freedom, and to send her two photographs to post on her blog, one veiled and one unveiled.
