REPORTS ON DISCRIMINATION OF ETHNIC NORWEGIANS AND VIOLENCE AND THREATS OF SCHOOL STAFF IN NORWAY

Blond again: Only after moving to a school in western Oslo did Mari Morken (16) dare be blond again.“Why is it racism is we call them ‘black’ and not racism if they call us ‘white'”?
“I never called anybody ‘Nigger’ or ‘Black’ or anything like that. On the other hand, those of us who were White were talked about derogatorily. It was negative to be White, Christianity and Norwegian culture was negative and there were many curses,” says Mari Morken (16) and rattles them off “Whitey, potato and white cheese”
Three years ago she couldn’t take it any more. She moved from a school in Groruddalen to a school on the west side. Every morning she takes the subway to the other side of the city to escape the curses and the bad class-environment. Where she goes now, it’s good to have good grades, and she doesn’t stand out because she’s light. Before she made dark stripes in her medium-blond hair. Now she dyes her hair a bit lighter. She’s in the process of ‘taking back’ her Norwegianity, and is happy to be blond without being branded ‘whore’ and cheap’.
“Ah, girl, blond whore!”
‘Josephine’ was met with these words on the first school day at a high-school in an immigrant-dominated suburb south of Stockholm. Josphine was quite baffled, since aside from her hair color there was nothing about her appearance that would indicate she was promiscuous. She didn’t use makeup and had completely neutral clothing. It was exclusively her hair-color that branded her a ‘whore’.
‘Josephine’ is one of the informants for researchers Maria Bäckman, who did an ethnographic field study in a suburb south of Stockholm, where ethnic Swedes make up about 20% of the population. They’re therefore a minority. Klassekampen met Bäckman this week when she visited the University in Oslo and the Culcom research program (cultural complexity in the new Norway). She’s the first in Sweden who researched ethnic Swedes as a minority. A similar study was not done in Norway.
“In the suburbs the invisible Swedishness become visible. Ethnic Swedes experience being defined and labeled by their culture and religion, similarly with minorities of a different background,” Bäckman told Klassekampen.
In her study she focused on ethnic Swedish girls. They experience being linked to the notion of free, Swedish sexuality, which in the densely immigrant suburbs is not necessarily linked with something positive. The strategy for the suburb girls was therefore to play down their Swedish identity.
“Several dyed their hair. Not necessarily because they wanted to look like immigrants, but because they didn’t want to look so Swedish,” says Bäckman.
“Yes, it’s typical, Exactly like that.” Mari Morken nodded vigorously to us from the other side of the cafe table when we repeated some of what Maria Bäckman has found out. “I was called a whore so many times, I became immune.”
We meet her and her mother, Kristin Pedersen, for a talk about why Mari changed schools. They tell of systematic bullying and harassment since Mari reached puberty when she was 10-11, till she transferred school when she was 13.
Pedersen is still upset at the school’s lack of handling of the case.

80 percent of violent athletes are children between 13 and 16 years. We see some of the weapons confiscated at Etterstad skole in Oslo (75% male students, 55% of foreign origin). Dagbladet also tells of how threats against teachers are on the increase:
[…]
Dagbladet): From 2005 to 2009 the number of reported violence and threats against employees in the Oslo-schools increased from 129 to 224. This is shown by new numbers from the Agency of Education in Oslo municipality ( Utdanningsetaten i Oslo kommune). This holds for “ordinary schools”, and for the special schools the numbers are even higher: From 2005 to 2009 the incidents grew from 322 to 525.

South African paper caves to Muslim pressure
From The Mail & Guardian online:
meeting between Muslim leaders and the Mail & Guardian after the publication of a controversial cartoon has left M&G CEO Hoosain Karjieker proud of the community and the process followed to reach a resolution.
The newspaper has undertaken to refrain from publishing any images of the Prophet Muhammad while reviewing their editorial policy in terms of religious matters, after a meeting with Muslim leaders from a cross-section of organisations, and interest groups.
The meeting at Channel Islam in Johannesburg on Wednesday followed a failed court attempt by the Muslim Council of Theologians to stop the newspaper from publishing a Zapiro cartoon on May 21.
The cartoon depicted the Prophet Muhammad reclining on a psychiatrist’s chair bemoaning his followers’ lack of humour. It referenced the uproar in some Muslim communities over the Everyone Draw Muhammad Day campaign.
While interest in the incident has been high, with traffic volumes doubling on the M&G site, there was no violent backlash. Karjieker was particularly impressed with the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC), which called on the community not to boycott the newspaper.
“It’s been very good,” said editor Nic Dawes. “I think a discussion that has been simmering quietly has been brought out into the open. Ultimately we’ve reached a very South African solution.
“I’m delighted actually.”
Cross-section
Represented at the meeting were leaders from the MJC, the Muslim Council of Theologians — or Jamiatul Ulama — and the Somali Association of SA, among others.
“It was a tough meeting but the level of engagement was very mature,” said Karjieker. “It was on a level we haven’t had before as a community or a paper.”

Mail & Guardian regrets Muhammad cartoon
May 26, 2010 6:45 PM | By Sapa
The Mail & Guardian (M&G) newspaper regrets the offence caused by a cartoon depicting the prophet Muhammad published on Friday, editor Nic Dawes said.
Dawes said the newspaper, along with cartoonist Jonathan Shapiro, better known as Zapiro, met with Muslim community representatives and business leaders in Johannesburg on Wednesday to discuss their concerns.
“We explained to them that we did not intend to cause any harm and we distanced ourselves from the islamophobic imagery depicted on a Facebook group,” Dawes told Sapa in a telephonic interview.
The cartoon, published on Friday, depicts Muhammad lying on a couch complaining to a psychiatrist: “Other prophets have followers with a sense of humour!”
Dawes said publishing the cartoon did not mean the newspaper supported the Facebook group “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day” that sparked outrage in Pakistan and other Muslim countries.
In distancing itself from the group, the M&G explained on its website the group claimed to be a protest against restrictions on freedom of speech and religious fanaticism, but had seemingly become a forum for venting islamophobic sentiment.
“We certainly didn’t intend the cartoon to be an endorsement of those kinds of sentiments, which we repudiate,” Dawes wrote on the site.
“We regret the offence caused by the cartoon and the pain experienced by many Muslims around the country.”
On Wednesday Dawes said in light of what the paper had learned since publishing the cartoon on Friday, it decided to review its editorial policy on religion, especially where it concerned the Prophet Muhammad.
The review would be informed by consultation with a variety of parties within the country and based on “the constitutional values of freedom of expression and the M&G’s own values of social justice”.
“We have committed to not reproduce depictions of the Prophet during the review period.”
Dawes could not give a time frame on how long the review process would take, but said it may be a couple of months. The review did not mean the M&G was going to relinquish its editorial independence.
“I cannot commit myself to any religious rules in editorial considerations,” he said, but consideration would be given to respect all communities.
“We parted very amicably with the community and I am very pleased that we can come out of it with one of those very special South African solutions where dialogue managed to resolve a very difficult situation,” Dawes said about the meeting.

For Sestak Matter, a ‘Trust Us’ Response From White House
By PETER BAKER
Published: May 24, 2010
WASHINGTON — For three months, the White House has refused to say whether it offered a job to Representative Joe Sestak to get him to drop his challenge to Senator Arlen Specter in a Pennsylvania Democratic primary, as Mr. Sestak has asserted.
But the White House wants everyone who suspects that something untoward, or even illegal, might have happened to rest easy: though it still will not reveal what happened, the White House is reassuring skeptics that it has examined its own actions and decided it did nothing wrong. Whatever it was that it did.
“Lawyers in the White House and others have looked into conversations that were had with Congressman Sestak,” Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, said Sunday on “Face the Nation” on CBS. “And nothing inappropriate happened.”
“Improper or not, did you offer him a job in the administration?” asked the host, Bob Schieffer.
“I’m not going to get further into what the conversations were,” Mr. Gibbs replied. “People that have looked into them assure me that they weren’t inappropriate in any way.”
Muslims are running out of drinks fast
Back in the 70s, I don’t know how it is now exactly, you could get Coke legally in Israel, but Pepsi was a back market thing. In Arab or Islamic nations the reverse was the case. The reason was, Muslim nations told companies that if they sold their products to Israel, they would not be able to sell them in Arab lands.
Coke, to its credit, said they would not be blackmailed and would sell to anyone who wished to buy it. Pepsi however, caved to the blackmail.
So please add that little story to the following video and enjoy a slice of irony with the stupidity already present:
Then of course we have the Starbucks issue:
If we can get them to boycott a few more drinks out there in the desert, maybe the problem will solve itself in a few days.
Muslims idea of community harmony is to sue to get your way.
Muslim doublespeak really is amazing. In this article from Australia, a set of Muslim families sue a water-park for telling them that their excessive dress was unhygienic for the various water activities, exactly as France has done and exactly for the same reasons, and of course the Muslims demanded money and a written appology claiming this was a victory for “Harmonious community relations”. Of course, harmony could never ever be Muslims obeying the damn rules when its in the interest of hygiene and proper health let alone the culture of the place they chose to move to.

From Australian News at Google:
An Islamic woman has won $16,000 in compensation and a written apology after she and her friends were refused permission to go on water rides at Perth’s Adventure World because of their religious clothing.
Pakeeza Shaikh won the money this month following a year-long court battle after her group was told they could not go on water rides because of inappropriate swimwear.
Ms Shaikh complained in a private conciliation at the Equal Opportunity Commission that the group had suffered discrimination, and had been humiliated about covering up their bodies in line with their religious beliefs.
The parties could not comment yesterday because of a confidentiality agreement, but it is understood the money has been divided between the five Islamic families visiting the park as a group in February last year. It is understood they had rejected earlier offers of financial compensation until a written apology was included. Continue Reading →
A Mosque in Munich: Nazis, the CIA, and the Rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in the West
How Islamists Came to Dominate European Islam
By Daniel Pipes
The 7/7 bombings in London, in which Islamists killed 52 and injured 700, prompted British authorities to work with Muslims to avoid future violence.
However, rather than turn to anti-Islamist Muslims who reject the triumphalist goal of applying Islamic law in Europe, they promoted non-violent Islamists, hoping these would persuade coreligionists to express their hatred of the West in lawful ways. This effort featured Tariq Ramadan (b. 1962), a prominent Islamist intellectual. For example, London’s Metropolitan Police partially funded a conference Ramadan addressed and Prime Minister Tony Blair appointed him to an official “working group on tackling extremism.”
Deploying an Islamist may have seemed like a original and clever idea but it was neither. Western governments have been allying without success with Islamists for decades. Indeed, they have been allying with Ramadan’s own family.
Dwight Eisenhower (center) received a Muslim delegation. Said Ramadan stood at right, clasping paper

In 1953, Dwight D. Eisenhower hosted a group of foreign Muslims that included Said Ramadan (1926-95), a leader of arguably the most influential Islamist organization of the twentieth century, the rabidly anti-West Muslim Brotherhood – and also Tariq’s father. The Eisenhower-Ramadan meeting took place in the context of sustained U.S. government efforts to rally Muslims against Soviet communism, in part by putting Said Ramadan on the CIA payroll. Talcott Seelye, an American diplomat who met with him about that time explains: “We thought of Islam as a counterweight to communism.” Continue Reading →
Union ‘Klansmen’ Terrorize 14-year-old Boy
by Connie Hair
05/24/2010
Reminiscent of the white-hooded Ku Klux Klan showing up to terrorize families in their homes, the Service Employees International Union (SIEU) and a Chicago group called National Political Action showed up at the Maryland home of Greg Baer, deputy general counsel for corporate affairs at Bank of America last Sunday.
The White House has yet to denounce the muscle flexing by their SEIU buddies whose purpose was to intimidate the senior bank executive and make him an example to all those who might oppose the Democrats’ new finance bill now headed for conference with the House and Senate.
Baer wasn’t home that Sunday but his 14-year-old son was home alone. And frightened.?

We Stand With the Victims of 9/11,
We Oppose the Mosque at “Ground Zero,” and
We Urge You to Join Us in Opposition
To Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the Elected Officials of New York:We the undersigned join with millions of Americans who are opposed to the founding of a mosque at the very site where Islamist jihadists destroyed the World Trade Center and took the lives of nearly 3,000 people.
We are opposed to the grotesque symbolism represented by the building of this mosque at “ground zero.” We are especially appalled that those pushing for this mosque have designated its grand opening date for September 11, 2011 – the ten year anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history.
We are deeply disturbed by the insensitivity to the families of the victims of the 9/11 jihadist attack exhibited by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and his supporters. We find it grossly hypocritical that Islamists and their allies repeatedly lecture Americans about the need to be “sensitive” to Muslims while Imam Rauf and his allies practice the height of intolerance and insensitivity through the blatant act of building a mosque at “ground zero.”
We are offended by the views Imam Rauf has expressed about 9/11, such as his conspiratorial theory that Muslims did not perpetrate the 9/11 attack and that America’s policies were partly to blame for the attack. Such views are a slap in the face of the victims and families of 9/11.
We find it repulsive that Imam Rauf and his followers and supporters would seek to build a mosque near ground zero promoting the same Sharia ideology that the 9/11 hijackers used as the justification for their act of unconscionable murder.
Therefore, in deference to the families of the 9/11 victims and their memory, we call upon the elected officials of New York to oppose the building of this mosque near ground zero and for them to urge Feisal Abdul Rauf and his followers to find another location for it.
Please click here to go to the form and sign the petition. No matter how genuine or peaceful the principles of this mosque are, the fact that they intend to open on the 10th anniversary of 9-11 shows a poor intent as there simply is no way they cannot be aware of how it looks. It is a clear incitement and must be opposed.
EDL video for Newcastle
I hope the demo is as good as the beer.
If any people are reading this that can attend, please join the EDL as they fight for Magna Carta, rational rights from the nation that invented rational rights, and all of British cultural heritage. They are it folks. There is no other force in England that is actually doing anything to fight the tidal wave of irrational leftism and irrational violent religious authority which is rapidly turning England into an unrecognizable and more importantly, one where laws seem arbitrary and based on superstition and identity politics over reasoned evidence and true egalitarian principles.
By the way, this is also the best video yet. Congrats to whoever does their video work. Great job!
Bible fight at the OK Mosque and saloon

Facebook outstrips Arab newspapers – survey
By By Magdi Abdelhadi, BBC News
There are now more Facebook users in the Arab world than newspaper readers, a survey suggests.
The research by Spot On Public Relations, a Dubai-based agency, says there are more than 15 million subscribers to the social network.
The total number of newspaper copies in Arabic, English and French is just under 14 million.
The findings seem to confirm the increasing popularity of the social interaction platforms in the region.
Spot On Public Relations, a marketing and communications agency, says the figures show that such platforms are beginning to define how Arabs discover and share information. Continue Reading →
