Wife of Bulgarian Nationalist Leader: Mosque Clash Is Victory of Democracy

The incident in front of the downtown Sofia mosque is a victory of democracy, Kapka Siderova, wife of the leader of the Bulgarian far-right, nationalist Ataka party, Volen Siderov, says.

On May 20, Ataka supporters, led by Siderov, shocked Bulgaria as its rally protesting against the use of loudspeakers by the mosque in downtown Sofia got out of hand, and activists of Ataka assaulted praying Muslims in front of the mosque.

The incident has had wider repercussions, all the way from Bulgarians flocking to lay flowers at the mosque as a sign of apology, to the start of investigation of Ataka for stirring ethnic and religious hatred and the consolidation of the voters of the Bulgarian ethnic Turkish party DPS (Movement for Rights and Freedoms).

In a Sunday interview for the TV channel bTV, Siderova said the “so-called clash was a way to earn the right to not be exposed to the wail of the Imam.” She insisted the boundaries of tolerance have not been overstepped because there was no fighting, just some pushing, adding things like this happen everywhere and all the time, giving as an example the visit of US President, George W. Bush, in Brussels when demonstrators threw eggs at him.

According to Siderova, precisely the mosque event led to fulfilling some of the long-standing requests to turn the loudspeakers down and not having Muslims pray on the sidewalk.

“I saw for yet another time the face of betrayal – the ugly, snapping faces of people motivated only by money, not a cause,” the Nationalist’s spouse commented on the recent decision of three Ataka Members of the Parliament to leave the party, denying they have been forced to get large loans and sign promissory notes, as they claim.

On the subject of family life and personal relations, Siderova said her and her husband never argue, and the latter is a very emotional person due to his talent to speak and write, which was the reason for her to like him years ago.

The only people in England that seem even remotely interested in getting justice for the British pre-teen who was drugged, raped, killed, and then cut up and made into ‘kabobs’ forcing other people to be unwitting cannibals, are the English Defense League. Just imagine if the police, courts, Crown prosecutors office, the general offices of the state of England was actually interested in doing its job defending the interested of the British public instead of spin doctoring to maintain the illusion of a British Islam. Then there would be no need for an EDL. But clearly there is. And I for one am grateful that some British people are ready and willing to defy fashion and their own government and stand up for British culture, values and history. After all, its not like they can pack up and go home.

To add insult to injury, the killers of Charlene were paid compensation by the courts. Something like 250K pounds sterling.

Mr. Burton wrote a book called Ghost, which is about the search and capture of the principles involved with the first WTC attack in 91 under Clinton. I strongly recommend this highly informative and entertaining book. Once you start it, you cannot put it down, and will be well informed when you have finished it on some of the inner workings of the FBI, DSS and so on. In fact, once you have read it, you can spot both the errors and changes to the facts in the excellent three part movie, ‘The Path to 911’ which is also well worth the time to watch and is also very entertaining.

The Bin Laden Operation: Tapping Human Intelligence

Since May 2, when U.S. special operations forces crossed the Afghan-Pakistani border and killed Osama bin Laden, international media have covered the raid from virtually every angle. The United States and Pakistan have also squared off over the U.S. violation of Pakistan’s sovereign territory and Pakistan’s possible complicity in hiding the al Qaeda leader. All this surface-level discussion, however, largely ignores almost 10 years of intelligence development in the hunt for bin Laden.

While the cross-border nighttime raid deep into Pakistan was a daring and daunting operation, the work to find the target — one person out of 180 million in a country full of insurgent groups and a population hostile to American activities on its soil — was a far greater challenge. For the other side, the challenge of hiding the world’s most wanted man from the world’s most funded intelligence apparatus created a clandestine shell game that probably involved current or former Pakistani intelligence officers as well as competing intelligence services. The details of this struggle will likely remain classified for decades.

Examining the hunt for bin Laden is also difficult, mainly because of the sensitivity of the mission and the possibility that some of the public information now available could be disinformation intended to disguise intelligence sources and methods. Successful operations can often compromise human sources and new intelligence technologies that have taken years to develop. Because of this, it is not uncommon for intelligence services to try to create a wilderness of mirrors to protect sources and methods. But using open-source reporting and human intelligence from STRATFOR’s own sources, we can assemble enough information to draw some conclusions about this complex intelligence effort and raise some key questions. “For years Tablighi Jamaat have deliberately flouted building regulations and planning laws,” said Alan Craig, Newham Concern’s campaign director and former leader of the Opposition on Newham Council. “After much delay and procrastination Newham Council at last took the right action and told them to move off site. But the Planning Inspector has overturned this and apparently decided that illegality pays and they can stay on site with temporary planning permission for a further two years.

EDL Confront Islamic Dawa in Leeds

The English Defence League (EDL) confronted someone trying to propagate Islam on the streets of Leeds. The propagation of sharia norms on the streets of England is unacceptable and the local EDL Division were right to confront him. Sharia is the road to barbarism and must be confronted. Those who believe in equality and justice must confront sharia where-ever it raises its backward, ugly, Medieval head, Sharia in Britain is something that should never be tolerated and those who tolerate it in any way should be regarded as traitors to democracy. Well done to the brave members of EDL in Leeds.

Police out in force for mosque protests

Police say they are ready for Saturday’s planned demonstrations for and against the nearly completed mosque on Hisingen in Gothenburg, reports news agency TT.


The last time such a large police force was mobilized in Gothenburg was ten years ago during the EU protests.

Many are worried about violence and police are planning on implementing a low tolerance level. “The resources are in relation to the threat,” Martin Fredman, Police task force commander, told TT.

Three different groups have been given permission to gather and march towards the mosque. Two of the groups, Gothenburg against racism and the Left party, support the construction of the mosque. The third group, organized by the National Democrats and a group called the Swedish Defense League, are against its construction.

The greatest risk of fighting is expected near Ramberget on Hisingen where the mosque will soon be inaugurated. Police believe 2,000 to 3,000 demonstrators will attend the pro and anti protests and the area is under close watch.

An older demonstrator told TT that she was scared of Islam. The demonstrator later joined a group of protestors gathering near a gas station a half kilometer away from the mosque at around 10 am Saturday morning. Continue Reading →

Before anyone rushes to judge me for this headline, allow me to state a few obvious things that seem to go missing in the modern narrative.

1. Islam is a belief system and consequent behaviours. It is not racist to oppose it any more than it is racist to oppose Republicans or communists or any other voluntary group defined by beliefs etc.

2. Muslims world wide always, without question, discriminate against all other non-Muslim groups, and against women Muslim or not, once they have the population required to achieve enough force to do so, area by area, increment by increment. So opposing it’s growing power in a non-Muslim land is always a good thing for liberalism.

3. Wherever there are massive street prayers by Muslims laws are broken. People cannot access public property and even indeed their own till the Muslims are good and finished with their demonstration of strength. And that is what these are. Prayer in any sense we are familiar with can be done in the privacy of one’s own home or in a temple of some kind. It does not need to happen ‘en masse’ and at the expense of all other peoples and activities in the area. This is why it is a demonstration of Islamic power, and not a religious service.

Press TV attempts desperately to use the language of victim politics to make this clip look like Muslims are ‘The New Jews’. It is critical to remember that Jews were being killed based on the criteria that they had one Jewish grandparent. It did not matter what religion they followed or whether they were loyal to the state or not. With Islam, it is a matter of opposing an ideology and its associated behaviours and consequences. This is critical for the preservation of any culture, other than Islamic, world wide.

Coptics gather to protest against Cairo violence

MORE than 5000 Coptic Christians are expected to gather in Sydney’s CBD today in protest over the growing violence against the religious sect in Cairo.

Reports from Cairo say Coptic women and girls have been targeted in a recent spate of kidnappings, rapes and forced conversions to Islam, prompting today’s protest in Sydney.

The Australian Coptic community is calling on the Australian government to push for UN recognition of human rights abuses against their people in Egypt.

Father Bassilious Gad, of St Mary & St Mina’s Coptic Cathedral in Sydney’s southwest, said he also wanted to support his Coptic brothers and sisters currently protesting in Maspero, Cairo, who have been situated outside a national television station for more than two weeks.

Father Gad said he was expecting more than 5000 protesters to congregate today in Sydney.

    Australia: Govt says no to sharia law

    The federal government has quickly moved to block any calls for sharia law in Australia.

    In its submission to the parliamentary inquiry into the government’s new multiculturalism policy, The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils has called for Muslims to be granted “legal pluralism”.

    Attorney-General Robert McClelland stomped on the request.

    “There is no place for sharia law in Australian society and the government strongly rejects any proposal for its introduction,” Mr McClelland told AAP.

    Sharia has faced repeated criticism.

    It is again in the headlines following an Iranian court’s decision to delay a planned “eye-for-an-eye” act of justice against a man who threw acid at a woman’s face because she refused his marriage proposal.

    “As our citizenship pledge makes clear, coming to Australia means obeying Australian laws and upholding Australian values,” Mr McClelland said.

    “Australia’s brand of multiculturalism promotes integration.

    “If there is any inconsistency between cultural values and the rule of law then Australian law wins out.”

    Mr McClelland is keen to assert Australia’s position as a “stable democracy” where “rule of law” underpins society.

    “People who migrate to Australia do so because of the fact that we have a free, open and tolerant society where men and woman are equal before the law irrespective of race, religious or cultural background.”
