English Defence League coach attacked in east London

A number of police vans escorted replacement bus, a BBC reporter said

A coach full of English Defence League supporters was pelted with missiles after it broke down in east London.

The coach was carrying 44 EDL members when it stopped in Mile End Road, Tower Hamlets.

About 100 Asian teenagers then pelted it with bricks and stones, according to a BBC reporter at the scene.

Police arrested all 44 EDL supporters, who were travelling from a protest in Aldgate earlier on Saturday. A double decker bus was used to evacuate them.

Police said there had already been one altercation with local youths after the vehicle stopped in Whitechapel Road and some passengers got off the coach.

They got back on board and the coach pulled away – but it later suffered a failure and ground to a halt.

BBC reporter Paraic O’ Brien, who was on the scene, said nearly 100 local teenagers then attacked it with missiles.

He said the police were on the scene extremely quickly.

‘Extremely tense’

The reporter said within a short space of time there were a number of riot vans and 200 police officers in the vicinity.

O’Brien said: “It was extremely tense and if that number of officers had not arrived it could have gone the other way and become a major incident.” Continue Reading →

Opposition to the EDL is, as usual, based on illusion and slight of hand.

It is impressive to see, at least where media covers it, the opposition to the EDL. Lots of self named, ‘Anti-Fascists’ and Muslims standing united (for the moment) against the British right to English law in England. But are these really local people in these areas standing up in front of their homes to express their contempt for the EDL and say how much in fact they really like the new middle eastern and Pakistani culture that has been imposed on them? Or is there more to this story than meets the eye?

A huge police presence for an event not worthy of reportage on any major TV in the UK

As one of Vlad’s best tipsters in the UK points out, there was a massive massive police presence and no shortage of selective enforcement of the law, and even, from what I have been hearing, new laws being invented just to selectively enforce against the EDL, there seems to be a hell of a lot of cops for an event that is not on SKY news or the BBC today.

Interesting. Clearly the British government is using totalitarian measures (where totalitarianism means controlling the press, controlling what ideas are acceptable and which not and taking over aspects of life best not under the control of Government in a free society) and expanding those measures as well as increasing the frequency of their use.

Interesting how quickly a government which is a the mother of all parliaments can get comfortable with the very measures they fought against during the cold war for decades. The price of freedom truly is eternal vigilance and, I’m sorry to say, that the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots from time to time. How do I know this? Because I am willing to bet those last two statements are probably illegal or at least will have me put on a list for republishing here.

There seems to be some kind of youtube manipulation that is causing it to be difficult to impossible to find any EDL related videos that are newer than 16 hours old. This seems to be part of an overall media blackout (other than anti-EDL propaganda such as in the Daily Mail) that the Cameron government is deploying. Once again, showing that England leads the way in ‘stealth totalitarianism’

Interview with EDL’s Matthew Stiddon

Last night I got what I had been waiting weeks and weeks for. A chance to interview Martin Brennan, former British soldier who has done tours in Afghanistan, and who left Europe because of the state he found it in when he returned to start a brick laying business in Australia, only to be confronted with the same issues of Islam and Western liberal democracy. He was deported from Oz on trumped up immigration charges (pay no attention to the leftists behind the curtain) and sent back to England after years away, and all his bank accounts are still frozen by the Australian government with no trial etc. but several weeks detention in jail.

The audio quality was exceptionally poor over skype however and I will have to do a transcription of this interview and subtitle it before it can be understood and appreciated for how important a story this actually is.

Eventually we figured out a way to make the audio decent at least using skype for video and a ‘mobi’ for the audio. Below, please see the interview I did with his friend, EDL’s Matthew Stiddon who has had his car “torched to a cinder” for openly opposing Islamification of his country, and predictably, not by Muslims but by the fascist, ‘Anti-Fascists’. Go figure.

POTENTIAL recruits to the English Defence League are being identified under a programme set up to track terrorists after the 7/7 attacks.

 Counter-terrorism programme Channel has concentrated in the past on Islamic extremism, but now the scheme has been widened to take account of the rise in right-wing extremism, much to the anger of the EDL. The move follows the killing of 76 people in Norway by Anders Breivik after he was said to have been motivated by extreme right-wing ideologies.

Parents, teachers, community leaders and police officers are referring children and young adults who they feel may be at risk of being radicalised by groups such as the EDL and Combat 18.

Police in Lancashire have received a number of referrals following 12 arrests at an EDL demo and counter-protest in Blackburn in April.

Yet an EDL source said: “This is outrageous. All we do is voice the concerns of ordinary people who are fed up with the way politicians have let us down. How can we be seen in the same light as potential terrorists?”

 

The racist CBC continues its brazen, baseless attack on any group it doesn’t like with the usual PC ammo

I confess I haven’t managed to get all the way through this article. The CBC calls the EDL a “racist Organization” without even feeling the slightest need for actual evidence and that, in an article dealing with Islamic terror in the UK. Stunning. I wonder, if every time I referred to the racist CBC as the racist CBC, you know, because of thier demonstrable bias against the one Jewish state on earth, Israel, while utterly failing to discuss the incredible and genuine apartheid of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and another dozen islamic states I wonder if the racist CBC would, you know, sue me or try and silence me in some way. I think its time I found out. I think its time a few of us reffered to the racist CBC as the racist CBC. I mean as they have no compunction whatsoever to refer to the EDL as anything other than the racist EDL without even bothering to give evidence of it.

By the way, I will be posting a little less in the next few weeks. I will be making a short documentary on the grotesque bias of the CBC with a few dozen of their own clips which should allow even the most scrupulous of wordsmiths to have no hesitation to add the adjective, ‘racist’ before the term CBC. I look forward to broadcasting it.

 

English Defence League link is dismissed as a red herring

As further details emerged of the connections between Anders Behring Breivik and the English Defence League (EDL), the group’s founder warned last night that a similar attack could take place in Britain.

The group strenuously denies any knowledge of Breivik, and has unreservedly condemned the murders, but a number of members of the anti-Islamic organisation claimed he joined a rally in London last year. The anti-fascist group Searchlight is preparing to release further information today about the killer’s links with the EDL.

The allegations surfaced as police and security services began urgently examining the activities of far-right organisations following Breivik’s claims to have met like-minded extremists in London. Security sources said that was no immediate evidence backing up his claims he had a support network that extended to Britain – and there is little history of links between British and Norwegian neo-Nazis.

The EDL was the organisation mentioned most often by Breivik in the 1,500-page personal “manifesto” he posted online before embarking on his killing spree. Stephen Lennon, its leader, said he did not believe the Norwegian had ever marched alongside EDL activists. EDL organiser Daryl Hobson wrote in an online posting: “He had about 150 EDL on his list … bar one or two doubt the rest of us ever met him, altho [sic] he did come over for one of our demo [sic] in 2010 … but what he did was wrong. RIP to all who died as a result of his actions.”

However, a senior member said he understood Breivik had met EDL leaders when he attended the demonstration in March 2010, and described him as “very affable”. “I spoke to him a few times on Facebook and he is extremely intelligent and articulate and very affable,” the source told The Daily Telegraph. “He is someone who can project himself very well and I presume there would be those within the EDL who would be quite taken by that. It’s like Hitler, people said he was hypnotic. This guy had the same sort of effect.”

In his first public appearance since the attacks, Mr Lennon said similar attacks could take place in the UK if the right of peaceful protest was taken away. He told BBC2’s Newsnight: “You need to listen because, God forbid, this ever happens on British soil …. it’s the time coming … you’re probably five or 10 years away.”
