Canada: Pro-Palestinian protesters occupy York University campus in Toronto

Dozens of students at Toronto’s York University held an anti-Israeli protest inside the university campus on Wednesday, as former Israeli soldiers were set to speak to students on their experiences in the army, reports say.

The activists were seen waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans.

According to reports, a Holocaust-denying newspaper editor Nazih Khatatba also took part in the demonstrations

Toronto Police and private security agents were deployed on the spot to keep control of the situation.

When selective enforcement is always one direction, it needs a new name.

The best candidates I can think of is Marcuse’s “Repressive Tolerance”, or possibly, “aufheben der Kultur”. Although one may just be an expression of the other.

In any case, there will be no Human Rights Commissions against this guy for this, or I am told, for any of his numerous past ‘hate crimes’ speeches.

If this gets enough publicity, like the imam at the Toronto Masjid, they will fight it with BS in the Toronto Star, or hide the guy till it blows over. But if one of us was to use his language about Islam or muslims, and even with fourth worthy evidence that it was true, then we know what would happen to us.

And this little segment of a speech shows that our law and order society has indeed been successfully over ran by Marxist thought and methods.

Sheikh Younus Kathrada is a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia.

He has been involved in grassroots dawah with the Muslim community of Canada, and of BC in particular, for the last 20 years.

He has presented many topics on Islaam at Universities in BC and Alberta for Islaam Awareness Week, and also presents “Introduction to Islam” courses for high school and middle school students.

He was previously Imam and founder of Masjid Al-Iman in Victoria BC as well as the Imam of an Islamic centre in Vancouver.

He then returned to Victoria and was the founder and teacher of Al Madinah Academy in Victoria, B.C, as well as the acting Imam of the Masjid there.

He then moved to Malaysia where he was a teacher and then Principal of Al-Tamimi International Islamic School in Subang Jaya for almost 7 years.

While in Malaysia he continued to give talks at various universities and Masaajid.

He moved back to Victoria in 2016 and is currently the Imam of the Dar Al-Ihsan Islamic Center.

This is very good. The only thing that could have been added to his point, would be how our government at one point arbitrarily converted Canada to the Metric system, despite all our trade being with the USA, and everyone knowing the imperial system, and actually criminalizing use of the old system in commerce. Yes, you could go to jail for selling gas in gallons or milk in quarts until Joe Clark’s Freedom to Measure bill. But by then the damage had been done. Trudeau senior had managed to show us that our culture and history could be negated with the stroke of his commie pen. And that was the real purpose of imposing a foreign system of weights and measures that would cost us a fortune in term of dealing with US imports and exports.

Makes one think about bilingualism a little doesn’t it?

The young woman was in the parking lot adjacent to the apartment building where she lives on Arago Street West in Quebec City’s Saint-Sauveur neighbourhood on Friday night when her ex-husband allegedly doused her in gasoline before setting her on fire.

“I’m traumatized. My daughter is in the hospital, 50% burnt, my wife and my daughter’s children are at home, alone… I don’t know what to do,” said the grandfather, Abdeljalil Haj Amor, who was contacted by Le Journal in Tunisia.

‘CRIES OF DEATH’: Man arrested after his ex-wife was set on fire in Quebec City, police say

QUEBEC — A man has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault after his ex-wife was allegedly set on fire in Quebec City, local police said Saturday.

 

The 39-year-old man was taken into custody by Quebec provincial police on Saturday at a fast food restaurant in Drummondville, Que., about 110 kilometres east of Montreal, police said.

 

Sgt. Etienne Doyon of the Quebec City police told reporters that the 27-year-old victim was in critical condition after suffering major injuries to her face, back and hands.

The woman’s young children and mother watched as she was allegedly set ablaze just before 9 p.m. in Quebec City’s St-Sauveur neighbourhood, said Doyon. […]

 

“Her hair was on fire, she was like a human torch,” said Allard. “Her long hair was scorched, you could only smell gasoline.”

Blind dog Vs. (probably) Muslims in BC Canada

A blind man with a guide dog is taking a gas station to court over refusal to allow in his guide dog.

The Human Rights Commissions is of course, a Marxist organization that uses politically correct poker to decide who wins any given case, where muslims are pretty much a royal flush. And we are guessing that the gas station is owned and operated by muslims, which is typically why businesses run into problems with guide dogs.

A white blind man with a dog doesn’t stand a chance against muslims who just hate dogs on a scriptural basis but can pretend its about a health code, even though guide dogs are exempt. So for those taking bets, do not bet on the blind man.

We have seen this often on busses and other islamic operations where they refuse to take dogs or liquor etc. Sharia uber alles but usually by another name. Insultingly, that name is ‘human rights’.

Muslim Calls to Ban Dogs in EU Cities Indicate Colonisation of West, Author Says

Maybe this will convince a few of the deaf-semi-left that islam isn’t such a great idea for the West after all. Nothing like a few million angry dog-moms to change policy.

According to a report by The Stream’s John Zmirak, as Muslims are increasingly moving to traditionally non-Islamic countries, there have been calls to bring and entrench at least some of their cultural norms, including their aversion to dogs.

‘Weird Anomaly’ as ‘Sign of the Times’

In one of his latest reports, John Zmirak, a social and business writer, as well as a senior editor at The Stream, has cited a number of flyers that were circulated in Hoffman Park in Vancouver, asking dog owners to keep their “filthy” pets on leashes due to “Many Muslims living in the area”.

 

“Please keep your dogs on a leash and away from the Muslims who live in this community”, CTV Vancouver quoted the flyers as reading back in 2017. Mayor John Becker then notably came up with a vague reaction: while arguing that the notices had not been produced by the city, he said that there were “current bylaws in place that enforce areas for dogs to be on leash, except in designated off-leash areas”.

 

Zmirak went still further, citing another “weird, hyper-polite anomaly”, as Muslim politicians in the Netherlands, which has also seen a vast influx of immigrants over the past few years, had attempted to ban dogs from The Hague, the third biggest city in the country. In Spain, the author went on, local politicians managed to reject such a ban; however, by a twist of fate, a dog-poisoning spree followed closely.

This site has been tracking dog poisonings in parks in Canada near mosques for some time now.
