Another Dystopia comes true: ‘Solving’ the inequities of math
California Is Planning to ‘De-Mathematize Math.
The spotlight is once again on the State of California and its proposed new mathematics framework for grades K-12. The proposed framework would “de-mathematize math” and encourage the use of a “trauma-informed pedagogy,” as an open letter to Governor Gavin Newsom signed by more than 900 professors of math and science from across California put it. The framework also rejects the idea of natural or innate giftedness among children and discourages allowing students to be placed into accelerated courses even if they have mastered the material covered in the course.
No doubt, this effort to level the playing field stems from a noble desire. Learning to “solve the problems that result in societal inequities” is important. But the fact is, replacing the teaching of actual math with lessons or pedagogies grounded in the work of social justice is an injustice; it’s not justice to force students of vastly different mathematical or other learning capabilities to consume the same material in the same way when we know that learning needs differ from child to child.
The article goes on like that for a while. But the key phrase is: “The framework also rejects the idea of natural or innate giftedness among children and discourages allowing students to be placed into accelerated courses even if they have mastered the material covered in the course”
This would clearly apply to children that may not be gifted, but just interested enough to really apply themselves and get good. To them, being called gifted is an insult to all the work they did. Nonetheless, there will be no reward for any who by inspiration or perspiration, manage to get ahead of the curve.
Anyone who has not read the Kurt Vonnegut Jr. story, Harrison Bergeron, which was written sometime before 1976 if I recall correctly, as that is about when I read it, is well advised to either read it or watch a low resolution version of the film, embedded below. Perhaps you might offer a comment as to its relevance.
About the Amish
In these two clips, they don’t mention how many deaths, if any, the Amish experienced due to Covid. If I remember correctly, it was none.

This is quite good. For one thing, its important to understand that a LOT of police and police forces across the Anglosphere are on side. In fact the Canadian police against these measures have told us that the reason Canada is not like Australia, is that police have flat out refused to obey orders like that, and politicians have walked back some of the worst policies to avoid the embarrassment of seeing police refuse the order.
These officers are articulate and hopefully represent the majority of US law enforcement.

This is a great presentation by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. From the perspective of this site, while it’s great that people point out what they view as hypocricy, we think its a form of controlled opposition. We see the events she raises, not as examples of a double standard, but proof of a new, single standard. One where any action which promotes the communist revolution which clearly is taking place, will not be prosecuted, and in fact be rewarded and held up as an example for us all, while any counter-revolutionary action, thoughts or speeches will be punished using one of a number of devices created during the Obama years and amplified now under what might as well be Obama’s third term.
Devices such as The Office of Countering Violent Extremism, which seeks to equate swearing an oath to defend the US constitution in the military with being a violent extremist, and therefore the same as being a Muslim radical, even as it seeks to disassociate Islamic terror with Islam itself.
Increasing number of vague laws and regulations about racism and hate speech are similar devices used to negate the Western nature of the American polity overall. And used in a similar way. Where anything that attacks white people, heterosexuality, and a host of other things which define our species, history, culture and laws are lauded and even funded, and anything which defends them are swiftly punished, if not directly by law, by use of corporate power that ends up having a similar effect as the law might have.
Even so, this presentation is very good and deserves to be seen.

This is pretty close to the end game of communism. Within a year or two, media will likely hand a sheet to police chiefs or whoever is giving a presser with what they are to say and what not to say. In this clip you can actually hear the reporters correcting the chief of police when he described a riot as a riot.
What exactly does the term, “Weasel Words” mean? Lets ask the FBI
I hear the term, “Weasel Words” thrown around these days like I heard the term, “paradigm” in the 90s, or how every sentence started with the word “so” around 2015.
Then someone sent me this video which makes it perfectly clear exactly what the term means. I would like to thank the FBI for the excellent example of it, and Ed Snowdon for the clarity on the issue.

Long time readers of this site, and more importantly, Gates of Vienna, may remember this very interesting story that both sites followed very closely in 2014 and 2015 and posted many links as the story progressed.
In summary, a building blew up that housed Islamic centres and related businesses and residences, and instead of investigating as the local PD said they would do, the feds came in and literally swept up all the evidence after inventing a lie to explain the explosion that the local gas company invited the media in to their offices to disprove.
Of course, since this story was first published entire video hosting platforms have come and gone, and we were one of the first to be Winston Smithed from Youtube a couple of years ago now. So the videos were removed.
So what we can know is, in true Orwellian fashion, investigative agencies hide evidence and invent causes.
