Gavin Boby of Law and Freedom Foundation speaks in Brussels at the ICLA conference July 9 2012

It is with great pleasure that I post this video of Gavin Boby. This man is a hero. He has accomplished a great deal in the short time since he had the idea to use the law in the fight against the destruction of Western Liberal Democracy by Islam and their useful idiots on the political left. His approach is unique but I think will spread.

Slouching Towards Brussels Redux

Gates of Vienna:

Counterjihad Brussels 2012 (large)

Tell me again about Europe and her pains,
Who’s tortured by the drought, who by the rains.
Glut me with floods where only the swine can row
Who cuts his throat and let him count his gains.
It seemed the best thing to be up and go.

— William Empson, from “Aubade”

The first leg of my flight to Europe last week was a short hop from Dulles to Philadelphia, where I had to endure a five-hour layover before continuing on to Brussels.

Despite all their glitz and hype, airports are not much fun to hang out in for any extended period of time, and Philly is no exception. You can walk for miles through the terminals searching in vain for something interesting to do. You can look at the duty-free booze, or shop for expensive jewelry, or buy a football jersey, or squint at the cover of Rolling Stone in Hudson News, or partake of high-carb delicacies in “Breads ’n’ More”, the generic airport eatery.

I was fortunate enough to find a decent restaurant, one where I could actually sit down and order good food from a waitress. I told the hostess as she ushered me to my table that I was in for a five-hour layover, and she asked me where I was heading.

“Brussels,” I replied.

“Where’s that?” she asked.

“Belgium,” I said. “Actually, it’s the capital of Belgium.”

I wanted to add that it was also the capital of the European Union, but I had a premonition that she would also never have heard of the EU, and I really didn’t want to discover such an appalling fact about this well-dressed, well-spoken young lady. Whether in her ignorance she is representative of her larger American cohort I cannot say.

Counterjihad Brussels Redux

I had the good fortune to spend three full days in Brussels. The first one, Saturday July 7, was what I call “jet lag day”, a 24-hour period of disorientation and stupor during which normal functioning tends to be difficult.

Brussels: St. Catherine's ChurchBy Sunday July 8 I was ready for action again. Most of our leadership group was staying in hotels near St. Catherine’s Church, which is not as much of a tourist zone as the area around the Great Market.

The Brussels conference was the following day, so the leadership group — actually a variety of leaders from overlapping Counterjihad networks across Europe — took the opportunity presented by their early arrival, and convened informally that afternoon and evening in various watering holes near St. Catherine’s to discuss issues of common interest to the anti-sharia resistance.

Since most of the people there were involved in the following day’s conference in the European Parliament, much of the talk revolved around the planning for that event.

There were, however, other topics on the agenda. They included:

  • The expansion of repression (both official and informal) in Europe, Canada, and the United States against critics of sharia and Islamization
  • The formation of new political parties and coalitions, and the redirection of existing parties, to concentrate on resisting the encroachment of sharia
  • Planned legislative initiatives in various countries that aim to reaffirm the commitment to individual freedoms specified in our constitutions, which all contradict the tenets of Islamic law
  • Strategies for dealing with official resistance to the attempts of individuals and groups to reassert their fundamental rights under their constitutions (or, in the case of Britain, under the English Common Law)
  • Practical methods for coordinating our collective resistance to sharia, both internationally and among different groups within a given country

The more general discussion focused on the crackdowns against free speech that are now underway in most European countries. I was already familiar with oppressive conditions in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Britain, but had not realized how dire the situation is in France, and — to a somewhat lesser extent — in Germany and Switzerland.

When we convened in Brussels five years ago, there had been virtually no prosecutions of Islam-critics in Europe. Since then there have been dozens, and possibly even hundreds, if all the “religiously aggravated public order offences” in Britain are taken into account. The repression is huge, it is ongoing, and it is accelerating.

On that ominous note, we adjourned for the night. The next day we were to take up the same themes in more detail at the European Parliament.

The Brussels Process (large)

The Brussels Process

On Monday July 9, a much larger group (over a hundred people) gathered in an auditorium of the European Parliament to discuss free speech, civil liberties, the OIC, and what has become known as the “Istanbul Process”.

The Brussels Process: for free speech and civil liberties

Durotrigan:

As a rule of thumb, anything political with “Brussels” in the title sets alarm bells ringing, and in the culinary world, mention of the word “Brussels” together with “sprouts” can cause near panic in some for entirely different reasons. However, on this occasion, something positive took place in Brussels this week which brought together a group of like-minded people from across Europe, and some from beyond, to initiate what they term the “Brussels Process”, which is defined on the Gates of Vienna blog as “a continuing series of events that will strengthen free speech and civil liberties in the West, and provide an alternative to the notorious “Istanbul Process”.” The occasion for its launch was provided by the International Conference for Free Speech and Human Rights, initiated by the International Civil Liberties Alliance and hosted at the EU Parliament with the co-sponsorship of two MEPs: Philip Claeys (Vlaams Belang, Belgium) and Magdi Allam (UDC, Italy). The ICLA press release states:

On 9 July, the International Civil Liberties Alliance presented an International Human Rights and Freedom of Speech Conference in the European Parliament in Brussels. Over 100 people from numerous, countries, cultures, and backgrounds took part in this milestone event at which Lars Hedegaard of the Danish Free Press Society received the “Defender of Freedom” award.

EDL in Bristol: Group expects trouble from ‘idiotic communist types’

Bristol247:

The English Defence League has attacked the Labour Party for supporting “rent-a-mobs” in advance of the group’s march in Bristol tomorrow

The English Defence League (EDL) has attacked the Labour Party for supporting “rent-a-mobs” in advance of the group’s march in Bristol tomorrow.

A spokesman for the EDL told Bristol24-7 the group was expecting trouble from “idiotic communist types” who wanted to provoke a violent confrontation.

But in responding to the condemnation from Bristol’s two Labour MPs and the party’s candidate for mayor yesterday, the spokesman said Labour has “sold out its English constituents”, adding the group had no interest in what the party said.

Barriers are already in place for the EDL march yesterday, which will begin at Redcliffe Wharf before ending in Queen Square.

Up to 1,000 police officers are due to take to the streets to prevent a confrontation between the EDL and a counter-demonstration of anti-fascist groups, unions and community organisations.

Hans Jansen on sharia law, human rights Vs. Islamic ones, and why it is critical that we fight.

Last weekend a truly historical conference took place in Belgium. A conference where some of the worlds most knowledgable people on this moment of history gathered to try and establish a bulwark against the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s attempt to legislate Western nations’ established law enforcement agencies to swap out freedom of speech and genuine individual liberties, and replace them with, and enforce sharia based ones.

I will be posting some rather massive and clear evidence on this hopefully later on today or tonight. For the moment, I will post some of the speeches given by those who understand the threat and the methodology of the OIC, very possibly the defacto face of a resurfaced Caliphate, and its bed partner, the Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood.)

To start with, Prof. Hans Jansen. Those of you who followed the Geert Wilders trial may already be aware of him. He was one of the very few people that the Dutch Crown would allow to submit testimony (but not appear physically in court) for the defence.

That testimony, read by the judge as no actual witnesses were allowed to appear for Geert, is here.

Terror police are ‘clearing the decks’ before Olympics with series of arrests, claims QC

  • David Anderson says security services are intervening before London 2012 to avoid another 7/7 or 9/11

Arrests: Expert David Anderson QC has said that police are acting earlier to 'clear the decks' of potential terrorists before London 2012Arrests: Expert David Anderson QC, pictured, has said that police are acting earlier to ‘clear the decks’ of potential terrorists before London 2012

Police are trying to arrest as many suspected terrorists as possible to ‘clear the decks’ before the Olympics, one of Britain’s top QCs said today.

David Anderson, the UK’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, says the security services are ‘defending further up the field’ to avoid any 7/7 or 9/11-style attacks when London hosts the Games later this month.

‘What one may be seeing as the Olympics approach is a willingness to try and clear the decks in some respects,’ Mr Anderson told BBC Radio 4’s Broadcasting House programme.

‘We’re a long way from zero risk, we probably always will be, but the police are getting to hear about things long before they used to and I think that gives them choices which perhaps they didn’t have before.

‘Do they let things run, just keeping an eye on it, picking up evidence with a view to a criminal prosecution? Or do they move in earlier to disrupt it?

‘The Olympics are potentially a major target and you are seeing the police, perhaps in a marginal case what they might do is decide to intervene a little bit earlier.’

Some 14 suspected terrorists were arrested last week, but he added: ‘We shouldn’t lose sight of the big picture, which is that things were a good deal worse six or seven years ago than they are now.’

“Get out of my taxi and look for a camel to carry you”

Digital Alert

Translation: Hermes

A taxi in Madrid told the following to a muslim woman who told him to switch off the western music “Get out of my taxi and look for a camel to carry you”

Creativity against intolerance. And if they don’t like us, let them go away, because we did not tell them to come. This is what Diego, a taxi from Madrid must have thought. He has been denounced for a certain thing which happened last weekend, and which we now tell to the readers of DA.

A woman wearing muslim garments took in Toledo street / Madrid a taxi which was being driven by Diego. Once inside the taxi, the muslim woman told the cabbie to switch off the radio, telling him that due to the rules followed by her, she was not allowed to listed to western music.

“In times of the prophet there was no such music, and neither did radio exist” ,the muslim woman complained, “Western music is that of the infidels, and I am not allowed to listen to it”.

Although the taxi gave way to the requirements of the mohammed-following woman, and switched off the radio, he stopped at the next traffic lamp, went out of the car, and opened the rear passenger door, where his client was sitting. Astonished as she was, she asked the taxi about the reasons for his sudden stop.

“Look, Ma’am, in times of the prophet there were no taxis, so please, get out of mine and look for a camel to carry you to where you want to go”, this great taxi answered her. He will now have to face a dressing down for not having given the proper service to his client (sic).

Alerta Digital will make available for him the services of our legal team in Madrid.

Germany: Extremist content – Interior minister made to close down salafist websites

Extremist content – Interior minister made to close down salafist websites

The german interior minister has in the last few days forced the closure of two islamist webpages from the Internet. The platforms represented  the salafist groups, made already in illegal in June. But the deletion process proved to be more complicated than at first thought.

Following the illegalization of the radical salafist group “Millatu Ibrahim” on the 14th of June, the websites millatu-ibrahim.com and salafimedia.de, also belonging to this group, were also closed down. This is what the newspaper “Welt am Sonntag” reported, citing a spokesperson from the ministry.
“The websites served as platforms for jihadi propaganda. Videos and audios from salafist preachers and documents with extremist content were offered for downloading. As an example, an article from Salafimedia had the following title: “join to receive the heritage of paradise”, and a predication had this title: “Faith demands sacrifice””.
The process of deletion was complicated

In June 14, and after a decision taken by the German Federal Interior Ministry, raids took place against the illegal groups “Millatu Ibrahim”, “Die Wahre Religion” (The True Religion) and DawaFFM. During this raids, the homes of followers of these groups were searched, a community mosque was closed in Solingen, and PC-s, hard-disks and documents were confiscated.

The closing down of the websites belonging to “Millatu Ibrahim” took its time, according to informations from “Welt am Sonntag”, because the provider of the sites had to be contacted and called on to delete them. This proved to be somewhat complicated, the investigator said to “Welt am Sonntag”, because the islamist websites are frequently powered from abroad.

Blitz on child sex grooming gangs to be announced after No 10 shocked by ‘heartbreaking’ stories of abuse

My guess is Cameron is taking another end run at the EDL.

Action to tackle child sexual exploitation will be announced this week after No?10 was shocked by ‘heartbreaking’ stories of abuse.

The move follows the conviction of nine Asian men for systematically raping and abusing underage girls in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, and claims by a Government expert that abuse was taking place ‘all over the country’.

On Tuesday, Ministers will launch an urgent review of the quality of care provided in children’s homes – which were at the heart of the Rochdale scandal –  and publish a progress report on an ‘action plan’ designed to tackle child exploitation.

In May, nine men were jailed for a total of 77 years after a court heard that they had plied girls as young as 13 with drink and drugs before carrying out acts of abuse.

Many of the girls, who all came from deprived family backgrounds, had been in the care of the local authority.
