More than 100 people have died in the fifth district of Kandahar, Afghanistan, where police are reportedly firing automatic weapons into a crowd of rioters trying to storm a U.N. building, witnesses said April 3, RIA Novosti reported. A source within the Afghan Interior Ministry confirmed the death toll. Police said Taliban militants have joined the protesters, who began rioting after a U.S. pastor publicly burned a Quran.

EDL demo in Blackburn. Police issue ‘Ozman warnings to leaders

Police have erected an 8 foot steel fence around the perimeter of the EDL demo and warned Tommy and his 2IC that  they cannot guarantee their safety. From the EDL website:

Chilling words from the Bedfordshire Police in the form of an “Osman” warning. This is not an April Fools joke, this is serious:

Bedfordshire Police has received anonymous information that a threat has been made against [Kevin and Tommy]. The nature of this threat is that he and his associates face being assaulted when they attend a planned English Defence League protest at Blackburn Lancashire on the 2nd of April 2011.

Due to your lifestyle and political beliefs Bedfordshire Police has identified you as being at very high risk of coming to serious harm and our concerns are such for your safety that we have suggested the following actions to reduce the risk of further violence:

  1. That you do not attend the planned EDL protest in Blackburn on the 2nd of April 2011.
  2. If you choose to attend the protest, that you do not inform anyone of your intention to travel or the method of travel that you intend to use.
  3. If you choose to attend this protest, that you inform Bedfordshire Police of your plans and allow them to inform their colleagues in Blackburn.
  4. That you call the Police immediately if you feel under threat from anyone, using the 999 system.
  5. I must warn you that if you fail to take advantage of this advice it may put you at increased risk of harm. You have a responsibility to act in a manner that does not compromise your own safety. If you need Police assistance [contact details redacted] and we will do all we can to support you and to make you feel safe.

Clearly the basic rights and freedoms of  secular Western Liberal democracy have been abandoned by the British state and that same state shows no interest in preserving it at all. Time to Unmask Muhammad

To know why Islam is a mortal danger one must not only consider the Koran but also the character of Muhammad, who conceived the Koran and the entirety of Islam.

The Koran is not just a book. Muslims believe that Allah himself wrote it and that it was dictated to Muhammad in the original version, the Umm al-Kitab, which is kept on a table in heaven. Consequently one cannot argue with the contents. Who would dare to disagree with what Allah himself has written? This explains much of Muhammadan behaviour, from the violence of jihad to the hatred and persecution of Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims and apostates. What we in the West regard as abnormal, is perfectly normal for Islam.

A second insuperable problem with Islam is the figure of Muhammad. He is not just anyone. He is al-insan al-kamil, the perfect man. To become a Muslim one must pronounce the Shahada (the Muslim creed). By pronouncing the Shahada one testifies that there is no god that can be worshipped except Allah, and one testifies that Muhammad is his servant and messenger.

The Koran, and hence Allah, lays down that Muhammad’s life must be imitated. The consequences of this are horrendous and can be witnessed on a daily basis.

There has been much analysis of Muhammad’s mental sanity. In spite of all the available research, it is rarely mentioned or debated. It is a taboo to discuss the true nature of the man whom one and a half billion Muslims around the world regard as a holy prophet and example to be followed. That taboo must be breached in the West, and here in the Netherlands.

Ali Sina is an Iranian ex-Muslim who established the organisation for apostates of Islam Faith Freedom International. In his latest book he posits that Muhammad is a narcissist, a paedophile, a mass murderer, a terrorist, a misogynist, a lecher, a cult leader, a madman, a rapist, a torturer, an assassin and a looter (*). Sina has offered 50,000 dollars for the one who can prove otherwise. Nobody has claimed the reward as yet. And no wonder, as the description is based on the Islamic texts themselves, such as the hadiths, the descriptions of Muhammad’s life from testimonies of contemporaries.

The historical Muhammad was the savage leader of a gang of robbers from Medina. Without scruples they looted, raped and murdered. The sources describe orgies of savagery where hundreds of people’s throats were cut, hands and feet chopped off, eyes cut out, entire tribes massacred. An example is the extinction of the jewish Kurayza tribe in Medina in 627. One of those who chopped off their heads was Muhammad. The women and children were sold as slaves. Confronted with the lunacy of Islamic terrorists today, it is not hard to find out where the lunacy comes from.

In Vienna the women’s rights activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff was recently sentenced to paying a fine for insulting a religion by calling Muhammad a paedophile. However, that is the truth. (TT: The Austrian press claimed ESW labeled Mohamed as a pedophile, but the transcript proves she did not) Numerous hadiths contain testimonies by Muhammad’s favourite wife, the child wife Aisha. Aisha literally says: “The prophet married me when I was six years old, and had intercourse with me when I was nine.”

Here is important news from the other side.

Here is some great news. I wish that people like this received a lot more attention from the MSM as well as blogs like this one. There are Muslim groups that are not foaming, seventh century, rabid, hate filled nut bags. This is really refreshing to watch. Thanks Shortandcurlies for sending me this. Also its important to note that this group seems to have some actual understanding of the issues as opposed to the British party line on these matters, which seems to be to get total idiots like Baroness Warsi to laugh and scoff at religious Muslims and claim they are not the true Islam without actually ever debating them on content, history or issues.

Terry Jones, the Florida evangelical pastor who threatened to hold a Quran burning last Sept. 11 only to back down in the face of international outrage, finally went ahead and burned one.

And now there’s a 2.2-million-dollar price on his head.

Jones appointed himself “judge” and presided over a trial hearing evidence and testimony against Islam’s holy book. A “jury” found the book guilty of crimes against humanity; promoting terrorist acts; raping, torturing and killing people “whose only crime was not being of the Islamic faith.” Also, its treatment of women was found lacking.

Interestingly, lethal injection and electrocution, the two forms of capital punishment in Florida, were not offered to the convicted holy book. Instead, an online Facebook poll picked the sentence from these choices – burning, shredding, drowning or firing squad. Burning won.

Sentence was carried out by soaking the convicted in kerosene, placing it a metal tray and igniting it with a barbecue lighter. Thirty people witnessed the execution.

Jones’ kangaroo court stunt was obviously aimed at provoking a response, but the Council on American-Islamic Relations didn’t take the bait.

“Terry Jones had his 15 minutes of fame and we’re not going to help him get another few minutes,” said Spokesman Ibrahim Hooper.

Unfortunately, Pakistan did.

President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the desecration of the Quran during his address to a joint sitting of parliament. The country’s Foreign Office in Islamabad called it a “despicable act.”

Pakistanis are already angry at the United States over the release last week of an American CIA employee who was arrested after he shot and killed two men who he says were trying to rob him.

Pakistan’s Jamaat-ud-Dawah, a banned Islamic organization and suspected terrorist group, announced a reward of 10 crore rupees (about $2.2 million) for anyone who kills the preacher.

Jones is probably pleased that at least the terrorists are taking him seriously.

EDL on Australia’s 60 minutes

A word of advice to Tommy Robinson. Sue the makers of 60 Minutes and start the proceedure today. At the 10 minute mark, the host asks you if the EDL are all people like “yourself” who are all working class and racist. The answer is clearly edited so that the racist question is never addressed. This is simply not acceptable. You, and all the people present in that room, should sue.

European court allows crucifix in public schools

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that the display of a crucifix in a public-school classroom is not a violation of human rights.

The March 18 decision by the Strasbourg court overturns a previous decision by a lower panel, which had ruled in November 2009 that the crucifix display violated the rights of an atheist student in Italy. The Italian government had appealed that decision to the full court.

The Vatican warmly welcomed the European court’s decision. Father Federico Lombardi, the director of the Vatican press office, said that the court realized “that the exhibition of the crucifix is not indoctrination but the expression of the cultural and religious identity of countries of a Christian tradition.”

The decision of the European Court, reached by a 15-2 vote, applies not only to Italy but to all the member-nations of the European Union.

INCREDIBLE SHOT: BRIT DISPATCHES TWO TALIBAN WITH ONE ROUND

Feel good story of the day. As the old saying goes, “two flies with one swat”. Kudos to the brave men fighting on the front lines. KGS

[…] On September 12th, a known Taliban commander appeared on the back of a motorcycle with a passenger riding pillion. There was a British patrol in the village of Gorup-e Shesh Kalay and under the rules of engagement, the walkie-talkie the Taliban pair were carrying was designated a hostile act. As they drove off, Osmond fired warning shots with his pistol and then picked up his L96, the same weapon – serial number 0166 – he had used in Iraq and on the butt of which he had written, ‘I love u 0166’.

Taking deliberate aim, he fired a single shot. The bike tumbled and both men fell onto the road and lay there motionless. When the British patrol returned, they checked the men and confirmed they were both dead, with large holes through their heads.

The 7.62 mm bullet Osmond had fired had passed through the heads of both men. He had achieved the rare feat of ‘one shot, two kills’ known in the sniping business as ‘a Quigley’. The term comes from the 1990 film Quigley Down Under in which the hero, played by Tom Selleck, uses an old Sharps rifle to devastating effect.
