The Israeli diplomat who was shouted down at Edinburgh U in Scotland and forced to cancel his speech by aggressive Muslim and leftist student groups, came to Carleton U to speak during ‘Israeli Apartheid week’ in March 2011. Unfortunately, my camera ran out of space after 20 minutes, but you get a solid sense of his message in what I got. His message is one of how life is for minorities within Israel, and as he is a Bedouin-Arab Muslim he has a pretty solid idea.

Emdadur Choudhury has been flooded with death threats

Sunday March 13,2011

By Sunday Express reporter

THE fanatic who mocked British justice after being fined just £50 for burning a poppy has begged police to protect him from a hate mob.

Emdadur Choudhury has been flooded with death threats after his home address and telephone number were leaked onto the internet.

There were suspicions too last night that 26-year-old Choudhury, who receives nearly £800 in benefits a month, has fled his third-floor council flat in Spitalfields, east London.

Police are understood to be keen on re-homing him in the wake of the threats but that would drain public funds even further.

Choudhury’s cry for help is in direct contrast to his arrogant boasts last week after he was sentenced.

Ex-soldier Brian Harrington, 63, of north London said: “Why should we pay to protect a man like him?”

Protests for an against Rep. King

The statistic about 80% of Mosques in the US being ‘radical‘ that the anchor quotes, is actually higher than 80% and is an FBI statistic that Vlad posted a couple of years ago. It also buggers the definition of radical. If that statistic is correct, then I would say the less than 20% that do not preach ‘radical Islam’ are in fact the true radicals and I would check under my car before I started it if I were them for fear of the 80% which I would more accurately describe as orthodox, conservative, or traditional Islam.

Jewish Defence League to hold event to counter Israeli Apartheid Week

The Jewish Defence League of Canada has announced it will be hosting an event called “Islamic State Apartheid Week” in Toronto next week. Its stated goal is to “counter the campus lies against Jews and highlight the truth of Islam,” as well as “expose and confront the Israel bashers and Jew haters during IAW [Israeli Apartheid Week].”

Sounds like this all should go off without a hitch, no?

So far, it seems the program consists of protesting IAW events. The first gathering is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, to protest a screening of “Jaffa the Oranges Clockwork,” which (to add another twist) is being sponsored by the Ryerson Student Union. Two more protests–one at the University of Toronto and another at York University–have been scheduled so far.

As of yet, just over 100 people have confirmed attendance on Facebook.

A statement from the President of York U. One of the campus where recently, violent antisemitism has been quite overt.

New German minister: Islam does not belong in Germany

Hans-Peter Friedrich’s comment comes in context of probe into killing of two U.S. airmen at Frankfurt Airport believed to be motivated by radical Islamist beliefs.

By Danna Harman HAARETZ

Just three days into the job, Germany’s new interior minister is already causing his government a headache after wading into a highly delicate debate about multiculturalism and claiming Islam was not a key part of the German way of life. “Islam in Germany is not something supported by history at any point,” Hans-Peter Friedrich told journalists on his first day as Thomas de Maiziere’s replacement on Thursday.

Friedrich was speaking in the context of a probe by German authorities into last Wednesday’s killing of two U.S. airmen at Frankfurt Airport, in which it is believed the 21-year-old Kosovan suspect Arid Uka was a lone operator motivated by radical Islamist beliefs. His comments were a play on words, turning on its head an earlier remark made several months ago by German President Christian Wulff, who said Islam now “belongs to Germany” because of the 4 million Muslims who live there. Video promo for womens rights revolution in the Muslim world.

In this case, it is never too little, and too is never too late. I am thrilled to see this well made appeal for women to fight for equal rights, although any rights at all would be welcome I’m sure, in the Muslim world.

Kenya prepares to fight back against Somali Muslim terrorists, Al Shabab

Kenya: Troops Prepare To Assault Al Shabaab – Source STRATFOR SITREP

February 28, 2011
Kenyan and Ethiopian forces could launch a major offensive against al Shabaab in Somalia following the militant group’s threat to attack Kenya, a Kenyan military officer on the border with Somalia said Feb. 28, Reuters reported. The offensive is expected at any moment, the officer said, adding that confronting al Shabaab is Kenya’s only option. A convoy of Kenyan-trained Somali troops, supported by Kenyan forces, arrived at the border the night of Feb. 27 and is camping there, security sources said. The Kenyan government’s spokesman denied that an assault was imminent, saying police and security forces were present to prevent fighting from spilling over the border. The government is seeking parliamentary approval for additional spending on security along the border, a Kenyan Treasury official said.
