An amusing confrontation between atheists at a conference, and Muslims

I am still trying to piece together the details on this event. But no matter which video I watch, I can’t help but wonder how the media and police etc. would treat a large group of atheists if they were to go and chant threats at a Muslim demonstration in the same country. I think we all know the answer. Once again we see how sharia and islamic supremacism is implemented through fear in what are meant to be classically liberal nations.

Australia April 2012

This first video (Thanks Don L) seems to be taken by one of the ‘infidels’. I must say they have some amusing chants.

This one is from the dark side.

This one is an official video of the dark site where they edit out the mocking songs of the atheists and put in the usual Mustard-chants and cannon sounds and lions roaring.

Thanks again to Don L for all this info. As much as I think an atheist conference would be hard to understand, (How does one get together with others to talk about what one doesn’t believe in?) I think it is critically important to take note of the double standard here and do something about it. Write some letters, make some calls etc.

Australian football stadiums install prayer rooms for Muslims

Below, the description from SDAMAT’s youtube channel:

We’ll also be equal to those areas in Islamic prayer rooms, following the AFL’s decision last week to install such rooms at all AFL venues. “It’s again a demonstration of our inclusiveness,” said AFL boss Andrew Demetriou, who announced the move in response to calls from Richmond player and observant Muslim Bachar Houli (pictured). Australian (Iranian?) honour killer claims he is also a victim.

Yes the guy who slaughtered his wife claims somehow that he is also a victim. As is his wife. Who he slaughtered. Skip over to the Oz website to see CCTV footage of him just sitting around right after he butcher his wife with a knife. Fortunately, it seems his family are integrated well adjusted members of Australian society.

As usual, Muslims, this time in Australia, demand counterfeit rights.

There is no right not to be mocked, or to have other people hold sacred whatever you arbitrarily anoint as such. That would more properly be called a fetish in any case.

‘I say this is holy/magical/sacred/significant beyond the ordinary and if you do not treat it as such, I will force it on you by any means necessary.’

That is the Islamic way world wide and we see this on a daily basis in one place or another, often with fatal results where Islam holds enough sway. However in the world of reason, there are no rights for ideologies. Only for people. While you may preserve the right to believe what you will, an important right for all, there simply is no right to not have those beliefs criticized in the public market place. In fact, it is an utterly foundational right for a society based on reason, fleeting as that may be at this time, to be able to look at the causes of action, the prime movers of people, and subject them to scrutiny. In this spirit, did our Australian-artist friend, Sergio Redegalli painted his No Burqua mural which has been vandalized over 50 times so far. The most recent are below:

Ok so some (probably) Muslims, although I have it on good authority that most of this is actually being done by totalitarian leftists who put political correctness before basic liberties such as freedom of speech, have taken a childs approach to Sergio’s mural rather than actually debate the merits of his case. A case which by the way, I disagree with. I do not want burka bans. I do not want any more laws at all. I just want more freedom for us to discriminate against things which are against our interests, and I want no special exceptions for Muslims from already existing laws such as wearing a disguise in public. But I digress. Sergio who does want a ban on burkas has had his rights crushed over and over again. And with the following threat made abundantly clear in the form of a letter left at his door:

Muslims get pushy when men wear a burka to prove a point.

The reasoning is quite something. Apparently, freedom and choice is only for Muslims wherever they are. When non-Muslim men wear a burka to prove a point they get pushed around. The older man stood his ground with great honour though. That is why they picked on him I suppose.

WILLIE Brigitte, a Muslim convert arrested in Australia and extradited to France in 2003, is one of the 17 people detained after dawn raids against suspected Islamists, French police said today.

The head of France’s counterespionage agency says that Islamist radicals detained in a sweep around the country on Friday had a stash of arms, did physical training and may have been preparing a kidnapping.

Police continued to question the 17 people on Saturday, a day after they were taken into custody in the Paris region, Nantes, Marseille, Nice, and Toulouse, a police official close to the investigation said.

NSW govt. freezes funding to Muslim school for millions $ of fraud

THE NSW government has frozen funding to Sydney’s largest Islamic school after an Education Department audit found the school’s owners were charging the school millions of dollars in improper fees.

The department last night confirmed it had ceased funding of about $4.5 million to Malek Fahd school, after an investigation into the payments the school made in management fees and backdated rental fees to its owner, the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, the nation’s peak Muslim body.

In August last year, The Australian revealed that the Malek Fahd school in Greenacre in Sydney’s southwest had handed over $5.2m in fees to AFIC, in what the audit established was in breach of government funding guidelines.

A spokesman for the department said last night that following the audit — and the explanation given by the school’s management — funding had been frozen for the school.

“After receiving information from the school, the department provided advice to the minister, who approved the formation of an independent review panel to evaluate the school’s compliance with the not-for-profit requirements,” the spokesman said.

“Until the outcome of the panel’s report is known, funding has been suspended.”

It is understood the investigative panel is looking at how and where government funds have been funnelled from the school, and how the school could continue to be funded by the state government in the future.

The school will continue to operate with commonwealth funding. A spokesman for Federal Education Minister Peter Garrett said the federal government would provide $12m a year, with funds from school fees and other income accounting for another quarter of the school’s funds.

According to the school’s financial statement, it received a total of $19.6m in state and federal government funding in 2010, accounting for 74 per cent of the school’s overall funding, with just over $4m being provided by the state government.

According to documents obtained through the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, in 2010 the school paid $3.15m in unexplained “management fees” to AFIC, which included $2.2m in “management fees back charge”.

The school was also charged $2.59m in back rent after it retrospectively altered a lease agreement for the school land in 2009.

A good Muslim’s better life cut short by extremists

For story on killing of Chaudhary Muhammad Akram in Pakistan.A man ”true and honest” … Muhammad Akram with his grandson Wajeeh Ahmed on his wedding day in April 2010.

He fled persecution in Pakistan for a new life in Australia, but the pull of family led to his return. Now Muhammad Akram has been gunned down in what his family calls an assassination for being an Ahmadi Muslim.

MUHAMMAD AKRAM climbed on to the back of his grandson’s motorcycle to go home for lunch, not knowing he had just minutes to live. The pair rode through the streets of Nawabshah in Pakistan where the Sydney grandfather had spent much of his life. As they parked under a tree, a motorcycle approached. One of two men, his face covered by cloth, put the gun close to Mr Akram’s back and fired.

This was the first assassination of an Australian Ahmadi Muslim, say Mr Akram’s family. The killing was religiously motivated, says the Ahmadiyya community in Pakistan.

Some Muslims regard Ahmadis as heretical and their persecution by Sunni Muslim extremists is as old as Pakistan.

AN Australian-born Sharia law advocate allegedly used the facebook page of commercial radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O to issue a fake terrorist threat to the Sydney gay and lesbian Mardi Gras.

Ibrahim Siddiq-Conlon, a Muslim convert, faced Burwood local court in Sydney’s southwest today and dismissed his social media post as a “a moment of passion” that he “absolutely” regretted.

Mr Siddiq-Conlon was also accused of child pornography offences.

Australian Federal Police charged the self-confessed hater of democracy last month and he faced court today for the first time.

He was charged with using a carriage service to issue a hoax terrorist threat, possessing child abuse material, and using a carriage service to access child pornography.

Mr Siddiq-Conlon did not enter a plea and was released from the court on bail.

He emerged from the court saying he regretted issuing the hoax threat on the Kyle and Jackie O facebook page.

Father whipped family, daughter tells murder trial

But I bet these guys owned the best restaurant in all of Australia!

ABC Australia:

Updated February 22, 2012 15:02:14

A daughter of a man who is on trial for murdering his wife at the Adelaide Convention Centre has told the Supreme Court she saw her father being pulled off her mother with a knife in his hand.

Zialloh Abrahimzadeh allegedly murdered his wife in front of 300 people at a Persian community celebration at the Convention Centre in March 2010 by repeatedly stabbing her in the back.

The couple’s eldest daughter, 25-year-old Atena, has testified against her father.

She told the court he was an abusive and aggressive man.

Ms Abrahimzadeh said her father regularly punished his wife and children by slapping and whipping them.

She said he once beat her for an hour after catching her talking to a boy on the phone and tried to suffocate her with a pillow.

The woman told the court her father said he was not a man if he did not teach his family a lesson and he swore on the Koran that he would kill them.

She said her mother was scared when she saw him arrive at the function and security staff had been asked to move him.

Ms Abrahimzadeh told the court she turned and saw her mother on the floor and her father was being restrained by up to 10 people, with a knife in his hand.

The trial continues.

A report on His Excellency, Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu’s speech to the Australians

The Solution to Islamic terror? Easy! Just surrender, convert, and give them everything they want! Then there is nothing left to “agitate” for.

From Ibrahim Smythe

I had the pleasure of witnessing Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu’s speech today (15 February 2012) to the Australian National Press club.

His Excellency spoke in support of his struggle to make expressions of Islamophobia a criminal offence in Australia, as it is under Sharia in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan, and Iran.

His Excellency, the Professor, is Secretary General of the splendid body known as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Saudi Arabia is a noted defender of human-rights; with exceptions in relation to some small, unworthy categories of women,  homosexuals, Shiites, Christians, Baha’i, Hindus, heretics, democrats, non-Arabs, free-thinkers, writers, artists, atheists, Zoroastrians, witches, infidels, polytheists, Jews, non-royalty, agnostics, foreigners, blasphemers, former-Muslims and other non-Muslims.  We would do well to listen with due reverence to the lessons the Saudis can impart, if we value our way of life.

I present, below, a report of the significant themes of His Excellency’s authoritative lecture to the abusers of human rights in Australia.  Believers, of course, need no explanation of the necessity of punishing free expression of belief and disbelief, but His Excellency was not preaching to the converted in secular Australia.  It was with mind-boggling delight and wonder that I listened to his Excellency lecture Australia on human rights.

His Excellency supports True Sharia, rejects False Islam, and is a Doctrinal Opponent of Islamopbia

Questioned as to why several Australian Muslims have taken up violence in Australia in support of Islam, His Excellency confessed himself at a loss, but concluded with confidence that such people must be followers of a type of false Islam preached there.

His Excellency did not state whether Islamophobia in relation to “false Islamists” would still be permissible in Australia, under the censorship regime he demanded.  His Excellency did not have time to set out the basis for his expertise in distinguishing false Islamists from the true ones.  Certainly, that skill would allow him to put an end to the devout sectarian violence that has afflicted the Islamic world since the death of the Prophet.  Continue Reading →

Failed PM To Sign Us Up With The OIC.

Media Release from the Q Society:

Australians to be healed from ‘Islamophobia’ by head of global Islamic organisation
Sunday, February 12, 2012 – Q Society of Australia Inc.

This week Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd has invited Professor Ekmelledin Ihsanoglu[sic], the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to discuss “Transition and Change: The OIC and the Islamic World”

Events take place on February 15th and 16th at the National Press Club of Australia and at Griffith University, Brisbane. Following similar events in Europe and Washington, Mr Rudd’s visitor is here to educate and help us overcome “Islamophobia” in Australia.

The OIC, which represents 56 Islamic states, makes up the largest voting bloc of the UN.

United in their effort to limit critical discussion of the Islamic religion and sharia law, these countries refuse to sign the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights. OIC members construed the ‘Cairo Declaration’, in which human rights are subject to interpretation by Islamic clergy and sharia law. The OIC is headquartered in Saudi Arabia, a feudal monarchy renown for violation of basic human rights under strict sharia law.

The feigned concern of the OIC with discrimination against Islam and more notably views not supportive of Islam is in contrast to the violent intolerance experienced by non-Muslim minorities in many Islamic countries. Indigenous religious minorities, which are not afforded the same respect, recognition or equality demanded by the OIC for Muslim immigrants in the West.

Author and human rights activist Ayan Hirsi Ali ‘s recent article ‘The Global War on Christians in the Muslim World’ highlights “… an unrecognised battle costing thousands of lives.” With these facts in mind, there are serious questions democratic governments should be asking the OIC, before taking advice from Professor Ihsanoglu.

Q Society appeals to Mr Rudd to show courage and openly address this discrepancy and the discrimination against non-Muslims, evident in almost every OIC country.

Vilifying critics of Islam and sharia practices as ‘islamophobic’ is in fact aiding and abetting those who seek to silence the debate about the rise of Islamic sharia, both in the West and in the once secular countries of the OIC.

Kevin Rudd, our erstwhile Prime Minister and current Foreign Minister, has a bit of a reputation as a grandstander. The current view is that he’s bucking for a seat with the UN (Security Council, no less – even temporary is good to this fellow), and a part of his sleazing towards that goal is sucking up to the OIC.

He’s given a lot of money to help the less fortunate in countries other than Oz, which you’d expect as Foreign Minister. But…

Man in Australia tears up Korans and flushes them in a mosque

One thing is for sure. That mosque needs a new security camera. That is the blurriest video I have seen since Blair Witch. I think they could hire a guy to sit in the lobby and draw everyone who comes in and get a clearer picture. Makes me wonder why they did that. Could it be that the perp is a Hindu?
