Egyptian man who stabbed Stone in Cairo: I hate America

A bucket load of irony here. The American that Mahmoud stabbed actually was a pro Palestinian, Islam apologist who had a major role in promoting Arabic, (and presumably Islamic) culture in the US.

Mahmoud Badr, 30, who holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, was arrested on Thursday after stabbing American academic Chris Stone in the neck outside the US embassy in Cairo.

Badr told interrogators that he took his mother’s knife, travelled to Cairo by train from Kafr El-Sheikh, and went to the US embassy in search of an American citizen to kill, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported on Friday.

Badr attempted to enter the embassy by pretending to be seeking a visa.

Six killed in Thai shop attack

It should be noted that they use the islamic meaning for the term, ‘innocent’ meaning muslim. No non-muslim is ever innocent as they do not believe in the holy napkin or whatever it is, and no muslim can be anything but innocent as his belief in islam makes him an innocent by tardish reasoning.

Suspected Muslim insurgents shot dead six people, including a three-year-old boy, in a convenience store in southern Thailand, police said, two days after peace talks in Malaysia ended in deadlock.

Four gunmen on motorcycles pulled up at the store in Pattani province, 500 metres from a military checkpoint, on Wednesday. “The attackers sprayed the shop with bullets before going in to finish off their victims. They left a note saying ‘revenge for the innocent’ before fleeing the scene,” said a police officer in Pattani.

Daily Mail:

  • They arrived at rally at 4pm – only to find it had finished at 2pm
  • Extremists’ car stopped on their way home because it had no insurance
  • Vehicle is towed with a cache of weapons hidden inside
  • They had a nail bomb, two shotguns and swords – but they weren’t found at the compound for TWO DAYS
  • Group didn’t take mobiles with them on day of the attack to avoid detection
  • Jewel Uddin was involved in another bomb plot which could have been ‘bigger than the 7/7 atrocities’

Six Islamic extremists who plotted a bloody bomb attack on a far-right rally only failed because the gathering finished early – even though they were under surveillance, a court heard.

The group admitted planning a murderous attack at the English Defence League (EDL) event in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, when they appeared before a judge today.

Five members of the gang travelled to the rally with an arsenal of weapons – including a nail bomb which contained 458 pieces of shrapnel, a partially assembled pipe bomb, two shotguns, swords and knives.

Interview with assassination attempt victim, Markus Beisicht

On March 13th, 2013, German police foiled an assassination attempt by Islamic radicals on Markus Beisicht, the leader of the Islam-critical group pro-NRW. That evening Markus Beisicht gave an exclusive interview to PI news in Cologne.

This is part I of II. I hope to have the second one done soon.

OIC TO LAUNCH SATELLITE TV CHANNEL TO COUNTER ISLAMOPHOBIA

Have a really really good look at the symbol for the OIC. When you realize what it obviously means, the more difficult thing to understand is, they really really mean it.

TRT-World:

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has set about launching a television channel to broadcast via satellite to the whole world.

The channel will both get the general public acquainted with the Islamic divide and broadcast transmissions supporting peace. The meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where this idea has been taken up at length was attended by OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin ?hsano?lu and the representatives of member countries. Turkish Radio and Television and Radio and Television Supervisory Board representatives also attended the meeting on behalf of Turkey. OIC Secretary General ?hsano?lu said that setting up such a channel was something the organization should have done much earlier and stressed that it is now an inevitable necessity. He said what the OIC wants to do via this planned channel is to explain the values Islam is based on and give the message that the Prophet Muhammed was sent to mankind as a blessing.

This from NDTV:

34 killed in Bangladesh after Islamist ordered hanged

Dhaka: At least 34 people were killed in Bangladesh in a wave of violence on Thursday as Islamists reacted furiously to a ruling that one of their leaders must hang for war crimes during the 1971 independence conflict.

At least 23 of them were shot in clashes between police and protesters that erupted after Delwar Hossain Sayedee, the Jamaat-e-Islami party’s vice president, was found guilty of war crimes,

Virginia Imam councils jihad to defend Islam

The video below needs to be seen in the context of the Islamic definition of Islam as detailed here. If one does not understand what Muslims mean by concepts like ‘defense’ etc. then it seems on the surface eminently reasonable. News flash: It is meant to. Islamic history is made of victory through deception. Even when the early Marines beat the Barbary pirates and were tricked into signing an Arabic language version of the peace treaty which said something quite different from the English version.

Blogger hacked to death for insulting islam

Bangladesh? Looks like London, England.
======================
Bangladesh has launched a crackdown on Internet sites for “hurting religious feelings” in the majority Muslim nation amid protests by Islamic groups against bloggers seen as anti-Islamic, officials said Thursday.

Giasuddin Ahmed, vice chairman of the country’s telecommunications regulator, told AFP at least two websites had been blocked. Authorities had also removed 10 blog posts for “spreading hatred, provoking social disorder and hurting religious feelings of the people”.

A blogger who had been critical of Bangladesh’s Islamist groups was killed in the capital late Friday, police said, a day after he attended a big rally against leaders of the country’s largest Islamic party.

Protests championed by the country’s bloggers have seen thousands of people take to the streets demanding the execution of leaders of the Jamaat-e-Islami party who are under trial for war crimes. Clashes between police and Islamist protesters demanding the trials be halted have also rocked the capital.

Police found the body of Ahmed Rajib, 35 — better known by his online identity Thaba Baba — near his home in Dhaka’s Pallabi suburb, with his head hacked apart with a machete.

EDL bomb hoax accused ‘wanted to get under their skin’

BBC:

A man who sent a message to the English Defence League saying its Bristol march was going to be bombed has told a jury he thought it would be ignored.

Sakander Mahmood, 26, from Sheffield, admits sending the right-wing group a hoax message through their website.

But the father-of-five denies communicating a bomb hoax.

He told Sheffield Crown Court that at the time he had thought the EDL would “get a bit wound up”.

He said: “I wanted to get under their skin a bit and thought they would not take it seriously.”

Mr Mahmood, of Firth Park, sent a message which read: “14th July in Bristol, You are getting bombed.

‘My home city’

Mr Mahmood said: “I thought they’d get this kind of stuff all the time and they would ignore it.”
