Islamists Take Over Egypt Library of Alexandria to Be Burned Again; Food for Half-Price

The Royal Library of Alexandria in Egypt, the largest and most significant library of the ancient world, is now being targeted by radical Muslims who seek to replace it with a mosque.

Radical Islamic groups claim that the library’s art programs, which include music and ballet dancing, spread “depravity” in Egyptian society.

The Islamist campaign against the library is taking place under the looking eyes of Egypt’s military dictators, who are burying their heads in the sand and refusing to see the danger, noted columnist Mohammed al-Hamamsi.

“Is the Supreme Military Council waiting until the Islamists come to power and demand, through their parliament, that the library be demolished and that a mosque be built on its site?” al-Hamamsi asked rhetorically.

The destruction of the library will mark the beginning of Egypt’s fall into the hands of the Islamists, who seek to take the Arabs and Muslims back to dark ages.

Fears over the fate of the legendary library surfaced following a dispute between the director and the majority of his workers.

Director Ismail Serageldin has been under fire for his alleged affiliation with the former regime of President Hosni Mubarak and crackdown on freedom of speech in the library.

But he and many Egyptians are convinced that the campaign is part of a scheme by Muslim extremists to take control over one of the world’s most important cultural and scientific institutions.

I believe that Mohamed, once the SOB actually took the city of Mecca, made it his mission to destroy all the ‘idols’ in the Kaaba, itself now a Muslim idol where bizarre and pointless rituals are conducted to cement ones Muslim faith. I suppose this fellow thought he was doing Mohamed’s work, which of course he was. The stone Buddhas in Afghanistan being another modern example of wonton destruction of anything not Islamic.

An immigrant from the Maghreb has entered the sanctuary of Saint Calogero and has destroyed the image of the patron saint, last July 9th.

The church was open for the 7:30 mass, when the immigrant, of North African origins, has entered and gone directly into the sacristy, where the statue of Saint Calogero was. He took it and threw it violently against the wall, destroying it completely.

A believer who was at the church had tried to arrest the immigrant, but was hurt. Four policemen were needed to control the man and then to arrest him.

Saint Calomero, a Greek saint, lived in the city in the Vth century, evangelised Sicily and is much revered in the island. He is always represented as a black man. In fact, the Agrigento’s archbishop has praised him as “an example of integration between people”.

Is The Fate of the Infidels Tied to the Buddhas?

No fanfare and little notice marked the 10th anniversary earlier this year of the destruction of the 1,500-year-old Bamiyan Buddhas.  These 6th-century stately statues carved into sandstone cliffs in central Afghanistan included one of the tallest standing Buddhas in the world.  On March 12, 2001, the 180- and 121-foot Buddhas crumpled under dynamite set off by the Taliban — the Islamist militia group ruling Afghanistan from 1996 through late 2001.  Mullah Omar, the leader of the Al Qaeda-supported movement, deemed the statutes idolatrous graven images insulting to Islam and ordered their destruction.  Other Buddhist images, including statues and relief carvings as well as ancient Sikh gurdwaras and Hindu temples, were also destroyed by the Islamic terrorists belonging to the Taliban Movement.

This kind of cultural destruction has been part and parcel of Islam since its inception.  According to Dr. Bill Warner, founder of the Center for the Study of Political Islam, “Political Islam has annihilated every culture it has invaded or immigrated to by destroying the host culture.”

Dr. Warner cites the extinction of a once-Christian Middle East, Turkey, and North Africa, and a Zoroastrian Persia, as a result of Islamic jihad.  He also includes the decimation of Hindus and Buddhists as well.  All told, he totals more than 270 million “nonbelievers,” including Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Africans, and Jews, who have died in Islamic massacres since the birth of Islam 1400 years ago.

Prior to the Islamic conquests, which began in the 7th century, Afghanistan was primarily Hindu with significant minorities of Buddhists and Jains.  Hinduism, the oldest living religion, began in the Indus Valley around 1500 B.C., in land which is today part of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Northwest India.  Many areas of Afghanistan had strong cultural links to the Indian sub-continent where Buddha was born in modern-day Nepal to a Hindu family during the 5th century B.C.  The religion he founded was an offshoot of his Hindu belief system.  In the 3rd century B.C., Buddhism spread from the Indian sub-continent to Central, East, and Southeast Asia.

Teachers reluctant to discuss 9/11

Islam once again manages to force the rest of the world to change historical, even contemporary historical fact and how it is taught to avoid ‘offending’ them in some way. Here is a thought. If Islam does not wish to be exposed as the ideology behind death, mass murder, destruction and retrograde actions to civilization, just get Muslims to stop doing all those things. Problem solved.

Teachers are reluctant to discuss the September 11 attacks on America because they fear it will provoke racism and Islamaphobia in class, according to a survey.

Those in schools with high numbers of Muslim children are particularly concerned about talking about the atrocity – despite it being arguably the defining event of the 21st century so far.

Alison Kitson, faculty director at the Institute of Education at London University, which carried out the survey, said teachers should “grasp the nettle” and tackle the subject. They should credit children with more maturity, she said.

Four in five teachers (81 per cent) said that when teaching the topic, it was a challenge to break “students’ stereotypes and prejudices about other cultures”.

The academics polled almost 200 teachers across the country and also visited eight schools: four in London, and one each in Leeds, Worcestershire, Oxford and Surrey.

At two schools, teachers showed “serious resistance” to raising the subject, while in another there was “some resistance” from staff.

Teachers in schools with higher proportions of children from ethnic minority backgrounds were most against discussing 9/11. Continue Reading →

UNESCO obviously have been taken over my Muslims (OIC) just like most of the UN. We all know that in the near impossible event that Buddhists had blown up a grand mosque in Afghanistan with tons of historical significance that it would be being rebuilt at UN expense before the last bit of dust hit the ground.

PERNICIOUS ANTI-ISRAEL DOCUMENTARY TARGETS CHRISTIAN EVANGELICAL AUDIENCES

The name of the video itself should sound off warning bells and whistles, “Little Town of Bethlehem“.

The film is actually a disingenuous attempt to draw moral comparisons between the legitimate demands of Black Americans in the 60’s seeking equality in a segregated United States, with a people whose own institutions have repeatedly denied equality to minorities in the areas under their own governance as well as seeking the destruction of another people.

The Arabs living within the Palestinian Authority and in Gaza, persecute their own minorities while forbidding a Jew the right to build a home, let alone live, in the areas of Judea and Samaria. Arab women are brutalized with next to little means to seek justice, homosexuals live in secret and young couples cannot even be seen kissing in public, let alone holding hands. Arab Christians have been leaving their ancient towns in Judea and Samaria ever since Arafat left Tunisia for Ramallah.

Palestinian children are brainwashed in their schools, summer camps, mosques and through their social media to hate the Jews and to seek their murder, with the hope of obtaining a violent death for themselves in order to acheive eternal bliss in the hereafter. If that’s not child abuse what is?

Scenes in the video of Blacks in the US marching arm in arm to protest for their god given rights to live as a free people, can never be compared to a people who loathe “the other” and refuse to live in co-existence with them. The Palestinians (especially the Hamas and other terror orgs.) resemble the KKK, not civil rights activists that laid down their lives for Blacks during the Civil Rights era, of whom some were Jews. What a disgrace of Martin Luther King’s memory and legacy.

The Rev. Martin Luther King would be appalled at his civil rights movement being connected with a people who are for the most part, supremacists themselves, and who are not fighting for equality with another people, but for their destruction as a people.

The Tundra Tabloids views this propaganda film as a modern day version of what passed for “cinema” during the Nazi years in the Third Reich. Wake up you Evangelicals in the US, don’t let these idiots take you for one as well. KGS

 

PROFESSOR KARSH CORRECTS BERNARD LEWIS’ STATEMENTS ON PRE-MODERN MID-EASTERN REGIMES

Efraim Karsh, head of Middle East and Mediterranean Studies at King’s College London is a scholar’s scholar, and has written a number of books, many of which line the Tundra Tabloids’ own book shelf. He writes in the J’lem Post a very interesting article highlighting the often violent past of pre-Middle-Eastern regimes, the early Islamic ummah set the tone for future generations, and history bears out that nothing has changed since then. KGS

A legacy of violence

J’Post: Turbulent times often breed nostalgia for a supposedly idyllic past. Viewing the upheavals sweeping the Middle East as a mass expression of outrage against oppression, eminent historian Bernard Lewis fondly recalled past regional order.

“The sort of authoritarian, even dictatorial regimes that rule most of the countries in the modern Islamic Middle East are a modern creation. They are a result of modernization,” he told The Jerusalem Post. “The pre-modern regimes were much more open, much more tolerant. You can see this from a number of contemporary descriptions. And the memory of that is still living.”

I doubt past generations of Muslims would share this view. In the long history of the Islamic empire, the wide gap between delusions of grandeur and the forces of localism would be bridged time and again by force of arms, making violence a key element of Islamic political culture. No sooner had the prophet Muhammad died than his successor, Abu Bakr, had to suppress a widespread revolt among the Arabian tribes. Twenty-three years later, the head of the umma, Caliph Uthman ibn Affan, was murdered by disgruntled rebels; his successor, Ali ibn Abi Talib, was confronted for most of his reign with armed insurrections, most notably by the governor of Syria, Mu’awiya ibn Abi Sufian, who went on to establish the Umayyad dynasty after Ali’s assassination.

Mu’awiya’s successors managed to hang onto power mainly by relying on physical force to prevent or quell revolts in the diverse corners of their empire. The same was true for the Abbasids during the long centuries of their sovereignty.

In light of recent events in Egypt, I think this has become a very important article.

Egypt as every schoolkid knows, is one of, if not the, most important archaeologically/historically rich nations on earth. What we learn about ourselves from Egyptian history matters a great deal to keeping us on the right course. I post this article because it needs to be understood what the cost is to history itself if Ikhwan, the Muslim Brotherhood ever gets power in Egypt the way the Muslims did in Iran and Saudi Arabia. This is no mere clash of ideologies. This is the destruction of the time line itself.

Digging up the Saudi past: Some would rather not

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Much of the world knows Petra, the ancient ruin in modern-day Jordan that is celebrated in poetry as “the rose-red city, ‘half as old as time,'” and which provided the climactic backdrop for “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”

But far fewer know Madain Saleh, a similarly spectacular treasure built by the same civilization, the Nabateans.

That’s because it’s in Saudi Arabia, where conservatives are deeply hostile to pagan, Jewish and Christian sites that predate the founding of Islam in the 7th century.

But now, in a quiet but notable change of course, the kingdom has opened up an archaeology boom by allowing Saudi and foreign archaeologists to explore cities and trade routes long lost in the desert.

The sensitivities run deep. Archaeologists are cautioned not to talk about pre-Islamic finds outside scholarly literature. Few ancient treasures are on display, and no Christian or Jewish relics. A 4th or 5th century church in eastern Saudi Arabia has been fenced off ever since its accidental discovery 20 years ago and its exact whereabouts kept secret. Continue Reading →

Every-time you think you understand the depth and breadth of human cruelty, you discover your own limited, and perhaps mercifully so, imagination. I happened to catch a celebration of the passing of the torch to Kim’s son in North Korea on TV last night. A nation that is willing to force an entire people to starve to the point where they are actually by average measurably shorter than their south Korean counterparts on average just to maintain the thinnest possible mirage of superiority to the west. It staggers the mind that university students would not dare to walk around in Nazi paraphernalia, but would sport every kind of communist symbol they can find with pride.

Communism did and still does, logarithmically more horror, slavery and cruelty than the Nazis managed. The fact that left leaning, western universities have managed to hide all that and make it fashionable is itself a crime.

In any case, at the end of this clip I posted a tinyurl I made for the following documentary made by American journalists who visited North Korea. Ill post it below the clip-vid I made here. Thanks to TL for sending me the link for the documentary. I wish they would show it to all university 1st year students.

Please try and find the time to watch it. Not only is it very good, it is also important to realize that communism is still, to this very day, breaking and chaining the ankles of a wonderful people while just miles away, freedom allows the very same people to be massively creative, wealthy, and well fed.
