Sri Lanka. Cutting through the spin.

The news has been featuring several bits of mis, dis, and contextually amiss information about events in Sri Lanka where Buddhists and muslims have seen escalating conflict.

US president Obama has even weighed in on it on the side of the muslims as he is wont to do whenever muslims face the consequences of actions they set in motion around the world.

Here are a few of links from just the past 48 hours illustrating the classic media narrative there:

This interview I did with one of the leaders of the Buddhist group at the center of much of this conflict spoke with me at length and with great precision on some of what came before the events which the BBC, among others, decided they would report on.

Here is a video which is not in English but the description over at Youtube is at least, and you can see that it is acknowledging the aggression against Buddhists in Sri Lanka.

It should be noted that in the map of the new Caliphate that was released by Al-Qaeda branch, ISIS/ISIL, Sri Lanka is to become a part of it in the near term. Buddhists, who have already lost several entire nations to Islam, Afghanistan to name only one (How did we think the 100 Ft. tall Buddha statues got there in the first place?) in past campaigns to destroy all things on Earth not Islamic, are understandably concerned about how that affects the future of their culture, values and peoples.

Please be warned, this is recorded over the phone from Sri Lanka, the sound is medium, his accent is thick and he is speaking quickly as well as being very diplomatic. But the information is there. If you are looking for some context and counter-spin to the narrative that seems to be the new global standard of, ‘in all things, muslims are the victims’.

Below is a headline we don’t see very often anymore. lol!

1. Boy’s head found in home of convicted Pakistani cannibals

MULTAN, Pakistan – Pakistani police re-arrested a convicted cannibal on Monday after finding a young boy’s head in his home.

Mohammad Arif, 35, and his brother Mohammad Farman, 30, from the small town of Darya Khan in central Pakistan, served two years in jail for cannibalism and were released last year.

(Below, the real story isn’t the one that blogs like this and observers of Islam have known is happening or predicted. The real story is that the BBC, for the first time I can recall on this issue, actually asked the right questions even if they were stonewalled)

There will be much more to come on the events at the ranch in Nevada. In fact, I am getting reports that the feds are gearing up for something now.

New Blasphemy laws for the UK?

Yesterday on Feb. 9 2014, BBC1 aired the program, The Big Questions with its usual three segments. The first segment was a scathing unequivocal condemnation of the Catholic Church due to some well publicized pedophelia cases. According to the segment it was the only aspect of the Catholic church that exists at all. It was in fact, a slaughter of sorts. The one or two Catholics in the audience showed great grace and dignity in the face of it.

The second segment was on hunting in Africa and the one person they got to defend it of course represented everything a good Marxist is trained to loath and many cries of “rich American” could be heard.

The third segment was a little different. The question was, are some things too sacred for comedy? This time it was handled much more carefully.

In my opinion, this was part of the process of anesthetizing the British public to new blasphemy laws for Islam that are most likely going to be implemented. If I were to bet, I would say before 2020. Perhaps it shall be called the year of great irony where 2020 will come to mean the year you may no longer look instead of having perfect vision.

BBC and the Boston Marathon Attack.

The BBC seems to operate on the axiom that a half truth is the most effective of lies.

The attack on the marathon was an act of Islamic jihad. The Nazis loved Islam and there was a close alliance. The fact that he was also fascinated with Nazism is part and parcel of Islamic antisemitism and sense of manifest destiny. This BBC documentary is typical of what we have come to expect of government sponsored media everywhere. That the real cause of Islamic terror is right wing extremism concurrent with awful American/Right wing surveillance of mosques and Islamic groups just because it is pretty much always them doing these actions.

Privatize the BBC and CBC. There is no excuse for this kind of leftist propaganda at our own expense.

Staggering. This is a live feed so I don’t know how one can get back to the key bits but BBC has been reporting that there can be no idea why these 2 “boys” (men) did this because SOME Chechens have a grudge with Russia, and that the older brother had a different “Orientation” and never mentioned what it is.

These reporters know full well that these men were religious muslims and jihadis and avoided any mention of it to the extent of becoming a kind of verbal contortionist.

I sincerely hope the BBC sues me for this post. It would be wonderful to have this broadcast played in court and have someone tell me I am wrong. Assuming of course, truth still plays any part of a British court in the way that facts no longer play a part of the BBC.

Explanation for attacks on muslim shops in Sri Lanka

While the BBC is busy calling rape victims Nazis for defending themselves, at least the Sri Lankan media is bothering to offer an explanation for these events.

This week saw a storm of controversy as Pepiliyana was struck by a couple of attacks on Thursday (28) night.
The Emerald Trading Company was subject to a sudden arson attack when a domestic matter spiraled out of control. Emerald Trading, which is a car salesroom, is owned by partners Murshid Sadun and Amjad Sathik – who also happens to be a captain at the national carrier Sri Lankan Airlines.

A domestic issue had arisen regarding one of Emerald Trading’s employees, a Muslim boy, who had been in a relationship with a Sinhalese girl. The issue was quickly resolved. However, the girl’s father had complained to a monk about the issue. Following the complaint, an eye-witness saw a monk leaving one of the temples in Pepiliyana followed by a group of youths, mostly under 25 of age. The group carried stones and, people were later to discover, kerosene.

[…] love affair between a youth and an underage girl had been the reason for the attack on this reputed textile store in Pepiliyana. A violent group attacked and pelted stones at the popular clothing store causing severe damage to the premises and merchandise.

Health and safety experts have stepped in to check everyone is toeing the line, putting up a sign in the new Broadcasting House offices’ kitchen warning staff not to wash their feet in the sink.
