The Indictments against the SPLC is every bit as much an indictment of Canada

For those who don’t yet know, the dialectical enemy propaganda organization, the Southern Poverty Law Centre, has been formally indicted for fraud. They collected money from .. I am trying to find an adjective that is not also a pejorative in this case, let’s go with ‘concerned citizens’ to stop “extremism and hate” while in fact literally funding the Ku Klux Klan. According to FOX, they were also funding “National Socialists movement”. In other words, freaking Nazis.

Having followed these communist SOBs for many years now, we have done the odd article including secret video released of one of their meetings where they admit the real objective. To destroy classical America.

Tucker Carlson even did a good segment on them before he kinda… effectively… you know…

In 2018, the John Birch society did a video exposing the SPLC for what it really did. Attack any non-communist group or any Conservative group or any group that was a threat to the Islamo-communist plans for the United States using the now overly familiar dialectical labels of “hate” “intolerance” etc. ad inf.

Below, a video from 2018 by a Christian group that had their event cancelled because of pressure from the SPLC. Please note who did the agitation to shut them down, and who the SPLC was siding with:

So in the US, The SPLC was partnered with ANTIFA, and CAIR, and in Canada, the SPLC North, CAHN, is partnered with CAIR Canada, or the NCCM.

That is something we at VTB and others have repeated about them for years and years.

But The United States has now actually formally pressed charges against them. The joy one should feel, especially perhaps if one is from the left as the left represents itself, is enormous. But as a Canadian I am reminded of something I read back in the 80s. I have no idea if it is true exactly, but I know in principle it is.

“At any given time, there are over 100 elected representatives in jail in the United States.”

I remember reflecting that it is interesting that this is a badge of great honour for America. In Canada, no elected representative ever goes to jail for anything at all. This doesn’t mean none of our reps are criminal. It means we do not have anything like a republic. There is no equality before the law. There is nothing in Canada even approximating a republic. What Canada has instead of equality, is sanctimony. And that is not a substitute.

Canada has its own version of the SPLC. It is headed by an odious fellow named Bernie Farber. He in fact claimed that Neo-Nazi literature was found at the Freedom Convoy. A narrative that was widely amplified by the main state propaganda network, Comrades before Citizens, better known as the CBC.

In fact the pamphlet in question was from a years older march in Florida.

Here are some of the connections between the SPLC and the Canadian Anti-Hate network:

Confirmed Connections Direct Funding:

The SPLC provided $25,000 as seed/start-up funding to help establish the Canadian Anti-Hate Network. This has been reported by Ezra Levant (Rebel News) and others, and has not been credibly disputed by CAHN.

Partnership / Modeling: Multiple sources describe CAHN as being modeled after the SPLC and acting as its Canadian counterpart or “partner.” The Federalist (2019) explicitly referred to CAHN as an “Anti-Hate Southern Poverty Law Center Partner.”

Ideological and Operational Alignment: Bernie Farber (founding chair of CAHN) and the SPLC have collaborated for years on “hate group” monitoring, reporting, and public advocacy. Farber has been quoted by the SPLC and has appeared in joint or aligned efforts against what both organizations label as “far-right” or “hate” groups in North America.

Shared Tactics: Both organizations use similar methodologies — publishing “hate maps,” monitoring individuals and groups they define as extremist, and advocating for deplatforming, funding cuts, and legal pressure against their targets.

Background on the People/OrganizationsBernie Farber:

Former CEO of the Canadian Jewish Congress, now founding chair emeritus of CAHN. He is a prominent Canadian Jewish activist who has long focused on fighting antisemitism and far-right extremism. Critics (especially on the right) accuse him and CAHN of being overly broad in their definition of “hate,” often targeting conservative Christians, critics of mass immigration, and opponents of certain Islamist ideologies.

In fact, CAIR Canada, now called NCCM (National Council of Canadian Muslims) hired or asked Farber to give a presentation at Ottawa City Hall on Islamophobia several years ago. Something Farber is curiously worried about above and beyond antisemitism, except where antisemitism is a useful device to devalue Conservative groups the AHN targets.

Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN): Founded in 2018 in Toronto. It monitors and reports on what it considers far-right and hate groups in Canada. It receives some federal Canadian government funding and has been controversial for its aggressive stance against those it calls, “right-wing figures and organizations”.
Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC): The well-known U.S.-based organization famous (and controversial) for its “Hate Map” and lawsuits against extremist groups. It has faced significant criticism and legal setbacks in recent years for its expansive labeling practices.

Summary of the RelationshipThe SPLC and CAHN/Bernie Farber have a documented financial, ideological, and operational relationship. The SPLC helped fund CAHN’s creation, and the two groups function as aligned organizations with overlapping goals and tactics in the “anti-hate” space.

It is a very safe bet that no similar indictments will be levelled against the Canadian Antti-Hate network. Like elected reps in Canada, they are above the law, especially if they are working against Classical Canada. And the CAHN most certainly does.

For those who have not seen Michael Hansen’s excellent film, Killing Canada, banned from the Ottawa Public Library, there is also a very good and well researched segment on the CAHN that should be seen. Below is the whole movie. Perhaps later I’ll excerpt that section. But the whole film is well worth the time. It was filmed shortly before the Communist Revolution of 2020.

In a comment on this post, I was reminded that a fine group of young patriots, who were in fact very much classical liberals, were destroyed and made illegal by the Canadian parliament BY UNANIMOUS vote, called the Proud Boys. They are well featured in the Hanson movie above, including interviews with the leadership in Ottawa. All of the impetus to do this to them came from the CAHN. All of it was lies. Again, this is as much an indictment of the Canadian “Conservative” party as it is the Liberals, as one expects this from the Liberals.

At no point did the Parliament of Canada attempt to make ANTIFA a terrorist group as they did the Proud boys, even though ANTIFA is in fact a terrorist group by any rational definition, and the Proud Boys merely defended Canadians from ANTIFA.

The details:

The Parliamentary Motion (January 26, 2021)
The Canadian House of Commons passed a non-binding motion calling on the government to designate the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity.
This motion was passed unanimously by unanimous consent (no recorded vote needed, as no one objected).
The Actual Designation (February 3, 2021)
The final decision to add the Proud Boys to Canada’s list of terrorist entities was made by the federal government(specifically Public Safety Minister Bill Blair under the Trudeau government), not by a parliamentary vote.
This was an executive action under the Criminal Code, not a vote in Parliament.
There was no parliamentary vote on the actual listing itself.
So while the symbolic motion in the House of Commons was unanimous, the legal designation of the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity was a government decision, not a parliamentary vote requiring unanimity.

Once again we see that the Conservative Party of Canada is a Potemkin veneer of Canadian values and more a lubricant to the communist revolution than an opponent of it.

The following videos are the speeches given on Parliament Hill on March 12th by Constitutional lawyers, pastors, Members of Federal Parliament, activists and the head of the Christian Heritage Party concerning Bill C9. One of a tranche of totalitarian bills aimed at eviscerating all the most basic rights of anything like a republic in Canada. Speech which counters any state narrative will be actually criminal, instead of the extra judicial punishments the state has used so far such as doxxing and use of Jacobins like ANTIFA to punish those dare oppose each or any narrative attack.

Yesterday in Ottawa, the streets filled with grateful Persians, expat Iranians much to the consternation of the handful of leftists protesting trump at the US embassy.

There are two groups of expat Iranians on the streets yesterday. The first was a small group I have seen at pretty much the same spot between Parliament and the bridge over the Canal on Rideau st. since the Covid era.

I got an interview with the organizer of that group yesterday on his views of the events of the day. As he and his group had been there for years, I really wanted to focus on how Canadian media had treated his views on Iran. He was very diplomatic in his answer. But it isn’t hard to tell what he really thinks about it.

There was however a MUCH larger group that assembled at the last minute. The first group in the video above is at the hill at least every Saturday if not more often. But hits group was assembled independently and at the very last minute, since they only made the calls when they heard about the attack.

The second group also differs in that they support the instalment of Reza Pahlavi as leader of Iran. He is the son of the late Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was overthrown in 1979 during the Islamic Revolution that brought Ruhollah Khomeini to power. The first group feels he is probably just as bad as the Mullahs but in some other way. They want a more pure democracy.

But the majority seem to want Reza installed.

Below are moments from the march from parliament Hill to the US Embassy in Ottawa. It was a great moment when hundreds of Persians, none of them exactly white by the leftist’s standards, marched past a rag tag few professional leftists while the Persians chanted slogans of devotion and appreciation to Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu.

Hearing them chant against the Islamic Republic was also refreshing. It is amazing what non-legacy Canadians and actual refugees can get away with on the streets compared to say, Canadians demanding their basic rights to bodily autonomy.

If any of our readers are in or able to get to Toronto tomorrow, please consider checking out what we have been told is going to be a protest, estimated to be 100,000 strong, protesting the Islamic regime in Iran.

This will be an actual grass roots protest, unlike the paid planned anti-Israel ones that have been going for a few years now.

Hundreds of busses are scheduled from Montreal to go to Toronto, and many are coming from nearby USA as well. One might imagine that the protest will at least go past the Iranian consulate in Toronto.

Mark Carney and the New Soviet style block of Canada and the EU

A couple of things about Mark Carney, now that the Soviet past of Kier Starmer has been exposed by the Daily Mail. (See our post from a few days ago)

A little note here before we get going on this list of prima facia evidences that a communist takeover of Western nations has taken place. A couple of the reasons people do not believe it, or cannot take it seriously, is that A. They do not know what communism is, and when their associates, friends and even relatives who escaped from behind the Iron Curtain try and tell them why they risked life and limb, left their families and friends and careers/jobs to risk it all in a free country, they are looked on as eccentric foreigners who don’t know anything about their countries of origins. I know. I remember thinking that way about a Christian Lebanese man who ran a diner back in the 70s and had a complete meltdown at me in his restaurant when I gave him some relativist garbage about Islam and Lebanon. Guess who was right there? HINT: It wasn’t the sanctimonious Canadian kid.
B. Because people cannot comprehend that subversion and infiltration could happen at the highest levels. For them I would recommend reading Diana West’s books, The Red Thread and American Betrayal.

And if that doesn’t do it, and it won’t because no one will actually read those books unless they are already receptive to the idea that the US has in fact been heavily penetrated by the COMINTERN already, then get the book by an ex Soviet ‘influencer’ at a very high level who had an actual epiphany and became a Patriot and a Christian, The Whitaker Chambers book called Witness. This reads like a spy novel as Whitaker was actually an excellent writer of propaganda for the Soviets, so when he decided to tell the truth about his life and subversive activities, he made it a very interesting and easy read.

And if you can’t get people to try any of those, this is a free audio book on YouTube called. School of Darkness, by soviet agent, Bella Dodd about the work she did to destroy the US by having pedophiles and homosexuals join the Catholic Church as clergy and creating teacher’s unions for the sole purpose of transforming schools into Communist indoctrination centres. She also repeatedly mentions the effort the COMINTERN put, into electing a Democrat President FOUR TIMES IN A ROW. This is a worthy book. For those that know how, download it to your phones or load it on your phones and listen while doing errands or walking the dog or what have you. This is communist subversion as it actually happened 101. Unlike Yuri Bezmenov and for that matter, George Orwell who tried to tell us how it will happen and what it will be like when it does respectively.

Lastly, in the UK during the Cold War, the head, the top guy, of one of the most mission critical British intelligence agencies, Sir Roger Hollis, Director-General of MI5 (1956–1965) was a Soviet mole. He taunted the Brits by having a photo in his office of the Ural Mountains taken from the wrong side. And although that was never proven, all the accusations fit like a glove. But Kim Philby, of MI6 (SIS) Head of the Anti-Soviet section actually was 100% PROVEN to be a Soviet mole.

Now back to Mark Carney:

As a partial aside, Moose mentions the Century Initiative and connects Mark Carney to it, but missed this, when Carney was a guest speaker at least year’s meeting.

The EU is a communist entity, like the UN. And suddenly Carney’s antipathy to the US makes perfect sense. He clearly WANTED to have a reason to disengage with the US specifically in order to become part of the new COMINTERN entity, the EU and UN. The US is resisting that for the moment. Watch the video above. Although this is not so much about Carney making money. This is about destroying your most fundamental liberties, even in your own head.

We see this already in action. Talk to anyone who believes in a state narrative such as CO2 produced by human industry is destroying the climate, or conversely talk to anyone who buys into the various narratives that the mRNA injections were an untested experimental gene therapy or that there are no mass graves at residential schools etc. etc. ad nauseam. You will see how within their own heads they already cannot process information that is in opposition to narrative beliefs, even if you show them proof from climatologists or Pfizer itself, or the staggering lack of proof of residential graves and the total unwillingness to actually try to find any.

Now I have NOT Fact checked this following video. It intuitively tracks, and most likely enough of it is factual for its purpose, whatever it is. But it is worth watching. And if ANYONE knows for a fact that any of the claims in this video are true, or not true, or true with a qualifier PLEASE leave your observations in the comments. Some of this is easy public record though, so well worth posting. The thesis of this post of course is that Carney is a central component of the Western COMINTERN effort to take down individualist society, as he pretty much says in his own book albeit not directly. Instead he says Capitalism is the problem with the West and that Marx, Engles and Lenin are his inspiration. So this video belongs here.

David Krayden speaks on the Ostrich story, and details yet another Canadian instrument of state is operating for raw power rather than its intended purpose

We tried to follow the story about the Ostrich farm out West in Edgewood BC from the start, but frankly, none of it made any sense. We posted a video of two men making the case for the state. One of them was even a doctor who was an early detractor of the Covid shots. So he had that counter-narrative street cred. But their story didn’t really seem to fit any of the holes in the jigsaw puzzle well enough to form a picture.

Eventually, analysis at the right level of abstraction occurred. The weirdness and lack of logic and total dearth of science surrounding the entire Ostrich story made exactly the same kind of non-sense as did the origins of Covid, The lock downs, mandatory mask wearing, vaccines that only work if other people take them, the Trans-narrative, the mass graves at Residential schools, the climate-con, the Land Claims pledges, 2020 US election win for Biden, Mostly peaceful protests, Aliens watching US military bases, Islam is the religion of peace, Diversity is our strength, ‘Multiculturalism’, etc. etc. and you get the idea.

Once you realize this is about state power and the negation of rights of farmers, property owners, individuals as entities with rights and the state itself replacing God, it all starts to make sense.

Here is a couple of videos of John Carpay discussing how the state in Canada has captured pretty much every professional college and regulatory body and used it to enforce marxist state narratives on its professional members. I was reminded today that the colleges for example, do not remove the licences of members who commit actual crimes against their own clients, but will disbar lawyers who opposed an official state diktat on how things must be viewed now. Although this is a different Line of Operation from legislated mandatory speech (pronouns) or what may not be said, this is part of the same Line of Effort to create official views by the state and make them enforceable by, as Trudeau said at least once and Carney may have also, “The whole of government”. Gay Yemeni braves the left and Muslims to tell of his revelation that Israel is a wonderful place and Jewish people are just people

In a presentation at a Montreal Synagogue, Luai Ahmed gave a presentation at the behest of Stand With Us. A group of non-Jewish people who are attempting to mitigate the massive rise of real antisemitism, and in particular at Universities.

In Ahmed’s talk he mentions a visit to Concordia, but the man who sped before him briefly was an elected figure from the student body at McGill. The antisemitism, and the false dichotomy of anti-zionism is virulent on campus. Luai offers a very valuable insight as to why that is the case. being essentially kids need a rebellious cause and most of the societal problems are all solved now. This is likely a huge factor. But it ignores the billions in propaganda money spent by leftist groups and governments as well as Muslim Brotherhood groups to foment this form of rebellion.

We genuinely admire this gentleman’s courage and dedication and the personal risks he is taking for speaking up with his personal experience and values which contradict Islamic doctrine, sharia law, and laws and culture of Islamic nations.

However there was, (as we have seen at another Stand With Us presentation) a very clear and deliberate disassociation between Islam, and the actions that Muslims take in the name of Islam, at the instructions of Islamic doctrine and scripture, and in keeping with Islamic history and contemporary sermons.

This has to be pointed out. If one cannot name the enemy, one cannot fight it, let alone win against it. So admirable as it is, this deviation from the ‘root cause’ is problematic.

The RAIR Article references Dr. Andrew Bostom’s work in terms of the degree of antisemitism in various Islamic nations.

This is because of a proposed solution by Luai in terms of dealing with these attitudes.

Interview with Canadian veteran and freedom fighter, Jeff Evely

On the 7th of October, Chris and Tamara received their sentencing for the Mischief conviction they got for protesting against an illegal state diktat concerning lockdowns and coercion, often existential coercion to take an experimental mRNA-DNA gene therapy.

A lot of true heroes of the Canadian freedom scene were in court that day and we ran into one, and interviewed him as the court let out after the final verdict.

Jeff Evely was fined over twenty thousand dollars for walking about ten yards into the woods in Nova Scotia. The same province that made it a crime to cheer on the trucks headed to the Freedom convoy in Ottawa for those who don’t remember.

Yes, Nova Scotia made it a crime to stand on a highway overpass and cheer on the trucks as they went to cheer on the cavalry headed to peacefully protest the communist revolution that was clearly taking place across Canada in 2022 (started much earlier of course but that depends how you decide to measure it) and then more recently, NS made it a crime to walk in the woods or stand on the beach.
Were there reasons? Of course. There always are. Do those reasons justify taking away the most central human rights we have? Never. Even the right of exit was removed during Covid. The last right a communist authoritarian state removes, is the right to leave for your own reasons.

This site has given what a lot of readers may think is disproportionate attention to what an outsider might think of as a minor internal police investigation of one of its officers.

In fact it is the clear and detailed example of the communist revolution playing out in real-time.

I found out about this new documentary watching Det. (Ret.) Donald Best on the Jason Levine show on X.com. Det. best reminded me that because of the case of Det. Grus, there is a new law/rule in Canada. Police are no longer allowed to launch a criminal investigation without permission from higher ups. Higher ups certainly means those officers who live in the balance between political interests, and actual criminal investigations which the police had been created to do.

Again, from the outside, it may sound like a good thing that police can’t launch a criminal investigation without permission. But seeing as how it was overtly stated during the trial/hearing of Helen Grus that her investigation into a cluster of baby deaths had political implications and therefore should not have been done, we can know for a fact that this new law/rule about policing in Canada is nothing other than Orwellian.

Better stated, it is nothing short of authoritarian communism as was so brilliantly illustrated in Orwell’s book, 1984, and Animal Farm.

Both of which should now be supported providing they are moves to a Republic like state and not merely part of the dissolution of Canada to create a global Marxist polity.

Shawn Buckley of the NCI brought his travelling Health show to final stop: Parliament Hill this week

Those of you who followed the NCI, and frankly there is no one in the Western World who should not have done so during Covid, will know Shawn Buckley. He is a constitutional lawyer who, given the total absence of any kind of opposition to the Covid measures and vaccine mandates, created a court with sworn in testimony of doctor’s scientists, experts and my favorite and IMO most important part, journalists who had left legacy media like CBC and gave under-oath testimony about the manner in which media was used as propaganda agents and not purveyors of information. That would be their phrasing. Mine would be weapons of the political warfare aspect of the communist revolution being completed by Mark Carney.

Shawn now has a new mission. That of exposing Health Canada and the legacy medical system in Canada.

Under Trudeau there was a bill which sought to regulate dietary supplements, vitamins and minerals, and various herbs and so on under the same regulatory set as the compounds made by big pharmaceutical companies. I ask Shawn about that bill here. But in essence, his tour was about raising awareness of the actual modus that the medical system works by, as compared to a naturopathic medical model which can cure the disease rather than club the symptoms with compounds which, while profitable, often bring their own problems with them.

(Before you tell me, yes I know I lost focus for a minute. It can be tricky to hold an interview and watch the monitor every second as well. But the audio is fine)

The first stop for Shawn was Parliament Hill. Here is his presentation of the 3rd largest petition in Canadian history to a Conservative MP asking the fed guv to not remove people’s rights to seek treatment for disease through alternative means. There is a moment where he refers to anecdotal evidence of an actual cure for an “incurable” disease which is interesting for a couple of reasons beyond the obvious. One is that the women in his illustration is in the audience, and secondly that she was a scientist with Health Canada!

Afterwards, he spoke at Ottawa Vanier Biker’s Church and brought guests from the industry to speak as well.

Shawn’s presentation at Bikers was very similar to Parliament Hill, but for those very interested in the subject, you may want to watch this as well as there are more details and examples in this presentation.

Some of the other speakers from the event included a highly trained expert in the use of various nutrients and supplements including herbs and plant products to treat or even cure various diseases such as this gentleman from Montreal

Another guest who spoke was a gentleman who created a supplement company after seeing some amazing results from the use of nutritional supplements on his father when medical science had given him a Grimm prognosis.

More detail is available at RAIR Foundation on this event. But this material and the approach taken to medical science is well worth considering and augmenting your own view of health and medicine. No model is perfect and science when actually done as science is always changing because new evidence is found, better testing is done and more or different variables are considered. So while one may poke holes in one or two things said or presented, the overall thesis is important.

Secondly, and this goes to the heart of what this site is about, The State has no right to determine what truth is. And when it does have that power, drops a nuke on it. Imagine telling yourself 25 years ago that at some point the Government of Canada would insist that if a man stated that he was in fact a women, and that if you denied that, you would be guilty of a criminal offence, how you would react to that statement.

Please consider that when you wonder about state directed medical care. That is, if you slept from 2020 to 2024 where they did declare medical truth with about the veracity of ‘gender’ theory. All of which of course has the same end result. The removal of your rights and identity as an individual agent, and increased power to an increasingly God like state.

I think this is what she references.

So maybe, just maybe, an ounce of prevention is in fact worth not having the state euthanize you.

Curious propaganda mural near the CBC building on Sparks St. Mall in Ottawa

Narrative propaganda in Canada is increasing in frequency quite dramatically. From ‘Pride’ flags promoting the Trans and LGBTQ dialectic in every community centre and hung on the front wall of any Church that doesn’t want to find its building in flames. Or at least I suspect that’s how it works. Someone needs to do a study on the six hundred Churches that have been burned down in Canada and see how many of them refused to go along what we think of as the literal negation of Deuteronomy, by hanging a gay-trans etc. pride flag on their buildings. A Demonic or diabolical version of the Lamb’s Blood from Exodus. Classic communist thinking if this is indeed the case.

And at this point, the colour spectrum ROYGBIV has been pretty much hijacked as a symbol for celebrating homosexuality. Perhaps because it originally was a symbol of God’s Covenant with Man after the Flood. And Communism seems to have a curious obsession with negating the symbols of Judaism and Christianity for some reason. Maybe it’s all those poems Karl Marx write to Satan.  Itself a curious thing to do really. Indifference to alternative sexuality so long as it’s among consensual adults seems like the truly liberal thing to do. But of course, Leftist use of sexual identity is after all, like multiculturalism, a dialectic attack on purposeful sexuality. Sex that leads to relationships that cause and raise the next generation of people. Any outlet for the sexual impulse that avoids reproduction appears to be what the left doesn’t just celebrate, but will criminalize you for not celebrating. Thinking again of the Canadian veteran woman who was debanked just for asking her branch manager if instead of having 5 Gay Pride flags in front of that branch, maybe they could have 4 and one Canadian flag. That was enough to have all her services cancelled.

All this was inspired by a curious mural which is on Sparks St. a block from the CBC HQ and a block from Parliament Hill. It features all the iconic animals of Canada. Except they have been represented as having rainbow fur and feathers. Which reminds us of a classic Alex Jones video.

There was a viral clip of Alex Jones yelling about “They’re turning the freeaking frogs gay”. Of course this was in response to an RFK Jr. talk on how atrazine in fact does exactly that, or morph them into females etc.

But it kinda looks like whoever authorized this mural on Sparks St. is if not turning all Canadian wildlife gay, at least misrepresenting them that way.

Gay animals means extinct in one generation. So generally, no. That doesn’t happen. Animals that are gay end in one generation. Like Humans.

And just in case you think we are kidding about the use of homosexuality and other forms of sex as a dialectic weapon intended to negate all aspects of culture and for that matter, reality itself. check out the hit new play on pan-sexual Anne Frank.

This isn’t a function of tolerance of the differently sexual. This is using any form of sexuality that can be imagined as a weapon against normalcy.

As stated earlier in the previous post, we think that the seventy five MILLION dollar ‘commercial’ or anti-Trump propaganda effort by the COMINTERN representatives in Canada and Ontario was intended to provoke an all too predictible reaction by Trump and then to use it to gin up hatred of Trump and unity among Liberal supporters to get Carney a majority government in what is potentially a non-confidence dissolve of Parliament when he tries to pass his first communist budget in a few weeks.

Journalist Brian Lilley, who has in the past covered for Ford for reasons I do not know, appears to be doing so again. He claims the advert was totally legit and not deceptive or edited out of context at all. Which it was.

Below is the entire video of Raegan explaining his views on tariffs. What Carney-Ford left out was that Raegan explained clearly that sometimes you have to apply tariffs when a trading partner is not playing fairly with you, taking advantage of a situation or being deceptive with you.

That means that yes, Ford-Carney absolutely misrepresented this Raegan speech completely. Trump has only been applying tariffs to trading partners that have for a very long time been acting either in violation of the letter of trade deals or the spirit of them. An example of which might be agreeing to not do a thing, then renaming the thing and continuing to do it. Something as Canadian as Maple Syrup.
