A row has erupted over an atheist society at a top London University posting a cartoon sketch featuring the prophet Muhammad having a drink with Jesus on its Facebook page.
A student Muslim group is demanding the ‘offensive’ image of Jesus and Mo having a drink at the bar, taken from an online satirical sketch, be removed from the social networking site.
The president of the Atheist, Secularist and Humanist society at the prestigious University College London (UCL), Robbie Yellon, has stepped down over the controversy.

But the Society still refuses to take down the image – claiming its right to defend ‘freedom of expression’.

Earlier today an Islamic terror group in Norway posted a video on YouTube threatening the Prime Minister, the Crown Prince, and Norwegians in general with a violent, painful death. The video was linked by a leftist Facebook group set up to publicize Friday’s demonstration in front of Parliament against the war in Afghanistan.
Our Norwegian correspondent Valdemar sends his summary of recent events in his country. Below his account is the threatening video, followed by two news articles about what happened today.

A summary of the events so far this month serve to show the insane mentality of the Multicultural elites in Norway.
On the 9th of January, the state news agency NRK reported on the story of 21-year-old rape victim Loiza Lohibi being harassed at Facebook by members of The Religion of Peace. Why? She is a convert from Islam to Christianity (and, ironically, a member of AUF, the same social democratic youth organization which was hit by the mass murderer Anders B. Breivik). The messages she received from false Facebook profiles said that she was a dirty infidel who deserved to be raped, and similar sentiments.
A comment by the historian and expert on Islam Kari Vogt explains this behaviour as “frustrated youth in opposition to society”. Harassing rape victims was a rather odd way of expressing frustration in Norway a generation ago, when Norway was boring and monocultural. It is maybe appropriate after some cultural enrichment, when it comes to how to act when “frustrated”?
On the 12th of January, former Norwegian Prime Minister and current Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, expressed strong discontent in the left-wing newspaperDagsavisen about several European countries wanting less international legislation and more self-government. U.N. Must Condemn Latest Hamas Brutality
GENEVA, Jan. 17 – The stabbing in Gaza of a Palestinian rights activist after he exposed Hamas’ contempt for its own people by using them as human shields, and after he criticized the radical Islamic group for torture, abuse and trampling free speech, should be strongly condemned by the United Nations—both as an attack on the victim’s human rights, and on the idea of freedom of expression.
Masked attackers on Friday stabbed Mahmud Abu Rahma multiple times in the back, leg and shoulders, it was revealed today.
This latest attack on a rights activist underscores Gaza’s brutally enforced intolerance for any discourse other the anti-Israel mantras of Hamas, which rules the area with an iron fist.
The attack only proves the simple truth of the victim’s words.
Abu Rahma’s crime was publishing an article in the Palestinian press that dared to criticize Hamas’ “outrageous attack upon free expression and peaceful assembly” over the past year, and the “hundreds of cases of torture and abuse.”
Abu Rahma also dared to publish basic facts about Gaza that completely contradict the Hamas narrative, and that of the UN’s Goldstone Report, which repeatedly found “no evidence” that Hamas used civilians as human shields.
What is remarkable is that with all of the massive UN resources ostensibly dedicated to protecting Palestinians—the 16-member Division for Palestinian Rights, the 20-odd resolutions on Palestinians last year by the General Assembly, the Human Rights Council’s special agenda item on Palestinians at every session, resolutions on Palestinians by UNESCO, the WHO and numerous other agencies, the full-time post of “Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in Palestine” held by Richard Falk—still, with all that and more, the world body somehow managed to turn a blind eye to the massive violations of Palestinian rights described by Abu Rahma (click here for source):
• Although Abu Rahma considers Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terrorist organizations to be “resistance groups,” he said they “show little or no care for people’s life and well being.”
• “Military training sites function and are located in places very close to neighborhoods and/or schools, from where acts of resistance, including firing rockets, also occur.” As a result, “The population of these locations are inevitably vulnerable to Israeli attacks.”
• “Numerous people were injured from live fire coming from resistance groups training sites; including children and at least one man who lost his eye.”
• “There is a training site in the town of Beit Lahiya that threatens people every day, including a girl who was injured inside her school when an explosion occurred in this site on Sep. 20 2011.”
• “Explosions also occur frequently in densely-populated areas around Gaza, and have their victims, many of whom are children.”
• A man in the al-Nasser neighborhood in Gaza city, whose house is near a military training site, “complained to the resistance members many times. He explained the family’s fear for their life and house. But he was told the family could move out of the area, even if they had no resources to move. He died the way he feared most: tragically.”
• “The state of carelessness from the part of resistance is also causing continued victims of the misfiring of home-made rockets that fall on houses inside Gaza. Many of the victims are children and all of them are civilians who happen to be in their homes.”
• “There are more victims of shootings from, or explosions in, training sites. Many children are killed or maimed when explosive devices left in the streets or farms explode in their hands. And there is the young man who was shot in the legs for daring to publicly criticize a local resistance leader.”
If the UN’s colossal pro-Palestinian infrastructure would have truly done its job and reported the above simple facts about Hamas perfidy to the world’s attention, it is fair to ask whether Abu Rahma would have been assaulted for writing his article.
The incident raises serious questions about the ability of the Palestinians to create a democratic state where people feel free to question their government without fear of being seriously injured or killed for doing so.
The attack should be immediately denounced by Navi Pillay, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, by Irina Bokova, the director general of UNESCO, the world agency mandated to uphold press freedom, and by Frank La Rue, the UN Human Rights Council’s Special Rapporteur on freedom of expression.
The attack is also serious enough for its implications that even the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, should personally condemn it.
Our call for UNESCO to act comes as UN Watch heads a campaign comprising 55 parliamentarians, religious groups and prominent human rights activists that is urging the organization’s executive board to reverse its November decision to place Syria on a pair of committees, one of them dealing with human rights.
Britain recently informed UN Watch that it has agreed to challenge Syria’s membership, and news reports say the U.S. is playing a leading role in the effort, to be decided at UNESCO’s upcoming March session.

A talk on sharia and human rights by NSS Council Member Anne Marie Waters’ at Queen Mary College, London was cancelled at the last moment because of an Islamist who made serious threats against everyone there.
The talk was due to take place on 16 January but before it started, a man entered the lecture theatre, stood at the front with a camera and filmed the audience. He then said that he knew who everyone was, where they lived and if he heard anything negative about the Prophet, he would track them down.
The man also filmed students in the foyer and threatened to murder them and their families. On leaving the building, he joined a large group of men, apparently there to support him. Students were told by security to stay in the lecture theatre for their own safety.
Jennifer Hardy, President of Queen Mary Atheism Society, who organised the event said: “This event was supposed to be an opportunity for people of different religions and perspectives to debate, at a university that is supposed to be a beacon of free speech and debate.
“Only two complaints had been made to the Union prior to the event, and the majority of the Muslim students at the event were incredibly supportive of it going ahead. These threats were an aggressive assault on freedom of speech and the fact that they led to the cancellation of our talk was severely disappointing for all of the religious and non-religious students in the room who wanted to engage in debate.”
The police were contacted about the incident.

A commenter suggested following up this article with the video of the complete attack on Lars Vilks when he made his admittedly provocative lecture. I agree. THese two things are the same. Both at universities and both were attempts to discuss the influence of sharia law and Islam on European secular democracy. While Lars’s presentation was meant to inflame and the recent London one likely not, it makes no difference. In both cases Muslims would not tolerate any opinion given on Islam that was not in accord with their allowable views.
‘Rival families in street brawl’

A 71-YEAR-OLD mosque leader and his 67-year-old wife took part in a violent attack on a rival family in massive street brawl, a court heard.
Nadir Khan, president of the New Medina Mosque, and other members of his family, attacked Mohammed Iqbal Khan and his family on August 7, 2009, Bolton Crown Court was told yesterday.
A jury heard that Nadir Khan’s family, referred to as the Marlborough Street group, were armed with baseball bats, cricket bats and a car steering wheel lock.
The 10 defendants are all charged with violent disorder and a variety of other offences, all of which have been denied.
The families attend the same mosque and have a long standing grievance towards each other, the jury was told.

A SCHOOLBOY aged ten has been arrested over a vicious attack on two middle-aged women teachers.
One victim suffered a broken leg and a suspected dislocated kneecap and the other sustained facial injuries at the school.
The teachers, both in their 50s, were taken to hospital by ambulance following the alleged assault in Orpington, South East London, at 1pm on Thursday.
Staff called police who arrested the ten-year-old pupil on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The boy was taken to a nearby police station and questioned by specially-trained officers in the presence of an adult. He was bailed until the middle of next month.
Savage
The savage lunchtime attack shocked other staff and pupils at the school.
One source said: “The nature of the injuries was very serious.
“The officers who turned up were amazed when they discovered the suspect was only ten.
“It is a truly extraordinary thing to happen and makes you wonder what the world is coming to.”
Latest figures for 2010 show 251 teachers were assaulted by pupils in England and Wales. Forty-four had to go to hospital.
Almost half of all teachers leave the profession within five years after qualifying. The biggest reason they give for going is abuse, violence or the threat of violence from aggressive pupils.
A recent report also revealed more than one in three teachers has also been a victim of bullying — ONLINE.
One head teacher was driven to the brink of suicide by a hate campaign, the UK Safer Internet Centre said.
Snubbed millionaire’s brutal attack on girlfriend

A Norwegian girl was brutally attacked by her boyfriend as she refused to marry him.
Twenty four year old Sulvy Leopreez Sakkur was severely beaten by her Egyptian millionaire boyfriend.
The lady confirmed the news in an interview with Al Wafd newspaper. She identified her boyfriend as Ahmed AL Ajati, the son of Egyptian millionaire Yahiya Al Ajati.
She said, “The reason behind this was because I refused to marry him and asked him to end our relationship”.
Sulvy said she feared to speak up about her ordeal for fear of being punished more by the businessman and his son.
The incident took place on September 7th when she was in her flat at Ma’adi accompanied by her boyfriend. Sulvy asked him to end their relationship and refused his marriage proposal.
She was surprised by his reactiono as he started screaming hysterically then hit her small dog on the wall and trumpled it under his feet.
She pleaded and begged him to stop, but instead directed his anger towards her. He hit her hard on his face and stomach.

DUSHANBE. – An outrageous incident occurred in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, where a group of religious fanatics killed Santa Claus.
Parvis Davlatbekov wore as Santa Claus to congratulate his friends for the New Year. However, a group of fanatics attacked and stabbed him by crying ‘infidel’ in the street.
The young man died on Monday without coming into consciousness. The unprecedented tragic incident is widely discussed in Facebook, ITARR-TASS reports.
Tajikistani MFA acknowledged officially the incident. However, it rejected that the brutal killing occurred on religious grounds but claims it was a regular violence.
Meantime, local media calls to pay attention to the discussions whether it is right to celebrate the New Year in a state where 98 % of population is Muslims.

When NATO planes launched their air campaign over Libya’s skies last spring and Western leaders said that Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi had to go, the first regime to change was at the London School of Economics. Oxford University’s Wolfson College, which the late Sir Isaiah Berlin helped establish, is now the academic home of 42-year-old Mehdi Hashemi Bahramani Rafsanjani, the fourth child of former Iranian president Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. These days, Rafsanjani the elder styles himself a champion of Iran’s reformists. But having tied the family fortune and its connections to the cause of challenging current president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad does not make Rafsanjani a liberal democrat. In addition to the violence and repression he is responsible for inside Iran, he has also been one of the Islamic Republic’s chief exporters of terrorism. As president, Rafsanjani dispatched Iranian hitmen to kill Iranian exiles across Europe. There is an arrest warrant against him from Argentinian prosecutors for the 1994 bombing of a Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires that killed 85 people. The son it seems has followed in his father’s path.

Funny, but before massive Islamic immigration to the UK, you just didn’t hear that much about people carrying the decapitated heads of their neighbors on city busses in clear plastic bags. Just wasn’t that common in the news as I recall. My memory could be faulty though, Perhaps I don’t have my head screwed on quite right today.

An illegal immigrant who raped a nanny and decapitated his neighbour had his life sentence cut by six years today.
Algerian Mohamed Boudjenane, 49, assaulted the Filipina woman and shaved off her hair before killing Lakhdar Ouyahia, 43, in the belief the two were having an affair.
Boudjenane was captured on CCTV carrying the head of Mr Ouyahia in a plastic bag on a bus to Regents Canal in Maida Vale, West London.

The headless corpse was found wrapped in a duvet two days later at the back of a supermarket near Boudjenane’s home in Kilburn, North-West London.

Teens jailed for brutal Berlin metro attack

A judge has handed down prison sentences of between four and six years to four young men charged with attempting to kill a man at a Berlin metro station earlier this year.
The three 18-year-olds and one 15-year-old were convicted of attempted murder for attacking a 30-year-old house painter and his co-worker at the German capital’s Lichtenberg U-Bahn station in February.
The victim’s co-worker escaped with minor injuries, but the 30-year-old suffered massive brain trauma during the beating and remains severely injured.
During the trial, prosecutors argued that the accused – all of whom are from immigrant backgrounds – had been motivated by “hate of Germans” and “having fun by committing gratuitous violence against the weak.”
