Mullah Omar in custody reports Big Goverment

From Big Goverment

Through key intelligence sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan, I have just learned that reclusive Taliban leader and top Osama bin Laden ally, Mullah Omar has been taken into custody.

mullah_omar-bfeac

According to the State Department’s Rewards for Justice Program there is a bounty of up to $10 million on Omar for sheltering Osama bin-Laden and his al-Qaeda network in the years prior to the September 11 attacks as well as the period during and immediately thereafter.

At the end of March, US Military Intelligence was informed by US operatives working in the Af/Pak theater on behalf of the D.O.D. that Omar had been detained by Pakistani authorities. One would assume that this would be passed up the chain and that the Secretary of Defense would have been alerted immediately.  From what I am hearing, that may not have been the case.

When this explosive information was quietly confirmed to United States Intelligence ten days ago by Pakistani authorities, it appeared to take the Defense Department by surprise. No one, though, is going to be more surprised than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.  It seems even with confirmation from the Pakistanis themselves, she was never brought up to speed.

Over the weekend, Clinton accused Pakistani Government officials of “holding back” on bin Laden intelligence.  In an interview Sunday on CBS “60 Minutes,” she said:

“I believe that somewhere in this government are people who know where Usama bin Laden and Al Qaeda is, where Mullah Omar and the leadership of the Afghan Taliban is, and we expect more cooperation to help us bring to justice, capture or kill those who attacked us on 9/11.”

OTTAWA — As of Monday morning, Nazia Quazi is free of her father’s control.

The young Muslim woman, who is a Canadian citizen and studied at the University of Ottawa, had been trapped in the Saudi Arabian capital for the past three years under the country’s male guardianship system that sees fathers speak on behalf of their unmarried daughters.

Her father refused to let the 24-year-old Quazi leave the country, allegedly because he didn’t approve of her boyfriend, Bjorn Singhal, whom she met in Ottawa.

Last night, Singhal, who had been communicating with her via text messages, reported that Quazi boarded a plane bound for Dubai, which was rolling away from the terminal when she had to turn off her phone. It landed in Dubai less than two hours later.

As soon as she was in the air, she was officially out of the reach of the male guardianship system and therefore free to make her own choices about where she lives and who she spends time with. The plan, Singhal said, is for them to marry in Dubai on Wednesday.

Quazi’s mother, who lives in Ottawa, travelled to Riyadh with her son last week, reportedly to try to convince her husband to let their daughter leave and be with her boyfriend.

It would seem she was successful as they all traveled to Dubai on Sunday night with Quazi for the wedding.

Singhal’s mother, who lives in Montreal, also travelled to Dubai on Sunday, to be there for her son’s wedding.

Singhal said the plan was to go to the high court and get married while also getting “the necessary paperwork done for Nazia to be with me legally.” Continue Reading →

Nazis now victim group in Canada

Frankly I’m not surprised. It was inevitable. Once you start extending special group status based on belief and not on something one cannot control, like genetics etc. this was guaranteed as its logical conclusion. Islam for example, is a choice. Yet we give it the same victim status as a group that faces true discrimination based on factors beyond the individuals control. And now, if you belong to an unfashionable political persuasion as well as a religion antithetical to a liberal world, you get special protection under the law.

‘Nazi’ listed as an identifiable victim group in Toronto Police’s 2009 hate crime stats report

Can Nazis be victims of hate?

According to Toronto Police’s 2009 report on hate and bias crime statistics, they can indeed.

In the report presented to the Police Services Board on April 22, Nazi is listed as one of the 27 identified victim groups targeted in hate-motivated criminal acts in 2009.

Under the breakdown of occurrences by police division, “Nazi” is listed as the victim group for one mischief offence that was reported in 13 Division. The west-end division polices parts of Forest Hill, Davenport, Cedarvale and Dovercourt.

In the report’s executive summary, Nazi also appears under the listing of “new victim group” for 2009; these are the identifiable groups that have not appeared in the previous hate/bias crime reports.

The category is puzzling, given that Nazi typically refers to a political party. Political organizations do not appear to fall under any of the hate/bias category codes used throughout the report’s charts and tables.

The Toronto Police definition of hate/bias crime is a “criminal offence committed against a person or property, where there is evidence that the offence was motivated by bias, prejudice or hate based on the victim’s race, nationality or ethnic origin, language, colour, religion, sex, age mental of physical disability, sexual orientation, or any other similar factor.”

Teen raped at Stockholm swimming pool

From The Local Se. I wonder why he thought it was consensual? Could it be that she was not wearing a hijab?

A 19-year-old woman has reported that she was raped in a toilet at the Eriksdalsbadet swimming pool in central Stockholm on Sunday, her 15-year-old alleged attacker has claimed that she consented.

The 15-year-old boy turned himself into police on Sunday evening.

“He had seen television footage and though that perhaps that he was the one we were looking for,” said Lars-Erik Baarsen at Södermalm’s police.

The boy was interviewed during the evening and was later released on the advice of the prosecutor.

“They have had sex but he perceived it as consensual,” said Tomas Järnkrok at Södermalm’s police after hearing the boy’s version of events.

The 19-year-old girl was at Eriksdalsbadet, the largest and most-visited of central Stockholm’s swimming pools, with a friend. When she left the pool to go to the toilet she claims that she was raped by the boy.

The teenager was taken to Stockholm South General Hospital’s rape clinic for care.

Goldstone Altered UN Letterhead to Hide Report’s Tainted Origins

Analysis and Commentary from UN Watch in Geneva
May 10, 2010 — Issue 230

The UN Human Rights Council, dominated by dictatorships like China, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia, concluded its last session by once again turning a blind eye to millions of victims of human rights violations in 187 countries, including of the well-documented repression and killings this year in Iran, China, and Nigeria.

The 47-nation council instead devoted an inordinate amount of its limited time and diplomatic resources to resolutions targeting Israel, texts that effectively legitimized Hamas terrorism. In particular, the council adopted a new resolution to perpetuate the Goldstone Report — a deeply flawed and one-sided text that rejected any Israeli self-defence as an act of “futility” — by creating a new UN committee of so-called legal experts that will keep the Hamas-supported accusations alive in future reports; requiring the UN rights chief to raise the report in future sessions; and establishing a new escrow fund for Palestinian victims of last year’s Israel-Hamas war, but not for any Israeli victims — not the dead and wounded from more than 10,000 rocket attacks, and not for the hundreds of thousands of traumatized citizens.

Following is the UN Watch speech during the Goldstone Report debate, as delivered by Cindy Tan, 2009-2010 Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fellow at UN Watch. Ms. Tan’s earlier testimony on her family’s suffering in the Cambodian genocide can be viewed here

UN Human Rights Council, 13th Regular Session
Agenda Item 7: “Follow-up to Special Sessions (S-12/1 and S-9/1)”
UN Watch Testimony delivered by Cindy Tan

Thank you, Mr. President.

Resolution S-9/1, under which we meet today to once again discuss the Goldstone Report, was adopted on 12 January 2009. This was the text that established the fact finding mission, focused only on alleged Israeli crimes, and declared Israel guilty from the start—of “massive violations.”

At the same time, the Goldstone Mission, all must admit, adopted a curious attitude toward its founding resolution.

In Annex II of the Goldstone Report we see the following. On 3 April 2009, the day he was named to head it, Judge Goldstone’s first act was to write to Israel under the following letterhead: “Human Rights Council International Independent Fact Finding Mission Established by Resolution S-9/1.” Continue Reading →

OTTAWA — A retired naval officer from Ottawa is giving back a medal of honour in protest of the Saudi government’s treatment of a Canadian citizen.

And he hopes others will follow suit.

Mark Brousseau, who served on HMCS Athabaskan in the early 1990s during the first Gulf war, received the Liberation of Kuwait medal from the government of Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday morning, he’ll head to the Saudi embassy in Ottawa to return it to the ambassador to protest the country’s male guardianship system that has kept 24-year-old Canadian Nazia Quazi in the country against her will.

The Muslim woman, whose mother and brother live in Ottawa, went to Saudi three years ago to visit her father and to do the Umrah, the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.

But once she arrived, her father, whom she claims doesn’t approve of her boyfriend, took her travel documentation and identification and has refused to let her leave the country. In Saudi Arabia, the male guardianship system says that fathers must make decisions for their unmarried daughters. Quazi lives in housing provided by her employer, and says her father, whom she alleges has beaten her in the past, is becoming increasingly violent and abusive. MPs Paul Dewar and Bob Rae have called for action. Deepak Obhrai, minister of state for foreign affairs, says the government is in contact with Saudi officials, but can’t do much because of the country’s rules. Continue Reading →

Just one individual prevented an overall Tory majority: David Cameron

By Gerald Warner, The Telegraph

The shrill denunciations of the media on election night by Joanne Cash, the defeated Tory candidate in the supposedly “shoo-in” seat of Westminster North, amounted to more than the chagrin of a failed political aspirant: they expressed the rage of thwarted Entitlement. Cash was the candidate who resigned in a huff last February, only to be reinstated by Dave, on which occasion she famously Tweeted: “It’s official DC has changed the party!!!!!!!!” Her message to old-guard Conservatives was: “RIP dinosaurs.”

Last Thursday, in political terms, it was RIP Cash. What does it tell us about the judgment of the man who now aspires to be Prime Minister and lead us through the perils of international global meltdown that he should have championed such a candidate? His failure to win a majority was largely attributable to his imposition on constituency associations of trendy, metropolitan, A-List candidates. Their performance was abysmal.

In the notorious Tatler magazine feature on 10 young Cameronian stars published in September 2008, Joanne Cash was tipped as a future Housing Minister. Equally implausibly, Shaun Bailey was regarded as a future Home Secretary, Mark Clarke as Trade and Industry Secretary and Annunziata Rees-Mogg as Defence Secretary (honestly, I am not making this up). All of them crashed and burned last Thursday: of the 10 much-hyped “Tatler” thrusters, only two were elected. Of the original 100 A-List candidates, two-thirds were defeated. Continue Reading →

A Red Rebel Hit Job on Geert Wilders

H/T PI Article lifted Verbatim from PI News

Joost and Mags

Joost van der Valk and Mags Gavan

A Dutch film-making outfit known as Red Rebel Films has recently approached various European and American anti-jihad activists and asked to interview them for a documentary about Geert Wilders. The filmmakers have described their project as an objective look at the Dutch politician, and not an attack piece.

By Sukarno

So who are Red Rebel Films? What do we know about their objectivity when it comes to the subject of their upcoming documentary?

According to the Red Rebel website:

RedRebel Films is dedicated to filmmaking that promotes change. We uncover stories that need to be told and produce cutting edge programmes that enlighten, challenge, and provoke opinion.

[…]

RedRebel Films is a multi award winning documentary company formed in 2007 by filmmakers Mags Gavan and Joost van der Valk.

Nothing alarming here so far. They are based in London, Cardiff, and Amsterdam. Their experience in film is outlined on their “About” page:

When Mags eventually left BBC and joined forces with Joost, they dedicated their careers to making hard hitting films with a purpose, and set up RedRebel.

[…]

Immediately they began making cutting edge current affairs documentaries such as Kashmir’s Missing Men (about the independence struggle in Indian Kashmir).

Their site, however, fails to mention that the film about Kashmir has a pro-Muslim point of view. Does this provide a clue about Red Rebel’s attitude towards Wilders?

When he sent emails to people that he wanted to interview, Joost van der Valk explained that his film company was working on a programme for Dutch Television (VPRO) about the PVV and other similar parties which strongly oppose Islam in Europe. Continue Reading →

STRATFOR: Pakistani Taliban behind Times Square attempt

May 9, 2010
The Pakistani Taliban were behind the attempted bombing in New York’s Times Square, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said May 9, Reuters reported. Speaking on ABC television’s “This Week,” Holder said there is evidence of the Pakistani Taliban’s involvement but there was nothing to suggest the Pakistani government knew of the attempt. Holder said the administration is satisfied with the amount of cooperation the Pakistani government was giving in the investigation.

Life for many Norwegians in Norway.

For those of you that have Fox Lingo in firefox, or any other translation software on their browser, have a look at this. The left has reached it’s logical conclusion in Norway. Where racism is bad, but affirmative action is good, it is absolutely certain that active hatred of white people will be fine and any attempt to resist it is racism.

The left love to play word games. As if somehow, affirmative action is not racism. Well, I hope they like the results. Scratch that, I’m certain they do. This is after all, what they where after.

Tundra Tabloids does a report on this in English here.

Which reminds me of another video from Scandinavia on the same subject. One which was pulled from youtube even though thousands of ‘kill the jew’ videos remain there. (I do not blame youtube for that, chances are they don’t have enough Dutch and Arabic speakers to deal)

Fiasco that would shame the third world

???Daily Mail on UK General Election:
Hung parliament or not, the General Election produced one clear result on the night. All the TV pundits agreed that this was one of the most shambolic, incompetent and fraudulent elections Britain has ever witnessed.

From widespread allegations of postal-vote fraud, to the hugely unreliable electoral register, to the scenes of mutiny outside polling stations that were closed before hundreds had been able to vote, this was a disgrace to the democratic process.

These are abuses of process one might expect in a banana republic, not in the land that gave us the Mother of all Parliaments.

Flare up: Voters in Fallowfield, Manchester, were outraged when officials told them that they were too late to vote

Having acted as an official observer in more than a hundred polls across the old Communist bloc, I have witnessed more incompetence and corruption than I care to remember. Yet this week’s British election has shocked even seasoned monitors like me. As one friend from Azerbaijan remarked archly to me yesterday, ‘At least in my country, we have managed chaos.’

What he meant was that while many corrupt governments around the world actively fiddle elections, in Britain we have witnessed fiasco rather than state-sponsored fraud.
