Ezra does his best expose on the CBC yet
Sun News is a dream come true for me. At least the things I have wanted to see in Canada since Trudeau are being said and done. I have resented the CBC’s self appointed pseudo vox populi at my expense for decades, not to mention their odiferous sanctimony while doing it. Seeing them called on to the same mattress that they routinely bring their idealistic enemies on to and watching them break the law trying to avoid it is very satisfying.
Obama admin uses moral equivalence between murderer and the victims.
I wonder. Did the Obama admin call for restraint on all sides when that reporter was gang raped in Cairo? Did he say that the American Reporter perhaps shouldn’t have looked so “Jewish” to cause all those men to humiliate and sexually assault her? Cause that is what he is doing to the victims in Egypt now.

Madness! …Secret diary of a Labour Immigration Minister who rails against Human Rights Act !
A Labour former Immigration Minister last night said Theresa May was right to say human rights laws make a mockery of the way Britain deals with asylum seekers.
Phil Woolas also released extracts from an explosive diary revealing the ‘absurd’ degree to which the immigration service was hampered by court rulings on human rights.
Mr Woolas, Immigration Minister from October 2008 until the 2010 election, was unaware of the cat ruling until he saw it in newspapers. But to back his case that the Human Rights Act and European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) were crippling the immigration system, he released extracts from his private diary as a minister.
Published below, they reveal his anger at learning:
- Osama Bin Laden’s son could use British Freedom of Information rules to see Government files rejecting his visa application, even though he lived in the Middle East.
- A suspected drug lord was freed because the French navy vessel which caught him took too long to bring him to port and charge him.
- A convicted rapist due to be deported could still get British legal aid in India to fight for custody of his estranged son.
- There was a challenge to the Lords against deporting someone to Greece because the Greek asylum system might breach the person’s human rights. Continue Reading →

And I bet none of the British media will find it odd, that a black councilor was suspended for supporting an organization, that also supports him, because it is allegedly racist and “far right wing”

A black Conservative councillor has been suspended from his party after attending a rally organised by the far right English Defence League.
Dr Blaine Robin was the subject of widespread speculation after being spotted at the group’s meeting in Southend, Essex, earlier this year.
An internal investigation will now be held by the Conservatives to decide whether he should be permanently expelled from the party, although leading Tories said they believed the controversy to be an ‘error of judgment’.
Anna Waite, chairman of the Rochford and Southend East Conservative Association, said: ‘We abhor and condemn far right groups such as the EDL.
‘I would like to make it clear that Blaine has been active in fighting against racism and intolerance for many years and that, at this stage, it appears his behaviour in associating with the EDL represents a serious error of judgement, but no more.
‘However, given the controversy surrounding this group, we feel it is appropriate we take this action in order to fully reassure members of the community who may be concerned.’
The EDL, which opposes what it perceives as the spread of Islam, Sharia law and Islamic extremism in England, was formed in 2009. Continue Reading →

As a Canadian Jew, I make a habit of always booking vacations on certain Jewish holidays. Last week’s Rosh Hashanah is one that I always book well in advance, and take vacation days to celebrate. Every year I’m asked by a few colleagues what Rosh Hashanah is about. This year, for some reason, the questions kept coming in.
I thought it was strange, because just a month earlier, those very same colleagues seemed to have a great grasp of the meaning and customs of Ramadan and Eid.
So I tried an interesting exercise. I Googled ‘Rosh Hashanah’ on CBC.ca, just to find out what CBC had reported about this major Jewish holiday in the past year.
Would you believe that this year, CBC didn’t publish a single report describing Rosh Hashanah?
In fact, the only CBC stories that mentioned ‘Rosh Hashanah’, were the ones reporting how residents of Hampstead Quebec are irritated because of a bylaw that prevents them from making noise on Rosh Hashanah. While I agree with the irritated residents of Hampstead, I’m curious how CBC doesn’t have a single report describing what Rosh Hashanah is all about, or when it starts and ends. That’s a peculiar omission.
Then I did the same Google search for ‘Ramadan’ and ‘Eid’, the recent Muslim holidays that people seem to know quite a bit about.
Ramadan and Eid are reported richly – great detail. Not only does CBC describe the meaning of these holidays, but it also published slideshows that show the Muslim community celebrating across Canada and around the world. The CBC coverage brings home to Canadians what these holidays mean, with featured anecdotes, like the story of two young American-born Muslims who completed a road trip, crossing the U.S. in a quest to worship at 30 mosques, in 30 states, in the 30 days of Ramadan.

A court has found News Limited columnist Andrew Bolt breached the Racial Discrimination Act.
HERALD Sun columnist Andrew Bolt has lost an action brought in the Federal Court in which the columnist was accused of breaching the Racial Discrimination Act.
Bolt was found to have contravened Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.
Nine aboriginal applicants brought a class-action against Bolt and the Herald and Weekly Times claiming Bolt wrote they sought professional advantage from the colour of their skin. Continue Reading →
New Studies Show Severe Racial Discrimination at University of Wisconsin

Tuesday, 13 September 2011 (Madison, WI) Two studies released today by the Center for Equal Opportunity reveal severe discrimination based on race and ethnicity in undergraduate and law school admissions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with African Americans and Latinos given preference over whites and Asians.
The studies are based on data supplied by the schools themselves, some of which the university had refused to turn over until a lawsuit was filed by CEO and successfully taken all the way to the state supreme court. The studies were prepared by Dr. Althea Nagai, a research fellow at CEO, and can be viewed on the organization’s website, www.ceousa.org.
CEO president Roger Clegg will answer questions about the studies when they are formally released at a press conference today at 11:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree hotel in Madison—525 W. Johnson St.
The odds ratio favoring African Americans and Hispanics over whites was 576-to-1 and 504-to-1, respectively, using the SAT and class rank while controlling for other factors. Thus, the median composite SAT score for black admittees was 150 points lower than for whites and Asians, and the Latino median SAT score was 100 points lower. Using the ACT, the odds ratios climbed to 1330-to-1 and 1494-to-1, respectively, for African Americans and Hispanics over whites.
For law school admissions, the racial discrimination found was also severe, with the weight given to ethnicity much greater than given to, for example, Wisconsin residency. Thus, an out-of-state black applicant with grades and LSAT scores at the median for that group would have had a 7 out 10 chance of admission and an out-of-state Hispanic a 1 out of 3 chance—but an in-state Asian with those grades and scores had a 1 out of 6 chance and an in-state white only a 1 out of 10 chance.
CEO chairman Linda Chavez noted: “This is the most severe undergraduate admissions discrimination that CEO has ever found in the dozens of studies it has published over the last 15 years.” Chavez also noted: “The studies show that literally hundreds of students applying as undergrads or to the law school are rejected in favor of students with lower test scores and grades, and the reason is that they have the wrong skin color or their parents came from the wrong countries.”
Roger Clegg added: “The latest census figures have dramatically underscored that America is increasingly multiethnic and multiracial. In such country, is simply untenable for our institutions—including public universities—to engage in politically correct but divisive and unfair discrimination.”
The Center for Equal Opportunity recently joined an amicus brief challenging the use of racial preferences at the University of Texas, in a case for which review by the U.S. Supreme Court will be sought this week.

Maybe it is time to actually get a working definition of what racism actually means, given it has become the RPG of words. For me, the racism of lower expectations pretty much defines racism. Treating a person differently and cruelly because they are of another group or treating them like a toy poodle are equally racist although certainly the latter might be preferable to the former, at least in the short run.

Some police officers are ‘barely literate’ because the educational standards required to join the service are so low, it was claimed last night.
Tom Winsor, the lawyer reviewing police conditions, said reading, writing and mathematical skills have fallen ‘significantly’ since the 1930s.
He suggested that the public could be at risk if poor academic skills damage the effectiveness of potentially vital evidence.

Mr Winsor said criminal barristers sometimes ‘speak in contemptuous terms’ of the ‘barely literate’ quality of police evidence.
While checking and rewriting poor quality paperwork was increasing the cost and bureaucracy of policing.
