Eric Allen Bell tells the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro why he no longer supports their mega-mosque

The nearly completed mega-mosque of Murfreesboro

By Eric Allen Bell

Here is a slightly edited version of a letter Eric Allen Bell wrote to Abdou Kattih, Vice President of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, explaining why he no longer supports the mega-mosque there. The deed to the property for the mega-mosque is in Kattih’s name, and he appears to have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood-linked North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). Bell exposed his Muslim Brotherhood ties and designs on the community here.

Mr. Kattih -I wanted to contact you personally, for the record, and to make a few things clear. First, I want you to know that I strongly object to any and all hate speech that is directed at Muslims or any other group. I continue to be saddened when I think of the vandalism that your organization has endured, the threats and the mistreatment and bullying of Muslim children in the schools here.

Unlike some of the people who oppose you, I am able to separate in my mind, Islam from Muslims. A Muslim is a deeply indoctrinated human being who may or may not pose a threat to Liberty. Islam, on the other hand, is the antithesis of Liberty.

You see, my heart has not changed. I am not full of hate. I advocated for you and for the ICM because I believed that the backlash against your mega mosque was only based on religious intolerance and disrespect for civil rights. I still think that some of it is, and I find that regrettable. Some of the people who oppose you truly are bigots, and as an American, they embarass me.

Another reason not to vote for a muslim

“America will never tap into educational innovation and ingenuity without looking at the model that we have in our Madrassas, in our schools where innovation is encouraged. Where the foundation is the Koran,” Rep. Andre Carson (D-Indiana) said at the ICNA-MAS convention at the end of May.

U.S. President Barack Obama has invited Egypt’s newly elected Islamist president, Mohammed Morsi, to visit the United States in September, an Egyptian official said on Sunday, reflecting the new ties Washington is cultivating with the region’s Islamists.

“President Obama extended an invitation to President Morsi to visit the United States when he attends the UN General Assembly in September,” Egyptian aide, Yasser Ali, said after Morsi met U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns.

Burns did not mention the invitation at a news conference earlier.

Washington, long wary of Islamists and an ally of ousted President Hosni Mubarak, shifted policy last year to open formal contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood, the group behind Morsi’s win. Morsi formally resigned from the group when he won the presidency.

Ruling from Murfreesboro Chancery Court Stops Mosque Opening

The Iconoclast:

This morning, Rutherford County Court Chancellor Robert E. Corlew, III issued a response to the Writ of Mandamus filed by Plaintiffs on June 6th and heard on June 13th.    Those legal actions were triggered by Corlew’s June 1st ruling that inadequate notice was provided the County’s citizens before the hearing of May 24, 2010 of the Regional Planning Commission approved the mega-mosque  for the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro (ICM). The June 1st ruling by Chancellor Corlew followed hearings on this issue in April 2012.  Effectively, the ruling today prevented the County from issuing a certificate of occupancy for the first phase of the expanded  ICM of over 12,500 square feet until all appeals by the plaintiffs under the Tennessee Open Meetings Act are concluded.  That may well prevent the new Mosque located at 2700 Veals Road from being opened  at this time prior to  the onset of the Islamic religious period of Ramadan that begins on July 20th.  Chancellor Corlew had directed the County to re-open hearings on the Mosque Approval based on notifications that met the standards of the Open Meetings Act.

LONDON: Al-Qaeda is plotting a terrorist attack on a US airliner, Britain’s Sunday Times newspaper reported, citing intelligence sources.

The broadsheet said Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) had recruited  a Norwegian Muslim convert and given him terrorist training in Yemen, and that  the group were believed to have selected a US passenger jet as a target.

“The Norwegian recruit goes under the Islamic name of Muslim Abu  Abdurrahman,” the newspaper said.

The rift between the state and its enforcement branches, and the people widen.

I actually think this is an important story. This is epidemic in Ottawa as well, where the municipal government frequently breaks both the spirit and the letter of it’s own laws in order to raise revenues. I expect better from the US and doubly so from Texas. This woman’s real crime? Making it harder for a police officer to reach his quota of speed tickets, itself a thing which should be illegal. This is an actual attack on democracy. It has more to do with democracy in fact, than the mere act of voting for stuff.

Article Here:

Where angels fear to tread. U.S. politics.

I really do try and avoid certain matters of US internal politics unless it crosses the threshold of irrational leftism or Islam and its incursion and infiltration of the west.

Well frankly, under that criteria, Obama can’t send his laundry out at this stage without being within my areas of interest, given the Ikhwan near total infiltration and effective influence ops on the executive branch.

Even so, I did want to avoid this issue, although it could be said to be within the prevue of irrational leftism. The bigger reason I want to avoid it, is I do not know enough about it to have any kind of opinion anyone should listen to, or even know enough about it to know what to post on the issue. I do think some kind of federal health care plan is good for business. I know for a fact that Canada, specifically Ontario, won contracts for major corporations like Toyota to build plants here as opposed to the US for the simple reason that Toyota could pay employees more in Ontario and it would still cost less as they would’t have to cover the health-care costs of those same employees. So it is a hell of an advantage when dealing with business at that scale. Beyond that, I would rather say nothing.

Even so, here are a couple of videos with SUN TV’s take on it.  Also, OxAO posted this link which also seems to shed some light on the facts behind this decision. The article is quite good. Please do give it a click.

I hope this information proves valuable.

And while I am riding roughshod over my own rules, one on contempt of congress by Holder. This has John Robson’s analysis. Prof. Robson is someone I have had the privilege of hearing speak live on constitutional law and was lucid on the issue.  He has a video of his analysis of Obama Care. His is an opinion I would accept as likely worthwhile.

And on Holder:

Raw footage of the Dearborn welcome.

I do think this should be known as the ‘Dearborn Welcome’. Whenever a group of peaceful dissenters arrive somewhere and groups of mustards start throwing bottles, stones and eggs etc. at them. The Dearborn Welcome. I suspect it will catch on.

I must say I do like the pigs head. I wish he had a wheel of Brie on another stick in his other hand though.

Changes: Pastor Terry Sartain said he was upset by the new rulesChanges: Pastor Terry Sartain said he was upset by the new rules

Volunteer chaplains in North Carolina’s Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have been told not to use Jesus’ name in prayers at public events held on government property.

Pastor Terry Sartain of Horizon Christian Fellowship told FOX News Radio he was informed of the change by his superior major just before he was about to give a invocation at a promotion ceremony.

‘I was told chaplains can no longer invoke the name of Jesus on government property,’ Mr Sartain said.

‘[He said] if I could refrain from that during the invocation he would appreciate that.’

Mr Sartain said he was upset by the new rules.

‘I’m very sad about it,’ he continued.

‘I’m a pastor and Jesus is the only thing I have to offer to bless people — his life and his person.’

He said that he had used the name of Jesus in the past at police events and not had run into any barriers then.

Politicians, the media, and Muslim organizations assure us that Muslims have no desire to establish Sharia in America. For whatever reason, some Muslims didn’t get the memo.
