Maria L. Case: Hussein K. Charged with Murder of Freiburg Student

Five and a half months after the violent crime against a student in Freiburg, the State Prosecutor presses charges for murder against the suspect Hussein K. He is charged under the youth criminal code at the district court Freiburg.

19 year old Maria L. was raped and murdered in October 2016. Seven weeks later, the suspect was arrested. The refugee was stated to be 17 years old. Two age assessments, commissioned by the state prosecutor, nevertheless assume that at the time of the crime he was at least 22 years old.

But as doubts cannot be overcome, he will be tried under the youth criminal code, the State Prosecutor explains. There is no date yet for the trial.
Under adult criminal code, the suspect might face a life long sentence. Under youth criminal code, maximum ten years, in severe cases 15 years, are possible.

He had been convicted in Greece

The crime had started a debate over the German refugee policies, even before the attack on the Christmas market in Berlin. According to German authorities, Hussein K. came to Germany in November 2015 without any documents.

He stated his age to be 17 years old and from Afghanistan. Therefore, he was under the protection of the Youth Welfare Office as an unaccompanied under-aged refugee, and lived with a foster family in Freiburg. He could not provide any verification of age and background.

He had been sentenced to 10 years in jail for the violent crime against a young women in Greece in 2013. But he was released early in October 2015 under constraints. Shortly thereafter, he disappeared and came to Germany as a refugee.

German authorities weren’t aware of the criminal background of the man, because Greece did not issue an international arrest warrant.
Hussein K. was arrested in Freiburg early December, and has been under arrest since. Police had found his DNA traces at the crime scene. According to reports, he remains silet on the allegations.

(How do you know an attacker of random people in the West is a Muslim? Ali filmed while he raped a girl in the school yard

Ali was sentenced to 40 hours of youth service for the rape of a child in a school yard. Both he and his parents are now appealing the verdict to the Court of Appeals.

In February, 16 year old Ali was convicted for rape of a child after having pushed a 13 year old girl to the wall at the Tolered School in Gothenburg and forced her to oral sex. The crime was committed in July 2016.

During the police interogation the girl explained that Ali was strange and nagged her about wanting to have sex. He pushed her up against a wall and tried to draw down her pants several times. He further told the police that she drew her pants up and explained to him that she was not interested. At this point he urged her to give him a blowjob until he ejaculated – otherwise she would not be allowed to leave, Ali expalied while taking down his panrts and unterwear.

Ali then pushed her head down against his penis and raped her for between 20 and 30 minutes. During the rape he took up his cell phone and filmed the abuse, which prompted the girl to ask him to put it away. Averything stopped when Ali’s friend Mohammed arrived at the scene.

After the rape, Ali has – according to the authorities – spread the video recording, to other people who then started bad mouthing the girl. In spite of this Ali has not been convicted of child pornography nor convicted for slander.

Ali already has a criminal record. In June 2016 he was convicted for violation of the Radiation Procetion Act in that he pointed a laser pen against a person, who was about 100 metres from Ali’s home. The victim was hit in the eye by the laser for 2-3 seconds. The victim of the laser assault was not afforded any damages. Acording to the sentence, Ali was well aware that the laser was dangerous.

In February 2017, The City Court of Gothenburg sentenced Ali to youth service and 40 hours youth work for the rape. He must also pay 14,000 SEK in damages, of these 8,860 are also liable to be paid by his parents.

Records viewed by online paper Free Times (Fria Tider) shows that Ali and his parents have both appealed the sentence to the Court of Appeals for Western Sweden.
