Today, Friday November 3rd (CET), Hamed Abdel Samad noted that his twitter account @hamed_samad was deleted without prior notice.

If within just one year, hundreds of Christian terrorists carried out acts of terror in more than 50 states, invoking the Bible in doing so, then most media would speak of Christian terrorism without batting an eyelid – and rightfully so. Times Magazine spoke of Buddhist terror, referring to violence against Muslims in Burma. But when the terrorists are Muslims, invoking the Koran, then they refuse to see a connection to Islam.
We do not defame all Muslims when we speak of Islamic terrorism. Not all Muslims put everything into action that is written in the Koran. Some just put into action what feels similar to them. Peaceful humans will choose the peaceful passages, and say, this is the message of the Koran. We like these Muslims, and we do not call them “selective”, but “liberal”, or “moderate”. Violent people invoke the violent passages and say, this is what God expects from us. We do not like these Muslims, and we say they are radical and misunderstand the Koran.
The fact that most Muslims do not commit acts of violence is not thanks to Islam. Islam expects of Muslims to pray five times a day in the Mosque. Very few Muslims do that. Is it due to Islam that they neglect this obligation? Islam demands that Muslims work diligently, not lie at the court, and keep the streets clean. Do all Muslims do accordingly? Islam permits man to marry four women at the same time. Very few Muslims use this permission. Islam legitimizes violence against unbelievers, legitimizes discrimination of religious minorities, and beating of women. The fact that many Muslims do not do any of this is not thanks to Islam, but thanks to the pragmatism and reason of the people who don’t do these things.
It is correct to say that not each single decision and each single deed of a Muslim can be attributed to Islam only, but at the same time, we cannot say: cleanliness, diligence, honesty, polygamy, hatred for unbelievers, violence against women, discrimination of minorities and praying five times a day have nothing to do with Islam!
Terror has got many causes that need to come together so that a person will become a terrorist. The social situation, the political situation in the world, the structure of his personality all play a role in that. But the religion and what it says about Jihad and the unbelievers, and what it promises the martyr after death, are central causes. So why is it defamation to say what we can empirically prove?

Essen – Bochum (ots) – This morning (01. November), an officer of the Federal Police was bitten so severely in the hand by a 43-year-old man that he had to discontinue duty and undergo hospital treatment.

Around 00:30 CET, forces of the Federal Police were called to the RE 1 train (Düsseldorf-Essen) in the main train station Essen. There was a fight in the train. A 43-year-old man from Bochum allegedly attacked several passengers.

The officers recorded the issue and took the Bochumer to the police station for a breath test. There it turned out later that the Ghanaian citizen was inebriated with 1.4 per mille. Later, when he was allowed to leave the police station, he refused, and demanded that the Federal Police officers drive him home.

Thereupon, he was assisted in leaving the police office. It appears that the man used this as an opportunity to attack a 49-year old Federal Police officer with his fists. As he was overpowered, the man bit a Federal Police officer in the hand so severely that he suffered a bleeding wound.

At the subsequent treatment in hospital, during the cleaning of the wound, a piece of tooth was removed from it. The officer will presumably be off duty for a few days.

An investigation for dangerous battery, insult, and resisting is filed against the 49-year-old, who is already notorious with the police for grievous battery.

Berlin: Police Leadership Knew of Conditions at Academy

Berlin – another police officer has, anonymously, come forward, and confirmed an instructor’s allegations of intolerable conditions at the police academy Berlin Spandau, due to the high number of migrant students (see our original report from yesterday here).
Also, a newspaper has obtained an internal document from a Berlin police leadership meeting, which shows that the leadership long knew of the problems.

What police Berlin will have to expect as new colleagues in the future “pushes the imagination to the limit!” An officer of the State Office of Criminal investigations (Landeskriminalamt, LKA) has spoken out anonymously in the discussion about intolerable conditions at the Berlin police academy.

After the serious accusations against police students with migration background who are in training in Berlin-Spandau, now an, in his words, “concerned police officer of the state of Berlin” comes forward in an open letter to police president Klaus Kandt (B.Z. have obtained the document). Earlier, an instructor had lamented intolerable conditions at the police academy Spandau – here is the full text.

The LKA-officer now comes to the instructor’s defense – and raises serious allegations against the police leadership! They were downplaying grievances, as for example at the academy in Spandau. The officer detects infiltration of police and justice by Arab clans, and, in his open letter, describes problems with police students with migration background.

„Pushes The Imagination To The Limit!“
He were police officer since 1986 and had seen his fair share of things. He writes: „In my whole professional career, I only feared police officers twice. The first time was at an assignment ‚Ongling burglary suspected, perpetrator probably armed with gun‘. When we entered the house, a colleague behind me loaded his gun, but the familiar ‘ka-klick’ of the decocker was missing. He only decocked the gun, after I had drawn his attention to it. Now, I am worried again, but more than about hat colleague who might have shot me in the back in the chaos. Because that, what we have to expect as new colleagues in the future, pushes the imagination to the limit!”

Treating Female Officers Like Cleaning Women
Die Welt reports that the police leadership was aware of the allegations for quite some time. The newspaper cites an internal document from a leadership meeting which they obtained. The percentage of migrants at the academy were currently 30%. Part of the candidates for police service can’t swim, even though this were mandatory for recruitment. They were treating female officers like cleaning women, it says.

But the police leadership were denying any dialogue and downplaying the grievances, says the officer in his open letter: “If an instructor goes public anonymously, then only, because the dialogue with the leadership that they were asking for is non-existent!” The leadership were “watering down, downplaying, and talking down incidents” and were “shrouded in silence”.

„Police bends even antisocials into shape!“
The officer quotes the internal intranet of the police in his letter: “Without anticipating the results, he (Mister Kandt) is of the firm conviction that it is the job of the police academy to socialize the students in such a way that they will show discipline, politeness and respect in their interactions with each other, as well as with their superiors, and the people of the city.“

But, so the officer, the academy cannot socialize the students:

„Socialisation – this is what I was taught at exactly this faculty – of a human being takes place at two places: in his parents’ home – this should be the norm – or in a correctional facility. The faculty is dependant on people who are already versed in the rules of social interaction, as well as in the official language German, as it is required by legislation.“

The officer continues in drastic words: „This is how I translate your statement: ‚The police will bend into shape even antisocials!‘ No, it won’t. If this were the case, then there would be no need for the police!“

The LKA officer in his letter also admonishes the subversion of public service and justice: “Without doubt we can state that the subversion by Arab clans has already begun“.

He had doubts “that this still was the same police where I started more than 30 years ago.“

Besides, the anonymous officer criticizes that the police vice president Margarete Koppers were allegedly treating applicants from Arab clans notorious to the police too liberal, and that notorious lawyers of the milieu represent her .

„Tolerance comes to an end when female superiors aren’t respected anymore“
The officer condemns further grievances in the academy:

„When female superiors aren’t respected anymore, because they are women, when the students refuse swimming training, because ‘someone unclean’ might have been swimming in the pool, then tolerance and welcome culture and ‚Multikulti‘ come to an end!“

Such people should „be shown the door, because they haven’ grasped the basic rules of our democracy, they aren’t socialized in the spirit of our laws, and the citizen out there can’t expect any help from people like these.“

„Just a matter of time when first shots will be fired“
It were „just a matter of time when between two colleagues of rivalling ethnicities at the police first shots will be fired“, the police officer worries.

He did not want to give his name, because „I trust the police leadership less than the colleague with the not decocked gun in my back.“

He closes his letter „with collegial greetings“ as a „concerned police officer of the state of Berlin“.

It appears that the leadership of the Berlin police knew of the problems with police students with migration background.
This is what an internal paper suggests. It talks about „condescending treatment“ of women, and deficits in the professional ethos.
According to information that Die Welt have obtained, there is a climate of fear at the academy.
Why this is relevant:
The debate about grievances at the academy was started by an audio recording in which the complaints of instructor about Turkish and Arab police students can be heard.

It appears that the leadership of the police Berlin had been aware for quite some time of the escalating grievances at the academy. Die Welt have obtained an internal paper of a leadership discussion from August this year.

Accordingly, the police academy laments problems, „that developed due to the recruitment of officers with migration background (currently 30%)“. For example, part of the candidates can’t swim, even though this is mandatory for recruitment. Besides, a „condescending treatment of female officers, as if they were cleaning women“, is Additionally, candidates lacked professional ethos.

According to Welt information, there is a climate of fear at the academy. “There were teachers who wanted to meet representatives of the parties to talk about the grievances. But pressure was exerted on them”, a leading police officer of Berlin says.

The spokesman for inner politics of the FDP in Berlin, Marcel Luthe, says: „The police union organized a meeting with us and teachers. Die Welt were first to report on this. Police president Klaus Kandt announced that he received the audio file last Friday. The sender of the file was identified, and there was a talk with him. He was criticized for not having turned to his employer.

The police academy is directly subject to the police president, the dramatic problems that repeatedly occur are his direct responsibility. The academy needs a police leader with experience in duty and in teaching at its top.“

Luthe demanded that the interior senate take action. „No matter which stone you turn around, terrorism, a 15 percent increase in crime since 2011, the lowest clearance rate, areas where there is open drug dealing, and now the police academy – the leadership of the police Berlin is a total failure. How much longer will the Interior Senator ask the Berliners to put up with this?“

In the police Berlin, an audio file is causing a stir. In it, an instructor is complaining about insupportable conditions at the police academy Berlin in the district of Spandau. Die Welt have obtained the recording.

There is no doubt of the authenticity of the recording, police spokesman Thomas Neuendorf tells the Deutsche Presse-Agentur on Wednesday. „We will closely inspect the school and speak to students and instructors about shortcomings.“

The man, who says he is an instructor at the academy, laments hate, refusal to learn, and violence, in a class with many police students with migration background: „I was an instructor at the police academy. I have never seen anything like this before. The class room looked like sh*t, half of them Arabs and Turks, insolent as shi*t. Dumb. Couldn’t articulate themselves.“

German colleagues allegedly were „threatened with violence“. He were „truly scared of them“. The lament of the – real or alleged [police Berlin did confirm the authenticity of the speaker – translator] – instructor culminates in the conclusion: „This will become a two-class police, which will be corrupt with no end.“ And: „They aren’t colleagues, they are the enemy. This is the enemy in our own ranks.“

Police Chief Klaus Kandt said upon enquiry that he confidentially received the anonymous voice mail from a coworker last week. „The head of the police school was subsequently asked to clarify the issue and the situation in the class. Without anticipating the results, it is my firm conviction that it is the duty of the police academy to socialize the students in a way so that they will show discipline, politeness and appreciation in their interactions with each other as well as with their superiors and the people of the city.“

The Police Union (Gewerkschaft der Polizei, GdP) announced that they knew of the problems but that their hands were bound without concrete hints. „We know this audio file, and it worries us, because it is not the first such statement about the academy“, says GdP spokesman Benjamin Jendro. „But our problem is that noone has contacted us so far.“ Despite repeated offers for talks, no one who witnessed such extreme conditions contacted them. „It is nothing tangible, always just hearsay“, said Jendro to the dpa. But it were striking that the accusations were always made against people with migration background. Additionally, none of the other police institutions in Berlin had said anything comparable. In one case it was quite evident that the accusations could not possibly be true [Welt here somehow forget to mention that in other cases though, it was established that police students were dealing with drugs and selling hot goods from burglaries on the premises of the academy – translator.] Jendro urged anyone who knew of anything to get in contact.

Marcel Luthe, spokesman for inner politics of the FDP Berlin, chided the lowering of the human resources standards at the police Berlin: „The complete lack of ideas“ of the vice police president responsible for recruitment were showing first results. The goal should be, „to win the best of each year for the police, and not to take anyone you can get. Additional qualifications in language and culture are wonderful*, but just an add-on to the very minimum requirements of language competency and social skills. Someone who does not have these does not belong with the police Berlin.“

Germany: Pakistani “Refugee” Who Cut His Little Daughter’s Throat Arrested in Spain

Finally they got him! After a week on the loose, Sohail A. (33) was apprehended. It appears that the father, who allegedly cut the throat of his daughter Ayesha (2) in Neugraben [Hamburg – translator], defected via France to Spain. There, the handcuffs closed on Sunday.
The bestial bloody deed in the Wiedauweg shocked not just Hamburg. For days, the nation feared with the investigators and hoped for a quick apprehension. Many were scared, because the man, who, it seems, brutally murdered his daughter, was on the loose undetected for days.

The Motive is still unclear. There are indications that the rejection of his asylum application could have been the reason for the inconceivably cruel deed. „A few days before the deed, Sohail’s application was rejected“, a source tells MOPO.
Sohail’s wife Lubna A. wanted to divorce him, because he was battering her and their son. According to the source, he threatened the rest of the family.
When Lubna A. was speaking on the phone to her husband last Monday, he told her that he was on the train with little Ayesha, taking her away. Desperate, Lubna A. immediately went to the police. She did not know at this point that it was too late. The little girl laid murdered in her parents’ apartment.

These past few days were like torment. The fact that the man who had killed her child probably was still in the close proximity tormented the 32-year old mother and her family. After she was released from hospital, Lubna A. stayed with her parents and her sister, and barely left her bedroom. „She is very unwell“, said her sister to MOPO on Saturday.
When the family learnt of Sohail A’s arrest, they can finally exhale at least a bit. „We have been waiting for this news every day“, says the sister. „We are very relieved!“ Now the family can mourn little Ayesha and does not have to fear Sohail A. suddenly showing up again.

It appears that after the murder, Sohail A. intended to defect from Spain to  Pakistan.

 

Germany: Major Terror Attack foiled just in Time / Suspect a Syrian Refugee

  • A Syrian was arrested on suspicion of preparing an attack motivated by Islamism. According to the federal prosecutor’s office, he had made up his mind to “kill a number of people, as large as possible”.
  • Thomas De Maiziere said that the arrest in Schwerin prevented “a grave terror attack”.

A Syrian was arrested in Schwerin on the strong suspicion of preparing an explosives attack, motivated by Islamism. This is what the federal prosecutor’s office announced on Wednesday morning (CET). Special forces of the Federal Police and the Federal Criminal Police Office were deployed in the action.

Additionally, the apartment of the suspect, and more apartments in Schwerin and in Hamburg were being searched, as Welt learned from police sources. One investigator told Welt: “The arrest of this man, particularly on Reformation Day, when there is a large event in Wittenberg with many top politicians, gives food for thought.”

According to investigations, the 19 year old accused is strongly suspected of having planned, and already concretely prepared, an islamistic-motivated attack in Germany with a highly potent explosive. Apparently, the authorities had the young man in their sights for a period of time. Already in July 2017, he had made up his moind to detonate an explosive device in Germany, to injure and kill a number of people as large as possible.

According to information by Die Welt, the Syrian Yamen A. came to Germany in October 2015. Currently, it does not appear that the 19-year-old already came to Germany with an order to prepare an attack. At the moment, [authorities] assume that he radicalized in the country.

The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) accordingly came across suspicious commumication on the internet, which led to a Facebook profile. Upon this, according to security authorities, Facebook was asked to disclose the user data of the terror suspect, but it took a while, until the suspect could be identified without doubt, and, finally, localized. The data contained extensive chat communication with a person who is deemed an “IS follower” and who calls himself a “soldier of the Caliphate”. This is congruent with Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière (CDU) who pointed out the importance of the internet for the arrest.

The federal prosecutor’s office confirmed early Wednesday afternoon (CET) that the suspect had contact over the internet ot a person who called himself “soldier of the Caliphate”. “But we do not know who this person is, and we do not know if he encouraged him (the suspect) in his plans”, said Frauke Köhler, spokesman of the federa prosecutor’s office.

Therefore, at the moment, charges are not laid against the Syrian for membership in a terrorist organization, but for preparing a grave subversive crime [translator: “eine schwere staatsgefährdende Straftat”, a grave subersive crime, is the technical term for a terror attack in German Officialese], Köhler said.

Special forces arrested the 19 year old Syrian in the early morning hours under the suspicion of preparing an islamistic-motivated bomb attack. Apartments are searched in Schwerin, and in Hamburg.

At the moment, no hints to membership in a terrorist organization

He allegedly begun in July to gather technical components and chemics that are needed for building an explosive devicde. It were still unclear if the accused already had a concrete destination for his explosive attack. As for the moment, the federal prosecutor’s office would not yet have hints of a membership of the accused in a terrorist organization.

There have been repeated arrests in Germany of suspects who were preparing attacks out of Islamistic motivation. The latest was the arrest of a 40 year old last Wednesday in Berlin, whom investigating authorities deem a member of Islamist circles. In July 2016, a 27 year old Syrian refugee self-detonated on the square in front of a music festival, 15 people were injured.

The office of the federal prosecutor announced a release on the state of the investigations in the afternoon.

Stabbing Spree in Munich: Suspect an Ethnic European, Homeless Person

Germany – Earlier today, starting at 9:45 AM local time, a man in Munich went on a stabbing spree, injuring four. As he managed to escape, a large police force of 500 was deployed, helicopters were circling the area, and the residents were asked to stay indoors.
The suspect was arrested at 11.51. Police are sure that they have the right guy.

These days, when there is a stabbing, and police declare that the perpetrator appears to be “mentally ill”, you can’t help but roll your eyes. But in this case, it actually seems plausible. The suspect arrested appears to be a local, ethnic-european homeless person. Homeless people in German cities often suffer from untreated severe schizophrenia, and “self-medicate” with alcohol and drug abuse.
At 2 PM local time, there was a press conference:

At the press conference, Hubertus Andrä (61), police chief of Munich, declared that the police had basically no doubts that the arrested German was the perpetrator. A knife, the weapon probably used in the crime, was found on him. The man currently refuses to answer questions.
According to Andrä, the attacker has got several previous convictions, amongst others for dangerous battery, theft, and drug offenses. Additionally, he suffers from psychological problems.

The question is of course, how comes that an insane person, who has got previous convictions, is allowed to walk the streets freely, putting unsuspecting people at a risk?

The answer is, just as with Islamic terror “Risks” (the so-called “Gefährder”): Because a) it would be violating their human rights to put them under safety arrest preemptively; and b) it would mean additional work for the courts and for police, who can barely keep up under their work load anyway.

And, last but not least, there is simply no capacity. The German jails and mental institutions are clogged up with migrants. As criminality rates were dropping, jails that were no longer needed were closed – the ones remaining are now overcrowded with migrants (“Currently, we are noting that the number of inmates, which has been dropping for years, has now very strongly increased, due to refugees”, Guido Wolf, Justice Minster of Baden-Württemberg, in Focus, August 2016).

A psychiatrist tells me that he knows mental institutions where “literally almost every single inmate is a migrant fom one of the Islamic former Soviet republics and from Afghanistan. They got there for dangerous battery or other crimes, and have been found mentally ill and drug-addicted. So they won’t get deported, because that would be inhumane, as in their home countries, they won’t receive proper medical care.”

So known “risks” walk the streets, until someone gets killed.

Almost two weeks after the murder of an Ukrainian (28) in a refugee accommodation in town, background of the crime has leaked. Contradictory to the announcement of the Prosecution Landshut shortly after the crime, the 47-year-old [suspect] shows considerable psychiatric abnormality. An according examination on the weekend allegedly showed this.

Subsequently, the committing magistrate changed the arrest warrant to a warrant of commitment. The man has now been moved from prison to the district hospital for psychiatry, confirms chief prosecutor Thomas Steinkraus-Koch, spokesman of the Prosecution Landshut, in answer to our enquiry yesterday.

Insider sources in the police told PNP that the bloody crime might have been more than just an escalated argument between roommates. According to these sources, the Kazak said in interrogations that he were raped by his later victim, so allegedly, it were a brutal revenge. According to PNP investigations, the Kazak attacked his victim in their shared room with a knife and, among others, cut off his penis. The 28-year-old bled to death at the crime scene.

Mariahilfer Street, Wednesday afternoon: shortly after 3 PM, a teacher (name known to the editors) notices a burka-wearer at the subway station Zieglergasse. She approaches her and tells her, that a full-body veiling is prohibited since October 1st: „I don’t care, I love Islam“, answers the fully black-clad woman.

„Within moments, dozens of young men assemble, clearly Muslims. They solidarize with the burka-wearer, insult me as being a racist“, says the teacher. On the stairs to the subway station Zieglergasse, the Burka-wearer attacked the teacher, pushed her to the ground with both hands, and said, that she wasn’t obliged to follow laws. The young men made fun of the Viennese. Quickly, police officers intervene and protect the resident from the angry crowd.

The teacher: „They took my personal data, and took the Burka-wearer to the police office, to identify her.“ The officers advised the teacher to be cautious: „Avoid such scenes in public, you might land in hospital with a knife in your stomach.“

Aim
§ 1. The aim of this federal law is the encouragement of integration by the strengthening of participation in society, and by securing the peaceful living together in Austria.
Integration is a process that involves the entire society, and its success depends on the participation of everyone living in Austria, and it depends on personal interaction.
Ban of Veiling
§ 2. (1) Whoever, in public spaces or in public buildings, veils or covers his facial features with clothes or other items, in a way that they are not recognizable anymore, commits an administrative offense, and will be punished with a fee of up to 150 Euro. The administrative offense may be penalized by a traffic ticket according to § 50 VStG up to 150 Euro. Public spaces or public buildings are places that are always or at certain times accessible by a non-restricted group of people, including the non-stationary facilities of public bus-, rail-, flight- and nautic transport.
(2) It is not an offense against the prohibition of veiling according to paragraph 1 when the veiling or covering of the face is necessary by federal or national law, when it is part of artistic, cultural or traditional events or sports exercise, or when it is for reasons of health or profession.

The Catalan Caliphate

SPAIN – In view of the clashes in Catalonia, we have collected some background for you, shedding light on the Catalan government, and their role in making their region a stronghold of Salafist Islam.

1. The Catalan Caliphate

The attackers of Barcelona and Cambrils murdered at least 16 people – a 51-year old German succumbed to her injuries last week. Nothing is known about her identity. German victims seldom have names. 24 victims are still treated in hospitals, 5 of them are in critical condition.

It is hardly a coincidence that the gravest attack in Spain, since Madrid 2004, was carried out in the Catalan capital. Catalonia is a stronghold of political Islam, and for one single reason:

Because the Catalan separatists have extremely pushed the immigration of Muslims from Marocco and Pakistan over the last 30 years.

The central person of the Catalan independence movement is Jordi Pujol, from 1980 to 2003 president of the Generalitat de Catalunya, in other words the governor of Catalonia, and until 2003 the chair of the Party Convergència i Unió (CiU). There are a number of court cases ongoing against him and his 7 children for money laundering and corruption in the billions. The Catalan Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya (CDC), an alliance of Pujol’s CiU and the christian-democratic Unió Democràtica de Catalunya (UDC) was, from 1979 to 2003, in power without interruption.

During this whole time, the CDC pocketed 3% of the contracts they awarded from the companies that got the contract. Alone the Pujol clan moved at least 31 million Euro in cash over the past years to black accounts in Andorra.

Pujol made his fortune with corruption, but his greatest worry was the low birth rate in Catalonia. The shrinkage of „real“ Catalans was impossible to compensate for with immigrants from Murcia and Andalusia. When the economy started to flourish in the 1990s, the separatists worried that the new jobs would be taken by hundreds of thousands of Hispano-Americans. They thought that, as the Spanish-speaking Hispanics did not speak Catalan, they therefore would further the assimilation of the Catalan culture into the Spanish culture.

So a few particularly bright heads got the idea to bring predominantly Muslims from Morocco and Pakistan into the Country – if they need to learn a new language anyway, the government could make them learn Catalan.

The separatists hoped to get cohorts of cheap labor forces that way, which they could win for the separatist movement. Would a worker, who could only speak Catalan and Arabic, and depend on social benefits, be able to leave Catalonia?

Once arrived, Catalanism would surely turn the Muslims into Catalan nationalists. It’s alright as long as they just sing the Els Segadors, the Catalan national anthem, and wave the Estelada, the Catalan flag. And of course cheer for the FC Barcelona.

Then, Integration would just naturally occur by itself.

The consequences of this strategy are widely visible. The Muslim population grew to more than 500,000 – more than parties like the Partid Popular (PP), Podemos or Candidatura d’Unitat Popular (CUP) have voters. 2012, the second most common name in the province of Girona was Mohammed. In the region of Segarra (Lérida), 55% of the children born in 2014 had foreign mothers. The community of Salt (Girona), in which 12,000 of the 30,000 inhabitants are Muslims, became a „New Mecca of the radical Salafists“. The mayor of Salt said a few years ago in a radio interview, that the Muslim population were increasingly radicalizing:

„Just a few years ago, the women from Maghreb were rather Western-oriented, now you see increasingly less of that. The high number of Muslim inhabitants of Salt attracted Imams, who enforce the adherence to Islamic rules and dress codes. Back in the days, Muslim women usually wore jeans, now they cover their hair. These Imams do not encourage the living together.“

Besides Salt, other towns too became centres of Salafist Islam in Spain. The movement has its seat in Tarragona, but has important branches in Badalona, Calafell, Cunit, El Vendrel, Gerona, Lleida, Mataró, Reus, Roda de Bara, Rubí, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Sant Boi, Torredembarra, Valls, Vic and Vilanova. Barcelona alone has got 5 Salafist mosques. Just like elsewhere, the Salafists in Catalonia preach that the Sharia law is above Spanish law, they push the development of Muslim parallel societies, and have established sharia courts, that watch over the adherence to Islamic rules.

With the help of the separatists, Catalonia became one of the most important mediterranean centres of radical Islamists. On October 2., 2007, the US embassador to spain, Eduardo Aguirre, sent a 5-page telegraph to Washington. In this classified document, which was published in El País, Madrid, it says, among others:

„Strong immigration – legal as well as illegal – from Northern Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria) and South-East Asia (Pakistan and Bangladesch) made Catalonia a magnet for terrorist recruitment… The Spanish police estimate there are in Barcelona and the near vicinity more than 60,000 Pakistani, who are in the majority male, unmarried or unaccompanied, and without a legal [residence] title. Even more such immigrants are from northern Africa. They live at the fringes of the Spanish society, they do not speak the language, often they are unemployed, and have just few places where they can practice their religion in dignity. Each one of these circumstances alone would make a fertile ground for recruitment as a terrorist, all of these together, the threat is obvious.

There is little doubt that the Autonomous Region Catalonia has become an operational basis for terrorist activities. The Spanish government tells us that they fear the threat from these small-cell immigrant societies, which are gullible to radicalization, but they have little means to infiltrate them by intelligence.“

The attacks of Barcelona and Cambrils were neither acts of nature, nor regrettable isolated cases. They did not come over the people without warning, and they weren’t inavoidable. The terror cell of Imam Es Satty was a consequence of faulty Immigration politics.

2. The Islamic Republic of Catalonia

A successful push for independence in the Spanish autonomous region of Catalonia would lead to the establishment of a country with the third-largest percentage of Muslims in Western Europe, just behind France and Belgium, and far ahead of Britain and Germany.

An independent Catalonia, with its capital in Barcelona, would also be home to the largest concentration of radical Islamists in Europe; it would emerge as ground-zero for Salafi-Jihadism on the continent and become one of the top incubators for Islamist terrorism in the West.

3. Catalonia to Muslims: Support Independence, Get Mega-Mosque

Qatar to Fund Third-Largest Mosque in the World

Muslim leaders in the Spanish autonomous region of Catalonia say they have been promised a mega-mosque in Barcelona if they support independence from Spain in a referendum set for November 9.

Officials from the Catalonia’s ruling Convergence and Union Party (CiU) are seeking the ballots of all of the roughly 100,000 Muslims in the region who are eligible to vote. “If you support us in the referendum, there will be a mosque,” CiU officials are said to have promised Muslim leaders, according to Spanish media.

The mega-mosque in question is said to involve a 2.2 billion euro ($3 billion) project to convert a historic bullfighting stadium in Barcelona into the third-largest mosque in the world, after those in Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

AfD: “Our Political Enemies Are Planting A Seed Of Violence”

Berlin – Excerpts from the Federal press conference yesterday, with AfD’s Alexander Gauland, Alice Weidel, and Jörg Meuthen.

On other parties’ accusations of AfD being “Nazis”, Jörg Meuthen says that this rhetoric is planting a seed of violence which, for example, led to his partner and her daughter being physically attacked on Sunday.
Alexander Gauland explains what he meant at Sunday’s election, when he said “We will chase Merkel” and “We are going to take our country back” (see our report here). Not that it needs much explanation to any sensible person; but as the media and the Left are not sensible, apparently a lot of people thought he literally wanted to chase Merkel around the Bundestag with a bow and arrow.
Gauland also says there haven’t been parliamentary debates in the German Bundestag for years, decisions were just “rubberstamped, and that he wants to see real debates return to the Bundestag.
Alice Weidel says law is breached since 2015; she wants to see Germany return to the rule of law.

This is, by the way, the very same press conference that Frauke Petry had walked out yesterday, see our report here.
Update: Just while we are writing this, an uncomfirmed news report comes in that Frauke Petry is leaving the AfD. We will keep you informed.

Berlin – In a press conference today, Frauke Petry puzzled attendants by attacking her fellow AfD members, announcing that she will move into the Bundestag independently and not as part of the AfD faction, and walking out of the room, leaving Alexander Gauland, Alice Weidel and Jörg Meuthen slightly consternated.

A source in the AfD tells us:

Frauke Petry stands for strategic rather than contentual positions within the AfD. She has often stated her aim, to get the AfD ready for forming a coalition within the next four years to be able to co-govern. Therefore, she rejects what she calls “fundamental opposition”. What she wants is to become acceptable for the CDU.


Becoming acceptable for the CDU

Obviously, this would mean massive concessions to the old parties. But this is exactly what the majority of AfD members do not want. Because of her strategy, she also massively lost support from the so-called “moderates”.
Her “realpolitik proposal” was rejected at the party convention in Cologne, but not because the AfD do not want to make ‘realpolitik’, but because the assertion of two irreconcilable AfD factions would have divided the party – in a time when, under the increasing attacks from outside, unity and solidarity among the AfD would have been so important.

Adopt the course that Petry proposes, or lose her support

Petry repeatedly expressed that either the AfD will adopt the course that she proposes, or lose her support. This was not well received in the AfD, a direct democratic party, where the decision-making process works from the base to the top and not the other way around. Lucke [the party’s original founder – translator] failed with a similar attempt in 2015.
The uncexpected success in the Bundestag election strengthened Gauland and Weidel, whom Petry had publicly criticized even during the election campaign, and weakened Petry.
Many convinced Petry-supporters resented her for not just not supporting the AfD in the election campaign, but even attacking them several times. She has been largely isolated in the federal executive board for quite some time now. Her prospects of leading the party have continually diminuished.
It seems that she drew her consequences today.

AfD: WE WILL CHASE MERKEL

“We will chase Mrs. Merkel, and we will take our country and our people back!”, this is how Alexander Gauland comments the AfD’s triumphant result in today’s German Bundestag elections.

The young immigration and Islam critical party, that was only founded in 2013, came in third with 13% in the western German states, second even, with 21%, in the former East German states and in east Berlin.

The losers are Germany’s traditionally largest parties, who have been ruling since the foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany: SPD (Social Democrats) and Union (CDU+CSU).

The slight gain for both the Greens and Die Linke (the former East German dictatorial party) is surprising. Observers were expecting to see at least the Greens drop below 5%, now that the devastating financial and security problems caused by the migrant crisis are becoming impossible to ignore. But apparently, the radical left will not be convinced by facts.

With today being the Union’s worst result in their history ever, widely attributed to Merkel’s refugee policies, observers do not think that Merkel will be able to politically survive the next four years. The CDU, and particularly the CSU, will in all likelihood try to get rid of her, to prevent an even worse result in 2021.

The CSU, whose results contribute a significant part of the Union’s overall 32%, dropped from 49% (2013) to 38.5% in Bavaria, and have already announced a sharp turn to the right:
“We had an open flank on the right. It will be crucial to close this flank in the next weeks” comments CSU chief Horst Seehofer.

Merkel and top CSU politicians – her guarantors to power – at yesterday’s catastrophic speech in Munich, which saw Merkel humiliated by the crowd. Her allies will probably try to get rid of her soon.

These will be interesting four years for Germany. It seems safe to say at this point that the country will take a turn to the right. Just like in the USA, the left will probably not accept democratic results and resort to civil unrest.

It appears that protesters in Berlin are already initiating violence in a clash outside at the AfD election party.

20 minutes ago at 9:45 local time, leftist protesters in Leipzig tried to storm the town hall of Leipzig, where votes are still being counted, and where the AfD is holding their election party.

One man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. A cordon is in place as emergency workers continue to treat the injured.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan police said the attack was not being treated as terror related. Officers remain at the scene.”
