Watch real racists squirm

Oh man this is fun. College racists when asked if they support the exact same program that advantages non-whites in every sphere of life, ineffectively weasel their way out of supporting the same policy when merit actually creates a disproportionate number of non-whites as dominant in the field. This is quite satisfying to watch. Actual racists caught in the act and being oh so gentile trying to pretend to be otherwise.

Handcuffs and Jackboots Await an Independent Flanders

Vlaams Belang: An independent Flanders #1
Long-time readers will remember a notorious incident on September 11th, 2007, in Schuman Square in Brussels. On that occasion, leaders of the Flemish independence party Vlaams Belang were assaulted, knocked to the ground, surrounded by jack-booted police, handcuffed, and taken away to jail.

Their crime? Peacefully protesting the Islamization of Flanders.

The jackboots, handcuffs, and paddy wagons were back in force again today in Brussels, almost four years later. This time the leaders of Vlaams Belang were chased down and arrested for putting up street signs declaring an independent Flanders.

The article below is from Svenska Dagbladet. Many thanks to Reinhard of ICLA for the translation:

The entire party leadership and about twenty elected politicians belonging to the Flemish right wing extremist and separatist party Vlaams Belang were arrested by Belgian police Tuesday, when they declared Flemish independence and renamed the street outside the Parliament Building “Flemish Independence Street”.

Vlaams Belang: An independent Flanders #2
The stunt had been announced on the first anniversary of Belgium’s last national election. Since the 13th of June last year the country has been without a government, since the parties have been unable to decide on who would form a government or what direction should be taken by a coalition government consisting of the winners in the different parts of the country.

Vlaams Belang: An independent Flanders #3
Two road signs on the street Rue de la Loi (“Street of the Law”) outside the building where the caretaker prime minister Yves Leterme has his offices, Leterme himself being Flemish, were covered and replaced by the sign “Vlaamse onhanfhankelijkheidsstraat” (“Flemish Independence Street”) and “Republiek Vlaanderenstraat” (Flemish Republic Street”). Yes, he was screaming ‘Allahu Ackbar” as he tried to force his way into the cockpit.

But why does the mass media, the people who have a responsibility to inform us of important facts we need to know to make good decisions and keep ourselves safe, why did they delete that information?

One news report actually did say he was yelling something but clearly deliberately did not say what he was yelling, which was Allah hu Ackbar according to all the actual eye witnesses not told not to report that apparently.

Thanks Infidels United for the tip on this one

Victims say that officers in the borough of Tower Hamlets have ignored or downplayed outbreaks of hate crime, and suppressed evidence implicating Muslims in them, because they fear being accused of racism.

The claims come as four Tower Hamlets Muslims were jailed for at least 19 years for attacking a local white teacher who gave religious studies lessons to Muslim girls.

The Sunday Telegraph has uncovered more than a dozen other cases in Tower Hamlets where both Muslims and non-Muslims have been threatened or beaten for behaviour deemed to breach fundamentalist “Islamic norms.”

One victim, Mohammed Monzur Rahman, said he was left partially blind and with a dislocated shoulder after being attacked by a mob in Cannon Street Road, Shadwell, for smoking during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan last year.

“Two guys stopped me in the street and asked me why I was smoking,” he said. “I just carried on, and before I knew another dozen guys came and jumped me. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in hospital.” Continue Reading →

Sham Policy To Address Islamism Exposed By The English Defence League

From The EDL website:

Published on 10-06-2011 08:55  Number of Views: 14

Tommy Robinson, Leader of the English Defence League (EDL), has exposed David Cameron’s apparent ‘get tough’ policy towards Islamism as a complete sham. People can now see the real approach of the Conservative led regime with regard to defending the British people against the Islamist threat.

We have heard much talk recently about how the Conservatives will be getting tough on Islamic extremism in Britain. Many people in Britain were heartened by David Cameron’s recent tough and realistic rhetoric on the subject, but an article recently posted on the Daily Mail website indicates a marked shift in Government and Conservative Party policy on this matter. Far from being serious about dealing with the problem of Islamism in Britain, the Conservative Party seems to be adopting the failed and hugely damaging policy of the previous Labour Government. Can the Conservative Party ever be trusted to deal with Islamism and the serious threat that it poses to our national security and democratic way of life? Perhaps their ‘hard line’ has been vetoed by the Lib Dems?

The political climb-down on dealing with Islamism rigorously and realistically has been exposed as nothing more than sham political window dressing. The policy reversal came shortly after EDL leader, Tommy Robinson, put the Home Secretary Theresa May on the spot and asked her some very direct and pertinent questions on the subject. It seems that Channel 4 television cameras recorded Mr Robinson entering and leaving the meeting which meant that the Home Secretary could not deny the exchange of views with the EDL leader. Fearing a propaganda coup by the EDL the Conservative Party has appeared to have fallen back into its usual ‘tree-hugger’ mode.

At least the initiative of Mr Robinson has exposed David Cameron’s rhetoric for what it is – words and not deeds. It would appear that he has no intention what-so-ever of dealing with the Islamist threat to our democracy. It seems likely, therefore, that the well established and disastrous policy of appeasement will continue into the future. Continue Reading →

Egypt’s Christians Fear Violence as Changes Embolden Islamists

The New York Times has noticed. Interesting. The MSM is catching up to the blogosphere it seems. At least in terms of Egypt.Albeit to a limited degree.

Coptic Christians, many of whom have felt less secure since Egypt’s dictator stepped down, held a sit-in May 19 in Cairo.

CAIRO — The headline screamed from a venerable liberal newspaper: Coptic Christians had abducted a young Muslim and tattooed her with a cross. “Copts kidnap Raghada!”

Ed Ou for The New York Times

Many Coptic Christians are concerned about persecution or the loss of rights under a predominantly Muslim government.

“They tied me up with ropes, beat me with shoes, shaved my hair,” Raghada Salem Abdel Fattah, 19, declared, “and forced me to read Christian psalms!”

Like many similar stories proliferating here since the revolution, Ms. Abdel Fattah’s kidnapping could not be confirmed. But for members of Egypt’s Coptic Christian minority, the sensational headline — from a respected publisher, no less — served to validate their fear that the Egyptian revolution had made their country less tolerant and more dangerous for religious minorities. The Arab Spring initially appeared to open a welcoming door to the dwindling number of Christian Arabs who, after years of feeling marginalized, eagerly joined the call for democracy and rule of law. But now many Christians here say they fear that the fall of the police state has allowed long-simmering tensions to explode, potentially threatening the character of Egypt, and the region.

“Will Christians have equal rights and full citizenship or not?” asked Sarkis Naoum, a Christian commentator in Beirut, Lebanon. A surge of sectarian violence in Cairo — 24 dead, more than 200 wounded and three churches in flames since President Hosni Mubarak’s downfall — has turned Christian-Muslim tensions into one of the gravest threats to the revolution’s stability. But it is also a pivotal test of Egypt’s tolerance, pluralism and the rule of law. The revolution has empowered the majority but also opened new questions about the protection of minority rights like freedom of religion or expression as Islamist groups step forward to lay out their agendas and test their political might.

Around the region, Christians are also closely watching events in Syria, where as in Egypt Christians and other minorities received the protection of a secular dictator, Bashar al-Assad, now facing his own popular uprising.

“The Copts are the crucial test case,” said Heba Morayef, a researcher with Human Rights Watch here, adding that facing off against “societal pressures” may in some ways be ever harder than criticizing a dictator. “It is the next big battle.” Continue Reading →

Geert Wilders closing remarks in his political trial.

Here are Geert Wilders final statements in his seemingly never ending show trial for hate speech in the Netherlands. There is one small error in the translation near the end. Where the titles read:

“Do not let that source go dry just to cozy up to a totalitarian regime. “Freedom,” said the American President Dwight Eisenhower, “has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed – else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.”

The title should read ideology, not regime.

The transcription is below the fold for those who prefer to read it.

This commission must go

By John Martin, The Times May 31, 2011

It’s time to once again set our sights on the country’s human rights commissions. A few years ago this was one of the most controversial issues in the country. The Canadian Human Rights Commission, and its provincial counterparts, were under intense scrutiny for their reckless attempts to impose censorship and exhibiting a horrifying disregard for due process.

Created many decades ago to address discrimination toward those seeking employment or housing, these commissions soon found themselves with little work on their hands as there just didn’t seem to be enough discrimination out there to keep thousands of politically correct bureaucrats and appointees busy.

So they started seeking out other witches. Magazine publishers, stand up comedians, website operators–soon none of us were free from the over-reaching clutches of the human rights industry.

But the tables turned and soon their activities and ludicrous rulings dominated the headlines. Parliament, the Privacy Commissioner and even the RCMP investigated them. Employees of these commissions have been accused of being members in several online hate groups and routinely posting racist messages to see what type of mischief they could rouse up. And then, of course, come to the rescue and bust the owner of the domain.

Racial attack after the Blackpool Demo, victim white, police not bothered.

Facebook shows its own two faces.

This is very disturbing. It would appear that Facebook is basically deciding what political groups can use facebook and which ones cannot. I have always distrusted facebook for my own reasons but this is far worse than I would have thought it to be. If anyone has an active political group or indeed a group of any kind on facebook, and I direct this at Coptic groups especially, download your full member contact info, make sure your subscribers send you their real world contact info such as non-facebook email etc. (This all goes for youtube as well) Get your own webpages and operate off of those. Facebook is attempting to determine what can use its social networking and what cannot and so far the list on both sides I find disturbing.

Bell Canada uses CRTC proceedure to cheat Canadians of alternate voices

This story is complex and subtle, especially if you do not live in Canada.

Here in the true north strong and… OK we are neither strong or free, but here’s hoping, we have an agency called the CRTC which grants licences on Frequencies, itself a preposterous notion as there is no limit to available Hz. Now with this power, and the fact that the CRTC mandates what all Canadians HAVE to get with a cable package, that the CBC, a fairly biased left wing opinion manufacturing machine to the tune of 1.1 BILLION dollars a year, (yes a Carl Sagan Billion with a capitol B) of government money and various other networks all of whom are dependant in one way or another on their relationship with government, either through direct funding like the aforementioned CBC, or through regulations which guarantee market share like the CTV.

The new non-leftist and conservative friendly SUN Media TV network has now been dropped by Bell, one of Canada’s largest cable suppliers and that is because they are refusing to pay SUN for the signal. Meanwhile, other networks have to be provided through Bell by law.

Here is Ezra Levant on this matter.

The NDP know how to have a good time.

I will credit Jack with one thing. Well probably he uses cash for this not credit. But still, the media hypocricy on this is truly disgusting. Criminal actually. There should be a law against this kind of media selective bias.

Maybe I should have made the headline, “Stephen Harper busted with Asian prostitute’ and linked to the real story about Jack Layton. That would amuse me but I don’t like being misleading.
