2. It should be noted that we live in times where devout Christians are fighting for the right to use scientific reality in practice. While many people will perhaps rightfully argue that Christianity and science are not incompatible, I write this based on the popular perception of Christianity based on films like Inherit the Wind, about the Scopes Monkey trial.

Thus leftism is infinitely more antagonistic to reason and science than Christianity, certainly now, if not always.

4. Another Christian Church on the brink of destruction due to efforts by long marcher progressives. As I understand it, a ranking member of the Methodist Church in the US, a Bishop or something, sent down an order for all clergy to embrace LGBT etc. Many refused, but eventually gave in. Once the individual churches gave in, the congregations were split and often up to half the attendees left the Church. It is not hard to see how this will bring the whole church down as the remainder will A. not be acing in accordance with scripture, so its kinda pointless and B. there won’t be enough of them to sustain the infrastructure of the Church as it is. This article deals with some of this. But what should be observed is that the forced change away from Christian thought came from above and the threat was to end the careers of clergy who did not go with switching from Christianity to Neo-Marxism.

4. French police arrest five, including an imam, in connection with knife attack on Paris police station

French police arrested overnight five people, including a Salafist imam, in connection with Mickael Harpon, the IT expert at Paris police headquarters who killed four colleagues in a knife attack this month.

 

Police swooped on the individuals in three locations in the northern suburbs of Paris around near the home of Harpon, 45, who was killed at the end of his stabbing spree on October 3.

 

The murders sparked soul-searching over how a man who converted to Islam 10 years ago and had adopted increasingly radical beliefs escaped detection despite working at a police intelligence unit whose job is to identity terror threats.

5. At least ten dead’ as convoy including foreign journalists and aid workers is shelled ‘by Turkish forces’ in northern Syria border town

At least ten people have been killed after a convoy of journalists, aid workers and civilians was shelled by Turkish forces today. 

 

The convoy guarded by armed men was hit when it arrived in Ras al-Ain (Sari Kani), a border town that advancing Turkish-allied forces have seized. 

A neighbourhood on the edge of the town remains in the hands of Kurdish-led fighters.

 

A spokesman for the Kurdish forces, said 11 were killed and 74 injured but it was not clear how many were civilians.

The strikes have led French President Emmanuel Macron to warn that Turkey’s offensive risks creating an ‘unsustainable humanitarian situation’ in the region.

6. Illegal migrant once deported, mocks Salvini after sneaking back into Italy

An illegal Tunisian migrant, who had been deported from Italy, mocked populist leader Matteo Salvini after getting back into the country, saying he was glad Salvini was gone.

The Tunisian is one of around 2,000 migrants who have landed in Italy in September and was interviewed by Italian media on the island of Lampedusa last week, Italian broadcaster TGCOM24 reports.

 

“I came in 2011. They expelled me in 2019. I had a residence permit. Then I participated in a fight, and they denounced me. Because at that time, there was Salvini,” the Tunisian said.

 

“I know he’s not there anymore and I’m happy about it,” he added. The migrant confirmed that many in Tunisia knew that Salvini was no longer in the Italian government and claimed that more migrants were leaving the North African country for Italy every day.

 

Senator Salvini reacted to the interview with the Tunisian by saying: “‘Expelled because of Salvini, he is already back. And with the new [Italian] government, many migrants are ready to leave Tunisia to come to Italy.’ This is madness! Shame on you Conte, you are destroying Italy!”

7. Paris No-Go Suburb Activist Arrested Trying to Pay Homage to Islamist Cop Killer

Far-left activist Hadama Traoré was arrested in the no-go Paris suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis after attempting to pay homage to Mickael Harpon, an Islamic convert who murdered four people at a Paris police station.

The activist and founder the ‘The Revolution Is on the Move’ movement had previously called on supporters in Seine-Saint-Denis to demonstrate in support of Mr Harpon. He claims the suspected cop killer was not a terrorist and labels the media as disseminating “misinformation”, Le Parisienreports.

 

Harpon, an IT professional working at the police headquarters in Paris, killed four people including a female supervisor who he stabbed to death with a ceramic knife. The 45-year-old was later shot and died of his wounds.

8. Extinction Rebellion Members Paid £400 Per Week to ‘Shut Down’ Britain

Extinction Rebellion protestors are paid up to £400 per week to “shut down” Britain, according to documents revealed by a British newspaper. 

Documents revealed to The Mail on Sunday show that the far-left climate change alarmist group has paid activists over £70,000 during a four-month span and more than £200,000 since the founding of the group. 

 

The list of financial backers of ‘XR’ is not made fully public, but some high profile elite donors include ‘master of puppets’ billionaire activist George Soros, the son of British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, the granddaughter of oil magnate John Paul Getty, and the rock band Radiohead, amongst others.

 

Extinction Rebellion’s finances have come under scrutiny as the group has paid no taxes on the money it has paid to its activist members.A document seen by The Mail on Sunday showed that even members of the group have become concerned, saying that HMRC would “crawl all over us” and that they expected fines from the government in the range of £150,000 to £200,000.
