World on alert after U.S. kills bin Laden

But… but… if OBL is not a Muslim leader, then why is there this need to be vigilant? Why aren’t we all at local mosques waiting for the celebration to start and the gifts of appreciation for dealing on the guy who hijacked their religion?

WASHINGTON/ABBOTTABAD, Pakistan (Reuters) – Osama bin Laden was killed in a U.S. assault on his Pakistani compound on Monday, then quickly buried at sea, in a dramatic end to the long manhunt for the al Qaeda leader who had become the most powerful symbol of global terrorism.

World leaders hailed bin Laden’s death but the euphoria was tempered by fears of retaliation and warnings of renewed vigilance against attacks.

The death of bin Laden, who achieved near-mythic status for his ability to elude capture under three U.S. presidents, closes a bitter chapter in the fight against al Qaeda, but it does not eliminate the threat of further attacks.

The September 11, 2001, attacks, in which al Qaeda militants used hijacked planes to strike at economic and military symbols of American might, spawned two wars, in Afghanistan and Iraq, inflicted damage on U.S. ties with the Muslim world that have yet to be repaired, and redefined security for air travelers.

A small U.S. strike team, dropped by helicopter to bin Laden’s compound near the Pakistani capital Islamabad under the cover of night, shot dead the al Qaeda leader in a firefight, U.S. officials said.

“This was a kill operation,” one security official told Reuters, but added: “If he had waved a white flag of surrender he would have been taken alive.”

The revelation that bin Laden was living in a three-story residence in the military garrison town of Abbottabad, and not as many had speculated, in the country’s lawless western border regions, is a huge embarrassment to Pakistan, whose relations with Washington have frayed under the Obama administration.

President Barack Obama, whose popularity suffered from continuing U.S. economic woes, will likely see a short-term bounce in his approval ratings. At the same time, he is likely to face mounting pressure from Americans to speed up the planned withdrawal this July of U.S. forces from Afghanistan.

President of the United States claims that Osama Bin Laden is not a Muslim leader

CORRECTION: I listened to it again and Burak said “…is not a Muslim leader…” which begs the question, why is the US going to make sure the body is handled in strict adherence to the sharia?

Well, I guess that kills any rumours that Obama is a Muslim. Cause any Muslim would know that not only is Bin Laden a Muslim but most would agree he is an excellent example of one. In that spirit, I encourage any and all readers to please send in news stories and videos of Muslims either mourning his death or celebrating his new status as a shahid, and any streets named after him etc.

Bottles of urine thrown at Terry Jones supporters in Dearborn yesterday.

Amongst other things. This picture from a link posted by someone who was at the protest. I have asked them to please write up a description of what it was like at the demo. More pictures of the Jones demo can be seen here.

OMBUDSMAN FOR MINORITIES DOESN’T WASTE TIME, SEEKS TO INVESTIGATE TRUE FINNS MP FOR INCITEMENT AGAINST AN ETHNIC GROUP

The architects of multiculturalism bring out the long arm of political correctness against the new parliamentarian, and already threaten the man from Viitasaari with incitement of an ethnic group.

Teuvo Hakkarainen, newly elected member of parliament in the True Finns party from Central Finland, mentioned the word “negro” and minarets in a Helsingin Sanomat interview, and quickly got into trouble.

The entire political elite was aghast at Hakkarainen’s use of the “N” word, as well as his warning about minarets, accompanied by him mimicking the Islamic call to prayer. This is  a major stab in the heart to free speech, and major triumph for tyranny. KGS

The Ombudsman for Minorities requested an investigation of Hakkarainen’s statements

The Ombudsman for Minorities Eva Biaudet has asked the General Prosecutor to assess whether the True Finns MP is guilty of ethnic agitation, or other offense in the Helsingin Sanomat video interview.

Biaudet says MP Hakkarainens deeply offensive statements towards certain ethnic groups do not include constructive criticism such as points on immigration, but his views are essentially racist and offensive to human dignity.

The Ombudsman for Minorities has asked the General Prosecutor to assess the opinions of Hakkarainen that go beyond the limit of freedom of expression.

Biaudet deems Hakkarainen’s opinions of immigrants, asylum seekers, of dark skin color people as well as Muslims defamatory and abusive.

-“They can provide misleading impression that a certain group of people are criminals, and inferior,” says Biaudet.

According to Biaudet the freedom of speech within a democracy is not absolute. She refers to the Penal Code 11 Chapter 10 which forbids all so-called hate speech.

Minister of Justice Tuija Brax does not want to assess the Ombudsman’s call for an investigation.

Buddhists in Thailand finally fight back. Media fails to celebrate.

This is a new bit I have been thinking on how to describe for a couple of days now. I find it to be perhaps one of the best examples of what has gone so very wrong in the Western world at some point since the 1960s.

After years of murder, torture, rape and horror by Muslims to the Buddhists in the ‘restive’ areas of Thailand (Video not available since youtube closed my channel, will try and replace it) Buddhists are doing something they learned the very hard way. “The way of peace cannot work against those who have closed hearts” (paraphrasing the Dalai Lama on Islam) These Buddhists have formed militias in cooperation with local police and are attempting to protect themselves, their culture, history, religion, women, nation and ancestral homes against an invading Islam. The reporter who covers this story manages to explain these facts yet somehow still make both sides equally in the moral wrong. It staggers the imagination. He manages to find someone to quote who accuses the defenders of exacerbating the situation by defending themselves.

Much like General Petreaus when he spoke of Pastor Jones, I suppose they feel it would make it much safer for all of us if we just surrendered and converted to Islam instead of actually defend our own moral and legal codes.

EDL Demo for Blackpool May 28th

Our national campaign against the threat of radical Islam brings us to the seaside town made infamous by the gruesome murder of Charlene Downes.

Charlene disappeared in 2003, and evidence emerged that her body had been put through a mincing machine in a Blackpool Kebab shop – one of a number of takeaways in the town identified by police as a sexual exploitation ‘honey pot’.

Lancashire police botched the investigation into Charlene’s murder and paid the two defendents nearly £250,000 each in compensation.

Today, the kebab shop is still open and it is thought that over 60 Blackpool school girls have been the victims of grooming or sexual abuse by Muslim takeaway owners and workers.

The English Defence League, alongside Casuals United, will continue to support the Downes family’s fight for justice.

We will also continue to expose the hatred and intolerance that radical Islam is spreading in our country.

We will speak out against the Muslim sex gangs, against the politicians who cover them up, and against the religious scripture that does so much to inspire them. We DO NOT want this hatred in our country and we ARE NOT afraid to make a stand against it!

UK IS ‘CLOSED TO WAR REFUGEES’

Daily Express… BRITAIN will not open its borders to migrants fleeing the turmoil in North Africa, the Home Secretary has insisted.

Theresa May told her EU counterparts that the UK was not prepared to take on any “burden sharing”.

Ms May issued her warning at a meeting of Europe’s Home Affairs ministers in response to calls for help from Italy.

She did however offer “practical assistance” to Italy on its own shores.

A Home Office spokesman said: “We were quite robust in stating that we are not planning to open our borders to those coming to Europe from North Africa. We do not agree with ‘burden sharing’ which is what Italy wants.”

More than 25,000, mainly Tunisians, have arrived in Italy since the unrest there and thousands of Libyans, Egyptians and other Africans are expected to make the crossing as border controls in war-torn Libya fail.

The tiny Sicilian island of Lampedusa is swamped by thousands of migrants arriving by the boatload every day. Continue Reading →

Man who burned Qur’an gets pain and suffering fees

Toronto Star… NEWARK, N.J. — The New Jersey Transit employee fired for publicly burning pages of the Qur’an on the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks last year is getting his job back.

A settlement obtained by The Star-Ledger Newark shows Derek Fenton will receive $25,000 for pain and suffering when he resumes his $86,110-a-year job.

He’ll also receive back pay equal to $331.20 for every day since his firing on Sept. 13, 2010.

The state will also pay $25,000 in legal fees to the American Civil Liberties Union, which filed a lawsuit claiming Fenton’s right to free expression was violated.

The 40-year-old was not working when he set fire to three pages of the Qur’an in September in Lower Manhattan to protest a planned Islamic centre near ground zero.

Dearborn holds hearings on Pastor Jones intended protest at Michigan mosque

Apparently the first amendment of the US constitution is not really law anymore and local councils can set conditions and ‘free speech zones’ so as not to inconvinience anyone who doesn’t like to hear what anyone else has to say. This is the utopia of the new left or a step on the way towards it. I must say, I grow to admire Pastor Jones more and more with each interview I hear. His ideas are certainly lucid and important even if he voices them poorly.
