Jasser’s Appointment Riles Islamists
I must say, I am pleased and surprised that the Obama admin picked this man. It is a large step in the right direction. If you look at who is angry at this appointment, it was clearly the right move. Within a week or so, I hope to have a rather comprehensive set of posts to prove this point beyond reasonable doubt.

He has different views than most of the national Muslim advocacy groups featured in the media, and for that, Islamist groups have worked to keep Zuhdi Jasser from gaining traction in the national debate over religion and extremism.
He has been smeared as an Uncle Tom, a clown and even a “sock puppet” for anti-Muslim forces. So when it was announced Monday that Jasser had been appointed to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), Islamists frothed with hyperbolic excess.

I just received an email from the truly superb website, ‘Point De Bascule’ (The Tipping Point) a French language website out of Quebec that does very thorough and carefully vetted research into the main issue of the day, our war with Islam and the extent to which they are taking over and transforming the Western world, specifically Quebec in their case.
This is a great read. But bookmark PDB and check it for English articles when you can. They have original material that is really worth reading and frankly, important to know. There may be another article ready soon which will deal with another critical aspect of Islamic influence in the Western world as well I am nervously anticipating.

You are the recipient of this email because you are all aware that last September 2011 McGill gave its full blessings to a grand“interreligious” conference which also promoted (with the intention to replace the current UN declaration) a Universal Declaration of Human Rights of Religions. Censoring academe and the media was part of the “rights” listed in this declaration. The Dalai Lama was invited alongside Tariq Ramadan… As is usually the case, after Ramadan has been anointed with the blessings of a prestigious University, the same university seems to be getting, a short time after his passage, some form of significant “gift” or the announcement of a new chair to study something related to the Middle-East or a form of Shariah base studies, those from Ottawa may have already noticed this.
Please note that the McGill announcement comes only one day after the French government officially banned several “extremists” from entering their country. The French government’s Press Release also names Youssef Qaradawi and Tariq Ramadan. Youssef Qaradawi did not need a visa to enter France as he is the holder of a Qatari diplomatic passport, of course he “renounced” his privilege to enter France. In the future when Tariq Ramadan will be faced with this question he will undoubtedly respond that France never banned Qaradawi… In the same way that he recently said to a CBC journalist that he did not preface Qaradawi’s book of Fatwas, it was rather a commentary (not a preface ?) – The book proves otherwise.
As for Tariq Ramadan, well the government slapped the UOIF (French Muslim Brotherhood) organizers on the hand for inviting Tariq Ramadan… This all came about after the killings in France by a “radical something” that fell out of a clear blue sky to become “something radical”. So the French said that they would now target all those who preach “radical stuff”. They discovered that Qaradawi, Sabri and Ramadan just might be doing something that may lead to lone killing machines who just randomly targets little girls who just so happen to be Jewish. Of course, he was a “lone wolf” who just felt compelled to also film his selective actions to share with “a lot” of “likeminded” friends. So much so in fact, that the government had to shut down several Facebook pages praising the “killer” with enough tumbs-up to demonstrate that the “loner” was definitely “not alone”. This French electoral campaign is thus helping some politicians to do what should have obviously be done a long long long time ago. One wonders what would have happened without an electoral campaign where the Qatari influence on the French government and policies is one of the topics debated…

Ken Livingstone: I will make London a beacon of Islam

Ken Livingstone has promised to turn London into a “beacon” for the words of the Prophet Mohammed in a sermon at one of the capital’s most controversial mosques.
Mr Livingstone, Labour’s candidate for mayor of London, pledged to “educate the mass of Londoners” in Islam, saying: “That will help to cement our city as a beacon that demonstrates the meaning of the words of the Prophet.” Mr Livingstone described Mohammed’s words in his last sermon as “an agenda for all humanity.”
He praised the Prophet’s last sermon, telling his audience: “I want to spend the next four years making sure that every non-Muslim in London knows and understands [its] words and message.” He also promised to “make your life a bit easier financially.”
Mr Livingstone was speaking at last Friday’s Jummah prayer at the North London Central Mosque, also known as Finsbury Park Mosque, formerly controlled by the terrorist recruiter Abu Hamza.

After Eeyore’s post from earlier today that still has my head spinning, here’s another story that beggar’s belief from the country that once used to stand up to totalitarian ideologies.
We all expect the Islamists and Jihadis to be dedicated to overthrowing our governments and overturning our way of life, and some of us get furious when we discover how inactive these governments are in the face of the threat, but when these selfsame governments are actively funding groups dedicated to their own destruction, with our money? Well this is a degree of ill-judgement which borders on lunacy.

Millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money is still being paid to groups linked to Islamist extremism, more than a year after David Cameron vowed to outlaw the practice.
People associated with one “extremist” group whose grant was terminated after the Prime Minister’s pledge are now being used to induct new staff into the Government’s own Office of Security and Counter-Terrorism (OSCT), the Home Office division responsible for directing Britain’s anti-terror efforts. Only last week the same individuals were awarded thousands of pounds of fresh public funding.
Meanwhile, the Civil Service has solicited “fast-stream” recruits for the top ranks in Whitehall from a group which has hosted numerous extremists and terrorist supporters, including the al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was linked to a number of international plots before his death last year.

One of this blog’s oldest friends, Azad Ali, has a great new post. As the Harry’s Place blog reports, Azad is the new vice-chair of Unite Against Fascism, the ostensibly anti-racist group (in fact more of a meal-ticket for the leadership of the Socialist Workers’ Party.)
Azad is the community affairs co-ordinator of the extremist Islamic Forum of Europe, which controls the East London Mosque and which is dedicated, in its own words, to changing the “very infrastructure of society, its institutions, its culture, its political order and its creed … from ignorance to Islam.” Through “hisbah” (the enforcement of Islamic law) and “jihad,” it aims to create a “global” Islamic dictatorship, the caliphate, and its “primary work” in this “is in Europe, because it is this continent, despite all the furore about its achievements, which has a moral and spiritual vacuum.”

US Muslim judge demands to know why a person had a certain Halloween costume.
This is outrageous. The judge asks questions which are way way outside the issues at stake and even the law. It doesn’t matter why he wore any costume at all. The USA last I checked (granted that was several weeks ago) is a free country and people are allowed to dress up how they want.

Please take the time to read this very important story written by a courageous Egyptian liberal intellectual about the Islamist and Muslim Brotherhood lobbies in Washington and the Obama Administration’s secret collaboration with these pro-terrorist, anti-Western, anti-women, anti-American and anti-Semitic organizations. This is one of the most important articles I have read in years.
It was just revealed two days ago that FBI Director Mueller secretly met on February 8 at FBI headquarters with a coalition of groups including various Islamist and militant Arabic groups who in the past have defended Hamas and Hizballah and have also issued blatantly anti-Semitic statements. At this meeting, the FBI revealed that it had removed more than 1000 presentations and curricula on Islam from FBI offices around the country that was deemed “offensive.” The FBI did not reveal what criteria was used to determine why material was considered “offensive” but knowledgeable law enforcement sources have told the IPT that it was these radical groups who made that determination. Moreover, numerous FBI agents have confirmed that from now on, FBI headquarters has banned all FBI offices from inviting any counter-terrorist specialists who are considered “anti-Islam” by Muslim Brotherhood front groups.
The February 8 FBI meeting was the culmination of a series of unpublicized directives issued in the last three months by top FBI officials to all its field offices to immediately recall and withdraw any presentation or curricula on Islam throughout the entire FBI. In fact, according to informed sources and undisclosed documents, the FBI directive was instigated by radical Muslim groups in the US who had repeatedly met with top officials of the Obama Administration to complain, among other things, that the mere usage of the term of “radical Islam” in FBI curricula was “offensive” and ‘racist.” And thus, directives went out by Attorney General Eric Holder and FBI Director Mueller to censor all such material. Included in the material destroyed or removed by the FBI and the DOJ were powerpoints and articles that defined jihad as “holy war” or presentations that portrayed the Muslim Brotherhood as an organization bent on taking over the world—a major tenant that the Muslim Brotherhood has publicly stated for decades.
During the next several months, the IPT will be releasing a series of major investigative reports revealing the secret infiltration by and collaboration with radical Islamic organizations by the Obama administration that has spread to the National Security Council, the Dept of Justice, the FBI, the Dept of Homeland Security, the CIA and the State Department as well as local law enforcement.

TORONTO — A newly released intelligence report warns that teenagers are being exposed to Islamist extremism in Canadian high schools.
In an Intelligence Assessment, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service says that in two recent cases, suspects charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act “appear to have been radicalized in part while attending Canadian secondary school institutions.”

As a school board trustee, I have a bird’s-eye view of our schools, or at least I thought I did until this week when a motion requesting a simple report on school religious practices failed. This past year, there has been controversy over a practice in Toronto’s Valley Park Middle School, which allowed religious services led by an imam during the school day. In Ottawa, there has been no such controversy but I know of at least three schools where this is standard practice, Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School, Bell High School and Brookfield High School. I suspect there are more.

When we allow a minister, rabbi or imam into our schools to conduct religious services during the school day, we bring in the thin edge of a wedge. Other religions rightfully ask to hold religious services in our secular schools and this is precisely what happened at Toronto’s Valley Park Middle School. We may also find it increasingly difficult to say no to future requests for religious-based schools housed under the public board’s umbrella. If and when this comes to pass, say goodbye to the greatness of our secular public schools as parents flock to ensure that their children’s religious training is met during the school day.
