Marine Lepen speech on why she is running in the French presidential race.

I took this translation from Gallia-watch. However my French is close to non-existent so any errors, omissions or more likely, misplacements are actually mine as I was not really able to determine exactly where each title went, unless I heard a word I could surmise was one in the text. Meanwhile, I do want to know why everyone refers to her as ‘far right’. I guess the convention is, anyone not celebrating the utter obliteration of their own culture, heritage and legal traditions is somehow a far-right person to be feared. Of course, the opposite is the truth.

Nevertheless, this is an interesting speech by someone who should be able to give Sarkozy a run for French money

George Clooney says something I agree with.

I may have to check in to some kind of clinic. But he has this one right even if he isn’t saying what the causes are, namely the culture of entitlement and hatred in Islamic lands against those who are not Islamic, and in the Sudan, you can add to that Arab supremacy over African-black heritage.

Of course, he may have said something on that but this is on the CBC so of course they would not report anything not in keeping with their narrative

Thanks to a commenter below on this clip, there was ample confirmation of the obvious. This is about genocide of non-Muslims.

Setting the Record Straight

A mirror from…

Gates of Vienna:

On March 31, 2012, a group of Counterjihad activists will meet in Aarhus, Denmark for “a public meeting to talk about issues such as Sharia Law, Halal, Immigration and the continuing Islamification of Europe”. The meeting is being sponsored by the European Freedom Initiative and will be hosted by the Danish Defence League.

The event has no website. It does, however, have a Facebook page, and on it you will notice that Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff is listed is one of the scheduled speakers.

This information is incorrect.

Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff did not agree to speak at the event in Aarhus, nor did she discuss her possible attendance at the event with the organizers. In fact, she was never even contacted by the organizers.

When she learned that her name was being used in promotional materials as a confirmed speaker, she wrote to the contact address for the website displaying the flyer and asked that her name be removed. No response was forthcoming, and the information on the Facebook page has not been updated.

Therefore she has asked me to correct the record here at Gates of Vienna: Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff is NOT speaking in Aarhus on March 31, nor will she be attending the event.

Elisabeth’s full statement about this unfortunate situation is below: Continue Reading →

Blogger files freedom of information request to see ‘anti-Islamic-posters’

Now this is action. I will be very interested to see the reasons they invent to refuse to supply this material. The man who did it is to be applauded loudly and supported by us all. I hope he lets us know what he gets. Thank you for posting this link in the comments Edgar1981

Imprisoned in the UK for criticising Islam

The national UK media has had almost nothing to say about the astonishing case of Darren Conway who on March 6 was sentenced to a year in prison for posting ‘anti-Islamic materials’ in the window of his ground-floor apartment in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.  There is a very good piece by Bruce Bawer about the case in which he wonders why no information about the actual posters has been provided in any news reports.

Islamic halal meat: It ‘slams against Quebec values,’ Parti Quebecois says

Wow what do you know, The Parti Quebecois is standing up for Quebec values. Will wonders never cease.

Yahoo.com

QUEBEC – The Parti Quebecois is sounding the alarm bell over an Islamic food ritual, calling slaughter for halal meat an affront not only to the rights of animals but to the values cherished by Quebecers.

The pro-independence party declared its concerns Wednesday about halal animal-rights standards, and is worried that mainstream companies are selling the meat, without any labelling, to unsuspecting Quebecois customers.

Not to be outdone, the fledgling Coalition For Quebec’s Future concurred later Wednesday that consumers should have the right to choose which product they buy and halal products must be labelled.

The halal flap is the latest iteration of Quebec’s identity debates, which have raged on Montreal’s populist talk radio in recent days.

Over the last week one radio show has featured complaints about Hassidic Jewish festivals disrupting traffic; Islamic halal meat being sold without labelling; and a convenience-store owner who got angry when asked to speak French.

The PQ is now demanding a report on the halal situation from the provincial government, by March 23.

Paul Weston excerpt from March 9 2012 interview by the Christian Action Network

On March 9 2012, the CAN interviewed a number of people in Europe for a program on Islam, it’s devastating effects on European culture and other related issues. The CAN was kind enough to let us take a bit of footage ourselves at the same time and release chunks of it for you all, as an appetizer so to speak.

The speakers include, Tommy Robinson, who’s segment you can see here, Paul Weston below, and others who I will try and get edited and uploaded over the next few days.

Christian Action Network interviews Tommy Robinson March 9 2012

The CAN was kind enough to send me some of their footage to make an advanced teaser for the show they are making on some of the counter jihad people in Europe. Here is a short segment of the interview they did with Tommy Robinson, leader of the English Defense Leaugue

The Price of a Koran

Sultan Knish:

What does a Koran cost? You can get a full color one for the Kindle for only 99 cents, just don’t expect it to feature any pictures of old Mo. If you want to go deluxe, you can get a hardcover edition that runs three different translations side by side for around 40 bucks. But if you want to be more practical about it, the price of a Koran is the lives of six American soldiers.

That butcher’s bill doesn’t count the soldiers who burned the Korans, who despite following procedure will be penalized on orders of the White House which thinks that punishing American soldiers will somehow satisfy the Koran fueled bloodlust of men who aren’t satisfied with their corpses.

The nature of the marketplace of human affairs is that a thing is worth what we will pay for it. Once upon a time Americans decided to pay any price for freedom. The price was high, but they got what they paid for… at least for a season or two. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were works of freedom written in blood. They made a free nation possible because that nation was willing to pay the price for them.

Muslims are equally willing to pay the price in blood for slavery, their own slavery and ours, for a book of slavery, written by an owner and abuser of slaves, who created a religion of slaves, where the optimal position was to stand on as many people as possible while reaching for heaven.

Michael Coren on the destruction of the grave yard in Libya

I wonder. Is there a way to define the word ‘savage’ or ‘barbarian’ that would not apply to the way we have seen the Islamic world behave towards non-Muslims, towards Islamic and non Islamic women, between various sects of Islam and towards minority groups in majority Islamic areas? I would be interested to hear one if there is one.

Campaigning Sarkozy nixes halal meat in schools

That’s a small step for a politician, but a giant leap for dhimmi-kind.

-Eeyore

CBS News:

PARIS — The issue of France’s Muslims moved front and center into the presidential campaign with President Nicolas Sarkozy excluding any special indulgences for halal meat.

Sarkozy insisted at a Bordeaux campaign rally Saturday that French civilization must prevail in France. He said there’s no place for xenophobia or racism.

Muslims, and immigration, are constant themes in recent French presidential races, but the topic is rising to the fore with vehemence as the April 22 first-round vote nears — 50 days from now.

There are an estimated 5 million Muslims in France, the largest such population in Western Europe. Socialist Francois Hollande is the front-runner, with Sarkozy trailing in second place.

Great example of the pathetic state of Western reportage.

Not one worthwhile question.

This video is from Friday on Finnish news about Kurdish Muslims demanding a new actionable law against koran burning…

At no point did the reporter ask even the most obvious questions. Two that come to mind immediately are, ‘Why should non-Muslims hold the koran as important to them? Isn’t it enough that you are allowed to hold it sacred to you in a non-Muslim land? or, ‘So if we do this, then you will protest for the open and free practice of Christianity and Judaism in Saudi Arabia including Mecca and Yathrib (Medina) and other Muslims countries?

I won’t hold my breath.

Thanks to Tundra T for the translation and video-tip

One thing is for sure. It would be great to find a way to make these Kurds go a whey

Andy McCarthy: Saluting Ray Kelly & the NYPD’s Defense of New York

Uploaded by on Feb 29, 2012

Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy joins the Center for Security Policy in saluting NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly at the 2012 Mightier Pen Award in New York City. Commissioner Kelly has kept New York City safe from jihadist terror attacks for decades, beginning with his investigation of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing (the perpetrators of which McCarthy later prosecuted).
