More from the ADL demonstration

Here is that same blogger again attempting to explain reality to leftists. One wonders if this is where the expression, ’tilting at windmills’ comes from. This video makes me think of two things.

1. If Mel Gibson had a not-evil twin, this would be him.

2. “If Fascism ever comes to America I don’t know what it will look like, but they will call themselves ‘anti fascists'”

Certainly this fine bloggers opponents are the new fascism and supporters of genocide.

Australian blogger attempts to reason with leftists and supporters of Islam

Over the next 24 hours I will post a lot more on today’s first ‘ADL’ demo and our Australian correspondent will be posting as well. Meanwhile, here is a short video she took of one of the speakers at the event who was being shouted down by a chorus of the usual knuckle dragging, one note fascist ‘anti-fascists’.

Geert Wilders Ottawa Speech from May 10 – 2011

I know I have posted this already a few days ago from Vimeo, but here it is again from bankoran.com. Some people find it easier to stream if they have limited internet connectivity from here than from Vimeo. Please let me know if there are any issues playing this video, as the site is now on a new server, it should be better than usual.

“Poor, Sickly” Miami Imam Indicted for Funding Pakistani Taliban

Flagler Mosque, Miami

Lots of consternation among the members of the Flagler Mosque in Miami in the wake of a federal indictment and arrest Saturday of “poor, sickly” 76 year imam, Hafiz Muhammad Sher Ali Khan.

The Miami Herald report, “Imam’s arrest shocks mosque members,” provides the ‘shocking details.’

As dawn prayers were spoken just after 6 a.m. Saturday, FBI agents surrounded Miami’s oldest mosque, then banged on the door.

A man opened it. The agents were there with an arrest warrant.

The Muslim man explained that they were in prayer and could not be interrupted. He returned to praying. The agents, who had taken off their shoes before entering the mosque, waited quietly.

“No matter what kind of emergency, we do not break the prayer,’’ explained Shameem Akhtar, a mosque member who was there.

When the prayer was finished, agents arrested Hafiz Muhammad Sher Ali Khan, the 76-year-old imam of the Miami Mosque, more commonly known as Flagler Mosque. They charged that he and his family had funneled more than $50,000 to Pakistani terrorists over the past three years.

Someone is going to do something in France.

Vlad Tepes has been posting for far too long now, on the street closure as a show of force by Muslims in over 40 towns and cities across France. Muslims who force the closure of whole streets and every residence and shop along the way with the pretense of ‘prayer’ but as that can be done by any person in any private location, this is more like passenger pigeons mating. It doesn’t seem to have the desired effect unless hundreds or thousands of them do it together and out in the open.

Also, Vlad has posted on an attempt to have a march in protest of this by various groups in France, the most interesting one, is the planned pig march for tomorrow, which some level of government or other has banned in anti-Terry-Jones fashion. Seemingly banning legal political protest while ignoring flagrant breaking of all the ‘laecite’ laws of French state secularism.

Well I am pleased to repeat a rumour that the spirit of the French resistance lives on. Watch vlad and the various blogs tomorrow.

This is gonna be interesting…

Funding drive

Ladies and gentlemen.

As a consequence of the success of Vladtepesblog.com, I have had to move my server from the shared account that a good friend of Vlad was happy to provide as a sub-domain to his own, to a VPS, or virtual private server. This will allow more traffic and processes without interruption, as has happened several times now in the past month alone. So the good news is, that people are reading Vlad and hopefully becoming more aware of some of the problems that quite genuinely threaten Western Civilization as a whole, and the freedoms and Jeffersonian liberalism that has allowed our nations to become the most prosperous, free and healthy of all nations and for all of human history.

The bad news is, that I have now encountered an additional expense which is hard to bear. I work as much as I can to generate the revenue to allow me to do the editing, filming on occasion and whatever else I can do, but I am stretched now for both time and money. If anyone is able to help with an occasional donation to the site, now would be a great time to do it. The cost of hosting Vlad has now gone up over 10X from what it was yesterday.

This should mean faster and better service, and far fewer interruptions with the site being down every time it goes over X number of processes. But it also means a true burden to me.

Sorry to have to ask this. I have run this and all connected activity at my own expense so far for a few years now. But at this stage, it would be most helpful if a few of you could click the donate button at the top right on the site and help with what you feel you can.

Thank you for reading Vlad, and sorry to have to ask. It has been truly my pleasure to be able to do this work so far and cover it without asking for anything. Pride tastes bad when swallowed even with a decent Thai sauce.

EDL: Standing Shoulder to Shoulder With Our American Cousins

Published on 10-05-2011 09:50  From the EDL website

EDL Ring of Steel to protect US Embassy from future protests

Last weekend was not the first time that radical Muslims have used the US Embassy as the scene for their vile protests.

In fact, the US Embassy in London has a long history of being greeted by protestors and malcontents – but it never faces so much venom as it does when supporters of radical Islam decide to exercise their freedom of speech.

Of course, the Danish Embassy was also a target for their rage after the Mohammed Cartoon controversy, but there will always be a special place for the US Embassy in the heart of your average radical Muslim.

A special place is also reserved for the American flag – the stars and stripes. A symbol of hope and unity for millions of people. A symbol of the American Dream – the belief that anyone has the potential to achieve, and that hard work can earn you a better life. The flag of our country’s closest ally, and firm friend.

Countless times, the flag of the United States of America has been burned and stamped upon in our nation’s capital. What sort of message does this send out, and what would our American cousins think of us if we were not appalled by these acts?

The burning of a Qur’an is a deliberately provocative and hateful act. But so too is the burning of the American flag. Why should we care less about the symbol of our ally’s sovereignty than we do the scripture of Islam?

Part of radical Islam’s quarrel with the US is, undoubtedly, based on what some may believe to be legitimate complaints about the conduct of the world’s only superpower. But it doesn’t explain the unbridled rage or the unrestrained hatred that emanates from these people, nor does it justify their repeated desecration of the American flag.

It also doesn’t account for their catchy placards, which do away with all subtlety (and concern for anti-incitement laws), to boldly declare that fellow Muslims should “slay those who insult Islam”, or wreak bloody vengeance on anyone who doesn’t quite see eye to eye with them on any matter – be it the depiction of Mohammed, or the glorification of terrorism.

Those who carry these placards are not simply Muslims looking to have a discussion about foreign policy, they are Muslims looking to declare their hatred of the West, and in particular, of the ‘Great Satan’ that lords over it. They are not only the cheerleaders of the enemy – they are the recruiters, the radicalisers, and in some cases the eventual foot-soldiers.

Of course, most British Muslims reject these calls, but that does very little to convince these fanatics that it is they who have misinterpreted their religion – especially when so few British Muslims will actually make their voices heard in opposition to those of the extremists. Geert Wilders interview Ottawa Canada May 10 2011

Last night, Geert Wilders spoke to a packed house in Ottawa Canada where he was greeted, I am proud to say, with a standing ovation as he walked into the room.

James Cohen who works extensively with the Free Thinking Film Society and with the International Free Press Society was able to get an interview with Geert yesterday afternoon at the club where the private reception for Geert took place. I am editing the video of the speeches from the National Arts Centre yesterday evening of Geert, Ezra Levant and Rabbi Jonathan Housman and hope to have those up sometime tomorrow. All were excellent. Meanwhile, here is the interview with Geert. Thanks again to IFPS-Canada as well as Fred Litwin’s Free Thinking Film Society for putting on this event.

Once again, Firefox users will have to click here and watch the interview over at bankoran.com while everyone else should be able to see the video here.

Jonathan Kay: Geert Wilders’ problem with Islam

Peter J. Thompson/National Post

Peter J. Thompson/National Post

Geert Wilders: “There are moderate Muslims — who are the majority in our Western societies — and non-moderate Muslims. But Islam itself has only one form.”

May 8, 2011 – 7:48 PM ET | Last Updated: May 9, 2011 7:59 AM ET

As an editor at the National Post, I often rely on three letters to protect my columnists from human-rights tribunals: I-S-M — these being the difference between spelling Islam and Islamism.

The former is a religion — like Christianity or Judaism. The latter is an ideology, which seeks to impose an intolerant fundamentalist version of Islam on all Muslims, and spread the faith throughout the world. Declaring Islamism a menace isn’t controversial. Declaring Islam a menace is considered hate speech.

Geert Wilders’ refusal to deploy those three letters is the reason that the 47-year-old Dutch politician travels with bodyguards, and cannot sleep in the same house two nights in a row. For Mr. Wilders, the problem plaguing Western societies is Islam, full stop. Terrorism, tyranny, the subjugation of women — these are not perversions of Islam, as he sees it, but rather its very essence.

“The word ‘Islamism’ suggests that there is a moderate Islam and a non-moderate Islam,” he told me during an interview in Toronto on Sunday. “And I believe that this is a distinction that doesn’t exist. It’s like the Prime Minister of Turkey [Recep Tayyip] Erdogan, said ‘There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam, and that’s it.’ This is the Islam of the Koran.” Continue Reading →

Cairo’s Copts organize militias for self-defense

Members of the Coptic community in the working-class neighborhood of Imbaba in northwest Cairo are forming militias for self-defense after recent sectarian clashes left 12 dead and hundreds injured.

Copts in Imbaba, who expect more clashes in coming months, say they have organized small groups to protect churches as well as homes and businesses owned by Copts.

The clashes broke out Saturday night after a group of Muslims attempted to storm a church under the pretext of rescuing a Muslim woman who converted to Christianity. A second church was set on fire.

A small group of Copts who gathered near the US Embassy in Cairo on Sunday called for international protection of Egypt’s Christian community and criticized the government for not doing more to protect them.

Sunday night, thousands of protesters staged a sit-in front of the state TV building calling for immediate investigation into the clashes and church burning.

Tens of Copts gathered inside the church at the center of the clashes while the army blocked nearby streets.

“We haven’t slept since yesterday,” said Raouf Naguib, a young man inside the Saint Mina Church. “We are gathered here to protect our church even with the presence of the army.”

This is the second time in recent years that Copts have taken up arms to protect religious sites. In 2008, Copts defended the Abu Fana Monastery in the Western Desert after it was attacked.

Erian Aziz, a retired military officer, said that he tried to negotiate with the mob and convince it that the church was not hiding anyone, but he was unsuccessful.

“The angry Muslim mob grew larger and we heard the sound of bullets from every corner and then they started to attack the church and Copt-owned stores,” Aziz said. Continue Reading →

US pilot refused to fly with conspicuous Muslims on board.

…and the pilot was correct. The pilot is law aboard an aircraft and he has the right, including and right up to shooting someone on board who threatens the safety of the aircraft, to deal as he sees fit with all on board. In this case, he rightly assumed that other passengers would be uncomfortable with conspicuously religious Muslims and it might make for a less safe and serene flight. We all know this pilot is correct. This can’t even be racism according to the bizarre and absurd new-left definition of it that includes Muslims as he didn’t throw off people who believed in Islam so much as people who wore the costume of those who tend to blow up aircraft for Islam.

From FOX

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Two Muslim religious leaders say they were asked to leave a commercial airliner in Memphis on Friday and were told it was because the pilot refused to fly with them aboard.

Masudur Rahman, who is also an adjunct instructor of Arabic at the University of Memphis, said by phone from the terminal at Memphis International Airport that he and another imam had already been allowed to board their Delta Connection flight to Charlotte, North Carolina before they were asked to get off the plane.

Transportation Security Administration spokesman Jon Allen in Atlanta confirmed the incident and said it was not initiated by that agency.

A Delta Air Lines spokeswoman said the flight was operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines, which is also based in Atlanta.

“We take security and safety very seriously and the event is currently under investigation,” Atlantic Southeast spokesman Jarek Beem said Friday evening.

Both passengers are Memphis-area residents. Rahman said he was dressed in traditional Indian clothing and his traveling companion was dressed in Arab garb, including traditional headgear.

Rahman said he and Mohamed Zaghloul, of the Islamic Association of Greater Memphis, were cleared by security agents and boarded the plane for an 8:40 a.m. departure.

The aircraft pulled away from the gate, but the pilot then announced the plane must return, Rahman said. When it did, the imams were asked to go back to the boarding gate where Rahman said they were told the pilot was refusing to accept them because some other passengers could be uncomfortable.

Rahman said Delta officials talked with the pilot for more than a half-hour, but he still refused.

The men were taken to a lounge and booked on a later flight. Beem said they flew on to Charlotte later Friday.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused,” Beem said.

The men contacted the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group in Washington, D.C.

“It’s racism and bias because of our religion and appearance and because of misinformation about our religion.” Rahman said. “If they understood Islam, they wouldn’t do this.”

He said a Delta manager apologized for the pilot’s actions, but that he and Zaghloul never spoke directly with the pilot.

Ibrahim Hooper, of the American-Islamic organization, said the group will follow up with the airline and with the TSA to help ensure such incidents do not continue to occur.

Hooper said airline officials at Memphis tried to resolve the situation, but the pilot refused.

At least one UK judge gets it right.

‘Learn English, get a job and stop smoking cannabis’: What judge said to immigrant drug dealer on benefits
By Daily Mail Reporter

Click over to the link at top for the whole story.

The court heard how police raided Ramzan’s home in Derby, and found cannabis in plastic bags ready to sell.

More raids were carried out in January and March 2010 at other properties where he was staying. Cannabis was found at these.

Ramzan initially denied knowledge of some of the cannabis but admitted some of it was for personal use.
