First person accounts of the events at the Bataclan club, Friday the 13th of Nov. 2015

An original translation by Ava Lon with much thanks.

From le Figaro French news site:

Attacks of November 13: the confessions of the first police officer to be entered in the Bataclan.

Before the parliamentary committee, the police commissioner admitted he did not think he would “live through this hell.” Arriving before anyone else, he killed the jihadist Samy Amimour.

“For us, everyone was dead.” Before the parliamentary commission investigating the 2015 attacks, the Police Commissioner who was the very first responder of the Paris Bataclan concert November 13, tells how he shot down one of the jihadists. A chilling story, delivered in camera and anonymously, the transcript of which was released on Tuesday.

The man especially shares the feeling of terror during the first moments of the operation, even outside the room, seeing “the dead people on the ground in front of us.” “I remember seeing two: a man in front of the Bataclan Café and a woman outside the entrance. We (also with his police driver, Ed) were recorded because someone was filming with a mobile phone. We told him to leave. We heard gunfire.” The police commissioner then looked at his partner, saying: “Let’s go.” The two men understood each other in a glance, according to him. “It was enough to understand that we were on the same wavelength, and we were unified, a team.”

A face-to-face with Samy Amimour

Around 9:54 p.m., the two team members enter the Bataclan, without waiting for reinforcements, and without knowing what awaits them inside.” As soon as we started to move forward, Bataclan’s wooden swinging doors opened towards us, and between fifteen and thirty people fled running and screaming in our direction,” he said before the parliamentary committee. “From the moment we started to progress down the hall, the shooting stopped, and when we entered, there was no more shooting, it was silence.” “There, the scene was indescribable — you can imagine. Hundreds of bodies — for us, everyone was dead — were entangled with each other: at the bar, in the pit, sometimes piled on more than one meter [three feet] high,” he says. The man then describes an “icy silence” in this still concert hall that was so festive only a few minutes earlier. The Commissioner then describes the terrible face-to-face that eventually led him to kill one of the jihadists who was about 25 meters [80 feet]  away. “One of the terrorists, whom we later identified as Samy Amimour […] appeared on the scene. He was in front of us and was holding his assault rifle and threatening a young man a few meters from him. I shot four times and my teammate did twice. The man uttered a groan, collapsed and fell to the ground.”

“There were only the two of us, we had no long guns, we did not know where the terrorists were” — Police Commissioner present at the Bataclan

Seconds later, the officer described an explosion “very high”. This was actually Samy Amimour’s explosive belt that went off. Then an exchange of fire took place in the room, before a new pause. The two men ducked. “We were certain we would not get out of that hell alive,” he said. “There were only the two of us, we didn’t have rifles, we didn’t know where the terrorists were. So I decided to go out to see if reinforcements had arrived.”

“The living pretending to be dead”

Once the two policemen left the room, the gunfire resumed “piecemeal” inside. “So we understand that they are executing people. It was not humanly possible […] for us to stay outside. So we’re all back inside (there are now a dozen policemen, Ed). There was still shooting in our direction, but it was really hard to tell where from. I fired back twice.” When they arrive, people still don’t move. “We could tell that even the living were pretending to be dead,” insists the policeman.

The man explains that after a moment, when the shooting stopped, he decided “to go find the victims who were in the pit a few meters from us.” There, they began to move and to show themselves. “We started to implement an evacuation, one by one, not without difficulties: the floor was very slippery, because there was blood and casings everywhere. We had to step over or move the deceased. There were also people that we knew very well were seriously injured, but we had to retrieve them anyway, unable to use normal aid techniques to transport the victims,” says the police Commissioner.

Another cabbie refuses to take a disability dog “because of religion”

This is common everywhere now. Even on busses in Ottawa, Muslim drivers will try and refuse to board people with licensed helper dogs.

Daily Mail has this write up here:

This is the moment a Muslim taxi driver refused to transport a disabled man with his guide dog after claiming it is ‘against his religion’.

Footage shows Charles Bloch, with his guide dog Carlo and girlfriend Jessica Graham, trying to get in the taxi before being told by the driver that he will ‘not take the dog’ because of his religion.

Mr Bloch, who is registered blind after being born visually impaired, had booked the cab using firm ADT Taxis in Leicester but was shocked to be told the driver would not take him upon collection.

His partner, 21, who was also born with a visual impairment and is registered blind, filmed the encounter on her phone and posted the footage – which now been viewed by millions – online.

Private School: Imam refuses handshake and lodges complaint against teacher

AN original translation by Egri Nok with much thanks!

From this German Website

BERLIN. A Muslim father refused to shake hands with a female teacher in the Pankow district of Berlin. The educator from the private Platanus School accused the man of lack of respect and misogyny, and ended the conversation. The father, who had been at the school for a discussion about his son, lodged a criminal complaint against the teacher, RBB (public radio) reported.

Prior to the conflict pupils had been roughhousing, for which the imam’s son had received a written warning. The boy’s father, Imam Kerim Ucar, a devout Shiite from Eastern Turkey, after several academic talks with the mother, had according to the broadcaster been invited to the school, too.

Hand on the heart

Even as he entered the conference room, Ucar made it clear hat for religious reasons he could not shake a woman’s hand. According to the couple, the teacher asked the imam four times to offer his hand. The gesture was a German custom and a vital affirmation of respect, she explained.

Ucar rejected the request politely but firmly, and put his hand on his heart, which in his religion is the highest possible testimony of respect for a woman. Subsequently the teacher allegedly became loud, and ended the talk.

School contract cancelled

The school declined to comment on the incident, but intends to remain in dialogue with the family. The parents cancelled the schooling contract, retained a lawyer, and lodged a criminal complaint for insult and violation of the dignity of religion.

This past spring, a similar case in Switzerland caused worldwide headlines. Teachers in the Swiss canton Baselland can now insist that Muslim scholars must shake hands, the educational administration of the canton decided. Despite freedom of religion, schools may “demand a handshake and use the sanction options of the educational law,” the authority informed. The equality of man and woman, and integration, were more important than the pupils’ freedom of religion.

[Once again we see that multiculturalism really means any culture that is European or North American will have priority. The German custom of shaking hands to establish equality and trust, will likely be sidelined for the Islamic one of not touching women unless its under … Islamic conditions.]

Larossi Abballa: a lone wolf, really?

An original translation by Ava Lon with much thanks!

From this French language news site:

The Point.fr had access to documents that establish concrete links between Larossi Abballa and jihadists well known to the authorities.
They are three to have been placed in custody in connection with the investigation of Larossi Abballa, the murderer of a couple of policemen in Magnanville. Although one man emerged free, Rajraji Saad Sharaf Din Aberouz, 27 and 29, were brought before the public prosecutor for a possible indictment. Both were familiar with Larossi Abballa. They were convicted and imprisoned at the same time, clearly evolving in jihadist circles. Abballa’s relational map is gradually emerging . It indicates that the author of the two murders maintained direct links with members of the group responsible for the Buttes-Chaumont, Forsane Alizza or the Casablanca attacks. The theory of “lone wolf” seems less and less likely.
Sharaf Din Aberouz is a relative of Larossi Abballa. The two men were part of a group of seven French suspected of having links with Taliban and Al-Qaeda.Two of them were arrested in Lahore by Pakistani intelligence in 2011, just before reaching Waziristan, where they planned to train for jihad. Back then Sharaf Din Aberouz was 25 years old.He was sentenced to five years in prison in France for criminal association for the preparation of a terrorist act. He was released on 12 November 2015 on a conditional remission.
“Violent in its relations with the disbelievers”
According to the information we have seen, he was far from being a perfect prisoner. The prison administration calls him “radicalized”, behaving “like a recruiter”, and notes: “he approaches newcomers detainees, promotes Islam and begins teaching individuals that he takes under his tutelage.”
On 21 February 2012, Sharaf Din Aberouz organized a gathering of forty prisoners during the walk and gave a speech for 10 minutes ” while the prisoners present -that seemed conquered and admiring- listened in complete silence” noted the worried agents. On January 27, 2013, he delivered a call to prayer in the middle of the night. On June 6, the guards reported behavior “violent in his relations with the disbelievers,” December 31, 2014, he welcomed the announcement of the execution of Hervé Gourdel in Algeria.
To prevent him from radicalizing all his fellow prisoners, he was transferred from one establishment to another five times over a period of three and a half years.
Those trips in French prisons were also an opportunity to make friends with bigwigs of Islamist terrorism. He met Maximilian Thibaut, member of the group Forsane Alizza – called nickel feet of jihad – and Teddy Valcy, well known relation of brothers Kouachi Amedy Coulibaly, perpetrators of the attacks of January. Even more troubling, the prison administration noted that Larossi Abballa was friends with Rachid Ait El Hadj, a terrorist, also a native of Mureaux, convicted in 2007 for the Casablanca attacks. The latter was stripped of his French nationality in October 2015. He was not the only member of the Casablanca bombings group that knew Abballa: as explained by our RTL colleagues, Fouad Charouali (also stripped of his nationality), mastermind behind the Casablanca bombings, was a neighbor of the Abballa family. They lived in the same building.
A self-proclaimed imam
Another relationship brought before the prosecutor, Saad Rajraji. He too was part of the Pakistani jihadist connection busted in 2011. Sentenced to 5 years in prison, he was free since November 2014. He was also associating with people that aroused the suspicions of the secret service. In the phone seized by the prison administration, there could be found under different names, four telephone numbers corresponding to Bouchnak Thamer, a self-proclaimed imam, considered responsible for the radicalization of many inmates. The latter organized the reading of religious texts during walks and enjoyed the attention of many stooges “because of his mastery of religious texts,” noted the administration.
Thamer Bouchnak was a member of the group of the Buttes-Chaumont and trained … Cherif Kouachi. Bouchnak knows very well Djamel Beghal, a former GIA and al-Qaida.According to a source close to the case, Thamer Bouchnak was previously considered by the intelligence services as “most likely to take action.” The investigation is ongoing and will determine whether Larossi Abballa acted on orders received and if he had any accomplices.

Danish salafist interview on democracy riles indigenous Danes.

This clip is rumored to be infuriating Danes and understandably so. It is not dissimilar to the Mullah Krakar interview of a few months ago in Norway that commanded nearly as much attention as it should have, relatively speaking of course.

The interviewer was also pretty sophisticated I thought which is unusual on this subject. Even American TV talking heads seldom know what to ask and are usually used as tools by these people. Even so, the question could have been asked if the muslims wanted to impose their own system on all danes, which would be a non-subtle difference to the other examples the salafist kept referring to, where they wished the right under democracy of non-participation. Muslims do not seek this. They feel it is their obligation to obliterate democracy and impose islamic rule. This interview doesn’t quite manage to express this truth but does lean that way.

Muslims in Constantinople stage massive protest to turn the Hagia Sophia into a mosque

Article and photos here

Hundreds of people demanded that the historic Istanbul Hagia Sophia museum be converted into a mosque during a rally in Istanbul on May 24.
People gathered outside Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia, in the historical Sultanahmet district, with some carrying signs that read: “Hagia Sophia needs to be reopened as a mosque,” and “Let our lives be sacrificed for Islam.”

The protest was led by many Turkish nongovernmental organizations, including the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (?HH).

“I always have to be ready with a lie” The story of an apostate of Islam in Denmark

Original translation by Liberty Dk

From this major Danish news service

I always have to be ready with a lie

25-year-old Haifa lives two lives. One as a Muslim and one as an atheist.  She no longer believes in God, but does not dare to leave Islam. This is why she leads a double life, one where she lies about where she is and who she’s together with.  She tells her story in the hope that, some day, it will cease to be a taboo to leave Islam.

Told to Lark Cramon:

I was born in Denmark. I didn’t attend either nursery or kindergarten, so I started in elementary school without knowing a word of Danish. My classmates were almost all immigrants – maybe there were one or two Danes in my class. When I later switched to an Arabic free school, I only had Arabic classmates, and most of the teachers were Muslims. Twice a week I received Koranic teaching in the local mosque, where I had to learn the Koran by heart and every time I learned a new verse, my parents gave me a gift. In the Free School teachers said that it had been imposed on them to teach us about evolution and the Big Bang, but told us that we should remember that it was only a theory, and that God obviously had created the earth. I remember that I went home from school and told my mother everything I had learned about the beginning of the world and of man, who in fact had developed from apes. She was furious. “We don’t believe that” she said and made me promise that I would never mention Darwin and the monkeys again. I did not, but I began to read books that had to do with science.

Islamic extremist shakes Sweden with TV threat

There are several titles missing, some of which repeatedly say, “Kufar” (unbeliever/infidel/hated-other) so I may venture out to find someone to help me translate the missing titles. But as it is, this is quite a video. The view count on the original is in 6 figures already. The story is here.
