Palestinian pop video: children sing of becoming martyrs

Palestinian children sing of becoming martyrs. Without Palestine, they say, childhood has no meaning. It would not matter if thy had the rest of the world. In the video Jews are portrayed as cruel and bloodthirsty oppressors.

The person who retrieved this video says that they “Downloaded [it] from the site….. The source is an Islamic satellite channel for children called “Birds of Paradise” which broadcasts from Bahrain and aired in Gaza. The children’s choir is also called “Birds of Paradise”. The head of the channel, Khalid Maqdad, is a Palestinian Jordanian.”

Saudi-style justice: Men, women flogged and jailed for talking at party

From YNet News

Judicial officials say a Saudi court has convicted four women and 11 men for mingling at a party and sentenced them to flogging and prison terms.

The men, who are between 30 and 40 years old, and three of the women, who are under the age of 30, were sentenced to an unspecified number of lashes and one or two year prison terms each.

The fourth woman, a minor, was sentenced to 80 lashes and was not sent to prison.

The ruling was handed down on Tuesday at a court in the northern town of Ha’il.

The officials say the police saw the group partying until dawn last month. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the media.

Saudi Arabia follows a strict interpretation of Islam that prohibits unrelated men and women from mingling.

Radical Moroccans Orchestrated PvdA Coup in Amsterdam

From NIS News

AMSTERDAM, 22/06/10 – Conservative Muslims have press-ganged aggressive young Moroccans into seizing power via intimidation in Amsterdam’s Nieuw West district, according to De Volkskrant newspaper.

In the district elections on 7 December 2009, Ahmed Marcouch was put forward by the national Labour (PvdA) leadership as candidate PvdA leader of Nieuw West. Although he is Moroccan, many other Moroccans considered him too liberal. They put forward their own Moroccan candidate, Achmed Ba’adoud, who indeed defeated him.

The Osdorp, Slotervaart and Geuzenveld/Slotermeer districts in Amsterdam were merged to form the Nieuw-West borough in May. The three branches of the PvdA merged in June 2009 ahead of the three districts’ merger. Ba’adoud began his campaign of intimidation at that time, according to De Volkskrant. Continue Reading →

Intel: Times Square bomber was eager to attack US

By Asif Shazad, Associated Press

ISLAMABAD — The Pakistani-American who pleaded guilty to trying to bomb Times Square was determined to strike the U.S. even before he received training by the Taliban, but his time spent with militants close to the Afghan border steeled his resolve further, alleged accomplices detained in Pakistan have told investigators.

Pakistani intelligence agencies are holding at least five suspects in connection with the attack.

Two of them have allegedly admitted to helping Faisal Shahzad reach Mir Ali town in North Waziristan, according to a Pakistani intelligence official involved in the case who provided details to The Associated Press on Tuesday. Pakistani intelligence does not allow operatives to be identified by name.

The official said American investigators, including those with the CIA, have been involved in interrogating the alleged accomplices, who were arrested in the days and weeks after the May 1 attempted attack in the heart of New York. Continue Reading →

Canada to bar Islamic preacher

An Indian Muslim televangelist who was banned from Britain last week for “unacceptable behaviour” will not be allowed into Canada to speak at an upcoming conference in Toronto, sources familiar with the situation have told the National Post.

Dr. Zakir Naik, who has said “every Muslim should be a terrorist” and that Jews are “our staunchest enemy,” was to headline next month’s Journey of Faith Conference — which is billed as one of North America’s largest Islamic conferences and is expected to attract upward of 10,000 people.

Dr. Naik, the Mumbaibased founder of Peace TV and a widely respected lecturer in India, has a laundry list of views that could have led to his exclusion from the U.K. and Canada, both of which require an Indian citizen to obtain a visitor visa.

The 44-year-old medical doctor recommends capital punishment for homosexuals and the death penalty for those who abandon Islam as their faith. He has said that a man is within his right to beat his wife “lightly,” although in a July 2009 YouTube video he cautioned against hitting her on the face or leaving a mark. Continue Reading →

Geert Wilders declares “Jordan is Palestine” — upsets Jordan

By ABDUL JALIL MUSTAFA, ARAB NEWS

AMMAN: The Foreign Relations Committee at the Jordanian upper house of Parliament on Monday rebuked leader of a Dutch far-right political party for proposing the establishment of an alternative homeland for Palestinians in Jordan.

“This strange attitude represents an encroachment on internal law and conventions as well as a flagrant aggression on the sovereignty and independence of Jordan, a member of the United Nations,” said the Committee’s Chairman, Marouf Bakheet, in a statement carried by the official Petra news agency.

Geert Wilders, who leads Holland’s extremist Party for Freedom (PVV), said last week that he believed Jordan should be renamed Palestine. “Jordan is Palestine,” he said. Continue Reading →

The Islamization of Sweden: an interview with Kent Ekeroth of the Sweden Democrats

From Frontpage Magazine

Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Kent Ekeroth, the international secretary for the political party, Sweden Democrats (SD) and a candidate for the Swedish parliament in the elections in September 2010.

FP: Kent Ekeroth, welcome to Frontpage Interview.

I would like to talk to you today about the Islamization of Sweden.

Let’s begin by you telling us a bit about the political climate in your country. To what extent have political correctness and multiculturalism infiltrated the society and what destruction are they wreaking?

Ekeroth: Thanks Jamie.

We’ll a friend of mine once described Sweden as a “politically correct dictatorship,” which is a rather good description on how far things have gone in Sweden. I can give you a few examples of exactly how far we are talking about. Our prime minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, said the following soon after he was elected in 2006:

“The core Swedish is only barbarism. The rest of the development has come from outside.” Continue Reading →

Muslims rally for Sharia law in UK, prompting protests

From Russia Today

Muslim protestors gathered in London on Sunday calling for aspects of Sharia law to be introduced in Britain. The rally turned into chaos, sparking a counter-demonstration by English right-wing nationalists [the EDL].

“We find many of these people who call for human rights and one law,” said Asad Ullah, member of the Muslims against the Crusades group. “They come and they say that they want equality. But what equality do you get when one man legislates over another? Is he not more superior than you? You are worshipping him by submitting to and obeying his laws… We will get oppression like this until we all submit to one law, and that is the law of God.” Continue Reading →

Dutch Rabbi gets Hitler salute and raises the alarm about anti-Semitism

by Maartje Willems

In a broadcast of the Dutch TV program “The Five W’s” by the [Dutch] Jewish Broadcasting Organization, one can see Rabbi Lody van de Kamp walk with two students though Amsterdam where he is threatened by Moroccan youths. One of them even gives him a Hitler salute.

In the TV program Van de Kamp raises the alarm about the growing anti-Semitism in the Netherlands. He wants Jews to be able to walk normally in all areas of the city, and at present that is not the case.

“It happens regularly that one is mocked,” says Rabbi Van de Kamp. The two students also claim to have been harassed often when they walk through the city.

In other cities of the Netherlands there have also been reports filed with the police because Jews were attacked.

Last week it became known that the Amsterdam borough “De Baarsjes” even has a hidden synagogue, because Jews are afraid of trouble otherwise.[1]

Last week PvdA member Ahmed Marcouch called for the deployment of a lokjood [“decoy Jew”] to halt the growing anti-Semitism.

“As far as I am concerned, you may deploy a decoy Jew, but you must nab them. You must do everything to increase the chances of getting them. These look like they are just incidents, but this is serious.”

Elsevier comment: Why is there so little public outrage about the increasing aggression of Dutch-Moroccan street-scum?

PHOTOS FROM THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE TO SAVE GAZA

Photos from the “Islamic Conference to Save Gaza” held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Israel has nothing to worry about…

UPDATE: From Israellycool blog. Further investigation of the source blog of these photos reveals they were taken at the 21st International Conference on Islamic Unity, and not the “Islamic Conference to Save Gaza” as was posted at the blog cited in my post below.

I am all for pointing out the Arab and Muslim apathy towards the “palestinian cause” (they don’t truly care for the palestinians, but rather use them as a tool to attack Israel) , but I won’t do it based on dishonesty. Having said that, it’s good to see the Arab approach towards unity demonstrates the same kind of apathy.

NOTE: I have a good source who vouches for the photos, that they are indeed from the confernce in question.

US unions Islamists and communists block access to Israeli commercial ship

From Pajamas Media:

An Israeli cargo ship arriving in Oakland today was forced to sit idle and not offload its containers when longshoremen joined forces with a coalition of communist and Islamist groups who picketed the port in protest against the recent violent incident off the coast of Gaza.

The ship, owned by Zim Lines, was not carrying any controversial cargo, nor is Zim involved in politics in any way; it was targeted simply because the shipping company is based in Israel.

The planned protest and blockade were organized by The Free Palestine Movement (one of the same groups which organized the Gaza “flotilla” in the first place) as well as a rogues’ gallery of nearly every communist, anti-Israel and radical Islamist group in the Bay Area:

IHH preperations for Israeli soldiers aboard the Gaza bound love boat.

A youtube user named sion5509 has been making some fascinating comments on the video of the German news clip on the facts surrounding the people behind the main boat used to lure the Israelis into a public relations disaster.

I asked him to send me a link from where he was getting this information and he was kind enough to do so immediately. Here is the rest of the info from that page:

Video Recordings of Statements from Mavi Marmara Crew Members about Preparations Made by IHH Operatives for the Violent Confrontation with IDF Soldiers 1

Overview

1. The videotaped statements of two Mavi Marmara crew members show that preparations for a violent confrontation with IDF forces were put in motion about two hours before the boarding began, when the Israeli Navy hailed the ship and told it to halt.

2. According to the statements, the atmosphere aboard the Mavi Marmara was tense and the crew noticed a gathering on the main deck. When they checked the upper deck they discovered that IHH operatives were cutting the ship’s railings with metal disks they had brought with them into lengths suitable to be used as clubs. The crew members said the activities worried them and that they tried to stop the operatives but were unsuccessful.

3. The following are the statements of the one of the ship’s captains and an officer. This bulletin contains the text of the statements and the videotaped interviews.

AS OSLO UNIVERSITY PREPARES TO DISCUSS POSSIBLE BOYCOTT OF ISRAEL, AN EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE JCPA CHAIRMAN AND RECTOR

The Tundra Tabloids has obtained an email by Professor Leslie Wagner, chairman of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs’s Institute for Global Jewish Affairs, that was sent to the rector of the University of Oslo, Ole Petter Ottersen, Professor MD, PhD. The Tundra Tabloids has full permission to reprint the exchange between these two professors. KGS

NOTE: It’s good to know that the rector of the university is fully against such a boycott, let alone the discussion of one.

Correspondence:

Dear Professor Otterson,
I appreciate your prompt reply to my previous communication, and welcome your statement of your personal position regarding the boycott proposal. It is unfortunate from the university’s point of view that any member of the Board can make proposals, however damaging they may be to the good name of the university. I wish you success in mobilising the support of the Board for your position on this issue.
Leslie Wagner

Dear Dr Wagner,
Thank you for your mail regarding academic boycott. Please rest assured that the leadership of the university of Oslo is united behind its firm opposition to any form of academic boycott. The reason why this issue is to be discussed at the upcoming board meeting is a technical one: One of the board members insisted that the issue of boycott be brought to the board and the current rules then dictate that this wish has to be accommodated. For your information we can tell you that we have actively promoted our view in the press and declared that academic boycott is not a way to go in any conflict of this kind. In fact, the leadership of the university argues for a more active use of science diplomacy in conflicts where diplomatic contacts break down or prove inefficient.
I hope this helps clarify this issue. In short, we share your views on the harmful effects of academic boycott and trust that our board will rule against such a step with an overwhelming majority.

Dear Jan Petter Ottersen,
I write to you as a former vice chancellor of 2 British universities and a former chancellor of a third to express my shock that the University of Oslo is to consider a proposal to boycott Israeli universities and academics. Such political gestures have no place in academic discourse, and particularly at a university with the reputation of the University of Oslo.
That reputation can only be damaged, perhaps irrevocably, within the international academic community, if Oslo decides to judge which academics it will recognise on the basis of their passports rather than their academic merit. I urge you to do all in your power to prevent your university going down a route which not only breaches the core principles of academic life, but which will also do great and lasting harm to your fine institution.

Yours sincerely

Professor Leslie Wagner CBE
