Sydney protest: man charged with kicking hero police dog

A man has been charged after he allegedly assaulted two police officers and kicked hero police dog Chuck in the ribs during a violent protest in Sydney’s CBD last month.
The 26-year-old is the 12th person to be charged over violence that erupted during the September 15 demonstration of about 500 people against the anti-Islamic film Innocence of Muslims.
Police will allege the man punched an Australian Federal Police officer in the head outside the US Consulate building in Martin Place while protesting.

Christian Martinez of Sydney, Australia, knowingly, willingly and intelligently converted to the extremely strict branch of Islam known as Wahhabism.
Martinez found out first hand exactly how strict and violent Wahhabism is.
Four men, Wassim Fayad, 44, Zakaryah Raad, 21, Tolga Cifci, 21, and Cengiz Coskun, 22, were charged with administering 40 lashes to Martinez with an electrical cable.
All of the accused have plead not guilty.
South Australian man Mohammed Tasleem Tahir jailed for cutting off girlfriend’s tongue

A SOUTH Australian man who cut off of his ex-girlfriend’s tongue in a jealous rage on the Gold Coast has been jailed for 8-and-a-half years.
Mohammed Tasleem Tahir, 23, pleaded guilty in the Southport District Court to causing grievous bodily harm to his 20-year-old former partner.
Judge Katherine McGinness condemned his attack as “persistent and devastating”.
But due to his youth and lack of violent criminal history she set him parole eligibility from September next year.
Tahir admitted he followed his ex-partner from Adelaide to the Gold Coast in 2010 and confronted her in her apartment on November 13 claiming he wanted to ‘repair’ the relationship.
When she resisted he bashed her with an large, empty Bundaberg Rum bottle and used a knife to cut slits in the corners of her lips and to sever part of her tongue. He then strangled her in the bedroom and only stopped when she played dead.

- I AM so disheartened to read that an eight-year-old Muslim girl living in Australia has such a strong desire for jihad and to live under sharia law.
I wonder if she understands that her right to speak to men, or to be educated, or to live in the freedom she experiences here in Australia, would not exist under extremist Muslim laws. If she lived in certain Middle East countries and was unfortunate enough to be raped, she could be stoned to death.
What have we done, in our compassionate embrace of multiculturalism, to deserve this lack of respect for our own culture?

Retrial granted for Afghan refugee who killed his wife after complaining she was “too Australian”

AN Afghan refugee who killed his wife after complaining she had become ”too Australia” has been granted a retrial.

Soltan Ahmad Azizi was jailed for a minimum of 17 ½ years in 2010 after he strangled Marzieh Rahimi with her veil at the couple’s Hampton Park home in 2007.
The mother-of five was killed in front of the couple’s three-month-old toddler and baby, 22 months.
Azizi allegedly admitted killing his wife and even called the police afterwards, telling them, `You can handcuff me now.”
But in calling for an appeal, lawyers for Azizi argued jurors in the original trial were subject to inadmissible or prejudicial evidence.
They claimed alleged statements by Ms Rahimi about previous physical, psychological and emotional abouse by Azizi were not relevant and should have been excluded.
The trial heard Ms Rahimi had complained that her husband had been violent since the first night of their marriage and she wanted a divorce.

Islamic protest sparks violence in Sydney
Eight people are expected to be charged after violent clashes between hundreds of police and protesters erupted in Sydney’s CBD.
Six police were injured and 17 others were treated for the effects of capsicum spray on Saturday when a demonstration against an anti-Islamic film got out of hand.
Eight of the protesters were expected to be charged with a range of offences, including affray, assaulting police, resisting arrest and throwing a missile.
Police said they would also begin poring through “a significant amount of evidence” that had been gathered through the media and officers, and that anyone caught committing offences would be “vigorously pursued”.
Saturday’s angry scenes began after about 1pm (AEST), when an “unannounced and unapproved” group of people gathered at Town Hall as part of a global protest against an anti-Islamic film.
Police said the group began walking along George Street towards Martin Place, where they attempted to enter the US consulate, which is located in the MLC Centre.
It was here, according to police, that violence between officers and the growing group first broke out.

I really hope this woman goes an extra step in her thought process and realizes her life is in real danger and gets out and starts her own life. Many people have to leave their own families for all kinds of reasons. She needs to know she is probably one of them. I wish her all the best. She seems a perfectly nice human being.

Australian Senator wants Muslim immigration ban
Now this is at least, a sensible, peaceful, reasonable response to reality. It stuns me that there is only ONE person in the Western world capable of seeing the horrifyingly, blindingly, bleedingly obvious. Even Canada has done nothing to slow or stop or even suggest we should look at Islamic immigration.
