Brazil: Future chancellor says Brazil will leave Global Migration Compact

Ambassador Ernesto Araújo, who has been confirmed to take over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said today [December 10] in social media that the government of President-elect Jair Bolsonaro will disassociate the country from the Global Migration Compact. According to him, immigration should be treated according to “the reality and sovereignty of each country”.
“The Bolsonaro government will dissociate itself from the Global Migration Pact that is being launched in Marrakesh, an inadequate instrument to deal with the problem. Immigration should not be treated as a global issue, but rather according to the reality and sovereignty of each country,” the future chancellor said in his Twitter account.
The UN Global Compact for a Safe, Ordained and Regular Migration was approved today by representatives of more than 150 countries at the intergovernmental conference of the organization in the Moroccan city.
Speaking at the conference, UN Secretary-General António Guterres drew attention to “the sovereign right of states to determine their migration policies and their prerogative to govern migration within their jurisdiction, in accordance with international law,” insisted the Secretary-General.
Regulatory mark
On previous occasions, the future chancellor had mentioned how the Brazilian government intends to deal with the migratory flow. According to him, the country will seek to accommodate immigrants by establishing a regulatory framework compatible with national reality.
“Brazil will seek a regulatory framework compatible with the national reality and with the well-being of Brazilians and foreigners. In the case of Venezuelans fleeing the [President Nicolás] Maduro regime, we will continue to welcome them, but the fundamental thing is to work for the restoration of democracy in Venezuela.”
The ambassador added that immigrants are welcome in Brazil and will not be discriminated against. However, he defended the definition of criteria to guarantee safety to all. He did not elaborate on those criteria.
“Immigration is welcome, but it should not be indiscriminate. There must be criteria to ensure the safety of both migrants and citizens in the destination country. Immigration must be at the service of the individual’s interests and the cohesion of each society.”

Worshippers at the London Islamic Cultural Society and Mosque blasted developer Fairview New Homes after its dome and minaret appeared to have been airbrushed from marketing photos.
A PROPERTY developer has been accused of Islamophobia after a mosque was allegedly airbrushed out of its marketing photos.
Its dome and minaret appear to have been edited out while a row of trees seem to have been added, shielding the building.
Worshippers at the London Islamic Cultural Society and Mosque, in Hornsey, North London, blasted developer Fairview New Homes.
Mustafa Alloucha, 47, said: “They are worried that by showing the mosque it may harm sales. They are trying to pretend it does not exist.”
Siraj Din, 57, said: “Maybe they worry people will be scared off if they see these flashy homes are next to a mosque.
“But this mosque should be portrayed as it is, in this photo it just looks like a warehouse.”

There is no ambiguity about what happens to property values when a mosque is nearby.
The fact that developers are willing to risk fraud lawsuits and false advertising claims to sell property by eliminating mosques from the photos of the area speaks volumes for the reality of Islam in our midst, and exactly what “diversity” brings Western society.
This is a great example of how the reality of free markets exposes the lies of the narrative.
ATTN CANADIANS:
There is a rally planned for Parliament Hill on Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 AM against the Global Migration Pact, so loved by Trudeau, Merkel and the UN.
Maxime Bernier, the only rational non-pandering, non-leftist political leader in Canada is planning to speak early in the day at this rally.
Anyone who can make it out to support this last ditch effort to preserve Canada as a nation state, please do so. This is not a small thing, or even a large thing like M103 when our freedom of speech got canned in favour of preventing criticism of Islam.

This Paris demonstration video is quite interesting. The protestors appear to be disabling some kind of contraption.
Hazarding a guess, it may be some camera rig the government has which records licence plates etc. A free nation shouldn’t have these anyway. So its interesting to see the French protestors disabling it, if that is what it is.
Hopefully those more knowledgable about France can explain what is taking place in that scene, and others in this video.

While at it, have a look at Maxime Bernier’s request for donations to help balance theTrudeau government’s subsidies or outright funding of “media the government can trust” with billions in tax dollars.
Normally I am not much into petitions or contributing to political parties or media organizations. But Trudeau really is doing one thing after another which can have no effect but to turn Canada into a kind of borderless ‘sharia lite’ state with a kind of Chinese style rule of social credits guaranteeing forced social conformity to far leftist goals with special preference for Islam.
Think that episode of The Black Mirror, (on Netflix) where every transaction is rated on social media and the consequences of a bad transaction have a real and immediate impact on your life, with no due process. In other words, no tolerance and no diversity, which should be obvious by now, is the real goals of the left
But in this case Ill sign and when and how I can, I contribute.
These are not ordinary times and not ordinary concerns and it makes us perhaps regret the scale of the language we have used in the past to talk about consequences of minor policy shifts with which we did not agree.
