AN Australian-born Sharia law advocate allegedly used the facebook page of commercial radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O to issue a fake terrorist threat to the Sydney gay and lesbian Mardi Gras.
Ibrahim Siddiq-Conlon, a Muslim convert, faced Burwood local court in Sydney’s southwest today and dismissed his social media post as a “a moment of passion” that he “absolutely” regretted.
Mr Siddiq-Conlon was also accused of child pornography offences.
Australian Federal Police charged the self-confessed hater of democracy last month and he faced court today for the first time.
He was charged with using a carriage service to issue a hoax terrorist threat, possessing child abuse material, and using a carriage service to access child pornography.
Mr Siddiq-Conlon did not enter a plea and was released from the court on bail.
He emerged from the court saying he regretted issuing the hoax threat on the Kyle and Jackie O facebook page.
The degenerate whacko should be locked up permanently, although I would relish the opportunity to debate that Sharia bull…. with him toe-to-toe…
