Press TV gets it sort of right with the Paris anti-sharia conference
Iranian state TV, Press TV, covered the counter jihad conference in Paris this weekend and actually got some of it right. The fact is however, the praying in the street has little to nothing to do with “not enough mosque space” and everything to do with establishing the primacy of Islam in France. Many mosques go empty during the Friday ‘prayer’ demonstrations of the power of Islam in France.
The comments on the youtube page for this video came in fast and furious. Some might amuse.
Prominent Jews Leave Amsterdam over Anti-Semitism

A son of a prominent rabbi in the Netherlands has announced plans to move to Israel due to anti-Semitism. Benzion Evers, son of well-known Dutch rabbi Raphael Evers, told De Telegraaf that he feels “suffocated and caged” in his home country due to anti-Jewish sentiment.
“I’m fed up with the verbal abuse and the streetfighting,” he told Het Parool, another Dutch paper.
“It’s not that you can’t leave the house, but you need to constantly hide, to be careful,” he explained. He related his own cautionary measures, which include avoiding certain neighborhoods, and hiding his kippah (yalmulke) when walking through areas with a high number of Muslim immigrants.
While anti-Semitism is not uncommon among Muslim immigrants, particularly those from Morocco and Turkey, there is a second kind of anti-Semitism that is common in the Netherlands as well, Evers said, an educated anti-Semitism that is disguised as anti-Zionism.
Five of the Evers’ family children have already left the Netherlands, he added, and his father plans to move as well after retirement. More than half of orthodox Jews end up leaving the country, he stated.
Just days earlier, Dutch politician Frits Bolkestein stated that religious Jews have no future in the Netherlands due to anti-Semitism. They should “emigrate to the U.S. or Israel,” he said. His comments were published in the book “The Decay: Jews in a Rudderless Netherlands” by Manfred Gerstenfeld.
The main cause of increasing hostility to Jews is “anti-Semitism among Dutchmen of Moroccan descent, whose numbers keep growing,” Bolkestein stated. He expressed doubt that the government is capable of fighting anti-Semitism and protecting its Jewish citizens. Continue Reading →
NICOLAS Sarkozy will take another lurch to the Right with a speech on New Year’s Eve calling Muslim prayers in the street “unacceptable”.

After his expulsions of gypsies and a crackdown on immigrant crime, the French President will warn that the overflow of Muslim faithful on to the streets at prayer time when mosques are packed to capacity risks undermining the French secular tradition separating state and religion.
He will doubtless be accused of pandering to the far Right: the issue of Muslim prayers in the street has been brought to the fore by Marine Le Pen, the charismatic new figurehead of the National Front, who compared it to the wartime occupation of France.
Her words provoked uproar on the Left, whose commentators took them as evidence that far from being the gentler face of the far Right, Ms Le Pen, 42, is no different from Jean-Marie, 82, her father, who has been accused of racism and Holocaust denial.
According to his aide, Mr Sarkozy agrees with the junior Le Pen that the street cannot be allowed to become “an extension of the mosque” as it does in some parts of Paris, which are closed to traffic because of the overflow of the faithful. University under fire as a ‘hotbed of extremism’

Muslim extremists were trying to recruit students outside the University of Bedfordshire more than a year ago – but police were powerless to stop them.
On Monday (December 13) it emerged that last weekend’s Stockholm suicide bomber Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly had graduated with a BSc in sports therapy from the University of Luton.
Abdulwahab, 28, lived in Argyll Avenue, Luton, and was enrolled between 2001 and 2004, and British security services are trying to establish whether he was radicalised while he studied there.
This week fears have surfaced that the institution – now known as University of Bedfordshire – is a ‘hotbed’ for extremists and would-be terrorists.
While the university this week strenuously denied any cases of extremist activity ever having taken place on its campus, our sister paper Luton & Dunstable Express published a story in October 2009 revealing Muslim radicals were trying to recruit students outside its main entrance during Freshers’ Week.
Around 15 extremists, some of whom had branded soldiers ‘baby-killers’ and spat at them during the Royal Anglian Regiment’s homecoming parade in Luton town centre in March that year, set up two stalls outside the campus in Park Street and handed out leaflets, some of which showed a placard depicting former US President George Bush below a headline ‘Terrorist Murderer’.
In the House of Commons on Wednesday (December 16), Prime Minister David Cameron said: “If we are frank on both sides of the House, we have not done enough to deal with the promotion of extremist Islamism in our own country.
“Whether it is making sure that imams coming over to this country can speak English properly, or whether it is making sure that we de-radicalise our universities, we have to take a range of further steps, and I am going to be working hard to make sure that we do.”
The university of Bedfordshire insists there has never been a case of extremism on its campus.
But our sister paper Luton & Dunstable Express’s story in October 2009 about radicals operating outside its Park Street main entrance during Freshers’ Week shows they have tried to recruit its students in the past.

Saudi authorities have ordered a local man to deport his Chadian wife for breaking the foreign marriage law although they have two children and his wife is pregnant again, local newspapers reported on Sunday.
Police in the eastern port of Dammam this week gave Mustafa Ghalib Al-Bargi one month to deport his wife to her home country or he will face prosecution, Okaz Arabic language daily said.
“Police said they are taking these measures because Al Bargi married his foreign wife without getting permission from the authorities concerned,” it said.
It quoted Al-Bargi as saying his marriage in the Kingdom was approved and documented by the Chadian embassy in Riyadh.
The man told the paper that he has two sons aged two and three years and that his wife is pregnant again.
“Al-Bargi has broken the law and is liable for punishment,” the paper said, quoting Bandr Al-Makhlif, spokesman for the Eastern Province Police.
Spain: Muslims sue teacher for speaking about ham in class
The story below is surreal. A few short years ago, there is no way any of us would believe seriously that this could have happened. Now, a teacher in Spain is actually in real trouble, whether it is criminal, fear for his future or job, or a civil suit for just mentioning ham. We are indeed in a state of dhimmitude.

MNA Amir Khadir unapologetic for picketing store that sells Israeli-made shoes

Québec solidaire leader Amir Khadir is making no apologies for asking clients to boycott a family-owned shoe store in his own riding because it sells shoes made in Israel.
“Just because a business is in my riding, I am not going to abandon my principles,” Khadir, member of the National Assembly for Mercier, told The Gazette on Friday.
Khadir participated in a demonstration last Saturday in front of Le Marcheur shoe store on St. Denis St. at Duluth Ave., handing out flyers asking customers to boycott the store until it stopped selling Israeli-made shoes.
The demonstration was organized by Palestinian and Jewish Unity, a Montreal-based human rights group that advocates for the right of Palestinians to live in safety.
Khadir said he was asked to join the demonstration by PAJU members, and that he has participated in other PAJU demonstrations, in front of Chapters bookstore, for example, and the Israeli consulate.
PAJU has been holding regular pickets outside the Le Marcheur store since early October, because the store sells Beautifeel shoes, a brand made in Israel.
Yves Archambault, owner of Le Marcheur, said he was “sickened” to learn his own MNA was picketing his store.
“I was sickened to see him distributing flyers and stopping people who were coming into the store to tell them they shouldn’t support a business that sells Israeli products,” Archambault said.
“In Quebec we have free enterprise, and as long as it is legal, nobody has the right to tell me what I can and cannot sell in my store,” he said.
Archambault said he is “completely apolitical” and does not follow politics here or abroad. He admits he had no idea who Khadir was, until some of his employees told him.
He said he feels personally attacked by the picketers, and Khadir’s participation has made it worse.
Khadir emailed Archambault a few weeks before participating in the picket to ask him to stop selling Israeli-made products, and to explain the PAJU’s reasons for demanding a boycott of Israeli-made products and stores that sell them.
Archambault said he did not respond, because he is not interested in talking about politics.
“I don’t care where my products come from. I only care about comfort and quality,” he said.
But Khadir said business owners need to be made aware of their own power to make change. He says his party supports business but wants to get away from the “Walmart economy” and move toward fair and responsible commerce.
“Gandhi said: ‘Business without conscience is a crime,’ and buying and selling is voting,” Khadir said.
“Mr. Archambault doesn’t have to know everything, but when Jimmy Carter and Desmond Tutu are saying that Israel is practising apartheid, he has to take it seriously,” Khadir said.
Archambault said he has no intention of changing his product line.

My mother just came back from purchasing Israeli-made shoes from the store in down town Montreal that is being subjected to a boycott because it sells Israeli-made shoes. Twenty people showed up to buy shoes after Eric Duhaime called on Montrealers to show solidarity with the embattled store owner. She, with others, was greeted by about a hundred threatening Arabs with Hezbollah flags shouting anti-Semitic slogans and blocking the street completely. She says that several intimidating Arabs took her picture as she was going inside and one was even filming. One young Arab called her a Jewish sow. The store owner is getting death threats and is seriously depressed. He said that he won’t give in to these terrorists’ demands. But how long can he keep it up before going out of business? Veteran ex-serviceman savagely attacked – for wearing a Royal Air Force jacket

The victim – who does not want to be named – was left with two black eyes and a swollen nose after the attackA veteran ex-serviceman has been assaulted for wearing a Royal Air Force jacket.
The victim, who was also wearing a poppy, was walking along Sherwood Street, Fallowfield, on 1 November 2010 at 6pm when he noticed two men standing near to the entrance of the Fallowfield Loop, near to the junction of Wellington Road.
One man shouted an offensive remark about soldiers – and when the 69-year-old victim replied, he was approached from behind and punched in the head. He was then headbutted in the face, leaving him with two black eyes and a swollen nose.
The two men escaped on pedal bikes. The attackers are described as being aged 17-20 years old, and Asian or mixed race.
One man was of stocky build, 5ft 6ins tall, had thin braided hair and was wearing dark clothing. The second man was of chubby build, 5ft 4ins tall, had short shaved black hair and was wearing dark clothing.
Pc Michael Seddon from Greater Manchester Police’s Metropolitan Division said: “This was a mindless and brutal attack on a vulnerable member of the community.
“The victim was left extremely shaken and he is still recovering from his injuries.”

Good afternoon, ladies and and gentlemen.
I am delighted to be here in Paris, the birthplace of modern European secular governance. And I am especially delighted to have been invited here by Gandalf, who founded the Alliance to Stop Sharia. Gandalf has been instrumental in shifting the focus of the European Counterjihad from Islam as a religion to the evils of sharia law.
When you discuss Islam and/or sharia law, have you been accused of being an Islamophobe? A nazi? A xenophobe? A bigot? A misunderstander of Islam (copyright R. Spencer)? Have you been verbally attacked by well-meaning friends who belong either to the Leftist/Liberal spectrum and believe in the Religion of Respect and Anything Goes, or who in principle agree with you, but are sooo very afraid for you and suggest that you stop what you’re doing to stay alive. (What does that tell us about the Religion of Peace?)
I think I can safely assume that most of you, if not all, have at one point or another been subjected to some or all of the aforementioned accusations. I can certainly testify to that. But I can also tell you that I have been hauled into court to face trial for saying what I believe is the truth; a truth that many, especially those of the ruling elite, do not like to hear. Sadly, it seems that in a discussion, when one side has no real argument, he or she resorts to personal attacks. “This woman [as if I didn’t have a name!], she is a hate preacher. She can’t say that! She may be right, but she can’t say that!” Can’t say what?
That sharia law is contrary to any of our secular laws? That its legal provisions include gender apartheid as well as killing of those who leave Islam or exercise the right to free speech. That sharia prescribes amputation of limbs and crucifixion even though Article 5 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights postulates that “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.” Well, guess what? That is precisely what was eventually found in the charges!

In fall 2009, I was asked by the largest Austrian opposition party to hold a three-part seminar on the topic of Islam and the Islamization of Europe. I did this by quoting from the Quran, the hadith, the sunna. I also quoted well-known Muslim politicians like Erdogan, Ghadafi, Arafat, or the former Algerian prime minister. Little did I or the attendants know at the time that a young journalist had infiltrated and recorded the first two seminars without my knowledge. The left-wing magazine then decided to report me to the authorities, who in turn charged me with incitement to hatred. Let me quote the relevant paragraph:
By virtue of § 283 of the StGB, a person is deemed culpable of incitement:
(1) who incites or instigates in a manner liable to jeopardise public order an inimical act against a church or religious community established in the country or against a group determined by their affiliation to such a church or religious community, or to a race, people, tribe or state, or
(2) who agitates against or insults in a manner defamatory to human dignity or endeavours to condemn one of the groups defined in para. (1).
The crime is liable to a term of imprisonment of up to two years.
MUSLIMA CUTS OUT HEART OF HER 4 YR.OLD DAUGHTER FOR ISLAMIC RITUAL
‘Mother cuts out the heart of her daughter, four, as she listens to recording of Koran in ritual killing’
A mother has been arrested after a four year old girl was found stabbed to death with her heart and other organs cut out and strewn around her flat.
The 35-year-old woman was allegedly sitting in a her kitchen chanting verses of the Koran as her daughter’s disembowelled corpse lay next to her.
The little girl’s heart and other organs were found in different rooms around the flat in Clapton, east London.
Police suspect she she carried out the killing as a religious offering as she listened to the Muslim holy book on an MP3 player at full volume.
The mother, who is understood to have two teenage children of 14 and 16, has since been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and is in a secure unit.
The gruesome scene was discovered by the girl’s father when he arrived home to the flat on Thursday to find his partner clutching a kitchen knife.
The man, believed to be a Muslim convert, dialled 999 and paramedics pronounced the girl dead at the scene. Police said next of kin have been informed.
One neighbour, who lives in the downstairs flat and asked not to be named, said: ‘I was feeding my daughter her lunch at about 3pm and suddenly heard horrific screaming. It is shocking and so upsetting.’
