200 Islamists in “Anti-Terror Detox Programme” as Muslim Council of Britain Urges Anti-BNP Vote

A revelation that more than 200 Muslims living in Britain are currently taking part in a government anti-terrorist detoxification programme, has coincided with a call by the Muslim Council of Britain for followers of that religion to vote against the British National Party.

The existence of the detox programme was revealed in a Sunday newspaper which carried a story about a Muslim youth who had been recruited into an Islamist terror cell in a mosque in London.

According to the report, the scheme is a blueprint for a nationwide programme backed by the Home Office and police chiefs to which 200 people – some as young 13 – have been referred.

The Islamists are recruiting inside mosques all over Britain, according to the reports. They show the young Muslims martyrdom videos and facilitate their travel to Pakistan to receive terrorist training.

The Muslim youth interviewed by the newspaper was quoted as saying: That was the ultimate purpose of what these men were doing: what they were doing was training people up to carry out operations in the UK.

A lot of people think that terrorists are recruited in special recruiting grounds, but the truth is that it actually goes on in mosques a lot of the time, he told the newspaper.

He said that the more advanced recruits had been sent on training exercises to the Lake District and the New Forest in Hampshire, as well as paintballing sessions in the Home Counties.

At the same time, the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) has urged all Muslims to participate in next months elections to the European parliament by voting against the BNP.

Significantly, the MCB announcement was first carried in the Pakistan Daily newspaper. Active participation of the Muslim community is imperative to prevent . . . the British National Party (BNP) gaining a foothold, the MCB said.

Imams and community leaders were reminded to mention to congregations during weekly prayers on Friday the importance of voting in the elections on June 4 and ensure that they were registered to vote by next Tuesdays deadline, the MCB added.

The Labour Partys website second largest group of visitors comes from Pakistan, a country which has been identified as the source of two thirds of all terrorist plots in Britain.

* The existence of a taxpayer-funded programme to steer Muslims away from extremism confirms the accuracy of the BNPs immigration and foreign policies.

Terrorism in Britain is the direct result of two disastrous policies followed by both Tory and Labour governments:

– Mass Third World immigration which has created a population pool from which Islamists can recruit.

– The worlds Muslim population has been incited by a foreign policy which has waged illegal wars against Iraq and Afghanistan.

Until both these issues are addressed, the spectre of terrorism will loom large over Britain.

Ukraine Says 3 Tried to Sell Nuclear Bomb Material

MOSCOW — The metal cylinder supposedly contained eight pounds of plutonium 239, a highly dangerous radioactive material that could be used in a nuclear weapon or a dirty bomb. The price: $10 million, sought by three Ukrainian men, officials said Tuesday.

The men did not make a sale, the officials said, but were arrested in an undercover operation in Ukraine last week that was conducted by the Ukrainian Security Service. Still, while the plot was foiled, it underscored longstanding concerns that unsecured radioactive material in the former Soviet Union might fall into the wrong hands.

Marina Ostapenko, a spokeswoman for the Ukrainian Security Service, said it had turned out that the radioactive material was not plutonium 239. A preliminary analysis indicated that the material was most likely americium, a much more common and less potent radioactive material, Ms. Ostapenko said in a telephone interview from Kiev, the Ukrainian capital.

She said americium could be deployed in a dirty bomb but not in a nuclear weapon.

“They wanted to sell it as plutonium,” she said. “They were asking for $10 million for it because they thought that it was plutonium.”

Ms. Ostapenko declined to disclose further details and she would not identify the three men who were arrested, other than to say that one was a lawmaker in the western region of Ternopol, and the other two were local businessmen.

The men were arrested last Thursday and charged with illegally handling radioactive materials. If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison, officials said.

In a statement, the Ukrainian Security Service said it had determined that the radioactive material was produced in Russia before the Soviet Union’s collapse in 1991 and might have been smuggled into Ukraine from a nearby country.

Ukraine has no nuclear weapons, though it does have nuclear reactors and was the site of the Chernobyl accident. All of the former Soviet republics have repudiated nuclear weapons, with the exception of Russia, which inherited the Soviet arsenal.

Experts have repeatedly warned that poor safeguards, political instability and widespread corruption in the former Soviet republics could make it possible for people to obtain nuclear materials and sell them.

The American government has spent hundreds of millions of dollars in recent years to try to help governments in Russia, Ukraine and other former republics protect nuclear materials.

In 2006, officials in the former Soviet republic of Georgia aressted a Russian man who was offering to sell 100 grams of highly refined uranium, about 3.5 ounces, for $1 million. The Russian was made to believe by undercover agents that the radioactive material was to be delivered to a Muslim organization.

Like the dog that bites the hand that feeds it, the Muslim Council of Britain once again let others know that they are always Muslims first and Britons second. The British government will [ as it has in the past ] apply bandages and offer another treat.

48 murdered by mad Muslim

Appeasing the Taliban by handing over the Swat valley has not stopped the violence against government forces and average citizens of Pakistan. I can only imagine the speech Taliban leaders gave their minions as they explained to them the peace deal they had agreed to with Pakistan. I suspect it was something like, ” We have told the Pakistan government [spit] we will stop jihad on them. So when you are killing them don’t say you are Taliban.” Followed by rubbing of palms and evil laughter.

At least 48 dead in Pakistan mosque bombing

LANDI KOTAL, Pakistan (Reuters) – A suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowded Pakistani mosque during prayers on Friday, killing at least 48 people, a government official said.

“So far we have counted 48 bodies,” Tariq Hayat Khan, the top administrator in the Khyber region in the northwest of the country, told reporters.The death toll could rise, perhaps to 70, he said. About 70 wounded had been taken to hospitals, he said.”It was a suicide attack. The bomber was standing in the mosque. It’s a two-storey building and it has collapsed,” he said.

Police initially said a bomb blew up at a police post next to the mosque near Jamrud town.

 There was no claim of responsibility but Islamist militants opposed to the government’s support for the United States have mounted a violent campaign against the security forces and others.

Militants had earlier threatened to blow up the police post next to the mosque, residents of the area said.

‘Threat Of Britons Trained By Al Qaeda’

Pakistan has monitored more than 20 Britons believed to have spent time with radical militant groups and then returned to the UK, Sky News has learned.

The tracked men are said to have trained with extremist outfits linked to al Qaeda and the Taliban and are thought to pose a potential threat to British security.

The dossier of names is expected to be handed over to British anti-terrorist teams soon and is being seen as a big leap forward in the sharing of intelligence between the two countries.

But British authorities may wonder why the names were not handed over before the suspects re-entered the UK.

The details have been compiled by Pakistan’s intelligence service – the ISI – and follow the Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s declaration that three-quarters of all serious terror plots in Britain have their roots in Pakistan.

The suspects are aged between 17 and 23 and have apparently created “sufficient suspicion” with their activities for the ISI to believe they pose a “potential danger” to Britain. Continue Reading →

Security forces claim orphanage run by Stockport charity was being used as training camp for Islamist militants

An orphanage run by a British charity in Bangladesh has been raided by local security forces who claim it was being used as a training camp and arms factory for Islamist militants.

The anti-terrorism Rapid Action Battalion said today that it had arrested four people, including a teacher and three caretakers, and was searching for the head of the charity, a British citizen known as Faisal.

The arrests came after a raid yesterday on the Green Crescent madrasa and orphanage on the remote southern island of Bhola, Lieutenant Colonel Munir Haque, an officer involved in the operation, said. The charity’s headquarters is thousands of miles away in the town of Stockport, south of Manchester.

“We found small arms ? about nine or 10 in total ? plus equipment to make small arms, about 3,000 rounds of ammunition, two walkie-talkies, two remote control devices and four sets of army uniforms,” Haque said.

“We also found enough explosives and other equipment to make several hundred grenades. We found some ordinary Islamic books, but others that are in line with extremists like Bin Laden.” Continue Reading →

Warning Over Terrorist Attack In Israel

bomb-aftermath-in-israel1A sophisticated ‘terrorist infrastructure’ is planning a mass attack on civilians in Israel after a botched attempt which could have killed hundreds.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says ‘a huge disaster was prevented’ in Haifa after a car packed with dozens of kilos of explosives did not explode.

Police say a passerby heard a small explosion in the car, thought to be the detonator going off.

It failed to ignite the rest of the device and police were called and defused it manually.

Authorities say the attack could have killed hundreds of civilians had it gone to plan.

Israeli shopping malls are protected from car bomb attacks because vehicles are searched on entry.

These attackers evaded inspection by parking the car outside the mall, but close enough to do massive damage if the device gone off.

The attempted attack is causing alarm here both because of the numbers of casualties it could have caused and the apparent sophistication of the group responsible.

The worst terror attacks in Israel have killed two or three dozen at the most.

That is far less than the number the Israeli Prime Minister claimed could have been killed in Haifa over the weekend

According to reports here, the attackers stole the vehicle number of another car to enable them to present licences had they been stopped and asked for them.

They also bought and stored substantial amounts of explosives and had the expertise to add bits of metal to create a shrapnel effect which would have killed and maimed more people.

A little known armed group called Liberators of the Galilee claimed responsibility for the attack.

Israeli newspapers are speculating about the possible involvement of Hizbollah, Lebanon’s Shiite militant movement.

Hizbollah has yet to fulfil its threat of retaliation for the assassination of one of its key commanders, Imad Mughniyeh, in a car bomb in Damascus widely blamed on Israel.

The anniversary of his death passed last month.

Check this site for 6 clips on a new movie called ‘The Third Jihad’ which looks really well done and features interviews from high ranking CIA operatives as well as well known apostates such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali author of the most ecellent autobiography ‘Infidel’.

Its interesting that the clip on CAIR is not available on the site and I can’t help but wonder if it’s in any way connected to the disappearance of www.cairbaby.com which was a website who watched CAIR closely and published evidence of its duplicity and real agenda.

I’m waiting for my copy in the mail now

The Lessons of St. Paul

On Sept. 5, two men from Austin, Texas, were charged in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis in connection with a plot to disrupt the Republican National Convention (RNC) held in St. Paul, Minn., last week. According to the criminal complaint filed in the case, each man was charged with one count of possessing Molotov cocktails.

In the complaint, authorities noted that one of the men, Bradley Crowder, was arrested Sept. 1 for disorderly conduct. The second man, David McKay, was apparently arrested Sept. 1 but then released. McKay was arrested a second time after a search warrant on the apartment at which he and Crowder were staying in St. Paul uncovered a total of eight completed Molotov cocktails. Authorities claim that Crowder and McKay had planned to use the Molotov cocktails against police vehicles in a parking lot near the apartment where they had stayed. According to an FBI affidavit, law enforcement officers used electronic means to monitor a conversation McKay had about using the incendiary devices. In the monitored conversation, McKay reportedly said, “…it’s worth it if an officer gets burned or maimed.”

Crowder and McKay, who were part of a small cell of activists that called itself the Austin Affinity Group, also brought a rented trailer to St. Paul that contained 35 improvised riot shields made from stolen traffic barrels. According to an FBI affidavit, the shields included protruding screws — an indication that they were not just defensive shields, but offensive weapons that could be used against the police. During the execution of the search warrant on the men’s apartment, police also recovered gas masks, slingshots, helmets and kneepads — items that underscore the protesters’ plans to actively resist the police.

Crowder and McKay were not the only ones planning to use potentially deadly means to disrupt the RNC. On Aug. 30, Matthew DePalma of Flint, Mich., was arrested by agents from the Joint Terrorism Task Force at a residence in Minneapolis and found to be in possession of five Molotov cocktails. DePalma was also charged in Federal District Court with possession of the devices. According to an affidavit, DePalma told an FBI source that he planned to use the Molotov cocktails on police. In one conversation, DePalma reportedly told the FBI source, “I will light one of those pigs on fire.”
