Nando’s axes Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe ‘dictator’ advert

A South African fast food chain has withdrawn a TV advert which pokes fun at Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe as “the last dictator standing”.
Nando’s South Africa said it decided to act after receiving threats to its staff in Zimbabwe from a youth group loyal to Mr Mugabe.
The video shows a sad Mugabe look-a-like dining alone at a table set for Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, Uganda’s Idi Amin and other late autocratic rulers.
The firm is known for its cheeky ads.

“We’ve noted with concern the political reaction emanating out of Zimbabwe, including perceived threats against Nando’s Zimbabwe’s management, staff and customers,” Nando’s South Africa said in a statement.
“We feel strongly that this is the prudent step to take in a volatile climate and believe that no TV commercial is worth risking the safety of Nando’s staff and customers.”
The video – which reportedly cost up to $370,000 (£236,000) to produce – was part of a Christmas festive season campaign running on South African TV.
American aid worker Warren Weinstein kidnapped in Pakistan

Warren Weinstein, 63, was snatched at dawn in the upmarket neighbourhood of Model Town, just two days before he was due to end his four-year-long post in Pakistan and return to the US.
“Somebody knocked on the main door. They offered meals to the guard, who politely refused,” said Tajamul Hussain, a police official.
“Five more men climbed into the house using the back door, overpowered the guards and tied their hands behind their back. They asked Weinstein’s driver to knock on his bedroom door. When the US citizen opened the door, they snatched him.”
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the abduction. Kidnappings in Pakistan are common, both by criminals and the Pakistani Taliban and other Islamic militant groups, which use the ransom money to fund their activities.
Mr Weinstein was working as the Pakistan country director of Virginia-based development company J.E. Austin Associates. He described his work as supervising a four-year $11 million “competitiveness project”, funded by the American government, which was involved in dairy, horticulture, furniture, and medical equipment projects.

Death threats force French ‘Mohammed’ paper offline
I wouldn’t be surprised at all to find that it was the same primitive savages who attacked this blog yesterday with a DDOS attack originating out of Amsterdam, who also attacked the ISP below. I say primitive savages because a savage can easily direct an aircraft at a building, for example, while a civilized person can construct either or both and have them work in harmony till the savages get a hold of them.

The website of the French satirical weekly that was firebombed after publishing images of the Prophet Mohammed was offline Thursday because of death threats against the Belgian company hosting it.
Host Bluevision took Charlie Hebdo’s site offline after it was the victim of a cyberattack following Wednesday’s issue featuring Mohammed as “guest editor” and has remained offline after the company received death threats.
Bluevision “doesn’t want to put it back online (because) they received death threats,” charliehebdo.fr’s editor Valerie Manteau told AFP.
“Either the police reassure them and we manage to convinced them to put it back online, or we change host.”
Charlie Hebdo’s Paris offices were firebombed early Wednesday after it published a special Arab Spring edition with Mohammed on the cover as “guest editor” saying: “100 lashes if you don’t die of laughter!”
The newspaper’s website was also hacked, with its regular home page replaced with a photo of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and a message reading: “No god but Allah”.
French news site nouvelobs.com said the cyberattack was carried out by Turkish hacker group Akincilar, which said it took the action to “fight against a publication that attacks beliefs and moral values.”
Manteau said that Charlie Hedbo’s Facebook page would soon be closed to outside comments after thousands vented their anger over the weekly’s “Sharia Hebdo” edition, including by making death threats.
“Police are collecting the data of those who have posted death threats,” said Manteau. “As soon as they’ve finished, we will close the comments page.”

This is my most refreshing video of the day. The fact that someone dares to actually report on the situation in France. Something only blogs have reported and are widely condemned for it. This is a major thing. If one whacko who claims to be a Christian shoots one abortion doctor, a thing which should never happen but has happened something like 4 times, it gets used to paint all of Christendom as psychos ready to kill doctors at a moments notice even though their actions where not condoned by any church or scripture. Meanwhile…
This goes on nearly daily somewhere at one church or another, and it doesn’t even get reported and when it does, every effort is made to sanitize Islam out of it, even though there is very good evidence that the instructions come from mosques and there is clear and easy to find proof that Islamic scripture demands this behavior.
MP Mike Freer ‘threatened at mosque surgery’

Mike Freer is a member of the Conservative Friends of IsraelAn MP has described how he waited for police behind a locked door during a constituency surgery after he was threatened by a group of men.
Mike Freer said it happened at North Finchley mosque in north London as he met constituents on Friday afternoon.
Mr Freer said about 12 people forced their way inside, with one of them calling him a “Jewish homosexual pig”.
The trouble began after messages on the Muslims Against Crusades website urged supporters to target him, he said.
Mr Freer said a message posted ahead of the incident on the group’s website made reference to Labour MP Stephen Timms, who was stabbed while holding a surgery in east London last year. Continue Reading →
Turkish Grey Wolves attack Kurdish targets in Amsterdam, France and Germany
Multiculturalism: Everywhere in the world you go, gangs of Muslims riot, attack things and burn stuff chanting the same two words.
The demonstrators tried to go to Sloterkade, where the Kurdish centre is located. When the riots started, the demonstrators came to blows with the police and smashed in car windshields and the Kurdish cultural center was damaged. There are several injured, onlookers. The neighborhood is sealed now by police.
Protesters threw stones and beat police with sticks. There are many rumors that shots were fired during the riots.
The protest earlier today was directed against “terrorism”, and in particular the Kurdish separatist PKK.
It seems yesterday’s attack on Kurds in Holland was part of a Europe wide coordinated effort by Turks, part of the ‘Gray Wolves’ movement (you can tell my the hand sign salute many are doing in all of the videos) and Kurdish associated buildings, shops and or businesses were attacked by Turks in all locations.
Isn’t it a grand idea to include Turkey in the EU and drop all requirements for passports etc? The video above is from Stuttgart. Below, from Saint-Étienne in France. Both of these were found at Islam Vs. Europe. It is important to note the mix of ‘Allahu Ackbar’s and the fascist chants and signs from the Turks. The Grey Wolves are worth a moment to look up.
I am reliably informed that they also smashed up a Kurdish shop in Saint-Etienne in France after this protest march.

A MUSLIM physiotherapist who launched into a racist rant when a patient refused to undergo acupuncture at a Sheffield clinic has been struck off.
Zaffar Ali told the Christian woman her faith was ‘wrong’ and had ‘killed more people than any other religion’ after she said the treatment was against her beliefs.
He ‘tore into’ her at an NHS clinic in Sheffield, lambasting her with a series of ‘inappropriate remarks’ in an attempt to pressure her into accepting his recommendation, the Health Professions Council heard.
Ali, formerly of Shirebrook Road, Heeley, claimed he was trying to show her ‘another viewpoint’ but a string of charges against him were proved at a misconduct hearing.
He was already subject to a four-year caution imposed by the HPC in 2009 after he received criminal convictions for harassment and battery and was sacked from Sheffield NHS Primary Care Trust. Continue Reading →
