A Moroccan teenager killed herself after a judge forced her to marry her rapist.

The 16-year-old girl, named as Amina Filali, ate rat poison after a Tangier court which was supposed to be punishing her 26-year-old attacker decided that they should instead be wed.

This is because Moroccan laws exempt a rapist from punishment if he agrees to marry his victim.

Traumatised by the rape and the forced marriage, Moroccan newspaper al-Massae said she committed suicide at her husband’s house.

Hafida Elbaz, director of the Women’s Solidarity Association, criticised the law and said rapists often believed they could avoid punishment by marrying their victims.

Radio Silence in Worms

This horrific story from

Gates of Vienna:

The following story from Germany is horrific beyond belief. In deference to sensitive readers, I have placed the most gruesome details below the fold. If you find descriptions of bestial cruelty disturbing, you would be well-advised not to click “Read more”.

JLH, who kindly translated the piece for us, had this to say:

I ran across this, and the pure horror of it transfixed me. This is beyond the worst stories I heard about the Russian soldiers running amok in the streets of Berlin in 1945.

The only excuse I can give for translating it is that someone has to witness, and places like GoV may be alone in their efforts for some time to come.

Radio Silence? 16 Year-Old Girl — Raped, Tortured, Crippled

March 5, 2012
by Der Patriot

During the last 24 hours we have received numerous emails, asking us to report on the brutal and perverse rape of a 16-year-old girl in Worms, which has not been reported at all by German media.

On February 23, SOS-Österreich was one of the first blogs to report on this inhumanly violent attack.

Since unbelievable or horrifying reports come to us almost daily, the incident in Worms was forgotten. Only after several references in our comment section, and/or direct mails, as well as some intensive “googling,” did we notice that only diverse blogs — but no public media in Germany — reported on the rape and mutilation of a young German girl. Is this silence strange, or not?

The blog Honigmannsagt writes that the press of the Federal Republic has put an embargo on this story.

This is an appeal to them!

Please, bring this case to the attention of the public.

In accordance with §12.1 of its code, the Federal Republic press has put a gag order on this story.

It needs to be broken.

Minorities religions under Islamist regimes: a brutal week

It’s been a brutal week for minority religions and spiritual movements in Islamist states.

The persecution of the Baha’i minority faith under the Iranian regime continues, according to Brazilian television.

Also, in Egypt this week the Salafi Party denounced the pro-democracy movement as — you guessed it — “Freemasonry” and “Zionism.”

In Iraq, liquor stores belonging to Yezidis (sun worshippers) and Assyrian Christians were attacked by mobs, set alight and destroyed.  The violence erupted after Mala Ismail Osman Sindi’s Friday sermon. The imam has since been criticized for the attacks, but he insists that he “only said that instead of massage parlors, people should build mosques.” Continue Reading →

Seven detained after suspected gang rape

The Local.Se

Seven men have so far been arrested on suspicion of gang raping a 29-year-old mother of two in Eksjö, in the south of Sweden.

”We have a good body of evidence,” said Christer Edlund of the local police to the daily Aftonbladet.

According to the paper, the police suspect that as many as eleven men may have been involved in the attack. They are not ruling out that there may be more arrests in the near future.

The alleged assault occurred between Friday and Saturday at a party that the woman and the men had been attending.

According to the police, the woman was overpowered by a group of men who took turns brutally raping her.

Parts of the assault may also have been filmed, a police source told Aftonbladet.

The men are all in their twenties apart from one who is 33.

Following the alleged attack, the woman called the police only after waiting for the suspected perpetrators to fall alseep or leave the apartment.

The flat where the suspected rape took place is owned by the Migration Board (Migrationsverket) and inhabited by asylum seekers.

It is not known how extensive the woman’s injuries are.

“Naturally she is not doing so well, but she doesn’t appear to have any life-threatening injuries,” said Edlund to news site Nyheter24.

”She is safe now,” prosecutor Klas Lorefors said to Aftonbladet after the men had been arrested.

Police have confiscated a number of things from the apartment and tests, including DNA test, are being analyzed at the Swedish National Laboratory of Forensic Science (Statens kriminaltekniska laboratorium – SKL).

British Womans Refugee Gang Rape.

Austrian Times  03. 11. 11.

The brutal gang rape of a British woman by five Afghan refugees has sparked a massive protest against illegal immigrants in a Serbian spa town. The 38-year-old woman – who bravely managed to film the attack on her mobile phone – was repeatedly raped after befriending a group of Afghan men in a park in Banja Koviljaca. Despite handing the video footage to police, only one alleged attacker – identified by police only as Abdurashid D., 25 – has been arrested. Now local mothers have told police they are boycotting local schools from next week (nov 7) unless they clear out a local refugee centre containing more than 2,500 illegal immigrants which was built to hold just 120.

“These people are always hanging around the parks and streets during the day causing trouble,” said one mum. “They have no respect for us, no respect for women and we want them gone because they have no right to be here. “My daughter isn’t going to school again while four refugee rapists are still on the streets,” she added.

The British victim had travelled to Serbia after striking up a Facebook friendship with a man who told her he lived in a town called Lozinca. When she couldn’t find him, the woman flew on to the spa resort Banja Koviljaca where she began chatting to three Afghan men in a local park. But when they invited her for a drink at a local hotel, they met up with two other men and she was dragged behind the building and raped repeatedly. Police said that Abdurashid D. has admitted sex with the woman, but claims it was consensual, although he was unable to explain medical evidence showing injuries suffered by the woman. The case has shocked locals in the region, which is the most popular spa resort in the country and regarded as one of the mainstays of Serbia’s tourism business. http://www.austriantimes.at/news/Around_the_World/2011-11-03/37324/Brit_Womans_Refugee_Gang_Rape ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………   Now compare this to the British newspaper coverage of one of their own citizens being raped…… The Daily Mirror

Illegal immigrants ‘gang rape British woman in Serbia’

A BRITISH woman secretly filmed a gang rape by five Afghani immigrants on her phone after flying to Serbia to meet a Facebook friend, police say. The 38-year-old, who has since returned home, was attacked on Thursday after failing to find her online pal. A 25-year-old man has been arrested. Locals in Banja Koviljaca, in the west of the country, have complained over the drunken behaviour of the town’s 2,500 illegal immigrants.

Oslo’s Epidemic of Rape

From Front Page Magazine

By Bruce Bawer

Posted By Bruce Bawer On October 28, 2011 @ 12:16 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage | 49 Comments

Back in May it was reported that every rape assault in the city of Oslo in the last five years had been committed by a person with a “non-Western” background – a Norwegian euphemism for Muslim.  Now it turns out that there have already been twice as many rape assaults in Oslo so far this year as there were in all of 2010.   At least one member of Parliament, André Oktay Dahl of the Conservative Party, calls the situation “critical” and is brave enough to acknowledge that many of the perpetrators come from cultures “with a reprehensible attitude toward women.”

The Conservative Party has proposed several measures to combat what is being described as a rape epidemic: more money for the police; more police in the streets and doing investigations; faster results from DNA tests; the introduction of volunteer auxiliary police.  There is something to be said for these proposals.  Policing in Norway is a scandal.  This summer it was reported that police departments all over Norway were so short-handed that they were unequipped to deal with the armies of drunks staggering home from bars on weekends after closing time.  It was also reported that only fourteen of 430 new graduates of Norway’s police academy had been offered jobs.

The scandalous fact is that Norway, for all its wealth, has chosen not to invest overmuch in law and order.  The very idea is simply too reactionary-sounding for the ’68-ers and their heirs in the political and bureaucratic corridors of power.  As I wrote elsewhere a few months ago, “Norway wastes millions of kroner ever year on ‘development aid’ that ends up largely in the pockets of corrupt African dictators; it pours millions more into the pockets of non-Western immigrants who have become masters at exploiting the welfare system; for heaven’s sake, the Norwegian government even funds anarchists.  It’s not entirely misguided for a Norwegian citizen to feel that his tax money is going less to fight the crime that threatens his home, his self, and his business than to support criminals.”

So Norway needs more cops – there’s no question about that.  At the same time, beefing up the police force wouldn’t even begin to address the problem that’s at the root of the country’s growing rape crisis: the presence in Norway, and especially in Oslo, of ever-growing numbers of people who have nothing but contempt for Western culture, who have absolutely no concept of respect for members of religions other than their own, and who have been brought up on the idea that women who dare to walk the street alone and without veils covering their faces deserve to be violated.

Not so very many years ago, Oslo was virtually a rape-free city, inhabited by people who had been brought up on civilized notions of mutual respect and tolerance.  No longer.  Over the years, the incidence of rape has risen steadily.  A wildly disproportionate number of the perpetrators are “rejected asylum seekers” – which may sound puzzling unless you are aware of the perverse state of affairs whereby even persons officially rejected for asylum in Norway are still allowed to stay.  And the increasing temerity of the rapists – who know very well that they will probably not be caught, and, if caught, will not be severely punished – is reflected in the fact that the most recent rape (in which two men assaulted a 21-year-old woman) took place virtually in the backyard of the Royal Palace.

Group defends anti-Islamic flier given near schools

CLAIREMONT, CA (KGTV/CNN) – A religious organization in San Diego County has come under fire for passing out fliers near high schools that have a distinct anti-Muslim theme.

The two page flier is headlined “Ayatollah Khomeini Had Sex With a 4 Year Old Girl!” and blasts Islam for its beliefs.

Zac Patchett found the flier after his sister, a sophomore at Clairemont High School, took it home.

“I was just personally offended,” Patchett said. “It goes against being an American.”

But Gary Cass, a member of Defend Christians, the group behind the fliers, does not see anything wrong with the handout’s sharp tone.

“This isn’t racist at all,” Cass said. “All it’s doing is telling the truth about a group of people that are organized around a religious ideology. It transcends race.”

Indonesia: Jakarta governor comes under fire by women’s rights groups

last update: September 19, 16:13

Jakarta, 19 Sept. (AKI/Jakarta Post) – Indonesian women’s rights activists condemned Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo for his statement that shifted the blame for a spike in rape cases onto women wearing tight and revealing outfits.

Fauzi said on Friday that women should not wear miniskirts when riding public transportation vehicles to avoid “any unwanted consequences”.

“I urge women in Jakarta and other cities to avoid wearing miniskirts when they ride on these minivans, because this could arouse male drivers and passengers,” Fauzi said responding to questions on what the city government would do to reduce the number of rape cases in the city. Activists were outraged by the statement, saying that it was a shameful statement from a public official.

“Fauzi should just resign. The governor of Jakarta should not make such statements as it does not reflect good governance principles,” said director of Jurnal Perempuan Foundation Mariana Amiruddin.

Mariana said that rape should be considered as a crime, no matter what triggered the act.

“By attributing rape to how women dress Fauzi is blaming the victims. This is like saying that if Fauzi drove the minivan, he would think that it would be all right for him to rape female passengers in mini skirts,” she said.

Chairperson of the National Commission on Violence against Women (Komnas Perempuan) Yuniyanti Chuzaifah said that Fauzi’s statement was a classic statement of authority putting the blame on victims.

“His statement suggests that it is women who should be responsible [when a rape occurs],” she said.

Yuniyanti said Fauzi had done a lousy job in gender education for Jakarta residents.

“As the highest-ranking official in the city, Fauzi should be aware that people follow his example. If he’s saying things like this, people will think that he’s right,” she said.

This is not the first time government officials have made statements that shifted the blame for rape onto women.

In 2009, West Aceh regent Ramli Mansur made national headlines for suggesting that it was all right to rape a woman who wore tight pants.
