The Bias of Facebook and social Media

A few days ago, I posted a sort of ‘after-burner’ at the end of one of my posts about a test of anti-Israel bias and even antisemitism on FB and mentioned the video had been removed from YT.

There was some confusion. Many people posted the video we all, including me, assumed it was.

This is the story to which I was referring. Please download it again in case YT decides to also remove this evidence.

During the New Year the house was attacked by youths who shouted “Jewish cancer” and “free Palestine”.

An original translation by SIMONXML

From this Dutch News site:

For most of us 2016 got off to a good start but for some Amsterdam Jews New Year was a lot less enjoyable. Their home was attacked by youths who kicked the windows and doors and shouted “free Palestine”. The house was badly damaged as shown in this photo posted by one of the occupants on Facebook:

The occupant stated on Facebook that they intend to report the frightening incident. Anti-Semitic incidents such as these are becoming more common in the Netherlands. Figures from the Centre for Information and Documentation on Israel (CIDI) records that reports of anti-Semitism are showing a strong upward trend. In 2014 the number of incidents of physical violence doubled compared to 2013 and the number of incidents of verbal abuse on the street increased by 90 percent. Threats were also more common.

The fact that the anti-Semitic attackers during the New Year used both the slogan “Jewish cancer” and “free Palestine” proves that anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli views are closely intertwined. In the words of the CIDI:

“The offenders seem to see the actions of Israel as an excuse for expressing the anti-Semitic feelings that they already have.”

It is to be hoped that the perpetrators responsible are caught and brought to justice quickly. Only through firm action can such incidents be halted.

The cattleized West, and the first line of defense

1. The bovine-French, panic at mass mourning movement and show of sanctimony

(The most important thing you can do when people you don’t know are murdered by muslims in an act designed to promote the primacy of islam, is show your moral superiority to people who would like to take meaningful action by demonstrating grief.

Not for the dead, but for the temporary damage to the illusion of multicultural socialist utopia. The French have shown they are bronze medal winners after the Soviet Union and the Communist Chinese in that. Just imagine if the whole population of France had not been utterly emasculated by socialism. This attack could have been stopped by a couple of armed men who actually believed in defending themselves. Instead, all they have is what we see today. People tripping over themselves in self sacrifice, trying to tell the people who  want them dead or enslaved how there will be no ‘backlash’ instead of at the very very least, going en masse to the mosques and screaming: “stop the hate”.

Instead, they will save that slogan for Marine Le Pen. The one politician who dares suggest that defending ones rights, liberties and even your lives. And thanks to a world governed by socialist identity politics, it will only be even slightly tolerated coming from a woman. Cause if a man dared say these things he would have to live under 24 hour multiple guards and move locations every night, and that would be from the socialists every bit as much as from the muslims)

Here they are again, running from a noise while mourning

2. In this video, a small group of people who wanted to actually deal with the problem of very religious muslims who attack their people and blow up their stuff, gave an opportunity to a thousand emasculated Frenchmen to show moral superiority to those who suggest we fight back against the muslims, that its better to just look superior by not fighting back and even better, to really look super extra morally superior by shouting down and maybe even attacking a little, your own people who want to fight the actual ideology that causes all the attacks all the time.

3. Britain on terror alert: Special forces on the streets of London as experts warn ISIS is using the PlayStation 4 network to recruit and plan attacks because it’s ‘more secure than WhatsApp’

ISIS is using the PlayStation 4 network to recruit and plan attacks because it’s ‘more secure than WhatsApp’, intelligence experts warn, as special forces are deployed on the streets of London with Britain on terror alert.

The move is the biggest security response since the 2005 London bombings and comes after the sickening attacks in Paris on Friday night – the deadliest in Europe since the Madrid bombings in 2004 – that left at least 132 people dead.

In Belgium, which appears to be at the heart of the terror plot, officials believe that terrorists are using consoles to communicate.

Belgian Minister of Home Affairs Jan Jambon said intelligence agencies have discovered evidence of jihadis using the games consoles to communicate with a special, hidden recruitment channel.

He told HNL.be: ’Playstation 4 is even more difficult to monitor than WhatsApp.’

Meanwhile, special forces have been deployed to some of the capital’s landmarks and busiest spots in the aftermath of the Paris atrocities.

Thank you M., Wrath of Khan, Johnny U., Kathy, CB Sashenka, and many, many more who  are sending in invaluable links and comments. But this is a short post as selfishly, I m going to take the bandwidth to rant.

Over the past couple of years we, Oz-Rita, Nash Montana, Gates of vienna and a huge group of volunteers have translated and subtitled hundreds and over the time I have been involved, a few thousand videos. I have, as long time readers will know, lost a few channels well populated with important videos and much hard work. Sometimes for acceptable reasons like commercial copyright and I have little to no argument with that.

But other times for reasons which define the whole problem.

I have lost one channel and been banned from the service because we translated from French and Arabic an Islamic State video threatening and warning France about exactly what happened there on the 13th.

So…

What we have is, a culture that feels the way of dealing with an ideology of grotesque, horror, pornographic in its violence and sick with blood and suffering, is to ban and delete the warnings they issue to us while going to their beachheads and telling them that they should have no fear. That under no circumstances should they worry about a ‘backlash’. But for sure, if you want to maintain the illusion of a socialist multicultural utopia the first thing you really must do, is ban the people who translate and subtitles the videos the enemy makes which explains what they are going to do, and how, and even occasionally more or less when, and most importantly, (and I cannot stress this enough), why.

The various internet services and governments and so on do it for a variety of reasons. But mostly its to protect the illusion that the policies which have infected free and prosperous people since WW2 and destroyed our very immune system of the culture, like AIDS to the individual, are intact and effective at protecting the social body without anyone actually protecting the social body at all.

It takes a serious assault on reason before something as primitive and ineffective as Islam can come to our countries and wreak the kind of havoc that a healthy society would have laughed off as they would have beaten it before it could even demand that schools all serve halal or no one should draw mohamed and be taken seriously by anyone.

The Jews of course will face the consequences disproportionately as they always do. Not because they are the canaries in the coal mines but because they are the first line of defense of preserving the illusion of a socialist state. Not that leftist Jews have played no role in creating and maintaining that illusion, the Jews have never been viewed as the ‘John Waynes’ of any society save a few short years when it was OK to view and portray Jews and Israelis as defenders of liberty when Moshe Dayan was leading the Israelis to victory agains the same enemy we face today. The leftist Jewish people certainly have been part of this emasculation and move to socialism. But the price for that will be theirs to pay in spades. It already is.

Today, the media talks about people who suppress their anger and show moral outrage at those who want to actually do something about the problem the way they used to about genuine acts of bravery by people who fought an enemy bent on destroying us and our way of life. No submitting to, and protecting an enemy from the tiny fragment of your own population who want to do something is the new war hero.

Earlier today, Chris Jones posted the following worthy comment:

In both France and Israel today Jews are best advised to keep a loaded 9mm pistol in their hand at all times, and be ready to assume full combat stance at the first sign of anyone who might even possibly be a Muslim. “Keep on walking, friend…nice and easy like…”

Of course its good advice although I think it should not be limited to Jewish people. All free people should have the right to bear arms. It is in fact, the only thing that makes them free people. The moment you can’t do that your freedom to say, draw and eat what you like can be irrevocably withdrawn with no notice and no vote. But it also got me thinking on the reasons for a nation to disarm the public. It is exactly because it is part of the illusion of a socialist utopia. When a large group of Jews are murdered for being Jews by Muslims who do it because Islam tells them this must happen and as part of a plan for Islamic manifest destiny, then the most important thing is to sacrifice those jews to the illusion that this is not actually happening. The muslims must be seen as victims. The deaths of the Jewish bystanders must be reduced to “a few random folks at a deli” just as Obama and his ilk will reduce the attack in Paris on the 13th to ‘a few folks at a concert’ or, ‘a few folks at a sports event’ any minute now if it appears to interfere with his programs to stop changes in the weather.

The Jews will get it disproportionately as they will be the first sacrificed on the altar of the illusion of socialist Utopia. Not by governments that hate Jews. The French, the Danish, the Germans, the British do not hate the Jews. If anything they have a great relationship with that community in many ways. But these governments are so determined to appear that they can protect the Jews from the millions of muslims they allow in to their countries and support on massive and unsustainable amounts of social services, and who at their core, hate the West, hate freedoms, hate our cultures and everything about us but above all hate the Jews, that our governments will sacrifice the Jews not out of hate for them but a determination to appear that their policies of political correctness, cultural Marxism, multiculturalism, the emasculation of the population and assumption of all powers is working.

Many people point out that in Israel, Jews can get a weapon, protect themselves and this turns out to be effective. This is likely because in Israel, Jews are not viewed as Jews, but as people. Which is the reason the state of Israel exist at all.

The nightclub that was attacked in Paris was Jewish owned, and previously threatened

Last night while watching the islamic terror attack against the ‘unbelievers’ etc. unfold in Paris, one had to wonder where the Jewish target was, as typically when muslims attack, they hit a free speech target as well as a Jewish target as they did with Charlie Hebdo, Denmark etc. It turns out they did.

A couple of other sites reported on this today but thanks to Oz-Rita we have translated and subtitled the 2008 video muslims made threatening the club which is Jewish owned and they believe, holds fund raisers for the IDF and Israeli border security.

Here are reports from Gateway Pundit, and times of Israel link within the Gateway Pundit one.

Thank you Oz-Rita for the translation and the find. Also Oz-Rita has an article to the BDS connection to the attack here.

Belgian police have concluded an investigation into a vicious anti-Semitic assault at a cafe in Brussels, in which a European Union official physically attacked a female co-worker, while verbally abusing her as a “dirty Jewess.”

The assault, in full view of other restaurant patrons, occurred on the patio of the “Italiano” cafe near European Union headquarters in the city, Haaretz reports.

A 50-year old Italian woman – a department head at the European Council – saw a man at the cafe holding a metal plaque engraved with “Mussolini” and praising the World War II-era Italian fascist leader.

3. German politician: Israel’s security fence is worse than communist Berlin Wall

woman

BERLIN — Israeli organizations slammed Uwe Kekeritz, a German Green Party MP, on Thursday for claiming that Israel’s security fence and border system to stop Palestinian terrorism is worse than the Berlin Wall.

In comparison with Israel’s security borders, “the Berlin Wall is a toy” said the Bavarian politician in a nearly four minute video posted on YouTube in August. He spoke at a reportedly anti-Israel June event sponsored by the German Protestant Church.

Efraim Zuroff, the chief Nazi hunter of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the director of its Jerusalem office, told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday, “It is obvious that Green MP Uwe Kekeritz learned nothing about the larger picture about Middle East politics and history during his visit to Israel.”

This Iranian regime video was released via the JAM agency, the IRI’s state extra-national information service for Internet etc. With thanks to Shabnam for her help in translating the Farsi, we can bring you the details, although the message is pretty obvious for anyone who has ever seen Jerusalem from any angle. The arial shot near the end is especially foreboding perhaps.

Jihadism : A Warning from Malek Boutih, French Member of Parliament, for France.

Malek Boutih (April 29 in Paris) denounces the development of a new kind of anti-semitism

INFO LE FIGARO – In a report just submitted to Prime Minister Manuel Valls that Le Figaro has obtained, French Socialist Party (PS) deputy Boutih Malek describes “frustrated youth, ready to lose it.”  He is concerned that the Islamist rift in France is turning into a mass phenomenon.

“Radical Generation”: the title of the report that Malek Boutih, PS deputy of Essonne (French department in region of Île-de-France) just submitted to the Prime Minister, and that Le Figaro has obtained, reflects its content well.  By the third line, he approaches his subject: “The analysis and prevention of radicalization and especially jihadism.”  This is a political reading that the former president of SOS-Racism put together after the January attacks.  The report is not biased, and deals primarily with the Islamist breakaway of French youth, given that nearly 65% of individuals involved in jihadist networks are under 25 years old. The deputy ensures that his investigation confirms his premise: “The success of jihadist recruiters with the youth is based more on an adherence to an incoming political policy in tune with their international concerns and rejection of Western democratic society, than on a fundamentalist religious doctrine.”  This is a result of: “Many young people are turning away from our model of society.”

A Generation “On the Brink of Breaking Apart”

Globalization, September 11th, the war in Iraq, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict left a mark on the young generation and shaped its world view, Malek Boutih notes.  But beyond these events, a new marker – “the development of a new kind of anti-Semitism” – is particularly worrisome.  “In the French districts, the ‘double standard’ between Jews who would be included and protected, and Muslims, who, on the other hand, are stigmatized and socially marginalized, met with a wide response, writes the deputy.  The old pervasive prejudices about Jews pulling the strings in world finance and media, are back.  Remarkably, these prejudices are very widespread among young people today, something that would have been unthinkable 20 years ago.”

Discarding Democratic Values

“Society is perceived to be fully closed, one which generates a lot of frustration,” Malek Boutih claims, a society that speaks of “frustrated youth, ready to lose it.”  He goes further: “The set of values and the social order that barely hold together our Western democratic societies, do not provide a broad enough and secure framework for people to become anchored and attached to it (…).  The notion of Republic is incomprehensible, diluted in liberalism and modernity, and the feeling of belonging to a national community is very weak.  Now some of the youth discard these overly ‘soft’ values and seek to differentiate themselves from others.”

Jihad, A Global “Solution”

Looking particularly at the increasing number of French youth leaving for Syria, the report’s author believes that “Islamist radicalism is on the rise within our society,” comparing it to the historic level of the extreme right. However, “faced with other radical offers targeting the youth, jihadism is ahead of the curve in both its political and theoretical implications, says the deputy.  For a young man or a young woman hungry for action, jihad is the obvious way.  It is not simply to satiate murderous urges or war cravings.  The theoretical dimension of jihad is the most complete in its rejection of democracy, in designating those officials to be eliminated, and finally in the recognition of an alternative model.  In the depths of the traditional political forces’ ideological offer, jihad offers explanations and a global solution.”  The irrefutable conclusion: “Jihadism is the radicalism that prevails today in the anti-democratic offensive.”

A Mass Phenomenon?

The reports received by the hotline meant for the families or authorities of lost youth searching for direction, reveal the diversification of individuals ready to plunge into extremism.  But Malek Boutih goes even further: “The scale of the phenomenon and its penetration into all circles, with the radicalization of young students, and girls in particular, indicate the possible switch to a mass phenomenon.”  “If the first wave of jihadists consists mainly of vulnerable easier-to-recruit individuals, recruiters are now targeting more stable and less detectable types, and it is likely that this phenomenon will grow,” he adds.

A Structured Network

“The Islamists have established a human social network where everyone plays a role in the expression of their ideology,” notes the deputy.  Their “hold on us” developed from certain French districts.  Even though most young people are not tempted by the experience, “it is still necessary to pay attention to the contagious nature of this experience between peers, and to youth identifying with radicalized peers, through which a radical fringe can influence an entire generation,” Malek Boutih believes.  At the end of his report, the author presents a series of proposals that go through the school, culture, and families.  Along with the need to strongly reaffirm the republican credo.

Antisemitism in Europe links

There are so many reports now of antisemitism in Europe, the overwhelming majority of which are Islamic, that it probably needs its own page.

A few weeks ago some drunken people got into a street brawl with two Jewish people on the streets of London where the two men sough refuge in a synagogue and a well publicized video surfaced where the drunken revelers somewhat appeared to be making what looked like an antisemitic attack against the structure and people within. Of course that was media spin. It was a street drunken brawl that was brought to the Jewish study hall by the two men. More than that I do not know at this time. But it did indicate at the time that the media is so desperate for examples of non-Islamic antisemitism, seemingly to somehow mitigate the evil of it, that they will create it for indigenous Britons when it is not there.

Not to say it never is, but it is not of a proportion that would cause any concern was it not for the staggering amount of antisemitism in words, deeds, violent acts and religious teachings of the muslims who are expanding the influence of that doctrine in Europe.

2. Holland’s chief rabbi: Being called a dirty Jew is normal these days

(Video at link is interesting. He makes the argument that the best way to beat antisemitism is to exist as a Jew. Others would say you are just making it easier to identify the targets)

Addressing a new campaign against anti-Semitism which calls on European gentiles to publicly wear Jewish symbols in solidarity with their Jewish neighbors, Holland’s chief rabbi chose to share his views on the dramatic rise of anti-Jewish hatred he has witnessed.

“Forty years ago when I came to Holland, it never, ever happened that someone would call me in the street a dirty Jew or curse me because I’m Jewish, visibly Jewish. Today it’s normal,” said Rabbi Benjamin Jacobs, the leader of Holland’s substantial Jewish population, numbering 30,000.

3. The British political party, UKIP, which now looks set to make serious gains in the upcoming UK elections now faces that old proverb, ‘The wind blows harder the closer you get to the top of the mountain’ (TV show Daredevil) is now being accused of antisemitism.

Here is an article that does some analysis on which British parties are the most and least antisemetic.

(The comments correct some of the points in the article and some of the comments address very important points of reasoning in the article and should be noted. But I don’t know if they substantially change the scoring)

Thank you Yucki, GoV. and all. Readers: Please feel free to add links to this post of examples of contemporary (say, within the last week or so) acts of European Antisemitism from whatever group in the comments.

UPDATE:

Austria: Bosnian Football fans chant “Kill the Jews”

Original translation excerpt by Carpe Diem with much thanks!

From this Austrian News site:

Heute.at reports [1]:

Last Tuesday, [March 31 2015] up to 20,000 Bosnians, many of them living in Austria for years, have watched the friendly match between the national football teams of Austria and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Vienna. Prior to the game, many Bosnian fans gathered at the Stephan’s Square (Stephansplatz) in the city centre of Austria’s capital. Besides the usual shouting of slogans and the use of pyrotechnics, some Bosnians joined a Pro-Palestine rally, waving flags and chanting “Ubi, ubi, ubi židove” – “Kill, kill, kill the Jews”.

Watch the video from second 33:

State Protection, who had a monitoring vehicle at the scene, are now investigating against at least a dozen participants. They are accused of hate speech and incitement to murder.
