An Iranian man has broken the astronomical clock of the ancient Catholic Cathedral in the French town of Lyons. According to “Le Progres.fr”, on March 23, a 28-year-old citizen of Iran tried to put out of action the mechanism of the 14th-century clock in the St John the Baptist Cathedral with an iron bar. A part of the mechanism has been damaged. The vandal was arrested soon. He explained his conduct thus: splendor of the clock prevents him from concentrating on prayer, reports Sedmitza.ru.

Muslims living in America should not be bound by U.S. law, according to a leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who delivered the controversial message to a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas.
“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.
The rally in Austin was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events.
According to the event website, Muslims from around Texas went to the capitol to “promote civic and political activism throughout the wider Muslim community.”
The tolerance just oozes out of their yells of allhu akbar.
The church group secured more than the required numbers of signatures from local community supporters in order to get approval for the extensions, but local community leaders refused the request under pressure from local Islamists.
We are often fed the idea that Indonesia is a ‘moderate’ Islamic nation. Events on the ground would suggest something very different. Again, we don’t hear a peep from the supposed high priests of religious tolerance at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The OIC promoted UNHRC Resolution 16/18 that purports to confront threats to freedom of religion. It seems very clear that the OIC does not in fact favour religious freedom and Indonesia is an OIC member state. Perhaps to the OIC, religious freedom only means the freedom to expand the reach of sharia.
During a recent interview, Dr. Mahmoud Shu‘ban, a professor at Egypt’s prestigious Al Azhar University, made clear that the Copts, Egypt’s Christian minority, will pay the jizya—what is often referred to in the West as an Islamic “poll tax.” According to the Al Azhar professor, “If non-Muslims were to learn the meaning of ‘jizya,’ they would ask for it to be applied—and we will apply it, just like Islam commands us to.” His logic is that, if Christians pay the jizya, they would buy for themselves “protection,” hence why they themselves should want to pay it.

Most Western apologists for Islam also claim that jizya money was historically paid to protect conquered dhimmis, though they often imply protection from outside enemies, non-Muslims. In fact, the jizya was/is protection money from surrounding Muslims themselves—precisely Shu‘ban’s point: pay up and maybe your churches won’t be burned and your girls routinely abducted; because you are not paying, you are not protected from such things and have no right to complain.
Incidentally, this Shu‘ban is the same scholar who went into hysterics on live TV, insisting that an Egyptian Muslim man who tore a Koran “deserves to be struck by the sword in a public place—and as soon as possible; as soon as possible; as soon as possible!”
As Stephen Coughlin explains in one of his excellent briefs, the Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) seems to be calling out instructions through mosques so that Muslims in a given area know exactly who to target, how and when.

If they want to pray go to a damn mosque. It isnt like they teach evolution, physics or anthropology at mosques right? Just high nitrogen chemistry as a rule. Why not leave universities to do what they are supposed to do and stop inventing fake rights. Next thing the Jewish students will demand their rights to have decent Szechwan places on campus.

The newspaper is 100 years old and for reasons no one quite understands, is being forced out of its ancient offices to make room for a second prayer room, quite obviously for Muslims. Yet this is a university, not a mosque. It seems that universities across the Western world have utterly lost the basic requirements for their existence. Perhaps the time has come to close them and start a new system with less public funding and stronger emphasis on academics and Greek thought.
For those who are not familiar, it is very important to understand who the MSA actually are.

First, copies of The Gazette started disappearing from newsstands, then the student government reportedly demanded to sit in on editorial meetings, and now in what Canada’s only daily student paper is calling the latest crackdown on “campus press freedom,” Gazette staff are being turfed out of their offices to make way for a prayer room.
“Given some of the issues that we’ve been undergoing in the last nine months, it leads me to strongly suspect that [this eviction] is about something else,” said Gloria Dickie, editor in chief of the University of Western Ontario-based student paper, The Gazette.
It is always slightly amusing to hear Muslims claim to be victims of discrimination and in the same breath explain how they will destroy all of our systems and codes and subject us all to totalitarian Islamic supremacism.

Malaysia’s Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (Reuters/Bazuki Muhammad)
The Sultan of the Malaysian state Selangor has issued a decree that the sacred word ‘Allah’ can be used only by Muslims. The move put more fire into controversy in the state where language peculiarities also make Christians use the term.
“Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah made a decision and decreed that the word ‘Allah’ is a sacred word specific to Muslims and it is prohibited to be used by any non-Muslim in Selangor,” the Islamic Affairs Council of the Selangor state said Tuesday. The body added “a stern action” was ordered against those questioning the new fatwa, but did not elaborate.
The sultan, mufti and council convened after the chief minister of another state, Penang, urged the central government to allow the word ‘Allah’ to be used in the Malay translation of the Bible, national daily The Star Online reported.

“RACE-HATE” schools may be turning kids against the British way of life, secret papers have warned.
Ministers are said to have concerns that more than 100 independent faith schools, most of which are Islamic, could be encouraging anti-British hatred.
But education bosses fear they will be unable to crack down on extremism as it is too difficult to prove it is going on.
A Government source said: “There is a gap between what we think we know and what we can prove.”
Three schools flagged up as being “of interest” in the secret documents are run by a group which is alleged to have links to deported hate preacher Omar Bakri.
