Breaking News Live. FBI Investigating Second Vehicle with possible Bomb Onboard Vin Lebanon TN #14

***Nothing to see here folks***

This is the story at the Daily Mail. It was blasting a spooky message

False alarm. But a guy in a bomb suit always makes for good click bait I guess.

Seems kinda out in the open to be much use as a bomb though. Wilson County Lebanon Tennessee.

UPDATE: Full of junk, no explosives so far.

Now that the FBI and maybe DHS are involved, we might never know what happened in Nashville

Long time readers of this site, and more importantly, Gates of Vienna, may remember this very interesting story that both sites followed very closely in 2014 and 2015 and posted many links as the story progressed.

In summary, a building blew up that housed Islamic centres and related businesses and residences, and instead of investigating as the local PD said they would do, the feds came in and literally swept up all the evidence after inventing a lie to explain the explosion that the local gas company invited the media in to their offices to disprove.

Of course, since this story was first published entire video hosting platforms have come and gone, and we were one of the first to be Winston Smithed from Youtube a couple of years ago now. So the videos were removed.

So what we can know is, in true Orwellian fashion, investigative agencies hide evidence and invent causes.

Here are the videos I have been able to restore so far:

Dear readers: There is lots of excellent information in the Reader’s Links and in the comments on the earlier post on the Nashville attack.

We will post items here for the rest of the evening as they come to our attention. But for those who wish to see the most updated info, please see comments in Reader’s Links.

At the moment, my guess is Iran for the attacker. We shall know when we know.

Nashville imposes curfew:

Nashville explosion: Huge blast rocks major US city – ‘Glass and steel everywhere’ (VBID)

The cause of the blast was a vehicle explosion, in what poice described as an “intentional act”. Fire officials said three people have been taken to hospital, but none of them were critically injured. The incident took place at 166 2nd Avenue North at 6.45am local time.

Don Aaron, Nashville police spokesman said: “The explosion was significant, as you can see the police department, its federal partners – the FBI and ATF – are conducting a large-scale investigation to this point.

“We do believe that the explosion was an intentional act.”

When the car first exploded, there was some confusion about what was the cause of the blast.

Most sensible explanation for Lebanese blast so far

From Yucki:

LBCI: Preliminary information from security sources “speak of 2700 tons of seized ammonium in Beirut Port exploded in course of welding small opening to prevent theft.”

Earlier reports indicated the 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate were seized in 2013 aboard Moldovan ship heading to Africa. Stored in Beirut Port after seizure. Sparks from welding ignited fireworks, which then ignited the ammonium.

Peculiar explosion in Sweden

Apparently, a city bus with a huge and full fuel tank on its roof, drove into a low tunnel.

Explosion at Queens power plant?

Transformer fire at plant, Con Ed, Queens NYC

NYT story on it:

A giant plume of smoke colored by bright blue light exploded into the night sky on Thursday night in Queens, causing people across New York City to gawk in awe as the authorities scrambled to figure out the cause.

The bizarre sight set off a frenzy on social media, where people reported power failures at La Guardia Airport. A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration said that a ground stop was ordered there around 9:30 p.m. because of the power failure, but was lifted after about 45 minutes; the airport then resumed its operations, he said.
