Gay activists betray themselves by using Swastika’s to refer to Israel.

By way of forward to this excellent article in Canada’s National Post, one of the few newspapers left that actually reports and comments on real news, I can’t help but mention that I would sincerely like to see these gay-rights activists have a pride march in Saudi-Arabia, Somalia, Gaza and the West Bank, or Iran. I would like to see that so much, I would be willing to take up a collection to fly these particular activists to one of those nations to march for gay rights. It should also be mentioned, that the Nazis also murdered homosexuals in as large numbers as they could, unless they happened to be Joseph Goebbels.

I would like to point out to these cowardly hypocrites, people who are so high on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs that they actually have a nose bleed, what a true gay rights activist looks like. From April 8th TROP web site:

Gay rights activists wave a rainbow flag in front of a
mosque in Turkey, where at least 45 homosexuals and
transgenders have been murdered in the last three years.
(There are no reports of devout Muslims killed by gays).

Actual gay-rights activists are people who march in areas for their basic human right to exist without being murdered for being homosexual, because of 7th century religious laws, invented by a man who raped children and widows. (Calling it marriage does not make it not rape. Lack of consent, makes it rape no matter what you call it)

Parade of horribles

Let Pride participants protest Israel– but on their own dime

National Post Published: Thursday, April 08, 2010

Queers Against Israeli Apartheid during a Gay Pride Parade. Queers Against Israeli Apartheid Via Facebook Queers Against Israeli Apartheid during a Gay Pride Parade.

Toronto’s gay Pride Parade is in danger of losing the nearly $200,000 it receives annually from the city because it cannot bring itself to impose any standards whatever on the groups that enter floats and demonstrations. Specifically, it cannot even bring itself to ban hateful symbols that offend community standards and may even violate the Criminal Code.

That the parade and the week-long events that surround it have become mainstream can be seen in the crowds it attracts — nearly half a million annually, including tens of thousands of families — and in the fact that it has been named the country’s top festival three times by the Canadian event industry, most recently in 2009.

What was once a ramshackle collection of flamboyant gays and lesbians marching almost unnoticed through downtown Toronto has become one of North America’s largest (and slickest) street parties — so large and slick, in fact, that corporate sponsors now line up to partner with the organizing committee. The chaps and jockstraps, feather boas and transvestite costumes have been almost overwhelmed by unremarkable, middle-class gays, lesbians and transgendered persons, plus straight supporters of all three.

However, last year, the group Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA), chose to sport tshirts with swastikas while they ambled down the street chanting “Fist by Fist, Blow by Blow, Apartheid State, Has Got to Go.”

Leaders of QuAIA insist their members’ shirts featured the Nazi symbol superimposed by a circle with a line through it — a sometimes anti-Nazi symbol. The video evidence is inconclusive; if there were circles with lines, they were fainter than the swastikas they were meant to cover, which leaves reasonable people to conclude the hateful sign of genocide was what the crowd was truly intended to see. National Post: It’s not easy being white

It’s not easy being white

Barbara Kay, National Post Published: Wednesday, April 07, 2010

Remember the old Kermit the Frog complaint, “It’s not that easy bein’ green”? It’s from a ditty about diversity, in which Kermit proceeds from self-doubt over the limitations of being green to the conclusion there’s value in all colours and nothing gained brooding over identity: “I am green and it’ll do fine…I think it’s what I want to be.”

But what if bullies had convinced everyone on Sesame Street that being green made you wicked? It would avail Kermit naught that green can be “big like an ocean, or important like a mountain” when set against greenness as the root cause of all other-coloured muppets’ grievances.

In the human world, it’s being white that’s not that easy. In Saturday’s Post Jonathan Kay recounted learning in an anti-racism workshop that whiteness is a kind of original sin, and Canada is “a white supremacist country.”

Before 9/11, white self-hatred mostly focused on whites’ well-documented historical racism against blacks. Since 9/11 it’s more about whites’ alleged but unsubstantiated anti-Muslim bias. Between demands for entitlements by self-appointed Muslim spokespeople, and uncritical Islamophilia amongst liberal elites, we’ve internalized the dictum that whites are anti-Muslim unless proven otherwise, and Muslims are victims even when proven otherwise.

“White privilege” is the villain in the recently published Ontario section of the Canadian Federation of Students’ Task Force on Racism report, denounced by Robert Fulford in Saturday’s Post for its self-serving agenda. Committed to finding anti-Muslim bigotry on Ontario’s campuses, they eschewed the pesky grind of actual “methodology.” Self-selecting Muslim students were encouraged to recite personal narratives of supposed racism, unsupported by any proof. Matt Gurney: Starve the hungry; feed the ethnically enlightened

National Post…The topic of campus racism has been much on my mind lately, ever since the latest eye-roller from Queen’s University. I’ve given Queen’s a rough time before, but I swear it’s not personal. I have nothing against the school, no grudge or axe to grind. But this is the third time in the last eighteen months that I’ve found myself writing about some politically correct insanity there.

The first was about the case of a female cabaret dancer being told she was oppressing women after appearing, dressed appropriately for the part, at a campus event. The next told the story of a young woman at an on-campus Halloween party being thrown out of the event because her feathered headdress was insulting to natives. The slutty nun holding a Pope on a dog’s leash and the priest with the enormous erection, however, were completely acceptable costumes.

The newest one takes the proverbial cake. Queen’s Alma Mater Society (AMS) last week cancelled a food-bank fundraiser that was going to include “sumo wrestler suits.” These rubber costumes turn even the slimmest, fittest wearer into a clumsy, waddling laughing stock — precisely the sort of thing that makes for good, harmless entertainment at fundraisers. Not so fast, says the AMS. Those suits are racist! Continue Reading →

Anti-Islam decals improperly banned at Camp Lejeune, judge rules

From NewsOK.com

Jesse Nieto’s stickers included one that said “ISLAM (equals) TERRORISM” and another with a threat to defecate on the Quran. He also had a decal to commemorate the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, in which 17 shipmates died including Nieto’s youngest son.

“His vehicle is a way to express his mourning and anger,” said Nieto’s attorney, Robert Muise. Nieto has been driving a different vehicle to his on-base job since the summer of 2008, but Muise said he plans to return with his decals next week. He has worked at Lejeune since 1994 and previously served 25 years in the Marine Corps, including two combat tours as an infantryman in Vietnam.

U.S. District Judge Malcolm J. Howard said in a ruling posted Wednesday that a Lejeune regulation targeting inflammatory speech on base was improperly applied to Nieto’s decals and not to pro-Islamic messages that may be just as incendiary. Howard concluded that the application of the rule violated Nieto’s free speech.

“While military officials are entitled to great deference in restricting speech to further the military’s needs, they may not do so in a manner that discriminates against a particular point of view,” Howard wrote in his decision. Continue Reading →

Pointing out hate speech is now hate speech, while hate speech itself, is not.

Mark Steyn has said it many times and many ways, most notably perhaps in his excellent book, America Alone. Now, pointing out hate speech is the real crime while the actual hate speech being pointed at goes unchallenged, especially if it is from a protected group or dare I say it, if it is against Jewish people, when sufficiently disguised under the totem of criticism of the state of Israel.

Youtube has now suspended access to me to my account because of two videos, both of which merely point out the hate speech of others, and while one one of them is still actually playing on youtube in the original language, and intent.

To be more clear, one of the videos which caused the suspension of access, was a Dutch language Rap video about killing Jews and so on. That video remains on youtube with no issues. However when I subtitled it in English so people could be aware of this, it caused a strike on my account.

I also uploaded a fairly innocuous ‘plug and play’ video which says awful things about Muslims, then it replaces the word ‘Muslim’ with the word ‘unbeliever’ and shows what chapter and verse from the Koran the statement is from. A fairly worthy rhetorical device and one which I think aids perspective.

This video has been up for roughly a week at this point. And today, my youtube access was suspended for two weeks for the crime of hate speech.

Here is warning #1:

So you see, I was specifically cited for hate speech. Below, is the actual video in question.

is koran hate speech? from Vlad Tepes on Vimeo.

Now, Warning #2 which is what I saw after I clicked ‘I acknowledge.’

Now, the Dutch language rap song subtitled in English. Please keep in mind, the original one without subtitles is still live and playing on youtube along with, presumably, many other brutal and heartfelt anti Jewish videos of various kinds. Now to be clear, I am not accusing youtube of antisemitism. I firmly believe that is not the case. But the problem with any laws that prosecute thought and speech crimes, inevitably must become selectively enforced and in nearly all cases, enforced to the advantage of the very groups the laws where created to protect the public from.

Fantastic article by George Jonas on Coulter in Canada

We at Vlad watched with interest and some degree of alarm when Ann Coulter’s speech was thugged out a few nights ago by a number of university kids stoned out of their gourd on the most dangerous and most Canadian of drugs, Sanctimony.

Ann Coulter’s profile of course shot through the roof. Much like when the satire film, ‘Life Of Brian’ first appeared in theatres and was met by protests from priests and rabbi’s alike, guaranteeing it a top grossing spot for that years movies. So yeay for Ann. However the real issues seem to have been missed by most of the media. Issues of whether or not mob rule is the way to let things get decided even if you agree with that particular mob. That sort of jurisprudence seldom ends well.  Below, a rather excellent article by George Jonas of the National Post and for contrast, below that Ill put some of the worst commentary on this issue I could have imagined. The sad part is, I doubt it took FOX news long to find someone with her views to claim to represent all of Canada.

George Jonas: Censorship and satire

Posted: March 27, 2010, 10:00 AM by NP Editor

The Roman poet Juvenal remarked that it’s hard not to write satire. Things have gone downhill since then. By now it’s hard not to write slapstick comedy.

Take this week, which began with a Canadian academic haughtily reminding a visiting American firebrand of the respect and civility that’s the hallmark of public discourse in this country,

“There is a strong tradition in Canada … of restraint, respect and consideration,” wrote University of Ottawa provost François Houle to enfant terrible Ann Coulter, urging her “to respect that Canadian tradition while on our campus.”

This was on Monday. On Tuesday, a howling mob demonstrated Canada’s commitment to restraint and respect by blocking Coulter (and those who came to hear her) from entering a lecture hall on campus.

The only group exhibiting Canadian-style restraint was the police. They cast a calm eye on the pandemonium, took a balanced view and chose no sides between people trying to exercise their rights and bullies trying to prevent them. Resisting any temptation to enforce the law, Ottawa’s finest exemplified Canada’s definition of moral leadership by observing neutrality between lawful and lawless.

We’re selling our hotel, say Christian couple in row with Muslim guest

By Jonathan Petre The Daily Mail UK

Last updated at 10:00 PM on 27th March 2010

The two Christian hoteliers cleared last year of insulting a Muslim guest are being forced to sell up because their business has collapsed.

Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang are putting their nine-bedroom hotel up for auction in May because they can no longer pay the mortgage.

Despite donations sent to them by Christian supporters from around the world, they still have debts of well over £400,000.

Mrs Vogelenzang, 54, said last night it was ‘devastating’ that they could be left with nothing as the result of a case that should never have come to court. Continue Reading →

UN rights body narrowly passes Islamophobia resolution

GLOBALNEWS… GENEVA – The UN Human Rights Council on Thursday narrowly passed a resolution condemning Islamophobic behaviour, including Switzerland’s minaret building ban, despite some states’ major reservations.

The resolution, which was criticized by the United States as “an instrument of division”, “strongly condemns . . . the ban on the construction of minarets of mosques and other recent discriminatory measures.”

In a November referendum Swiss citizens voted to ban the construction of new minarets, a move that drew criticisms worldwide.

Such measures “are manifestations of Islamophobia that stand in sharp contradiction to international human rights obligations concerning freedoms of religions,” said the resolution.

Such acts would “fuel discrimination, extremism and misperception leading to polarization and fragmentation with dangerous unintended and unforeseen consequences,” it charged.

Some 20 countries voted in favour of the resolution entitled “combating defamation of religions”, 17 voted against and eight abstained.

The resolution also “expresses deep concern . . . that Islam is frequently and wrongly associated with human rights violations and terrorism.” Continue Reading →

Globovision TV Venezuela arrested for remarks critical of Hugo Chavez

Thugs win 1 to 0. Freedom of speech takes a giant loss in Ottawa

I am not a fan of Ann Coulter. I am absolutely indifferent to her speaking in Ottawa. But I find this new police policy of:

Use the power of the state, not to enforce the laws of the land and guarantee the rights of the individual as set out in our constitutions, but to reduce any possibility of violence by submission to demands of the most violent group, especially if that group is leftist, or Muslim…

…to be absolutely disgusting. Canada now has a genuine crisis of freedom of speech. For those who do not like Coulter, they should feel free to either debate her or ignore her. As for her suggestion that a Muslim girl, drunk on her own moral superiority, should take a camel, I would like the world to know, that if a Saudi told me to take a Moose I would not feel “stabbed in my heart” and even if Canadians where blowing up aircraft at every opportunity and attempting to destroy western civilization through terror mostly aimed at public transportation.

Even so, the real villain here is the University of Ottawa for fostering an atmosphere conducive to thuggery in favour of leftism and Islamist causes, not to mention a probable organizational element by the MSU if the Kifeyes in the photos are any indicator.

According to a friend who was there, opponents of Coulter pulled the fire alarm, blocked entrances, blocked the lobby, and finally the police told organizers that it was not safe for Ann to be there.

Much of this was taken from the IFPS.ORG site. Thanks to them and all the other tipsters who send info to me.

University of Ottawa Disgraces Itself in Eyes of the World – Ann Coulter Cancelled by Vandals

Ottawa Sun – Security concerns cancel Ann Coulter’s University of Ottawa talk – vandalism by our coddled barbarians

What a disgrace to Canada but what can you expect from a University that promotes Israeli Apartheid Week.
…

“anti-racist” creeps rushed door threw table volunteers had to flee“.

Funny how it’s always the “anti-racists” who are the Nazis, odd they never turned up to protest the University of Ottawa’s Whack-A-Jew-Week festivities.
…
Event organizers to sue University of Ottawa – …rumoured the people who organized Israeli Apartheid Week are the Nazi vandals

From Ottawa Sun:

Organizers pulled the plug on a speaking engagement by U.S. Conservative commentator Ann Coulter at the University of Ottawa Tuesday evening, citing security concerns.

Police advised organizers to cancel after students of all political stripes descended upon the university to hear the talk — some of them lining up for more than two hours in the rain.

Others showed up to protest Coulter’s presence. The self-described polemicist is known for her inflammatory comments. She recently said Muslims shouldn’t be allowed to travel in airplanes and should use flying carpets instead.

The crowd could be heard chanting ‘We want Ann’ after it was announced the event was cancelled at 8:15 — a half-hour after the talk was due to begin.

Organizers painted the cancellation as University of Ottawa provost Francois Houle getting his wish.

Houle had earlier sent Coulter a letter suggesting she brush up on the limits of free speech in Canada, adding that promoting hatred could lead to criminal charges. Coulter reacted angrily to the letter, saying Houle had threatened her with criminal charges.

Would-be attendees who hadn’t registered for the event were turned away at the door. More than 2,000 people tried to get into the event — several times the capacity of the venue.

The Republican firebrand was at the university for the second stop of her Canadian speaking tour to dish on political correctness, media bias and freedom of speech.

The university’s student federation vehemently opposed Coulter’s appearance, banning posters advertising the talk from the University Centre building, while the school’s provost warned her of Canada’s tradition of “restraint, respect and consideration,” sparking an angry backlash from Coulter herself.

The event followed her Monday visit to London, Ont. where little of her speech touched on Canadian issues. Instead, she verbally attacked gay rights activists, the mainstream media and the Barack Obama administration.

From The Ottawa Citizen:

OTTAWA — Concerns for “public safety” forced the cancellation of American conservative commentator Ann Coulter’s speaking engagement at the University of Ottawa Tuesday night.

Several hundred people, including students from both Carleton and the University of Ottawa, showed up prior to Coulter’s speech. The loudest and most vociferous were protesting her presence, drowning out a smaller group of pro-Coulter demonstrators.

Ottawa police had more than nine squad cars at the scene, at the university’s Marion Hall. But the event was cancelled about 8:15 p.m. — before Coulter had a chance to speak.

“It’s a public safety issue,” said Sgt. Dan Beauchamp.

Coulter stirred controversy even before she arrived in Ottawa. The university’s student federation objected to her even appearing on campus, going so far as to ban posters advertising her speaking engagement. The University of Ottawa provost, François Houle, wrote a letter to the American author warning her against violating Canada’s hate-speech laws.

Coulter replied, suggesting Houle was showing “hatred” toward conservatives.

The exchange no doubt contributed to the large turn out for the event. By some estimates, there were more than 200 people outside Marion Hall.

“No more racists on our campus,’’ shouted the anti-Coulter crowd.

“No more commies on our campus,” shouted the pro-Coulter group.

In the end, of course, nobody got to hear what the woman had to say.

MP quizzed by police after saying ‘wearing burkha was like having paper bag over your head’

MAILONLINE… An MP was investigated by police for inciting racial hatred over controversial burkha comments following complaints from a human rights association.

Conservative MP Philip Hollobone said wearing a burkha was the religious equivalent of ‘going round with a paper bag over your head’.

During a parliamentary debate last month he urged the House of Commons to ‘seriously consider’ banning the garment.

Now it has emerged police received a complaint about the Kettering MP a few days after his comments from the Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council (NREC).

Officers rang Mr Hollobone to say a complaint had been made but the Crown Prosecution dropped the case a few days later as there were no grounds for prosecution.

Debates in Westminster are protected by parliamentary privilege but Mr Hollobone said the complaint could have related to comments made inside or outside the Commons.

He blasted the ‘hypocritical and ‘patronising’ NREC today for championing freedom of speech while attempting to have him prosecuted.

Last month the organisation sent the outspoken MP a letter criticising his stance on Muslim women who chose to wear the burkha in public.

Mr Hollobone said: ‘It’s complete hypocrisy. They talk on one hand about freedom of speech and expression and then without even making contact try to get me prosecuted.

‘In this country you should be able to have a debate about controversial subjects without the threat of police action. That’s how democracy works. Continue Reading →
